The staff is completely amazing. Was a member in 2018 and the staff then were absolutely horrible. So far, this time is going well.Jessie and the crew are completely amazing!!! Every single staff member is awesome in their own way!!

The facility is beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered into the building. It is spacious and very clean and to top it off Jessica was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I Looooove the PF Lexington location. I wish I lived near. I would be there everyday working out and enjoying the exclusive Spa area. PF Lexington is the Best Planet Fitness location that I have ever been to hands down!

I went to open and account and join in, A girl name Holly was there and she asked me how can she help me I told her I want to open an account but I want to Use a Grey sneaker card.Holly took my card and said my card is fake that anybody can print it off the internet. Mind me I’ve been use that card for 4 years because I travel for work. And she refused to take my card. She was very rude and disrespectful and she asked me to leave the club after I asked for her Manager name.She needs more training and she shouldn’t be dealing with customer service with that kind of attitude.

I loved coming here! The workers are fantastic and so so so patient and nice, the equipment is kept in shape and taken care of, and its honestly fun to work out here.

They always have some kind of fees that have to be paid. I just created my account they charged me late fees twice, and then when I asked to cancel we had to pay 40 more dollars after being a member for 2 months. I haven’t walked in once without having to pay something.

Beautiful, large, very clean. The music was great. Staff was awesome. Just an overall great gym. We liked it so much were going back at 5am to get one more workout in before leaving the area. Wish it was our home gym.

First, the employees are very friendly and always very helpful. My Planet Fitness is very clean and Covid-19 user friendly. Masks are required and all members follow the protocol. The brightness of the colors, fans turning, machines turning, and members chattering away, makes the facility very user friendly. Top job, Team Planet Fitness of Lexington, NC!

I really like working out here. It’s clean. The staff is friendly. I usually go during off-peak hours so I never have a problem getting to use the machines I want. Overall, it’s been a great experience. Nothing beats a workout, tan, and hydro bed massage under one roof!!My only complaint is the trainer situation. Issac is the trainer in Lexington, NC. He’s awesome; very positive and personable. However, he’s the only trainer at the gym and his schedule is jam packed full of classes, orientations, and group fitness planning. It would be great if there were more trainers available to meet both morning and evening demand for classes, have more classes available, and for more personal assistance, in general. For example, I’d love to learn how to incorporate free weights into my workout but my poor trainer hardly has time for his 1/2 hour lunch based on his schedule. Having more trainers on hand would go a long way towards helping novices like me feel less intimidated by the gym experience.

Really enjoying this gym. Very clean, well managed, I never have to wait on a machine. It is perfect for someone either starting out or someone who has been at it for years.

This place took money out of my account 9 months after canceling membership. And when asked for a refund, I was told there would be none. This place is terrible.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful staff. No one watches you as you work out and its all around a healthier experience to get add to your schedule.

The staff is nice and friendly and the gym is clean, well lit and organized. However, some of the rules are off putting. For example, you are not allowed to deadlift at planet fitness. Aside from the strange rules Planet Fitness cant be beat for 20$ a month.

I canceled my membership almost 2 years ago. They continued to draft it out of my account each month! I went to talk to them in person, but they refused to refund my money! I’m very upset!

Really enjoy this gym, very clean environment and quality equipment. Staff is decently pleasant although some staff members seem to have slight attitude towards guests and members. I’m a black card member and can say that the tanning beds and hydro massage chairs are well kept and nice and staff does there best to get people in and out in a timely manner so your not waiting forever for your turn. Overall this is a great gym to be a part of for such a great price

This is the first time I have gone to a gym. The staff walked me through everything with ease. I went for orientation tonight and was pleased with everything that I was shone. Im looking forward to my dyo meeting next week. I cant wait to get started on my program. Thanks Planet Fitness. I highly recommend getting the black card membership. The hydrotherapy beds are amazing.

This is the 3rd Planet Fitness Ive belonged to. Clean, reasonable prices, quality equipment, nice staff. They have a good formula that works. The place could benefit from more weight machines, as after work, the place is packed, and it is a bit smaller than a previous PF that I belonged to, but still a well run business.

Financially joining becomes a hardship, especially when not used at all. Friends do it too? .25 down unforseen large amount plus monthly to close out before 12 months, no matter what the hardship a family must pay first-hand. Even if a person has never use it at all your account continues to get charged for the entire year??? Im proof of that!!!

Recently just joined and already seeing results. Didnt think it would be as nice as it truly is for that price. I really enjoy going there and doing the 30 min workout. I bought the black card b.c so I enjoy tanning and massaging as well as working out for a really great price.

I love this location. The only problem I have is that it is not open 24 hours 7 days a week. My work schedule requires me to work 1ST, 2ND and 3RD shifts; so there are times when I can not work out on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There are people other than me who are dealing with this issue as well.

