I always say, run a three across the top and fade out down to the skin. What I want is it to be bald on the sides but never has anyone cut it like I wanted. This time I said, please is a straight razor on the sides. My barber was J. He cut my hair exactly like I wanted. Ill be back and ask for K every time here on out.

I recommend Tien, at the 3rd seat, he really knows his way with scissors, which is not always the case in other places. Now that we are under COVID-19 restrictions, they are careful and implemented all the restrictions. I’m happy, and for sure will return.P.S. Damians Barbershop has the potential to be crushing it, especially in this area. Personally, I am satisfied with my haircuts from Tien. I just show a picture of what I want and he makes it happen.This place has been around a long time. Since I was a kid. If the business manager or owner is reading this, please contact me. I left my business card but Im not sure if you received it.Overall, my last two haircuts have been here. There wasnt much of a wait every time I went. I know I have a good barber when people compliment my haircut.The prices are moderate compared to barbershops close by. I personally always give 20$ for any haircut that cost either $10-15. I believe the haircut here is around 11-13$. Seniors, veterans, and children have discounts as well.I really want this place to thrive. The 5 stars are for John, he is the best. My husband started going to John since he was in high school, my husband is 50 now. John has been cutting my son’s hair since he was a toddler, my son is 14 now. Never had a problem with their haircuts. John is polite and very charismatic and we are happy to go to him. The best barber in the shop is John.

My spot as a kid going there what the original owner Damien with new owners still the same atmosphere brings back a lot of memories and I recommend. And for the quality of work that they do the price is reasonable tops other shops by far

My friend recommended this place to try. Upon arrival of this place, you will get in line and have the service instantly. But during my hair description, I don’t have any ideas what is terminology and they gave me very little consideration and consulting. As a new customer, I am super uncomfortable to go new place. They should have explained a bit more about what they are going to do

A really great old school barber shop. Most of the people working here are pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Facility could use some updating but Im sure thats part of what keeps the prices down.

My Uncle Damien use to own the shop. I remember it well. Use to help out when i was younger sweeping the floor and spending time with my Aunt June. Memories :)

Very unsatisfied. Went in it was all good and I told the person cutting my hair that i only wanted about half on inch cut off the top and they cut like 2 inches and now I look like an egg..definitely wearing my hoodie for a while 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Extremely overpriced. Absolutely no skill. Asked him to mold my beard and style it since I went months without shaving. He literally took clippers and just passed it up and down all over and shaved the edges. No scissors. Hair was all uneven. Still a mess. Absolutely no style, shape or class. I also got a haircut. I just comb it back. I didnt ask for anything special. 30$ for 10. My usual placed was closed and they spend 2x the time on my beard alone and make it look ages better for half the price. I would tell you to come here for just a simple cut but they are waaaay to overpriced even for that. Bear in mind. This is one of their barbers but I think it was the owner so all the other reviews are bs.

I will without a doubt make a trip here just for the experience and professionalism. Its been 2 weeks and I’m still trippin over the design.

Right off the bat, walked in both hairdressers were busy - which I get. No one said hello to me, no one greeted me, no one told me the wait time. I just sat down and started to wait. Havent gotten a haircut yet - might change my review until after.

Been going there since the early 1980s. After the (now previous) owners son moved way out of LA, I changed barbers to John. Nobody but I myself, has cut my hair since (35 years!). He is a pro, and LISTENS to DIRECTIONS (no I thought you meant...). Excellent barber. The others may do ok, but why mess with a good thing. John gets my vote, till he retires; then I try one of the others. Lots of customers feel the same. Sorry to the others. Very few have been there for years and years. At least the other barbers customers leave smiling. As for me, after 35 years, John is da PRO! I will use the others there only after he retires.

Gets the job done as I want it, in affordable price. Will recommend it.
