Driver was rude and refused my mile and a half ride, saying it wasnt long enough. Jimmy H in cab 3737 at 2:20 pm today. 106°, he told me I could walk it. Jokes on them, Four Queens is the one who got me a cab. Now they know how customers get treated. Complaint filed with cab authority, Checker Cab looking at film. Next cab, from a different company, was great.

Driver took us to the wrong theater location--6.5 miles vs. the intended 1.5. Ended up trying Uber for the first time to get back to the hotel-- superior experience. It seems cabs will share the same fate as dinosaurs, Blockbuster, and VHS.

I typically do not review, but I just wanted to express my gratitude for the honesty of the cab driver who turned my phone in. I accidentally left my phone in the cab and had no way to track it since my data was off and the location! It was worse case scenario for me but I was very fortunate that the driver turned it in and their lost and found department helped send it back to me asap. Great service and I am so appreciative of their staff!

A Little Rude, Made me pay Up Front. Took me to the wrong Hotel, Drove the long way and tried to make me get out, I almost got in a fight with the taxi driver because he did it on purpose and Wouldnt give me my Change until I Threatened him.I told him Ive never paid Up Front for a taxi and then got drove around town to the wrong address and I was told I couldnt get my change!When I stood my ground, he gave me my change and apologized!

This yellow Cab Driver likes to flip people off, break checking in drive thru & hold up the line for no reason. This woman is bitter about her life & job. Probably because people would prefer to use Uber or Lyft where the drivers are way more professional. Instead of a middle finger like you get with Yellow, Uber drivers will give you water and let you use a charger. Who would you use?

Weve called two nights in a row for a cab and have been completely ignored I was told they had no cabs in my area why not i called over an hour ago? Two night me and my friend have been given the runaround and havent even had some body apologize some how Ive called for manager and had no result also I sent an email with no responce. I just get gave your company a second shot and you blew it.

Lyft and Uber not working out so great call and or reserve your ride online with this cab company. Online is best, ride comes on time and gives you updates. Highly recommended 👌

Ride was smooth, the elderly cab driver was polite and very interesting.Cab was waiting at 4:30 am and got us to the airport .

This is a great cab company if you are in the las Vegas area, the rates are reasonable & mostly all of the drivers are acquainted with the local fastest routes

The driver didnt want to let me out the car when I got to my destination. I paid, my car went through, and when I went to open the car, he had it locked. I asked him to open the door and he just kept asking me, if I was having fun. Luckily two females approached the taxi and asked if he was available. Thats when I started yelling for him to let me out. He noticed that the girls heard me and saw me, then finally opened the door.

They had no one available to pick me up from the M to take me back to the strip. They told me to call someone else! Crazy!

None of the cab drivers wanted to bring me home after getting out of the hospital made my way to the downtown area asking for cab rides they refused because I was black in the neighborhood that they didnt want to go in I have them live on media Dave discriminated against me in a couple of other black people I have it on the media Facebook media Tik Tok yes its a shame taxi drivers wont respect that dont give respect first come first serve basis thats what I thought this company was about you know the other taxi drivers that was driving that night

They would have got a perfect five star but since April 2nd through the 10th I took two different taxi and they drove me around for about an hour and a half and it came till about 350 dollars each time only reason why I couldnt call Uber because I didnt put money on my card yet I would have that in my pocket right now thats the only thing that disappoint me about yellow cab but I did have some great experiences about a couple of fellas that I meant theyre awesome they were worth the money the other two individuals just like thats all they wanted to do with me every time that I had and they were forceful cuz I didnt appreciate that you ask me a question I told you the answer so you tell me what you think about that

Both my drivers were great. They got me where I needed to go real fast because they knew the ins and outs of Vegas from their 20+ years of experience. They were friendly and professional. Truly an upstanding taxi service from my experience.Its old school and more pricey than an Uber or a Lyft but let me tell you, they were there when Uber and Lyft wasnt. Without them I would have been stuck at the airport. The taxi line was building up fast but Checker taxis kept coming. I have no doubt all those people got serviced quickly.Will use again.

I read a bunch of horrible reviews about this place. But since Uber and Lyft arent working on the outskirts of Vegas I had to take a chance and call a taxi to get to the airport. I had a wonderful experience. They where super nice and arrived on time.they didnt overcharge and the driver even asked permission to stop for gas so he turned off the timer so I wasnt charged extra for the time that took. Overall Im happy with it. Its more pricy than Uber or Lyft but its more reliable at the moment since they have drivers who are willing to come out to the outskirts away from the strip.

Waited over 2 hours, then cancelled. Not helpful if you have to be somewhere at a certain time.

Driver told me my ride was $27 but my bank statement shows $42.13. Customer service said I tipped him $12. That still don’t add up to $42.13. The “supervisor” laughing like something is funny! I called my bank! I wish I could give them 0 star! Next time I’ll just use Lyft or Uber.

I do like products and their prices but I wished I could give zero stars all because their staff bad behavior, mannerless, ross should check their staff behavior, their business might go rise if they keep right staff..