My main reason for joining was for using weight machines. There was no personal instruction on weight machines. Each machine was shown/demonstrated once in a group of 7. Was told by instructor Im not a personal trainer, Im a fitness coach. I understood the concept but using weight machines properly & benefiting the most from use comes from client being shown proper technique & then demonstrating that to staff member (individually). Proper technique is key and keeps you from injury. Seeing it once & then quickly moving on to the next machine is not proper instruction. Thus, I cancelled my membership. Lisa Lockwood 2018.

Starting with the positive, the people are friendly. That it seriously thats the only positive thing I have to say about this place. The negative is they will take out of your bank account whenever they want to, however they want to, for however much they want to. In one month they withdrew six times from my account. Their financial department is seriously incompetent, and it will drain this company of all its customers. Im completely and utterly bewildered as to how they have stayed in business this long.

Surprise sign up fee for $56. Monthly billing is $10 so we have to pay a sign up fee thats equivalent to 6 months of membership?Nahh homie dont play that.If the sign up fee is waived yeah Id change my review.

We really like Planet Fitness. They have anything you could possibly want to work out. They have lots of cardio machines and tons of weights. There is a place for ab. work and stretching. They have a room that will give you a full body work in 30 minutes and a room for stretching. They have a trainer on staff, too. Whats more! They even have hydro beds and massage chairs in the back! 🙌

The daytime front desk staff mainly ladies here are mainly concerned with the use of the Hydro beds. I was only giving her my turn on the Hydra bed . I was sharing that instead of taking my turn. Because I have found that the chairs that are free to everyone give a good massage as good as the Hydra beds. I dont know why this is such a special privilege of the black card. Really technically they should offer a black card membership something more like a actual physical massage. Or better yet a hot tub. There is not many class offerings like spinning classes and aerobics like you find at other gyms. Even the YMCA has spin classes and of course step and aerobic. It would be nice if the trainers would have some good classes . I actually started out in the Salisbury Planet Fitness back in the days when it was good. Unfortunately Salisbury has not been good on cleanliness so I quit going there . The sad thing is this place during the daytime should be more concerned with cleanliness . I have never seen two people such as the front two people at this place so concerned with hydra bed usage. These people made it their occupation to stop me from allowing my wife who helps me pay for my black card membership to not use the Hydra bed. I feel they are in the right if she was only a guest however she is my wife. They even put a message on the check in screen to watch me . That is totally crazy . They have signs all over saying they are the judgement free zone . They even show commercials on how great they are for everyone . It looks like they are becoming like the fast food industry and car lots where they advertise great things but deliver something else . They call this the big bait and switch . These overzealous two front desk girls need to be concerned more with MRSA. And they would be better serving the customer cleaning most of the equipment and the floors. It is being transmitted at gyms I am a healthcare provider and I have seen some rather bad things coming from gyms. Also the same overzealous people have allowed their friends at various times to use the Hydra beds. This I feel is discrimination where they are totally focused on me when they are doing things like not taking care of customers who are not washing their machines down after use and other worse happenings. However I have seen the night shift working very diligently at cleanliness at this gym. The night shift is very cordial and very non judgemental . And so far I have not received any MRSA type of infections or staph infections here. Thanks for adding phone music here. However this place gets two stars because of not offering classes like spin class. And also for having overzealous front-end staff who decide to pick and choose who they get on to about hydrabed uses. If youre going to discriminate against me and my wife you need to hold the line on everybody. They have been very political and seem to allow other types of people go under their radar. Like I said if she was just a guest I wouldnt mind. Although a hydra bed is just a machine. If I want the right to give her my turn I dont see where the problem remains. Shes going to take turns on the equipment what is the difference its still a machine. I can understand on the tanning beds. But giving her my turn should be my right as a black card member. Especially when she is helping pay for the household expenses such as a black card for me. You may want to allow wives of Black Card members in the future. I can understand guest not being able to. However I feel like the black card should have more privileges such as spin classes. Or maybe like a big hot tub room . Because I never use the tanning beds. Something like a fruit smoothie twice a month. Or a better reduction of prices of Planet Fitness attire and towels and equipment. I know you do pizza. But it would be nice to have something else at another time in the month. Yall advertise fully about judgement free these two front desk day Clerks need retraining. They have made my wife feel very uncomfortable. Good work ladies.

I’m very disappointed in the way the manager there and the front desk staff handled a situation in particular. I’m paying for my mothers membership there and she has guest privileges to bring my little brother in there so he can try and lose weight. They have been members there and have been going there since the facility opened up. Today they were not allowed to go in because my little brother was not in the system/ didn’t have his birth cert. on file. We have taken his birth certificate 1-2 months ago and I was told by the manager herself that there is nothing on file and that he was listed as my mothers guest less than a month ago. Like I mentioned before, we have been going there since the gym opened up and I don’t understand why he hasn’t been put in the system as her guest till a month ago. That tells me the front desk staff aren’t doing their job and I’m very unsatisfied. Please make sure your front desk staff are making sure they are doing their job, this wouldn’t have happened had the birth certificate been scanned the day we brought it in 1-2 months ago! I manage a gym myself and I’m very aware that you do need a form of identification to have on file for a guest!
