This was the best experience Ive ever had at U haul. They didnt have the pickup I reserved, they suggested the cargo van, its the same price. It actually ended up being way better than the truck. Personnel were all extremely nice, helpful and efficient. Thank you for altering my opinion of U haul. If I need to rent again I will definitely go back to this location. I am terrible with names but everyone was awesome.
So I rented a truck for 2 days. Drove it home 2 miles and parked it. The next morning I drove it 3 blocks to the storage unit I had rented. Went another 2 miles stopping at Walmart on the way home. When returning the truck that afternoon they charged me for 29miles at 79cents a mile when I couldnt have possibly gone any more than 10miles total. They are ripping people off.
When calling the number on the website, not once but twice, by two different representatives at U-Haul, they both told me that I could pay with cash to rent a cargo van and including a $100 deposit. Spent time and money to travel to the U-haul location, to be rudely told that I couldnt pay with cash. I was very specific when I told them I didnt have a credit card and they both assured me that I could pay cash! I wont EVER go back that that location again!! Absolutely unprofessional!!
Vehicle paperwork stated it had half a tank of gas. But instead it was on empty. When talking to agent before we left was told that she will adjust the fuel on paperwork. When I returned it instead of the fuel issue she charged me the safe move $42 when I told them I don’t need that service. My personal insurance will cover anything. But was charged it anyways. I will be contacting customer service today! Vehicle was dirty smell like someone hotboxed it with weed the same day it was rented out. Returning it i was scheduled for 6pm but had to wait till almost 7pm before the guy got to me. So hopefully I won’t get dinged for being equipment late.
Everyone is always so friendly and Tony always helps me figure out the least expensive options! Amazing as usual! I only use this uhaul location. Never something they cant help me with :)
This establishment is very pleasant & clean outstanding staff all of them are knowledgeable and helpful vert friendly hospitality is second to none I will definitely be using this place again plus recommend others to do so as well ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘

Staff is nice. Will not rent from this location in the future due to still being charged for gas when I went out of my way to 2 gas stations late at night, after a full day of moving, to refill the gas, only to still be charged. I am not upset about the amount, I am upset about taking my time out to do my part to have someone still lack on their end and charge me for gas anyways. I called and asked the location about it and because I did not take a photo of the gas when I dropped off the truck, their is nothing to be done. I dont want a refund, just hope in the future this doesnt happen to someone else and for a larger amount! So review it is! Lesson learned.After a few days, someone at uhaul did take the time to refund what I was charged for gas, even though I wasnt upset about the amount, I still appreciate someone taking the time to rectify their mistake. So thank uhaul. From a 2 star to a 4 for me.

From pick up to drop off great customer service. The guys at the counter were cool when I picked up. I needed to extend my reservation at the last minute and the ladies on the phone were absolutely wonderful. Very professional and understanding. Keep up the great work and thank you! This place was a nightmare. We booked online to pick up a truck and drop it in California. When we got there we were told that we could not drop the truck in California and if we wanted to do that we would need to drive to Utah and pick up a different truck, mind you when they had multiple 26 foot trucks on the lot. The store manager was super rude and unhelpful as well as condescending. I booked the reservation over a week ago and stated in the reservation that we would not be dropping the truck in Las Vegas. We called the U-Haul customer service and they magically found us a truck, when the store manager told us “there is nothing we can do”. We are already stressed and on a time restraint and the sales manger had no sympathy. I would never ever recommend this location to anyone! I’m not even sure how the sales manager is employed there with this rude behavior.
Discrepancy in amount to be billed, Cyndria a bald headed black girl that works there proceeded to call me an a hole, yell and insult me. This kind of person is a detriment to any business. I was truly amazed that a person could be so disrespectful and rude. Will not useUhaul again, there are other providers and this really was a horrible experience
The Manager was so kind and efficient, I decided to give my business to him in the future. Really a solid wonderful experience dealing with people who care. He actually put brand new tires on the 5X8 enclosed trailer for me when I asked him if the tires were in good shape. WOW! Thank you, Sir.
Made a reservation over the phone and it was booked wrong. Was told to do it myself online ... arrive to pick up the trailer and Cyndria was extremely rude. She told me that the trailer was in the lot, but they could not attach the trailer because no men are working today. When I asked her to please look for this trailer at another location - she YELLED that no other location has the size I needed (without looking) and told me to go to another Uhaul location. Called Uhaul customer service right from their parking lot to try and find another trailer, and Cyndria parked a moving van behind my car - literally blocking me in the space. You cannot make this s*** up!!! Go somewhere else!!!
Horrible cuatomer service. I tried to call 2 times and got humg up on by eother the system or the operator both times. I was semt here specifically by manager at decatir location assured they would fill my propane tank. Upon arrival they have sign on help bitton saying no propane..i walked in and approcacged an employee to ask and she promptly toldme they dont have propane...when I told her I eas semt by other location I was told they do have propane but they dont have time to help me for am hour....i specifically came here for this since ypur webaite said this service is quick and cheaper then a cyliner exchange....
The process is really fast if you do everything on line. Do not expect great customer service the guy was kind of rued. Oh well

