I’ve been coming here for about 4 years before they moved to this location. Definitely feels like family, they know my kids, my husband. We all come here and are always treated amazing. Prices are great, I recently got a crown and it was a lot cheaper than I had expected. The whole process was really cool and painless, everything was done in house, i even got to watch how my crown was made! Definitely recommend this place!!

The best dentist I have ever been to. I’ve been going to them for at least 3+ years. My 6 year old daughter has also been going there since she was about 3 or 4 and loves them. Recently, I got 2 wisdom teeth removed and I was sooo nervous but they made me feel extremely comfortable and I didn’t feel a thing when they pulled them out ! Did I mention I was awake the whole time ! Melissa and Alex are always sweet and have the best customer service. Might I add Dr. Patel is the absolute best ! Overall great experience all the time.

Unfortunately this office has issues with scheduling patients. I received a text stating my appointment was canceled and I was not provided a new date. Upon calling I was told I cant schedule 2 weeks out, even though my original appointment was scheduled 4 months earlier. I will say my 1 visit was great, the Hygienist was awesome and Dr. Patel is nice but I am a new patient and being on standby for a dental appointment isnt going to work.

Clean, modern, friendly, caring, and kind. You will be hard pressed to find a better dentist and dental office in Gwinnett. Highly rated for a reason. You better book early because these guys STAY busy. Very hard working and professional, an asset to the community.

My first experience with Lawrenceville Family Dental care was about 6 months ago and I immediately felt extremely welcome. All the staff were friendly from the front desk, Alex, to the office manager, Michelle, to the very friendly dentist Melissa and then Dr. Patel.From my very first visit, I knew I had found my dentist. I have since gone back several times because I have a lot to do to my teeth and every single time, its felt very homely. Theyre also very efficient at their jobs and make you feel like everything will be fine from your moment you sit in the dentist chair.I had fillings crowns and extractions done there and its gone very seamlessly without any hitch. Melissa is also super friendly and youll sometimes forget youre in a place with massive needles about to go in your mouth. I never feel nervous going there cos Im sure the process will go very smoothly based on my experience.I highly recommend this office and Dr. Patel as anyones dentist! They get a 10-star in my book.

This place is GREAT! They are ON TIME! The front desk staff is very nice! Dr. Patel is Wonderful.... especially at his numbing method. Julie the hygienist is very kind! Ive been going to this dentistry for around 2 years now. I have made sure to diligently go to every 6 month appointment for a cleaning and to take care of my teeth. However, during my recent cleaning, Dr. Patel let me know that I needed 9 fillings. Yep you read that right. After going to him every 6 months, you would think that he wouldve warned me about this, but he never did. All I was ever notified of was that I had about 5 spots that he was watching for a period of what had been about 2 years. So how is it that all of a sudden I have 9 teeth that need to be filled? I went for a 2nd opinion and was able to confirm my suspicions. Im disappointed in myself that I felt I could trust Dr. Patel but realize that I can no longer trust him either. He has lost me as a patient, my mother, and anyone else I would have referred him to.Update: Dr. Patel did contact me about this review. However, the conversation left me with a sour taste. Saying that it was just miscommunication is no valid excuse. It wasnt that I was not satisfied with the diagnosis, but rather that it was dishonest. I heard what I heard, and I have proof of it on the $1200 quote I received listing out the 9 fillings I supposedly needed. Backtracking and saying (only after seeing my review) that I only needed 4 out of the 9 supposed cavities filled is simply inexcusable. Yes, every dentist does have their own approach to providing the best recommended treatment. However, I did not know that that recommended treatment was also drilling into teeth that did not need to be treated in the first place.

Amazing office, team & doctor! I had a broken filling that I neglected for too long and needed a root canal and crown. Dr. Patel and his assistant, Rebekah, were so nice and super gentle. I felt comfortable during the entire appointment and my crown looks fantastic! I hadnt chewed on the left side of my mouth in almost 6 months because I was terrified of breaking the tooth. So happy to have my tooth back. The front office ladies are also wonderful - warm and smiling right when you walk in. Beautiful office too. Just a really great experience. Ill be back next week to get a cleaning!

I am absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. But, this office staff - Alex, Michelle, Julie and Dr. Patel are the best! They made me feel so comfortable and assured me I could trust them to take care of me. I felt like my concerns were addressed and that I was valuable to them. They care about their patients. Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! Until this point, I have nothing but bad experiences with dentists. This place was completely the opposite! I went in after almost 4 years of not seeing a dentist. Not a great history in the dentist office, however Dr. Patel, as well as the entire staff were very comforting. I went in for a consultation and was helped in taking full advantage of my health insurance and deciding on the next steps to take for treatment. Two weeks later I returned for an extraction that took less than an hour from my arrival. Glad to have chosen this as my Dental office of choice.

