My first experience with Floyds Rental was over the phone from 350 miles away. We were in the early stages of working on our property. Mr. Floyd was the most helpful, and treated me like I had known him all my life. My first rental was a Ride on Roller for packing our soil after some excavating. The contractor turned out to not be able to do the job, and after the contractor had picked up the equipment, I had to reverse the contract and have the equipment taken back to Floyds. He only charged me a few hours which was MORE than fair. Then in April of this year, we rented a truck for our initial move to the area and I was so pleased to find out that Floyds Rental was the location for returning the Truck and Trailer. I finally got to meet him, and his awesome employee Justin. Both of them were two of the most service oriented and friendly people we have met. Even though we were a day late returning, he did not charge me a fee, and thanked me for the business. This past month, we needed to rent a scissor lift. After the first day we picked it up, we discovered our slab was not to dimensions and we took it back the same day. He did not charge me. Today, I have completed the most critical use of the lift and I had called him to ask which day I had rented and needed to return, he told me that Wednesday would make 3 weeks, so I said, fine I will bring it back. Then he told me that for his monthly rental customers, after 3 weeks, you get the 4th week free! We will be able to keep it for another week to do necessary high work, but were going to use scaffolds. He could have just let me return it and made more money to someone else, but thats not how he operates. He is one of the most fair and beyond reasonable businessman I have ever worked with in all my life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FLOYDS RENTAL. If you have a problem, because problems happen, just talk to him, dont assume he is like others that only care about making a buck! He and his type of doing business is part of what is making this new life here in New Mexico such a great change. I look forward to more business with Floyds Rental Service.

Had a two day rental which began on veterans days. I asked if i could qualify for a veterans discount. Was rudely told no. Used a tow dolley which turned out to have a faulty left light on the highway. Returned the tow dolly and was charged extra for not returning the dolly to the original out of town location. Tried explaining I was not going to drive a dolly with a broken light on the highway. Great way to treat a disabled veteran. I will also be contacting the BBB to lodge a complaint.

Traveling from Colorado to Arizona for a vacation and our cargo trailer had a blown tire that we werent aware of the wheel was destroyed along with the axle had to have vehicle towed 45 miles...was told by tow truck driver that there were no places in Las Vegas to fix it...made a call to this place asking for help...the owner and his helper helped us out and did a great job of replacing the axle so we couforld continueour trip..

I have never had a problem with Floyds rental everyone that works there are awesome. i cant say ive ever met the lady that works there but my brother has and says she was very nice and helpful. So i give them five stars and more.

First off renting a Uhaul through them has been the biggest hastle! I reserved it online and figured I was good to go. I went in to pay them and the lady told me because I am renting online she cannot insure I will have a Uhaul on the day I need it. So she made me cancel and go through her, (she does the reservation ONLINE)!!!! SHE also said if I cancelled and went through her my price would be locked in or she may even lower it. BIG LIE! She tried to charge me $100 more. And cant forget the Governors tax, which Uhaul agents have never heard of. Its a whole $200 more. The lady who owns the place is terribly rude. She will not let you get a word in your opinion doesnt matter! She treated us like garbage! Called 800 number they said everything she was doing was wrong...Fingers crossed all goes well but so far they are terrible. Wish I had saved myself the hastle!