Unbelievable attitude from customer service representative Misty. I never write bad reviews because I feel thats all people do, but this was absolutely unbelievable. I scheduled a pre-reservation and was told I would get a call back from a local representative within an hour. I asked them repeatedly to call my office number, not my personal cell phone number. Two hours later, not one, I get a missed call on my cell phone which Im unable to answer because Im at work. Then they automatically schedule my reservation time for noon without ever calling my office number. I call the local office to dispute this because I need the U haul first thing in the morning, not the middle of the day. Misty first spoke as if she was from the Valley and drew everything out, then she started interrupting me telling me her co-worker called me 15 minutes prior and left a message. I explained it was left on my cell, which I had already repeatedly asked not to call, and no one called my office. She didnt seem to hear that and just kept repeating that they called and left a message and they sent an email (which I have yet to receive). So I tell her I need to change the time. More attitude, more interrupting me, and more refusing to listen to a word Im saying. I asked to speak to someone else and said no, everyone in the building was on the phone. I asked again and she said no. Then she spoke over me AGAIN saying she would reschedule this. I told her to cancel the order because Im not going to do business with someone who speaks over their customers, has an attitude the entire time, and clearly has better things to do than her job. Unbelievable.

Had a 9 AM appointment I was being held at exactly 9 AM by a gentleman by the name of Richard Randell he was so helpful friendly and energetic!! I cant say enough about how pleasant this experience was it was very surprising as many times in the past working with moving company as they always add extra charges when you check in and additional fees. This was not the case with Richard he was upfront on all the charges and even made sure that we were getting the best Value for our money. Kudos to you half for having staff like Richard that make the experience so much easier I am happy I went with U-Haul and I will be using Richard and his services in the future if needed again. Kudos Richard !!

Made a reservation last week for today to pick up a pickup for a couple hours. Reservation was screwed up twice on the phone, then somewhat corrected. Show up at my pick up time, they have no pickups, and dont have me tagged for a reservation. The guy who was there, wanted me to drive to ANOTHER location to pick up a pickup there and bring it back to him. Then that changed. Then he wanted to give me a 10ft moving truck and charge me more for mileage. I said absolutely not. Then it was a cargo van. And had the balls to tell me to calm down and that they bend over backwards for people who are nice and dont for people who get angry. Im sorry you PHUCKED up my reservation not once but THREE times. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Never again will I use this location and Im also contacting corporate.

Months ago, I had to rent U-HAULs out of necessity (complicated story). I wasnt in the best place in life and thought spending all that money wasnt going to be a good experience, but Richard was so cool and friendly that I almost forgot what I was going through. I had the pleasure of seeing him a few times in the course of picking up and dropping off the vehicles I used and, the very last time I rented, I forgot my flash drive in the vehicle when I returned it. Richard found it and kept it safe (locked in his desk) between the time he called me and the time I was able to make my way back to pick it up (several days later). Overall, we treated each other quite well and I may just go out of my way to rent from this location again if I should ever need another U-HAUL!
A 1-star rating is undeserved. Randall the Store Manager/Owner is the rudest person Ive ever encountered in a customer service field. I went in to his location to inquire about renting a storage space. Unfortunately he didnt have a unit available in the size I was searching. He refused to assist me in my inquiry to different locations. He said We live in a 21st century, you can search online! Ive never in my life been insulted directly by simply asking for assistance. I was simply trying to explore my options in availability with other U-Haul locations, given that I was there at the moment.Do yourself a favor and dont bother with this man. He is extremely rude and clearly doesnt care about people or the business they can bring. Hes in the wrong industry and needs to realize what a HUGE impact his attitude and demeanor do for his business.

I am a huge fan of U-haul. I have used different locations in Las Vegas. The equipment is always in great working order. Unfortunately when I rented a trailer it was splashed with mud. There is a clean equipment policy that all users are supposed to obey upon return. The staff should have inspection the trailer and ask the user to wash it or either charge the user the fee. I returned it in the same condition but I was worried that I would be charged a fee for the dirty trailer. Also the sales associate charge me insurance for trailer which I was unaware of. He told me the price of the rental but did not ask for consent to charge me for the optional insurance. I did not realize till I returned the trailer during closed hours when I dropped off the invoice. I sent a review on U-Hauls website. The next day Richard called me from U-Haul to resolve my complaint. He was great and understood my concern. He resolved my problem without any hassle. I will definitely return to this location.

Worst service ever. Drop van off last Friday its been a week and now I have called all day and no one will answer the phone. It doesnt take a week to install a hitch.
I had a hitch installed on my honda minivan so I can move out of state . When I went to pack my van I noticed broken plastic pieces in the trunk. Those pieces came from my tail light. They broke it while doing the install. They tried to tap it back together. The worst part is they did say anything to me about it and acted like everything went Smith with install. To me that is not professional at all.

All I asked him is if he had newer models and he only offered me an old model. He said you can take your business elsewhere then and he handed me my id and card back. All because I asked him a question. Hes not fearful of corporate and said I cant get fired and I own this store. He then threatened to call the cops on me for checking him on his rudeness. He insulted my 7 year old and told her to mind her business. I hope U haul corporate really dissolves this issue richard randell does not deserve his management title and he will cause Uhaul to lose business with is negative attitude towards guest. Long waits. Unfriendly staff. When i was returning the truck aint just stood at the truck waiting fort me to get out and held out his hand, no words. The manager was on duty and got angry with the staff in front of me because they keep letting people steal things on the counter. Very unprofessional.