I knew I needed a crown to repair a cracked molar. But I had been putting it off because I was not happy with the dentist I had been using who was prioritizing other treatments that didn’t make sense to me. When I met Dr. Patel for the initial check-up, it was the week when all of Georgia’s medical and dental practices were closing because of the pandemic. He made arrangements to see me prior to closing down, even though I was a new patient to his practice. I was so grateful that they showed me such courtesy during these extraordinary times. They could have easily blown me off. Anyway, he explained that my priority was definitely repairing the cracked tooth to avoid a root canal if it were to break.I just had the procedure done last week and I could not be happier. I will give a brief description of how it went. First, Dr. Patel injected the gum area with Novocaine. I have always dreaded those shots because they were always cringe-worthy. The way Dr. Patel did it, I felt nothing. It was amazing. For the first time in my life, there was zero pain, burning, or discomfort. A few minutes later, he prepared the tooth for the crown by drilling out the cracked portion of the molar. Again, no pain or discomfort. Then using computerized scanning of the remaining tooth and of my bite, a crown was made right there while I watched. In less than a 2 hour visit I had a brand new zirconia crown that fit perfectly in my mouth.With other dentists, crowns had always required 2 or 3 visits—first they made a temporary crown which took getting used to and which would be worn until the permanent crown was made. Then, once the dentist got the new crown back from the lab, the second visit was when the permanent crown was placed. For me, they never felt right and needed to be adjusted several times, and they were sometimes painful to chew on until the dentist got the fit right. All of this inconvenience and discomfort is avoided with Dr. Patel’s use of the latest in dental technology.I am so happy I found this practice. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dentist with excellent skills, the newest technology, and, best of all, a pain-free experience. Im terrified of dentist and never had a good experience with one. My tooth broke down to the gum a while ago but I was too chicken to go get it pulled. After experiencing a night of pain, I called for an appointment and got in the next morning. I usually dont write reviews, but I just had told share this experience.Courtney, the dental assistant made me feel comfortable right away with her warm smile, and her relaxed nature. She explained everything she was doing in detail, she kept checking on me throughout, and she did an awesome job on my bridge work;0. Dr Patel was EXTREMELY patient with me and often asked me how I doing during my procedures. He was very kind, gentle and caring. When he said all done, I thought he was telling me he was done numbing my mouth, but he was done pulling my tooth!!To wrap it up, Karen in the front was very friendly, knowledgeable and she was quite helpful in explaining all my insurance benefits.This is a great team and I wish them all the best for a long, successful practice. I was in pain so I needed to go, I am so glad I did 2 wks ago,Dr. Patel & his assistant Rebecca was so awesome. They were very kind, & considerate and explained step by step what they were doing, and what I needed done before they even got started, and was very patient and understanding with me. Their reassurance and honesty they gave help calm my nerves. My worse fear is the sound of the drill and pain. Needless to say Dr.Patel was awesome I felt no pain. I went here for a second opinion after I had a nightmare of a visit at Great Expressions. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Patel’s office. He is extremely honest and knowledgeable, and the staff is great too. Rebecca, was also super friendly and helpful. I’m confident the plan they recommended for me is accurate and in my best interest.

After going to the same dentist for the past 6 years, I grew tired of the long wait times, rushed cleanings/ procedures, and careless dental assessments, and started looking for a new dentist. Im so happy I decided to visit Lawrenceville Family Dental Care! From the moment that I walked into the office, every one of the staff members were extremely courteous and helpful in answering all of the questions that I had. After sitting in the waiting room for only about 2 minutes, I was taken to the back to start my care. A very thorough assessment of my gums and teeth was done in a very timely manner. After the assessment, Dr. Patel spoke with me about getting a crown placed, and explained why it was necessary. He spent time to educate me on what a crown is used for and even walked me through my own xrays. After deciding to have the procedure done, I was surprised that he was able to start the procedure that same day, and placed a temporary crown over my tooth. Dr. Patel and Courtney were both great! I didnt experience any pain during the procedure, and they were both very attentive. I was notified that my permanent crown would be ready 2 weeks from the date of my first appointment, but it was ready just under 1 week later. I just had my permanent crown placed and I can truly say that Lawrenceville Family Dental Care did an amazing job. I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends and family!

Arriving last night from Orlando I had enough of a tooth that became loose. I bit down while eating and couldnt​ take the pain. Being out of town and on a Friday I was worried I couldnt find a place to help me. I googled a local dentist not knowing what time they closed. Explaining my situation they got me an appointment for an immediate extraction 1 hour before they closed. The office was extremely clean and super nice. From the front desk to the dental assistant. Everything from meeting the dentist, who by the way was super nice and comforting! was amazing. The service was So amazing that I have decided to make Dr. Patel my general dentist for my other dental needs - driving from Orlando. Thank you to Dr. Patel and staff for making feel important on your Friday. I will see you again!!!

The best dentist office i have ever been to. The staff are all very nice and very helpful. The dentist is the best. Takes great care to make sure he is not causing you pain or discomfort. Told me exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. Highly recommend this place to everyone

He takes his time to educate and and make sure patients have a clear visual of any necessary treatment. Besides making his patients feel comfortable, he is great to his staff. I really enjoyed being educated about the procedures that I needed as well as the details of what my insurance covered and did not. This allowed me to make the best decision that fit my needs. Dr. Patel is an awesome Dentist. My whole family comes here and we all love it. Had my bi-annual cleaning today and Michelle was great at her job and made me feel comfortable. The practice is remodeling and it looks beautiful. Cant wait to see them in six months!!!

I have never in my life experienced the kind of customer service that we have received from not just Dr. Patel, but every member of his staff that we came in contact with. Everyone treated us like friends or family - everyone! Follow-up care was excellent - beyond excellent. This is, hands down, the best of the best. When my husband and I first moved to Atlanta I did as much research as I could do to find a great dentist and I know my research paid off! Dr. Patel is a wonderful dentist and person. He is very kind and makes you feel very comfortable. When I had a cavity I was devastated and he made me feel OK about it. When I went in for my filling it was quick and painless, I didnt even notice anything had been done. He is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I must also put on here that he has an amazing staff. They always make you feel welcome, and it really helps that they have a wide variety of magazines to choose from! The front desk never gives me any problems and always works with me to find a time that works. Since I was a kid, I have never liked going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to going to see Dr. Patel and his staff! I would recommend him to anyone.
