I can’t put into words how amazing Dr. Black and her staff are! They have saved my baby’s life twice now and I am forever grateful!They are compassionate, kind, and very affordable. Dr. Black was booked a week and a half out, but we had an emergency. We first took him to another clinic that charged over $600 just for tests and told me it would be another $3000 for surgery… the next morning I called and talked to Dr. Black directly and she was able to not only fit my baby in, but also remove a toy that was lodged in his intestines for a third of the cost! Thank you Dr. Black and everyone on your staff, y’all are truly a blessing 🥰

At a first glance this seemed like a good vet for what I needed done with my pitbull, however I had to reschedule an appointment due to inclement weather conditions where I was told it would be the same day the next week and was “put down on the list.” I then proceeded to call and see what all I needed to bring, what to expect, etc, and there was no appointment for me and they then proceeded to make it my fault and saying I “thought” I had made an appointment. All in all, very unprofessional and unorganized they lost my business and I’m sure many others if this is a common occurrence.

I brought my pet rabbit to be neutered and the surgery fortunately went well, meaning there were no infections. It’s just really dirty there and I don’t complete trust the staff since they don’t even care to pay attention to our situation. It’s also very price, which is not worth it because the care and attention they give to owners and pets is highly questionable. The nurses, or whoever they are, were so disrespectful. We were completely ignored by them and rather blabber than actual listen to me explain our situation. The doctor’s advise was not very informative because I learned more on Google than with her. However she was much more trustworthy than the rest of her staff. I just don’t recommend this place at all. I don’t feel comfortable bringing my pet here, but hopefully others have a better experience than we did.

Sanitation standards are low. There’s an ongoing pandemic & I had to ask multiple people to wash their hands. Dr. Black tried to be understanding, but was almost as dismissive as Samantha.

Ive used this vet clinic for years. Pretty much since I moved to Lawton. Not only did Dr Black save my pup like 5 years ago from parvo, but I brought a very sick cancerous cat to her, and she prolonged his life for a good 2 years. Shes gotta be one of the best vets in the city. I used another vet recently when I had a puppy who was sick with parvo, (just cuz they werent open at the time) and although they saved him, Dr Black was my first choice. This is the best vet in the city, and I encourage everyone to use them.

Dr Black is awesome. The other vet, I think its Dr. Eaton, is also great. My 7 month old Mini Aussie Biscuit just had her spay. Shes gotten all her care from Midtown and they have been great with her. The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. When I called with concerns about her not having bowel movement without some pain, they took my concerns seriously, later that day the Doc called me to check on her personally. I wouldnt take any animal to any other vet. A few years ago we took the best dog ever.. Daisy the boxer, to see Dr. Black when Daisy was having issues walking and kept banging into things. She diagnosed her with spine cancer. She cried with me for what seemed like hours then gave me options for our next step. She is a true treasure to Lawton.

Dr. Black, Alyssa and all the associates at Midtown are phenomenal... They care and take the time to answer all questions. Dr. Black even called me on a day they were not open to answer my voicemail and questions. I absolutely trust them with my dogs and have boarded them there already! Happy pups, happy parent! Highly recommend!

6 dogs, 11 chickens, 2 turkeys and a cat. Id never trust anyone but dr. Black. Shes amazing! Shes so cool and caring. I love her. I lover staff. I love the services and prices. My Batman is always in the best of hands when he sees her. Just THE BEST!

Dr. Black makes me enjoy taking my pup, Beans, to the vet! She and the staff are so friendly that Beans actually enjoys going every time. His tail wags from the moment we get there until we leave. On top of that, she helped catch mange early before it got bad. So thankful for such an amazing service!

My precious puppy got parvo and I immediately took her to Dr.Black. Of course I wanted to do everything I could to save her and so did they. I felt like they really cared and made the entire process as easy as possible for me and my family. She is now well and more active then before, I love them for saving her. Some vets will tell you there is nothing they can do but I know they well exhaust every option possible. She truly loves animals and I am so glad to have known about them. GO HERE!!!!!! if you want the best care possible for your pet.

Everyone is so nice and they try to be very helpful I appreciate the email/ text reminders when we have an appointment coming because I am very forgetful 😎 the Dr. Was very helpful with the budget we were on I will definitely be going back when we need a vet.

I was so shocked today, after using this vet for years, almost getting run over in the waiting room, and spending hundreds of dollars with them, when I called for help today I was completely turned away . How sad ... I cant even tell you how hurt and suprised I was 😭😭

I have been taking my pets to Midtown for 30 years. When Dr. Haney retired, we were concerned about who would be his successor. But Dr. Katrina Black has treated all of our cats, saved our Gandalf, helped us countless times, been with us at the end several times, and has come after hours for emergencies. She is knowledgeable, professional, caring, and compassionate. We wouldnt go anywhere else.

I dont know what to say other than Dr. Black is the best veterinarian Ive had in my entire life. Ive lived in many states over the years and had various vets that looked after my pets, so I know a GREAT VET when I see one! Dr. Black and her staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and caring. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my furry babies!

Dr. Black and her staff are great! They really care about pets and treat them well. Dr. Black is also very knowledgeable. My cat had a very, nasty, smelly ear infection. After visiting with one vet who told me information that I knew wasnt true regarding the ear infection (I had researched it) and charging my husband and I a lot of money for treatments that didnt work; we took our cat to Midtown Animal Hospital. They were very attentive to our cat and treated her well. Dr. Black diagnosed our cat correctly and the medication started working after one day with great improvement to our cats ear. We were so thankful! My husband and I will continue to use Midtown Animal Hospital for all of our four-legged babies medical needs.

I love this place. Dr. Black comforted and accommodated me when my Onyx died. They love my Shadow and Argo now. The staff really cares about all of their furry (or feathered, scaly, etc.) patients. I have been to previous vets with other dogs long ago, and no one can compare to the kindness, knowledge, and compassion that the entire staff has here. I will never go anywhere else. I appreciate all that they do. Too bad I cant give higher than a five star. :-)

One of the best keot secrets in Lawton, this clinic is without a doubt the most caring and value for money ones in town.And the level of care is off the charts they are so far removed from many other vets who give you the least amount of service for the highest dollar possible.Honest with a real true concern for your pet..Midtown is a must if you want your special family member to get the kind of attention and love you give them.In short the stars hardly cover it this is a exceptional group to work with highly recomended.

My dog Anakin got really sick from ibuprofen the other night, she woke up and met us at her office at 3:30 in the morning. Anakin is my whole world and she helped me when I needed it most. I will always and forever respect and support this office. She is definitely a life saver and Im glad she was there. She is honest and trustworthy.

My mother has been going to this vet for 13 years. Our first family dog they took care until he got cancer. I can tell you these people will cry when they have to euthinize a sick animal. our 2 dog was a golden who lived a long life and was treated regularly here he to had to be put to sleep at an old age. These dogs lived much longer thanks to this place. My entire family wont go anywhere else.You want a vet you can trust save yourself trying to find the cheapest one these people are the best in northeast Ohio. And I assume they will work with you.