We will never ever use them again. Our driver turned our 2.2 mile drive into a 9.1 mile drive and when we called to file a complaint and refund, they gave us a three day runaround, including an extremely ride night manager that refused to provide his name, then provided a fake name, and then hung up on us. We finally got a partial refund because we refused to let it go that was much less than calculated because the cab company swore it was a 4.5 mile ride despite being sent the Google map route she should have taken and we were told to be grateful we got anything at all. Id rather wait hours for Uber or Lyft than to ever be subjected to this kind of treatment again. Save your money, time and frustration!!

Needed a cab. Their website was very easy to place a reservation.Had to cancel it, called up, got an agent in less than 5 minutes. So easy to deal with.

Unprofessional driver turns a 4.9 mile ride into a 15 mile ride. Starts an argument and leads to his temper tantrum. A $20 turns to a $55 fare. Contacted the company and to date received no credit. I will never use their service again.

Just left a bag in the back seat of a Star Cab and had it back within 30 minutes. Not only was the driver, David H. a hero but so was the dispatcher and the unnamed cabbie who helped us contact Star Cab dispatch...he would not accept a tip. So much love for the good guys of Las Vegas❤️🎰🎲🍀❤️🚕❤️

I have been employed here since 2015. From what I understand its the best of all the Vegas taxi companies. Everyone here is a pleasure to work with!EXCEPT for one certain rude, and condescending female that works in the front office. This person is who you would see to get an application for employment, get pay stubs, etc. Things of that nature... Shes always very rude, and snobby. I dont understand why

Wonderful service and great driver. He helped me with my daughters stroller and opened the door for us. He was polite and had a good conversation. 3rd time taking this company.You will have to have patience, but they get there by the time the lady says theyll be there.

Called a customer a cab and they were here in 3 mins. After calling another cab (deluxe taxicab) that left us hanging for 45 mins and never called, or showed up, we tried to call back and got a machine. Yellow checker star is our go to for our customers now!

Ive gotten this service three times now. They show up quick, friendly driver, and for the distance I go; a fair price. The cab is always clean and I always feel comfortable in the cab. I love this service.

This rating is strictly for their customer service for lost and found. Two weeks ago I left a wallet with credit cards, cash, AND keys in the cab - today it is being shipped to me with nothing missing! Contacting lost and found was very easy, and they were quick to stay on the phone with me while they searched for my item. Directions on how to get it back to me were clear and quickly given to me, which made the process very painless! Kudos to you guys for being great!

My iPhone XS Max was stolen. Realized I left my phone in the taxi moments after the car started to pull away. I ran after the car screaming but the driver did not stop. I then rushed to my laptop to log into Find My iPhone to force the phone to ring and send a message to turn around. I was able to track the location of the phone for a few minutes until I lost communication. I assume the driver turned it off. I called the taxi office twice using a friends phone to speak with someone. I got the same agent who was apathetic to my $1k iPhone XS Max being stolen at this point. The agent said they would put out an broadcast but there was no way to track down the driver unless I knew the taxi cab number. Im sure people leave their phones all the time, so this company clearly does not care about your personal property.

This is not a good company to work for long hours real small money a lot of stress to produce you bring in a 1000 dollars your pay check is less than 200 that doesn’t make sense to me you only survive on tips I work for this company for while nothing but stress

If the idea of the flat rate is to stop unscrupulous drivers from taking the long way to your destination, which has happened to me many times before, even after stating the route I wanted to take, then you should have it posted what the rates are. Seems I was charged the highest rate to go to the lowest rate destination. Still too many crooks working. Last time for me. From now on its Uber or any other form of transportation.

Grabbed a cab outside of Caesars Palace to take it to the Desert Blue Wyndham resort and the driver took us a crazy way that cost $22 for eight tenths of a mile drive. My brothers also got a cab from there 10 minutes before us and they were charged $8 (different company).We called the company but they said no one was available to help us and so we left a number for them to call and they havent called yet to handle our price dispute.

Just got home from avoiding a major accident with a Yellow Cab in one of the cube-like taxis, at 10:35pm, on the Koval and Harmon intersection. The cab, who was second in line, at a red light, to make a left onto Harmon decided, with no hesitation, to quickly pull out and directly in front of me, in my left lane. Had it been one more second for me to react, I would have slammed into him. The only reason I avoided it was being able to completely pull my car into the other lane, narrowly avoiding the people making a right onto Koval and probably scaring the hell out of the pedestrians on the corner, while slamming on my breaks so much I smelt burnt rubber after. Thanks, Yellow Checker Star Transportation, for the amazing drivers you employ that will gladly put others lives and property in danger because they decide they dont want to wait in line to make a left turn anymore.

Dont call they will Literally abandon you at the grocery store. I waited 1 hour and 20 min for the cab. Told him when I first got in that I need to go to 2 stores and back home. He got upset because he assumed I was going to the strip but I wasnt. He drove me to my first location and tried to leave. The driver obviously had something better to go do. He acted like he was trying to leave so I reminded him I needed round trip. I have done this before many times. He asked for a deposit and I told him to park so I would give it to him because he acted like he was trying to take the money and leave to go back in town. He really acted like he had something better to do. I know my fare would have ended up being around 40-50 but apparently he had more money to make or something. I was only going in the store for 5 minutes. I obviously needed a ride back but he didnt care he took the $8 for the fare and said he wasnt going to wait. Why would he not wait for more money I dont know. Worst I ever experienced! He toon the $8 instead of the $50 I had for him his loss!
