Our A/C unit quit working last night. We couldnt get the indoor temperature below 80 degrees. It was a hot and humid night. I called Palmetto AC the following morning and they were able to find and fix the issue on the same day. I thought it was going to cost a lot more than what they actually charged. Right now me and my wallet are very happy in our air conditioned home!

It luckily gave out before the heat of the summer and I felt confident with this company to do the install of the new unit. They did not disappoint me with a fair price and professional work.

I am very disappointed in how Palmetto Air Conditioning handled the situation today. I took an off day from my busy work load schedule just for today’s HVAC appointment. I even called them for an appointment prior day ahead during my lunch break. Today, my whole entire half day went complete waste which I waited for a no show appointment. So I called myself instead to see what’s going on after long wait. Than front receptionist/admin Kim told me that she was going to call me and let me know that someone was sick and called out. So after my entire morning plus till noon wait and since the time I make an appointment/called for it, you’re going to tell me NOW that no one will show up today? Plus No apologies at all either. Apologies or not I don’t expect it either. I understand someone called out sick and you said you can’t control it and it’s out of your hands but what about me? that had to put everything aside and waited for you guys my entire day just for this appointment? I would appreciate it if you could at least called me early ahead and let me know so than I don’t have to wait entire day from morning till noon for you guys! I am very disappointed and the way how things were handled and responded. Very unprofessional.

They saved the day. They had to fix many issues from inadequate repairman in the past. They came on short notice and saved the day and fixed our a/c problems quickly.

Palmetto has taken over Quality Plus Heat and Air who use to do my service and they were completing a service inspection for my previous contract with QPHA. They were on time and performed my regular service with no issues to report so my first encounter with this company was very positive which seems to go along with the other reviews.

Awesome business. Kim is an outstanding individual who is not only dedicated to her job but also dedicated to the customer’s needs. I currently have a home warranty protection “Old Republic” if you currently have them, I truly apologize. Kim picked up where (old republic fell short) and finally got things accomplished. Old Republic fought me for four months after having issues with my AC for the past three years, they still would not replace the system but only have shady contractors duct tape new coils to the old unit. 8th time is the charm and I now know why because Palmetto Air gets it done and gets it done correctly. They are usually called out when all other contractors fail. In my opinion they should be the first to respond...Thank you Kim and all the workers at Palmetto Air. You all are truly amazing. Not only do I finally have a new AC system on the way, but I can finally have peace of mind that my house will not be sitting at 102 degrees next June. I will be sure to recommend your services.

We had a new AC unit installed in February of 2018, and our electric bill dropped dramatically (over $100)! I scheduled the free annual maintenance between 10am and 12pm, and Jason came over at almost exactly 10am. He did an excellent job of explaining what he was checking, and asked questions to make sure I had no concerns. He was extremely polite and a pleasure to talk with! We will definitely continue to have our unit maintained here!

I called Palmetto Air conditioning on February 7 2019 and they responded promptly to the service in which I need. Jason arrived to diagnose the issue, which he did in a very efficient and professional manner. Then had the parts on hand to actually fix the problem. Manager at Ram Tool a construction supply company In Columbia. We came in Monday morning and the air conditioner was not working so we called Palmetto Air Conditioning and within an hour they had a tech on site and the air-conditioner back up and running within 15 minutes. Palmetto Air Conditioning has been a great company to work wtih! When my AC system broke the first opinion was not quite honest with me. I called Palmetto for a second opinion and the owner came out to evaluate everything. He went into the attic, took pictures of what was wrong and came back down to show and explain to me what was broken and what needed to be fixed. They gave me quotes to fix and and a quote for replacement. I opted to replace and it was great. The techs are very polite and have manners and respect. The office staff was great when setting up all the appointments and follow up maintenance. Everyone has gone out of their way to help me and make me feel comfortable with the process! I will and have recommended them to several people. They will be the only company to touch my HVAC system.I would rate them 5 stars.

Jamie did a great job fixing my AC. He explained the possible causes of the problem and found it to be a simple fix. I had another company do an inspection last year and they misdiagnosed the problem which was going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix. Jamie was able to fix the issue in less than an hour saving me time and money. I will be using Palmetto Air Conditioning for any HVAC issues in the future. Very impressed with the service I received.

Price gouging at its finest. At least $100 over what should be reasonable. Also does not have access to parts so you have to wait days for the repair! Just had different company come out-misdiagnosed as well. Saved $200 repaired on the spot!

Their staff is friendly and courteous. Their technicians are very cautious of bringing dirt in your house and are super helpful in explaining the best solution for your problem at hand as opposed to just trying to sell you on things you dont need.

I had a confirmed 8am appointment for someone to be at my house to give me a quote on replacing my entire HVAC system, The service guy called at 8:37 to tell me he was on his way, I told him that I had an appointment for 8 am and that I never received a phone call warning me that they were running late so I had to leave to go to work and his comment to me was that they have a 2 hour window of opportunity which was never mentioned to me.
