Me and my husband are having a great time working out and utilizing all the facilities at Lifetime. It is expensive, but if you use it and enjoy it, theres no comparing to a gym.. worth it.
The explanation they call it Lifetime is on the grounds that you will need to go here for the remainder of your lifetime. I would never become accustomed to some other rec center after this one. The offices are wonderful and the educators are first rate. You get such a lot of help. It will transform you in the event that you join! The customers are really cordial as well. Worth each penny!
You may think this gym is small but its really big. It has rock climbing, tons of equipment, pool, and much more! Very happy its in Summerlin.
Even though members pay $170 a month they REFUSE to put good quality basketballs on the court. I stead they hide nearly 30 nice basketballs under lock and key and let members just suffer with terrible basketballs. It’s SICK!!!! This is a PREMIUM CLUB give members nice basketballs to use. If one or two gets stolen by some who cares your primary goal should be that each member has the best experience possible. Thanks again as tonight was a terrible experience on BAsketball available was this
I love this gym, the classes are amazing quality. I had an exceptionally good experience with the account manager, Jasmine. She has helped me with my account as I was a LT member in Phx but visiting Vegas back and forth the entire summer. She remembered me from a few weeks ago, and helped me so many times with account questions and payment options. She is warm and friendly and gained my trust immediately. I had a great experience at this location 😃
Solid gym but relatively very expensive. Unless you are taking the classes OR going 5 times a week its not worth the money. Joanne, Brian, and Alfredo all do amazing classes though. Just wish I had time to go to them more often. If you can go to their classes regularly then it is worth the cost for sure.
The reason they call it Lifetime is because you will want to go here for the rest of your lifetime. I could never get used to any other gym after this one. The facilities are beautiful and the instructors are top notch. You get so much support. It will change your life if you join! The clients are super friendly too. Worth every penny!
Love this place. They keep the place clean and I love Most if the classes. My favorite classes are barbell strength and strictly strength.
The most amazing gym Ive ever been to in my entire life of 50 years. The amenities are first class, the customer service is excellent. Theres always someone to help if you have any questions or requests.I play racquetball and they have squash courts but allow racquetball on them. Two full size basketball courts, 4 squash courts, a 4 story rock climbing wall, two heated indoor pools, one 80°,one 88°, the outside pool 85°.The mens locker room blew my mind. Each sink has razors, shaving cream, lotion. Showers are closed in for privacy and have shampoo and conditioner. Theres Private lockers with 4 digit combination locks for security.Honestly, at $179/mo. and no contract, cancel anytime with a 30 day notice. They will even freeze your account if you are traveling out of town for vacation or business trip.Edward Wake signed me up. The absolutely best sales tour Ive ever been on. Hes awesome, he explained everything thoroughly. At the end I asked if I could go next door to Red Rock casino and eat dinner and think about it . So he told absolutely, no worries, he sent a link to my email where I could sign and pay later that night. What he didnt know is he already sold me on the gym . I just wanted him to sweat a little. 😀I eould highly recommend this location, you wont be disappointed.
Really nice! I wish beverages were readily available or allowed to be brought in. This is Vegas, I cant get enough water.
This is the place a chose to recharge my energy, also to relaxing and jump in the pool ❤️
Awesome gym. Lots of equipment. No nonsense.
Solid club but a couple of gripes that have me questioning the value of a $160/mo membership fee. First, machines needing maintenance are unusable for months at a time. For a busy gym with a limited amount of benches, this is a huge dealbreaker. Second, most fitness classes require their own membership (on top of the club $160): I want to try Pilates, HIIT, etc., but doing so would cost me upwards of $500 per month. I would definitely be more active at the club if most fitness classes were included in the membership, or maybe bumping up dues by $50 to include all fitness classes. Lastly, lately, soap, fresh towels, and cleaning wipes are not replenished regularly.
L❤ve LifeTime it is a Fantastic Gym with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Weve currently been training with Sherri and she is kicking our A.S.S.E.S!!!! (All based on our level and safely, of course) I highly recommend this gym!🤗 and did I mention all the amenities, so many amenities! There are some that you have to pay for like the spa and little café but well worth it❤🐛
Been there on guest passes. The gym is spectacular and the pool area is great. There is literally no piece of equipment they DONT have! Great place to workout! (Locker room smelled a bit, but still great.)
