We took the cab from airport to the hotel. My daughter unfortunately left her purse in the cab. And we had to call and have the phone shut off. Both people on the phone were helpful and helped return the purse to me.. The driver returned our belongings at the end of his shift with phone money charger still in the purse. I really want to extend my gratefulness to Desert cab and the driver for being good to us.

Terrible service. Dude couldnt wait 10 minutes for me to go into a store and make my purchase. I told him i would be back in a few minutes and my wife stayed in the cab while i ran in. Within a few minutes hes freaking out because his shift is supposed too be over so my wife had too come into the store to get me and i had to leave without making my purchase. He was threatening to leave us there if we didnt leave right then. It was the whole reason i got the cab in the first place. Then after he drives us back from the store like a maniac he has the tenacity to ask why i didnt tip him. I just walked away. He wants a tip after threatening to strand us. The whole trip was a total waste and cost me 23.50 for a 3 mile round trip. Why would you pick up a fare if its ten minutes from when your off? Never use this company

My Daughter in law lost her phone in Las Vegas. A call to Desert Cab and the phone was recovered several days later... it was returned happily... It just goes to show you not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

I left my backpack in this cab when departing at airport. I called them and reported, received my pack, laptop and all belongings after they found it. Kudos to driver and office staff for integrity and customer care. Always use them when in Vegas!!!!

As a frequent business traveler, I depend on taxi service very often. I prefer the services provided by taxis to Uber. After trying several companies when I moved to Las Vegas, I have found the one I will use consistently in Desert Cab. It’s super easy to make a reservation online or the mobile app. They are highly reliable and always come on time or early. The cars are clean and professional and the drivers are amazing and so attentive! Excellent customer service and reliability.

I got service in 20-30 minutes. Driver was a nice person. All taxis have same charge. Expensive travel.

We took alot of cabs during this week, and this cab company got about half of our service. Few complaints. 2 drivers said no after pulling up and finding out location of where we wanted to go(another hotel) and left. 2 drivers went out of their way to make sure the fair was more then needed to be, and they made it very obvious and my daughter was scared the whole ride do to his reckless driving and the smell. but we also had 3 drivers that did an amazing job. Fair was reasonable, drivers were friendly, and you felt comfortable being in the cab. Their cab was clean. Other 4 not so much.

I have had the worst experience I have ever had in my 30+ years of traveling with this company. The Taxidriver used his excuse that his debit card reader was broken and wanted cash only. Then he was looking to get paid $10 more than what a normal cost would have been. When I went back to the hotel to get perhaps another driver. He sat outside and would not move so that the cab company would not send another cab in an attempt to force me hostage to use his service or risk being late for my flight.

I love theres a flat fee 27 dollars from and to airport to anywhere

If you can get one from the airport, theyre GREAT!! Calling to request one, not so much. But getting us from the airport to the hotel was a breeze and not too expensive compared to Lyft or Uber.

Ride was fine but the driver was not handicap friendly!

I am disabled and have been waiting for a handicap taxi for over 1 1/2 hours. It still hasnt shown up yet. Im hot hungry and tired but have no choice to wait.

Uber has been harder and harder to get recently in Vegas. This company was very accommodating and picked up 6 of us within a half hour. The driver was friendly and funny! And it was about a 1/3rd of the price an Uber was gona change us!

The hiring lady named Tony is very unprofessional and Rude. I dont believe she deserve to be in the place she is because shes not there to help people but to give misinformation to people who already have a hard time with English. She doesnt bring good quality to the company in my eyes. Should be fired and give her job to many people who are there to do what they are supposed to do.

Awful! 2 hour wait time and driver didn’t show. Had to pay a local to get to the airport on time for flight. You will get there faster by walking.

Just waited like 3 hours for them not to even show up and they wonder why uber and Lyft are taking over. We even asked a cab driver if we could get a ride he said no because of where we went from now on its uber for me.

Desert Cab is a very good taxi company with a professional and efficient call automatic voice reply service, that includes a texting option to inform you when the driver is getting near to your pick-up location.

Rude, dismissive, and overall poor customer service. If u had not purchased a vehicle from this company in the past I would not have any expectations whatsoever. I had cash in hand and was not taken seriously. Not sure Id it was due to my being a woman or the fact that the person up front was just a rude, condescending individual. Later I received a message to call back on Monday. Once again a case of someone prejidging a woman of color. The only reason I was there was a prior car buying experience that was pleasant and successful.

Prices were not too bad and very courteous drivers. And even though the recording says it may be over an hour wait (during peak times), I never had to wait for more than 20 minutes.

I work for Area 15 and our guest request cabs often every time Ive called desert cabs they come in a timely manner within 5-10 mins. Thanks guys! Happy customer here

He took us to our destination fast and safe!

