TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ and don’t use this company and support the business! Card machine wasn’t working. Driver followed me to ATM to get cash. ATM wasn’t working. Driver got phone number and kept calling and texting demanding I pay the entire 2.5 days I was in Vegas. Everytime I tried to pay him he would say he’s 45 mins away and kept trying to meet at different locations where I was at trying to enjoy my vacation. He took away from our 3 days of vacation time we were there trying to be hunt down to pay a fee when their machines are broken isn’t my responsibility. But being a good person I was willing to meet to pay and he kept changing the times to meet taking away from our time. Then we finally met and missed the Bellagio fountain show because his machine wasn’t working again! Was told $18 flat fee. Was charged $26 and then I refused then he changed it $24 manually because the machine didn’t work. HE TIPPED HIMSELF $15 and charged the company $3. THIS IS FRAUD. I never authorized to tip this driver $15. I attached a photo for proof. And I was so fed up I ended up paying it just so I could leave and go back to my vacation. I called the company manager and he was extremely unprofessional and rude saying that I “heard” wrong on the price and was like “what do you want $1 back” laughing like it was a joke. They don’t take paying customers serious and waste your time. This company needs to be reported to Better Business. Their taxi drivers are shady too stealing the companies money and yet the company defends them too. What a joke. Fed up mostly at the taxi driver taking away from TIME I can never get back irritating my group trying to meet up on OUR time and vacation.
Cab number 2528 just honked at me for no reason and thought it was funny what a unprofessional business this is no wonder your losing to Uber and Lyft.
I dont understand how this cab company has so many negative reviews. Ive used western cab company on multiple occasions and they are always so reliable. They have courteous drivers, always on time or even ahead of schedule. They are more responsive than other cab companies and driving apps. Definitely recommend.
Called them at 4:20 for a cab from the Las Vegas sign to the Luxor. 4:40 comes, no one’s there, so I called them and asked where the cab was. He said it’s on the way. 4:50, still no one. It is 104°, and I’m pregnant with no water. 🤬 Ended up flagging another cab down (Star LLC – thank you).

Please give Karen a raise as she is the best dispatcher ever! We were stranded and tried getting an Uber or Lyft ride back to our hotel from a restaurant. After 1.5 hrs of searching for a ride, I finally contacted Western Cab Company and Karen found a driver for us! Huge shout out to Gary, who was actually off duty but turned around and got us at Karen’s request! Our restaurant had closed at 10 pm and he picked us up at 10:45pm even though he was done for the day!! Both Karen and Gary the driver deserve a well earned raise and praise!

The worst cab I have ever took in Las Vegas. My friend forgot his phone in the cab during our trip and the cab driver only agreed to return the phone if we gave him $40 in return.When we met him to get the phone back he literally snatched money out of our hands and was very rude and disrespectful.

We were charged the incorrect amount. Told 1 amount, driver did not have me run the card myself, he got into the back seat and ran it, which I thought was very strange. Asked if they took cards, he said yes, never stated there was a 3.00 fee to use it. Called to speak w/the mgr, supposedly (Will), he was extremely unfriendly and didnt seem to care in the slightest bit. We had 6 other employees of ours have the same issue with this company on the same day. In addition, he took the long way, and completely passed our hotel, went clear around the block and then pulled into the driveway, Im sure to clock more time to increase the fare. This is a VERY shady company, I would not use them again, and strongly suggest that no one else does. I will be reporting this incident.

Feb 8,, 2021Rudest driver I have ever encountered! He was old and my husband tries to help load our very heavy bag and the driver snapped at him. He then proceeds to snap about which airport ? I tell him the airport and then he acts all arrogant because he really meant which airline . He was clearly not happy doing his job and took it out on the customers .

First, a heads up to riders, if you have a problem with this company, long-hauling is ILLEGAL, contact the Nevada Taxicab Authority and file a complaint if it happens to you.Having driven a cab for this company before, I found the company to have the worst maintained and most dangerous cabs out of any of the companies I had worked for. Drivers were fired if they complained about legitimate technical issues. Also I found the dispatch service when I needed a ride to be very slow. Id recommend any other taxicab company in Las Vegas before this one. 0 out of 5 stars IMHO, would not ride with or drive for again.

