I had them make a wedding ring for me. It was such a wonderful experience all the way through the process. They really listen to what I wanted for the design…but when I was not 100% sure they offered some great artistic suggestions. The staff are super helpful, kind, and dedicated to getting you what you want.I had a few changes after I saw the wax molds and they were so receptive to what I wanted and even called to clarify some of the notes they took when I was there in person.I am so happy with my ring that we are getting my husband a ring made there too.I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality work form dedicated people that have an amazing passion for what they do!

I had a beautiful princes cut diamond wedding ring and 2 x smaller diamonds were falling out and I was scared to even wear my ring because I was worried more would fall out. Per a friend’s recommendation, I brought my ring in to Rich’s. I knew myself it was because of the type of setting. So it was decided to re-do my ring almost exactly except a little thicker with more gold in between the rows of smaller diamonds on the side. Today I picked up my ring and be any happier. I don’t write many reviews but this one is much deserving. I am super grateful to have stumbled upon Rich and Aaron.Here is my story: I bought a loose diamond online and had a beautiful ring setting custom made for me overseas. I was so excited to have my diamond set. I did a quick search on Yelp the second I received it and was so happy that a local jeweler (Jeweler A) nearby could set it for $100 and it would be done a few days later. I went to Jeweler A and found out that, unfortunately for me, the hidden halo was made over 1mm too short in length. My diamond wouldn’t fit. They said the only way for it to work is if they ordered a new head for around $400-500 and my halo would be gone also. The owner’s nephew told me that his uncle had 15 years of experience and to trust him. I left the store to get some more opinions.Jeweler B told me that if someone said they can get the diamond to fit, they are going to mess up the ring and it wouldn’t look good. I think they quoted me around $900 for a new head with hidden halo.Jeweler C.. these women were not very kind. They told me, “This is why you buy local.” “There is no way to make this work. It is never going to fit.” “Look at these plain settings you can get for $400.” (Btw, my setting cost half of that and had lots of details with hidden stones.) “To get a new setting made exactly the same will cost you around $2000, but it is an investment that will last you forever.”I walked out and went to my new appointment at Rich’s Custom Jewelry.At this point I just lost all hope. I have already accepted the worst. I knew the diamond wouldn’t fit. I knew I would be spending a lot of money. I knew the head would probably need to be replaced or I would have to buy a new setting. Rich’s shop was the smallest out of all of them.I sat down and spoke with Aaron and was not excited about my ring anymore. I kind of was just in a terrible, disappointing mood. Aaron stepped in the back to talk to Rich about it and he comes back and says, “If there’s a will…” and told me that for around $500 they can set MY diamond into MY setting by shaving off some of the gold on the inside of the halo and adding gold on the prongs so that it would fit around the stone properly. I was so thrilled. It was the best answer/solution I had. I jumped at it and he told me it would be done in 2-3 weeks.I honestly didn’t have much faith in the process. I kept thinking my ring was going to look weird when I picked it up. I was sooo happy when I received a text ONE WEEK later telling me my ring was done. I made the next appointment and drove straight there to pick it up. It was BEAUTIFUL! The ring looks so perfect. You cannot tell that any extra work was done to the ring. Rich stepped out to talk to me and told me that it wasn’t easy and he wouldn’t allow an apprentice to do it. Only himself.OMG, I am so happy! Please trust Rich with your jewelry. I would highly recommend him and will continue trusting them to service my jewelry. They did the impossible. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I entrusted Rich Custom Jewelry to create 6 custom cremation pieces.. Went in with a vision of what I wanted made, had to be waterproof, how I wanted my moms jewels from her old pieces distributed into each piece. Was treated with the utmost respect, as well kind hearted with the project they were about to do for me. We discussed my vision, notes were taken, moms old jewelry left in their care. A few days later I was asked to come in and approve wax molds. I was not completely happy with mold of what was to become 2 pieces. They explained that with the amount of diamonds being placed that was how it had to be. My vision was not there for the piece because of limited space. I told them if that was the best they could do, then go forward. Once I got the call to do final approval of 1st piece, I couldnt wait to get there. I walked in, he sat me down and presented me with exactly what I envisioned. My eyes welled up, I couldnt see anything else. The Jeweler designing my piece yelled back to Rich We got it!. I was staring at disbelief and asked how and why he changed from Original Wax. His response, it was not your vision, not what you wanted, so we made it work to your vision. He told me to turn the piece over and look at the back. Without me asking he went a step further and engraved the tatoo from my shoulder onto the back of my piece. I LOVE that he added that secret extra touch to a piece that means the world to me. They followed my direction on every piece to not polish out makers marks, take off burrs or imperfections. I told him none if us kids were perfect, we each had imperfections and sometimes rough around the edges. Each piece tarnishes/wears different, the same as moms kids do.I, and my family wear our piece with love, keeping Mom always close. I receive beautiful comments on my pendant always. To see eyes advert to it warms my heart. Honestly I have had 2 people that I had never met tell me they knew the piece was VERY SPECIAL and so was MOM.I have referred a few people to Rich. The most recent just lost her Grandma (Nan) to Covid. She knew about my piece, and after her Nan passed just asked me to give her info to my Jeweler.Anyone considering SPECIAL Pieces, custom pieces, I do not hesitate to give you Rich as my Only Jeweler.

Literally half the price of the quotes I was given. They were super nice and straightforward and it was so easy! I was originally given an heirloom engagement ring from my husband. The band was very thin and fragile and we went in to get a replica made. They did a replica as well as a custom wedding band. I had some old gold and random diamond jewelry at home that I was able to put towards the purchase. They did an excellent job of communicating with me to make sure they made the ring the way I wanted it. They pay attention to detail on custom jobs and make sure you are happy every step of the way. We are very pleased with the purchase and they had an appraisal ready when we picked up the ring so we could have the ring insured.

Have known about this jeweler for years and finally had a reason to give them a try. Recently got my grandfathers Bartenders Hall Of Fame ring he received in 1988 and and it was in serious need of some maintenance. Some of the paint on the ring was missing and it was very dirty. The woman (forgot her name sorry) running the store was very cool and pro. Got it back before the day the 3 week quote and am very happy. Looks almost new. Great price of $59. They are bespoke silversmiths who embrace CNC, laser and 3D printing technology to craft one-off custom pieces blending old world skills with hi-tech approaches.I had a silver bracelet that needed scratches buffed out and they did an amazing job. They then took the time to generously recommend best-practice methods to protect silver jewelry when not in use.It is inspiring to look at case after case of jewelry and realize that it was made on-site in their shop.Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Rich Custom Jewelry! I have been there several times. One experience I had was back I think in 2007 I left a gold chain there to get fixed. Since I didnt work on that side of town anymore. It was difficult for me to get there our hours were the same. I truly thought I lost it.
