I did not have a great experience with this location. I was sent and email and text confirming my kids appt today and when I got there they told me I had an appt at another location when clearly my email stated this location . I left and Then I called back the front desk lady said that we no longer see patients under 15 . I proceeded to ask why did I get a appt confirmation then? She said it was for a different doctor that no longer works there. Then I ask how come great expressions did call us to cancel the appt. She rudely said it was for a different team and hung up. Needless to say we won’t be going the Great expression anymore as they were unprofessional and rude.

The experience that I had with Great Expressions was amazing. Norma, Daniel and the other members took care of me like family and made sure all my concerns had been alleviated. You should definitely stop by and check them out! They do amazing work.

They have great staff there. The front desk will greet you with a smile when you walk in and make sure you are taken care of . Diana is a great dental hygienist who is very careful, kind, and do great work. She does the best work . She explains and take care of your teeth very well . I had been to the Lilburn location for my previous visits and I decided to switch over to this location by recommendation of a friend. And I’m so happy I did, the front staff was very friendly but Lisa was very accommodating and helpful. The hygienist Diana was very nice and took her time during my cleaning, I really liked her a lot . I would definitely come back and recommend this location.

I had a horrible experience with Great Expressions Dental Centers located at 1699 Duluth Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 by their unethical and unprofessional conducts. Dont give them a chance to cheat you and rip you off. I went there to fix my crown. After I paid for the crown and they took out my old broken crown, they asked me to spend extra $362 to do cleaning, otherwise they would refuse to situate the new crown, which I already paid for, back on my tooth. At the end, they forced me to sign a paper to waive all my right, to be able to get my crown situated. If you have other choices, dont go there, they will not only charge you dearly, but also take advantage of any chance to rip you off.

I am so glad I came to great expressions in Duluth. Dr. Hwang and Norma made me feel so comfortable. Lisa and Desirée always have great energy when I come in. I will recommend for you to come here.

Since moving to Atlanta over 10years ago, it has been hard to find a medical professional whether it be a physician or a Dentist who does a good thorough job. Well I have found my Dentist. I really like Dr. Tran. She is very transparent in what your dental needs are and what will need to be done, along with how you the patient will play a role in your dental health. I appreciate her honesty. Her staff is exceptional, very professional and willing to assist you in anyway possible. thanks guys, I appreciate you .

New to the area and decided to give them a try.The dentist and dental assistant were very nice and professional. He measured my gums and gave me great feedback, stating he could tell I took care of my teeth. The location was EMPTY so that weirded me out a little bit but I assumed people were hesitant to come in because of COVID.Two weeks later I returned for the cleaning and was told by the hygienist that I have gum disease and needed a $300 cleaning every 3 months! Obviously I was surprised and asked how things could change so quickly and the hygienist threw the dentist under the bus by saying “I can’t speak for what he saw and we are trained to look for it” that obviously left a poor taste in my mouth so I wanted nothing to do with this place.Once I told them I wasn’t interested, I was left waiting in the chair and had to lower the chair myself and ask if I was done at the front desk. They would not perform a routine cleaning.It’s sad to read that others have had the same experience but I’m glad to know my gut instinct wasn’t off. This place is just trying to upsell cleanings. She started to mention the “special” cleaning from the moment I sat in the chair so of course it was “confirmed” when looked in my mouth.So distrustful. Shame on them.

I came in for a scheduled routine cleaning and check-up. To start off, during my visit Dr. Tran decided to leave me and attend to another patient that came 30-40 mins AFTER me. She had me waiting for 15-20 mins like I have all the time in the world to be waiting. When she decided to come back she wanted to do a special cleaning and fill-ins because I had gum disease. I told her Ive been seeing a dentist routinely! So, how all of a sudden I have gum disease?!? She wanted to do fill-ins in the SAME area that was filled less than a year ago from a different dentist and charge almost $400 for it. She claims she couldnt tell if the previous dentist actually did them. Also, she wanted to charge me $300 for the special cleaning and I have insurance!! Then tried to up-sell an electric toothbrush and WaterPik. The office wanted $90 for WaterPik, when its $40-$60 at Publix. If I would have followed through with everything she wanted I would have paid almost $1000. To make matters worse, their office is not clean and they do not wipe down after each patient. The morning after my appointment I woke up with a bump on my lip.I went to another dentist for a second opinion and turns out I do not have gum disease, do not need any more fill-ins, did not have to wait and their office is CLEAN! Great Expressions is money hungry! Dental chains are now looking like McDonalds - on every damn corner!Another issue is their office constantly calling and texting 2-4x a day to confirm an appointment two weeks out! They called as if they were bill collectors! Blowing up my phone back to back and dont even leave a voicemail! Very unprofessional and annoying!Please stay away from dental franchises, all they care about is MONEY!