I called an hour in advance for a cab to be sent to pick up a guest at our Office location. They stated they would call before the pick up time to confirm everything. ( Customers name/where hes going) I have my call log in front of me, and there was no history of them calling me back. The man stated he did call and I assured him he did not call this number because Ive been by my phone the entire time. He began to get irritate and LOUD with me disagreeing basically saying I was a liar, and said Im not going to argue with you maam when I said I called you. He said the cab could not find our guest waiting outside the building and just left. I had to get loud back and asked for the cab to come back because hes been downstairs waiting and asking where they are. How do you expect to run a cab company and have someone on the phones with an attitude towards a paying customer?! Learn some customer service skills. Youre not a telemarketer, youre there answering phones to get cabs out and make some money for the company. This is your job security, learn some respect towards people! No wonder your rating is below 3 stars. Hire new people to answer your phones that are more compassionate and can control their anger.

Not even deserving of 1 star. Ripped off by the cab driver from the airport to our hotel. What should have been $12 was $25 - and then he added a further $3 and complained that trips less than 45 minutes are not worth his while.Absolutely disgusted. He wouldnt give his name and gave a false drivers number because he knew we were going to complain.
Superb. Driver Carlos was friendly and polite. When I forgot a bag in back seat dispatch quickly tracked down my cab and got my bag returned to within an hour. Highly recommend.
Best cab experience ever! I used their reserve feature on their web site and got a confirmation for my pick-up. The cab arrived exactly on time and the driver had to be one of the nicest people in Las Vegas. The drivers name is Coleen and I will always use Western Cab and request Coleen as my driver of choice in the future.
I have multiple sclerosis I cannot be in The heat. It is 120 degrees, and I told the driver I have a chronic illness I need a ride across from Treasure Island to the Venetian. He tells me I should just walk and I am wasting his time to just take me across the street. I had tried to walk I had walked for a minute and almost passed out so... no I cannot JUST walk across the street. If this company hires drivers like this then they’re horrible.

The cab driver was actually very nice, but the dispatcher was a total jerk. My cell phone fell out of my pocket when I was getting out. I realized it immediately and tried to call to get it back my phone had been turned off and all I got from this cab company was the runaround...literally run around - told that the cab number on the receipt wasnt the right cab number and go to hotel security to look at the tape, did that and called back - told to call again in 30 minutes just to be told neither driver from the tape or the receipt had been to the hotel all day. Right.

Cab ride from airport to Venitian Hotel was $17 last Thursday. Monday Oct 28 from Venitian to airport was $36. Cab number 264 driver said he had to go the long way due to construction on Paradise bl. That was a lot and a scam. I was over charged by a dishonest driver.

I left my small size tote bag in trunk since the driver helped me to pick my luggage and didnt bring the bag out. Dont they usually check all belongings in car?I had a receipt card from the driver but theres nothing useful information (no cab number). What is the point of using this??And then I thought the driver is nice enough to return my bag but after I waited for 2 days didnt hear back anything back from them. Sarcastically When I filed the lost and found online its saying they will get back to me in 24 hrs.Called them couple times and finally got connected, they are so sure that if anything left in car the driver would return! Extremely wreckless driver in car 64! Cut across 3 lanes on a left hand turn and almost hit our brand new $45k car. Then proceeded to swerve in and out of traffic including passing cars in the turning lane at high rates of speed, appeared to be drunk or on some type of drugs. Called the company and they could have cared less!
Wouldnt get a cab from this company considering you get 10 minutes of hold when you call midday on a friday? Their drivers i consistently see driving recklessly speeding and weaving thru traffic when they have no fare as well.
Horrible service. Our driver Arth Bell cab # 8 was the WORST. Im traveling with my 86 year old mom and 53 year aunt. Once he arrived he was mouthy giving orders and rushing my mom. He came just short of touching to force her to move faster. Upon arrival to the airport he says grab your bags all 8 of them. I took all bags out and while doing so I had coats in my left hand. He says I need you to sign in the middle of me removing bags from the trunk. I replied Im left handed Ill sign soon as I put these coats down. He said no Ill put an X on the signature. Just pla rude. His smart mouth will not benefit him nor get him anywhere fast.
BEWARE! Have taken taxis and Uber’s between the World Market Center and the Marriott at 325 Convention Center Drive many times. Uber is around $10. Taxis have been $16 approximately. Western Taxi 275 really took us for a ride. He took us way out of our way on a big loop like no other ride service and charged us $22.00. This is why we normally use Uber unless forced to take a taxi.
I was taken for a ride by someone associated with this company! I received a priority mail envelope on Saturday with a great big check in it! Wow, I thought! Took it to my bank today and was told that the whole thing is a scam, which is why I took it there to begin with. Nobody ever sends me a check that big! Worst thing about this is the fact that the check is from a company that is located in a totally different city and state! Have no time for jerks like this and hopefully they WILL be charged!
Was 30 minutes late. Cab driver asked us to gps the route for him, using our data. We gave directions the whole route and he still missed the exit, causing a longer detour, adding more money. Pulled into the wrong parking area, and continued to run the metre. When we finally arrived at the correct area, he left the metre on while unloading, even after taking double the time to get us there. A short cab ride turned into a long, expensive one. Would not recommend.

