When I arrived there was a car parked car unattended, no one in there. Drove around it to pull in.Two employees came out and gave me an attitude for going around the parked car.One of the guys kept looking at me with an attitude as if I did something horrible.Poor professionalism specially after I found out of of the guys is the owner.Never going there again and do not recommend it at all.I try to support small businesses but clearly they do not want to be helped.

BUYER BEWARE! I took my car here with my mom about a month ago and the employees mixed up the floor liner of my car with another customers. We didnt notice until we got home. We went back to this place to ask if they had heard from the other customer, they hadnt but they did offer to pay for a replacement provided we bring them the receipt. We ordered the floor liners then took that receipt in to them and instead of reimbursing us for the cost they gave us a lousy gift card that we can only use at their car wash. How is this supposed to make things right? Id like to know why they think its okay to carelessly handle their clients property, offer to pay for a replacement, and then switch things up at the last minute? This is not right!

Horrible place! I spent $38.00 plus tip on a car wash today at this place. They wiped off dust, but they didn’t clean the interior of the car. When I asked one of the workers if he could at least clean my cup holder he told me that he would do it, but that they only dust and they don’t clean the inside of the car. I was very disappointed with this place. I understand it’s not a car detail, but can you at least vacuum properly. My seats still had crumbs... horrible. I do not recommend!

Great service at a great price

This was my favorite place to go when they first opened up. But for some reason it has gone down. I really looked forward to getting my car washed, because when it was done I loved showing it off. But lately I go and when I leave, I have to clean it up myself.Well, I just left Splash about an hour ago. When I arrived I mentioned to Nick that the last few times I had my truck cleaned they did not apply the spray wax all over including the top. He mentioned he would make sure it was taking care of. I really do not like telling people these kind of things because Im afraid they will take it the wrong way. Its not my intention to upset anyone. But when I pay $42 plus a $5 dollar tip (Every-time) I would like it done properly.So I kept my eye on my truck and when it was time to apply the spray wax I watched closely. Once again the person applying wax went over it quickly missing many areas including nothing on the roof and back bumper. Then when he was done wiping off the wax, it look like he took a picture of the roof to make it look like he did that area. I also asked him if any tire dressing was applied to my tires and his response was yup.I really hate doing these reviews when Ive been happy for such a long time. Now after Splash management reads this of course they wont be happy and Ill have to find another place to wash my truck. Because who is gonna want to wash my car after a bad review. But itll be hard to find a place like Splash, because once upon a time this place set the standard for other car washes to follow. But once again their business seems to be doing really good, so they push cars through as fast as they can. Because money is far more important than quality of work.Ive added some pics of the inside and outside. Does not look like they vacuumed the driver side floor. Look at the wheels. They told me tire dressing was added. I believe it was but done quickly and not thoroughly. Outside of truck was not wiped down good. Spots everywhere.I gave them a 2 star because I feel they can come back from this. Its not to late. I hope management replies back so we can correct this and move forward.

Did an amazing job detailing my car, every inch of it, I explained what I needed done and the team went above and beyond on handling it even showing things that needed to be cleaned and I didn’t notice until they told me and they took care of it without even asking me. Definitely recommend and will be going back

Best detail place for a HAND wax - no buffers. If you take care of your car with regular washes, then the twice a year wax keeps the finish showroom new. Been using Xymol wax since new and usually takes me about 3 hours to do it myself. Wife said I was waisting time, so I decided to give Splash a chance. Very fairly priced and they did an awesome job. My biggest issue recently? They arent wearing masks correctly, or if youre the guy running the store (white, male, 20s) I guess he felt he didnt need to wear a mask AT ALL while he was in my car and others. Pretty disrespectful honestly and Im pretty sure against the law right now?Also.I keep having issues after initially loving the car wash. They dont do much more then a quick wipe on the exterior, ignoring mildly harder but still easy marks on my car. I assume its because they want to pump out as many cars as they can.

Could not rave more about this place! Its a product of pure genius! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I was able to get my car washed indoors in the heat while it is 12 degrees outside. I was able to get my toddler and 2 dogs out of the car inside their building and in the heat! The prices are very reasonable and cheaper than I expected!

When they cleaned the inside windows, they only cleaned the drivers side of the windshield. Also did not clean the drivers side window or the rear window. The outside of the van looked good.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went in after doing a 5K where they throw colored powder on you. Needless to say, it was all over the inside of the car. They were able to clean the whole interior and got it all out for a very reasonable price. I wasnt pressured to purchase any other packages. I was in and out in less than half an hour. I will definitely be going back. George was very friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend Splash Car Wash if youre looking to get your car cleaned.

Legit car wash. All hand wash, plenty of employees so coverage is great and fairly quick. Clean place as well, car always comes out nice and clean, the basic wash includes air and towel dry. My go to place.

Pros: Great wash, minimal wait on a sunny Saturday. Very good service.Cons: Asked to exit vehicle inside wash, on wet, slippery floor. Odor from adjacent Dog Wash is quite strong and less than pleasant.Overall, pleased with first visit and would return...just wasnt prepared for those Cons.

I own a car wash. And I can tell you...This place has a great thing going. They do a great job at a fair price. Hand wash is way better than those tunnels with the brushes to scratch the H out of your car.