I took my son and daughter to get dental check up and was told by dentist That my kids have gum disease . My daughter had special cleaning done like I was told by dentist. I had second opinion by periodontist and my kids does not have gum disease.This facility overselling their service which patient does not need. I would not recommend this facility to anybody. Dr Tran by FAR is the kindest and best of any dentist Ive ever been too. That being said, Id like to have a bit more control over dental materials used, and dental procedures employed....I dont think root canals are EVER ideal, and that is hers and most dentists go to for any infection around the nerve, no matter how large or small.

Friendly and professional, I feel comfortable here in that I have received an accurate and honest assessment to finally be able to put my dental health in perspective. They have a positive plan of action which I am looking forward to starting! Highly recommend

I love love love the staff and the doctor (Tran) at this location. They are very very nice and friendly. They keep up with your appointments and just very helpful. The doctor was great and patient with my daughter who has special needs. The only thing I didnt like was that one of the techs used her bare hands to prepare one of our dental trays and took out the floss with her bare hands. I had to ask her to redo with gloves. Also I was told that I had 10 cavities that needed to be filled soon or they would worsen. The importance of time was urged. Something told me this couldnt be true, I take very good care of my teeth. I decided to go elsewhere for an exam and I only had 1 cavity! Amazing. So Id advise to just make the doctor show and explain exactly what problem you have on xrays/mirror before you agree to any treatment! Other than those things, theyre great.

Growing up the dentist has always been a very scary person. Although this visit completely changed everything for me, from the doctor, to the tech, to the front office. Everyones so nice made you feel so welcome. I could probably go on forever on what a great experience it was. I hope the rating will be enough so that others might take the chance to have the same experience I had today. Great expressions, what a perfect name for this dental facility. Truly they are exactly just that, great!

Today I went to see Dr. Tran and her staff. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. I was sitting in the waiting area and each staff member walked in and said good morning to me. That was very impressive! The receptionist was excellent and so was the lady who explained my benefits. I decided to get a crown and filling done and they worked me into a busy schedule. Dr. Tran and Mark were so nice during the procedure, they kept asking if I needed anything and made sure I felt fine before leaving. I will return in a few weeks to get my crown and I look forward to seeing them! Great customer service, keep up the great job!!

I visited this location last Thursday and like every other visit, the staff is always kind, helpful and welcoming. Even in the early morning hours, they possess the same demeanor. Dr. Tran and staff are very sociable. I love the fact that they give you a breakdown of procedure(s) with pricing before performing any services. Additionally, Dr. Tran takes the time to personally get to know her patients. When you walk into their office, you do not have to worry about long waits. I LOVE that. They do not overbook and keep you waiting. Overall just a great dentistry and Im glad I made the change to this location.

I am greeted promptly when I come through the door. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly. Dr. Tran is very patient with me. I have a very sensitive gag reflex and we laugh every time it gets triggered during my root canal. Who likes having a root canal? NO ONE!!! But it is as pleasant as it can be.

The office staff were so awesome! I appreciated the warm smiles, laughs, and professionalism of everyone during my entire visit. And they didnt bombard me with pricy treatments and patiently answered my questions. I came to them from another Great Expressions after my former dentist moved to a further location. The customer service of staff at the Duluth office is far better! I think Ive made some friends for life.

This has been my dental office of choice for the past 7 years because the staff is very friendly and I think Dr. Tran is just wonderful! They have always gone above and beyond to take care of my every need regardless of how minor those needs might be. I give them a well earned 5 stars!!

I scheduled an online appt on 02/05/2020 for 02/17/2020. I arrived at my appt 30 min early to find out the office was not open on Mondays. I did not recieve a phone call or email about this schedule. The website and ONLINE scheduling portal says the office is open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. I called the office & the receptionist was very non chalant about the inconvenience they caused for me taking off work. Didnt bother to offer an appt for the location that was open that day. Another location it too was closed on Monday as well, and another location only had a hygienist. Such an inconvenience. Im with Coast dental now referred by a coworker who also didnt have a good experience with Great expressions.

I have never had such problems with having to contact outside people to get things handled. Bottom line is that they need a new biller, someone who is more resourceful and familiar with the process, and coder to submit claims. I shouldnt have to do your job when I know that I have coverage.