Got in the cab at the airport and almost immediately saw we were getting scammed. She took 10 miles to go to the strip (less than 4 miles away). Paid a total of $45 for a trip that has cost $16 with other drivers. I paid it because I was with my daughter and I just wanted to get out of there. Kept the reciept so I could call about it later.
I waited about an hour after being advised i would only be waiting 10-45 min. So after waiting i called them back to see what was taking soo long and the dispatcher tells me that i never called them and set up a cab for pick up and that she just got on shift! So i tell her if you just got on shift then how would you know if i called or not!?? That obviously means i spoke with the agent that was on shift prior to you coming on shift! The dumb ass lady tells me i couldnt have spoken to anyone else because she is the ONLY dispatcher there! Which made no sense! Honestly the worst company i have ever dealt with. I just hung up on her!
I’ve stayed at the Wynn for the 13 years they have been open, so when I grabbed a cab at their Tower Suites cab line, I knew I was getting ripped off when he went right to the hwy instead of left on the back roads. I protested. The driver then told me that there was too much traffic on the short route. My other siblings took the next cab (different service) behind me in line and even with our 3 minute head start they beat us to the airport and paid half of what I paid, going the short route.The driver then claimed my cc didn’t go through, but fortunately I used my AmEx and the charge posted immediately to my phone. I told him I was not overpaying him twice and that he is a crook. To add insult to this situation, they have tried to bill my cc a second time today (24 hours later) and I’ve opened an investigation (not a dispute, an investigation) with America Express, who then has blocked Western Cab Company from ever charging my card again.The Delta agent at the curbside drop-off overheard the entire exchange with the driver and commented to me once I shut the door on this crook, “They’re the worst of the cabs out here. You’re not the first person I’ve seen getting upset with these guys. I’d watch your cc bill.” And she was right.
They hang up the phone abruptly because I delayed 10 seconds looking for the address, and because I asked if by the way they have someone who can speak in Spanish. Is impressive how they can be so rude because of that reason, being at Las Vegas. I think they should work in another industry, or move from Las Vegas.