Great but inconsistent with drying and washing

Disappointed that 3 weeks ago I paid $25 to have only the outside of my car washed. Today I paid $25 to have the inside and the outside. And the job they did today on the inside was that worth it. Thinking twice about going again used to be my favorite.

Its ok, they dont pay enough attention to details though! I have been there 5 times and each time I have had to follow up by finishing cleaning my wheels myself. The wash is better for the cars paint but they need to step up when aware of issues with the crew

Pros:+ Nice Facility+ They used compressed air to get water out of spots like your mirrors, grill, etc+ Friendly staff+ Wide range of washes to choose from to match any budgetCons:- Interior wipe down is laughable at best. Streaks left inside, doors are ignored, back seats aren’t even touched (This has happened the past 2 times I’ve gotten my car washed here). It hasn’t been overly busy every time I’ve gone so I consider this to be pretty inexcusable. Given I spent $35 on the wash I’d expect this to be covered but I guess not.I can’t speak towards the dog grooming facility but it’s a nice deviation from the other washes in the area. It’s also a better experience than Park Place if you’re comparing the two.

This place has terrible service. They value quantity over quality and do not trust any of the workers here because I have gone 3-4 times within the last couple of months and they always have different washers and dryers seems like their workers never last so they take advantage of cars. Im definitely never coming back to this place. Youre better off washing your car yourself because they also charge to take off bugs and if your car is oversized as well.

5 years of all seasoned dirt, these guys made my car look new again, inside & out. It got so clean I didnt want to move and make a mess again. They even restored the steering wheel with Alcantara material (Suede). I am very impressed and I am one satisfied customer.

I spent $38.00 tor a car wash and I was left with a dirty windshield so streaked you could not see at night and the vacuuming was so poor I had to redo that and the windows. Not sure I am going back.

Owner and employees dont care for the customer. They turned my car off while in neutral and my car died. New battery, car only a year old. Didnt want to take blame and didnt even apologize. Shame, auto expo it is.

Amazing !!! Very polite customer service, didn’t try to upsell, uses multiple dryer machines in each car to maximize drying (they don’t leave your car on running the heater as a dryer). We took our SUV and the up charge for a wash only was 7.00. Crazy expensive up charge for only an exterior wash!! They didnt clean the bugs off the front of the car so we commented, they stated that was an extra charge not included in the car wash! When we have our cars washed I guess I assume they will be clean when it is finished, not have big smears still all over the front end! We have our cars cleaned all the time and have never had such a terrible job! I would NEVER recommend this car wash!

These guys always do a fantastic job

Just left this place really shocked at how dishonest some people are. When they finished with my car the guy handed me my keys and I immediately knew something was weird. The buttons on my brand new key fob were sunk in like there was nothing for them to press against. I tried to start my car and it immediately shut off. I looked at the casing and there was a major crack so I opened the key fob to see if something was loose. To my amazement the circuit board was missing! I quickly questioned everyone at the place and nobody touched the keys. Then a couple of the workers pretend to search my car and miraculously find the circuit board on the floor! Come on! They seriously wanted me to believe that the circuit board just fell out of the key fob onto the floor. There are some shady people working at this place. Watch your stuff! I definitely wont be going back.

I knew I should of went to a self serve car wash! First time going to this place and they slam my trunk and bust out the third tail light on my Cadillac cts. Better yet they say Its my fault for not telling them the trunk shuts hard. Worst service Ive ever had in any type of establishment!

Cheap, poorly managed, stole money, and car had more stains than when I dropped it off. No care for customers concern or money spent. Asked for a refund since stains were worse and Nick refused. I will never go there. Offered no reasonable solution and wouldnt offer manager or owner last name. I dont know how many years of businesses but its not a company I would endorse or recommend. Must be a scam if they make you feel like it dirt. I dont feel comfortable with staff, skills, or letting them practice on my car carpets again. Feeling used and unfairly treated. You would think a car detailing place would know how to clean carpets, its a service listed. Unsure why a refund or someone more knowledgable itsnt running the place. I hope you dont make it here in Libertyville with this kniving, poor service and no conscience of taking over a hundred dollars for you to wipe some stain all over that just appeared after 1 week. I would like a refund Nick/Sal. I will let everyone know what you didnt do right. You shouldnt be in town.

Just got my car cleaned and I couldnt be happier! The car was pretty dirty and had throw up in it from a nauseous friend and they literally cleaned it to the point where I couldnt even tell someone puked all over and there was no smell. They even cleaned under the seats and found some old relics that if been missing. Will always suggest splash carwash! Thanks guys!

My family has been going here for a while and they do a good job washing cars. I took my wifes little Nissan Juke and was charged a $3 oversize fee for the first time. This car is 162 long! Its extremely tiny. A Toyota Camry is 192.The owner, George Roman happened to be there when I was checking out. I asked him how it was possible and that it didnt make sense compared to a typical sedan. This man actually just turned around and walked away. He didnt provide an explanation at all. It was the most unprofessional behavior I have seen from a business owner possibly in my entire life.My extended family in Libertyville has a total of 9 cars and this has been our choice for bi-weekly car washes. These car washes are between 20-30 bucks a pop and annually we are talking at least $5k a year in car and probably over $6k. The lifetime customer value this poor business man has lost is significant. I dont see how this car wash biz will stay in business in the long-run with such poor management skills.