They overcharged us 3xs the cost to get to the airport. My husband paid in cash to the driver while I was paying with my credit card. The driver claimed he stopped the payment on my card from going through. But when we got home, my bank account had been charged 2xs. I contacted my bank who told me try and get my refund through them. The cab driver claimed to not recall the incident because 13 days had went by. I was told to go back to my bank to get refunded. Shady part the cab driver never gave us a receipt. I told the driver when we were there to give my husband back the cash since it charged my card. The driver claimed it didnt charge my card since he stopped the transaction. I will never conduct business with this company again. Well be back in Vegas in August. Ill ensure we do not use Desert Cab service.

Some of the drivers will not pick you up if you need to go from the east side to the north only because theyd rather pick up a person to take them to the airport so they can pick up somebody from the airport and drop them off theyre all about short distances rather than taking a person to where thay really need to go

John the handicapped ♿ van driver was awesome great guy ask for him if need handicapped taxi my handicapped van broke down only bad thing dispatch made me wait 4 hours but John gave personal number he was best

They charge fix rate for airport and it is crazy expensive. If they open meter, it will be 8-9 USD but they charge 19 USD fix rate. Always use Uber or Lyft for airport.

#4461 Frantz is amazing and friendly and very timely. He drove quickly yet safely. Thank you for the air conditioning and taking the most direct route. During this COVID-19 pandemic we felt safe as Frantz wore his mask the entire drive. Last minute pgone call he was there within minutes!

Cut off 4 cars (nearly crashing twice), ran 3 different stop signs, and his dashboard was lit up with maintenance and service needed lights like a christmas tree. He was speeding and i dont think his ac worked either. I understand that he was trying to move quickly but your customer’s safety should come first and foremost! We rode in a 4 door sedan taxi from cesaers palace to new york new york

We called Desert Cabs at 4.55am in a panic because Uber wasnt responding. I didnt make a note of his name, but our driver arrived within 20 minutes and got us to the airport on time and it cost about the same as the Uber XL(5). Thank you!

I called to schedule a cab from the Vegas airport and although the dispatcher was very friendly and said a cab was on the way, the driver called shortly thereafter and said plenty of cabs were already at the airport and it was a waste of his time to drive all the way out there.....so we Ubered.

After struggling with Uber I finally just googled a cab and I found desert cab, they were happy to pick us up, arrived in under 5 minutes, the gentlemen named Marc Cramer. He was fabulous, carried a great conversation and welcomed us to Las Vegas the proper way.

I applied for this company to be a cab driver . During the interview I was told by one of the recruiters that He only hired drivers who long hauled passengers back and forth the airport thats why you see the numbers shown at the Taxi Authority higher in the revenue that every cab driver makes in Vegas . Taxi Authority knows about it but doesnt force this company to act honestly in the Transportation business. I would suggest new drivers to take a chance with Henderson Cab or Witheslea. They are trained properly to be more professional in this kind of business

I dont know if these guys understand that people can see the route to take. My driver not only drove like he stole his car, made the 4 mile route into a 12 mile one, taking us on a tour of the city. $15 ride cost over $44 and he didnt take the correct route to the hotel drop off.

It’s no wonder cabs are going out of business with con artists like this one employs. Even though rides from the airport are flat rate, my driver ran the meter and charged me that amount. I was overcharged by over $10. I will never ride in a taxi again. I’d expect to get scammed in most countries, but not the USA. Take an Uber, avoid this company at all costs

Drove my fair up. Said we were 15 mins away, when i said My GPS says 5 he made the immediate next turn and didnt say another word. When I got out I still tipped him $2 on a $10 ride and I was charged $5 more somehow. I feel no empathy for uber stealing your jobs now, tech ftw.

Driver was pretty rough. maybe it was the end of a long shift. Maybe that just comes with living in Vegas. I don’t know.Took a ride from the strip to the airport. He spent the majority of the ride telling me that he only likes Americans and that tourists need to understand American culture or don’t come here. These are probably thoughts you should keep to yourself given you drive a taxi in a city where most of the money comes from out of state / country.Having to unload my luggage at the end of the trip was a ice touch buddy.For those reading this and wondering I did tip him as it’s in my nature. 30%.

I routinely use taxis to travel from McCarran Airport to Caesars Palace hotel.The cost is consistently between $13 to $15 per one way trip. Desert Cab charged me $31.50 for the trip. Driver would not listen to me when I told him to stay off of the interstate. He kept trying to drive up meter cost by riding around. This driver was trying to rip-off some dollars. I normally tip generously but not on this trip.

I was in the back of the complex and the lady told me the physical address I thought maybe they could pick me up apartments. Because I was taking too long to get the address she hung up on me. She was rude to begin with and this Call was made on October 16th at 4:20 a.m.. l will never use this company again and make sure my friends dont use it and when Im on the strip make sure nobody uses it there either.

Total rip off! Will be calling the the transport authority! I was in the 3rd cab, my two friends took the two in front of me. Now each of them, paid $17 and change for a ride from the Encore Tower Suites to the Airport. My ride came to over $35.49, when I questioned the driver he spoke no English and shrubbed his shoulders. I took a picture of the screen for my records. Simply a disgrace to take total advantage of folks by more than doubling the normal fare. Mind you I left at 8:30 am, not a soul on the roads in Vegas! Do not do business with this company!