4/22 at 2:55pm from the Airport to Aria Cab #0222 he was driving reckless most of the time between two lanes. We almost got in accident. Not only that but he long hauled us normally 3.9 miles he drove us all over 8.5 miles and over charged. Driver Name is Mesele Driver number is 19910. I called the taxi authority and the company. The company kept says call back manager Mark is not there. Try Monday at 8am. I feel really cheated. I would suggest to stay away from these cabs especially when you get in the taxi cue at the airport.
Cab driver charged me $25 for what I found out was supposed to be a $12 ride as per dispatcher and manager. Actually saw the driver constantly touching the meter and increasing the amount. Spoke to manager and was told I would get a refund of the difference but nothing yet. Im sure this is done a lot so beware.
This is somewhat belated because I have been traveling since mid March. While in Las Vegas specifically on March 25th I rode in a cab I believe numbered 1437 driven by Sandra Haynes Gillespie from the Mirage where she picked us up to Ballys where she took us.I just want you to know that she was the most professional and most pleasant cab driver not to mention the best driver Ive ever had the experience of being with.She was an absolute sweetheart and you need to thank your lucky stars she is employed by you:)I hope she receives some kind of recognition for her exemplary work!Shirley Hopkins from Seattle, WA.
I can’t believe it!!! Called for a cab at Dino’s and gave the dispatcher the address, cross street and the it was “north of the strip”. No cab for 30 minutes. Called back and they said the messed up. Waited another 30 and got Uber in 5 minutes. Never saw the cab after an hour or a call. I have always taken a cab, good thing my son was there to talk me into Uber. I will be taking Uber from here on out.
Our cab driver insisted that going down the strip on a Saturday afternoon was the quickest way to our appointment. We asked if there were better alternatives, he said no. We eventually get to a road closure & have to detour. 40 mins later & $40 later we just asked to get out & walked the rest of the way tonor destination & missed half of our tour. Changed to Lyft for the rest of our trip.
We are currently tourists in Las Vegas for a couple of days. Because we didnt feel like driving to our destination,we took a cab from our hotel to pinball hall of fame and our driver took a extensively long route to our destination to excavate our meter. Since he took a long route,we were charged a bogus $3.00 voucher automatically which is completely unnecessary and just a waste of our cash. Long story short,we were deprived of some cash due to a extensive drive.
I went with this company to the airport, It cost $ 11, I gave the driver $100 and told him to take $ 14 including tip, the driver gave me change, I began to count my change and he fled without waiting when the door of the cab is still open, after I finished counting I realized that he It took me $ 21 instead of $ 14. If i could give this company 0 stars, i would. Iam currently sitting at a location less than 1 mile away from western cabs main building. I have been waiting for a taxi to arrive for the last TWO and a half HOURS. I have called this company FOUR times inquiring about my ride, and each time i was assured that a driver was nearly at my location. The employee who answered the phone EVERY time i called was EXTREMELY rude and obnoxious throughout the duration of our conversation.. which was very short, because he HUNG UP ON ME after yelling at me to call another cab company once i had had enough of his poor attitude and asked for his name. He answered my first call at 5:35PM and proceeded to embarass/shame the Western Cab name until i finally gave up and called A CAB TAXI company to come pick me up at 7PM instead. If you want to be treated with disrespect, if you want to be hung up on, if you want to be talked down to AND if you would enjoy WAITING FOR OVER TWO HOURS for your cab to arrive, i would highly recommend using WESTERN CAB as your primary taxi service. However, if you prefer NOT to deal with RUDE EMPLOYEES and the absolute WORST customer service available in Las Vegas, -do not- make the mistake of calling western cabs idiotic dispatcher for a ride. I will never take a taxi again in Vegas. BOTH times I grabbed one instead of Uber/Lyft the car was filthy and stank, the driver was crabby and uncommunicative, and the driving was flinging me around in the back seat. I do not recommend Western Cab Company. A group of us took a much needed trip to Vegas. Instead of taking an Uber or Lyft, we took a cab to the Strip. The cab driver, Thompson, appeared polite. He is an older guy with a blonde ponytail. He asked the usual question of where we were going. After a minute of being in the cab, he began going on a political tangent along with talking about how awful Hawaii was. The conversation became aggressive and unsafe. In addition, Thompson took us in a detour to the hotel which raked up an additional $7 dollars more. I tried numerous times to contact Western Cab Company of my experience, but I stayed on hold for over 10 minutes each time. Again, I highly recommend not using Western Cab Company, the poor reviews speaks for itself!

Got long hauled from the airport to the Bellagio. Called the driver out on it within seconds of his decision (he did not give us an option, or explain any traffic-related issue) to jump on the interstate. After he was called out, he tried to say the surface streets would be packed because it was a holiday weekend (1p on Friday before Labor Day). He dropped us off at the side entrance of the Bellagio where there was no staff around to confront him. Waze app confirmed that time from airport to Bellagio was only 9 minutes.Cab #200.

Arrived at airport headed to MGM Signature. Cab driver took me out to highway 15 which I questioned him about. First he said there was a serious accident on Swenson Street Exit, which turned out to be a total lie. There was no accident. I continued to ask him questions about this accident and he quickly turned his answers into this is the way he always goes. The drive cost me $30 which always costs around $15 MAX (including a fair tip). I commented to the staff at Signature about this and they said they have heard that Western Cab Company has been pulling a fast one on customers. So when your turn comes up to get into a cab...DONT GO WITH WESTERN CAB wait for another company...a honest one!
Re: the operators question what are the major crossstreets? A cab company should either 1. know them, because that is the job of a cab company, or 2. look them up, because thats probably something a cab company should know how to do. What they should NOT do is: while someone is looking those streets up, by request, say call back when you have all your information and hang up on you. This is the type of behavior that is putting cab companies out of business in favor of Uber and Lyft.