I couldnt be MORE pleased. I needed a new dentist close to my place of work and this was the closest. I thought I would give it a try after a I chipped crown. Dr. Tran carefully examined my crown and told me it was only a small chip and the crown was otherwise in tack. She said unless I really wanted a new crown, there was no need to replace it. I appreciate her honesty, she could have easily told me I needed a new crown. I promptly made an appointment for a cleaning and oral check up.

Dr. Tran rushed through my exam, then suggested things that I know I didnt need. I didnt receive any copies of my paper work as well, not even the bill!! Please dont take Dr. Trans opinion as fact. Yard key is always so gentle when cleaning my teeth. It’s like she puts herself in your place and she gently talk to as she go. She also is senti e to her patient’s needs and pays attention to littlest things.

I am on my last invisiline tray and I am extremely happy with the outcome of my smile. The staff are uplifting too. I recently shared I was going to have major back surgery and I was scared. Dr. Tran and Tina the office manager both encouraged me not to be afraid. Tina even shared a personal testimony and I left feeling like I was going to be alright. I am very frustrated. This was the company that my insurance company set as my dental provider. I called and set up an appointment and after I took off work and came in they denied me service. They could not provide me a solution for their scheduling mistake. All I wanted was a cleaning. Im pregnant and will not be able to get my teeth cleaned until I get xrays. The dentist refuses to see me even though I scheduled the appointment with them knowing I was pregnant. Now Ive waisted my time and money I could have received from work by taking off. Im pissed.P

Even though some procedures are expensive (as they are anywhere) I get the feeling that the staff actually cares. My family has came here for a bit But I didn’t and they recognized me just by hearing my last name. They’re also very kind and put you first.

This is the best office I have ever been. The staff is so polite and professional.

My experience this time was much better. Only had to do the xray twice after the first try a different staff took the second one and was very concerned about my confort from pain and gagging problem. She used a topical and was quick to take the zray. The crown was put back on with no futher work on the tooth but working on the crown some due to tightness between it and the other tooth and i was out of there within 15 to 20 minutes. Thank God the crown didnt break, just popped off and i brought it along. Going back for my annual check up so ill see how that goes.

I recently was diagnosed with colon cancer. I made an appointment with Dr. TRAN. I told her I was starting chemo at the end of the month. She told me, she and Mark would stay late and make sure all my dental work was done. My appointment was at 1130am. I was having problems with my insurance benifits. Tina took care of all the problems. She also fed me while I was waiting for all benifits to clear. Dr. Tran and Mark did two root canals and extracted one wisdom tooth. Dr. Tran, Mark and Tina were very polite and stayed until 6:30pm. They made sure I was ready to fight my cancer without having to worry about my teeth. Thank you all.

Second time here and service is great. The girls are always so helpful weather on the phone or in person.

This establishment is a complete mockery of what a true business is. The management is incompetent and would rather give excuses then to tell me that they forget to even file the request for approval from the insurance. They pushed back an appointment for 2 months only to find out that they hadn’t resolved anything even though I called every week to ask about it. This has only led to further damage to my daughters mouth and they are to blame for these mistakes. I would strongly suggest to find somewhere else that’s an actual business.

I had to have a tooth capped and dreaded it but was thrilled to have the best experience with a dentist. I had no problem with pain and loved using the ear phones so I didnt have to hear the drill.

I was there last week for my boys visit Dr. Doan Tran they all stuff member welcome me with smile and outstanding customer service. I like the Dr. the way explain all what I have to do for my boys and stuff member are very kind and very patience.

I havent been to the dentist in years and I was not sure which dentist location to go to. I am so glad and grateful I chose this location! They made me feel so welcomed, they are so nice, they explain everything thoroughly, they show you your problem areas and explain what you need to do to improve any trouble areas, and when i called to schedule an appt they had something available for me the next day! They accomodated me quick and even for my future appts. I came in for xrays, cleaning, and some fill ins and they made sure I was feeling fine every step of the way. Im excited to complete my treatment here with them! 😊

Just like everyone else said, they are AWFUL! I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessional people. I went back and forth with them and my insurance for months trying to come to a resolution on what I owe and in the midst of trying to do that, they sent me to collections. I would call there 3 times a week and would always be told I would get a call back and never did. I am a businessman myself and if I treated people the way they do, I would be jobless! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from here. Lastly, my bill was 199.00 and when they sent it to collection they said it was over 400, plus what the collection company charges. STAY AWAY!