Visited the cafe & grabbed a body builder shake, waiting for my homegurl to get off work. Love the Cafe staff. Not too sure I am satisfied yet with the initiative of thee entire team, but we shall see .. day-to-day
Wow, what a horrible experience. And it is not the facility - the facility is fine. And not the stuff. But it is SO CROWDED! Lots, and I mean - LOTS of children! In the pool, in the changeroom! Lots of people. Otherwise the facility is average - definitely no better than 24 hour fitness, somewhat cleaner than EoS. If it was the same price, I would say ok, sure, but at 180 dollars a month?! Are you kidding me?? I could not even find a lane in the pool to swim! Most machines were taken. Changeroom was full of children. This is early afternoon on a weekday! What is going on there on a weekend? Glad it was a free pass, and never coming back again. Not even close!
Came in as a guest, this gym is awesome. So much to do here.
Expensive but worth it. Im obsessed with the eucalyptus steam room. Classes are great. Plenty of equipment. Love the indoor and outdoor pool. Outdoor pool has a happy hour! Lol. So convenient having the hair, nails and massage there. AlsoLife cafe after a workout is the best !
My most favorite place for many many years . I have worked out in 5 Life Time clubs around the country due to living and travelling so far. They all are the top quality, best customer service, best equipments... you name it they have it. Highly recommend. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing in our life. Life time sure is the best place to do that
Great place, everyone is super friendly and it’s got everything you could ask for to have a great workout. It doesn’t have tennis courts though, but it does have squash courts 🤷♀️. The studios have amazing views of the mountains, with lots of light, love to work out there. It even has a big area for alpha training and a climbing wall, although it’s open mostly in the afternoons, which is a bummer for those who workout in the morning.Parking is a bit annoying, there’s a structure across the street.
One of my favorite places of all time
Its understandable that Life Time Athletic is all about cost-effectiveness. After all, theyre a publicly traded (LTM) and responsible to their stockholders. Nonetheless, the question that begs to answer is; where do responsibility to shareholders end and accountability to the consumer begin, and vice versa? The way I see it, the clientele that pays the electric bill deserves at least, if not more, attention as do the stockholders. What aggravates me as a paying ($229.00 monthly) customer is discourteous, and unprofessional staff that never learned, or werent trained, to effectually communicate. I for one, expect the people that run the place to appreciate the customer and to treat them with a modicum of respect. When this doesnt occur, I draw the line and pack my gym bag and move to the next sandbox. I saw this happening every day at Life Time Athletic, Summerlin, Nevada. To make matters worse, for months I listened while a revolving door of underpaid and underappreciated staff came and went. A publicly traded company should be cognizant of the deleterious effect on patrons watching a never-ending procession of employees come and go.A brief synapses: We had previously brought our daughter as a guest four times within the past few weeks. Nine months earlier the salesman told me we could use our 12 guest passes when and with whomever we wanted. Having never been questioned by staff, how could we know that within the Life Time website they disallowed anyone from bringing in the same guest more than once in a 60-day period. This particular provision is not in the signed contract, as Kevin Siegel, Regional West Coast Manager admitted to my daughter and her friend before he brusquely asked them to leave the premises. When I sat with Mr. Siegel, he informed me with a snide, and condescending manner that we could make up the rules as we see fit, whenever or however we choose. Furthermore, I could leave the club anytime I desired, so long as I abided by the contract and gave my thirty-day written notice, which, actually amounted to a 55-day notice on that day. Kevin Siegel then informed me that he had a battery of corporate attorneys, so he wasnt concerned with how I interpreted his understanding of the contract.Heres my take on Mr. Siegels rude and obnoxious behavior. When a customer pays the monthly dues that Life Time Athletic charges and the Company hides behind fine print, condones sales people lying to customers, and does it in a disdainful and unprofessional manner such as the way Kevin Siegel did, this is when the public must be made aware. Life Time Athletic doesnt have the right to reinterpret rules after you have signed a contract and paid your dues. A person like Kevin Siegel should know that his acerbic and pompous attitude does not fly with people that can afford to pony-up excessive monthly dues.To make matters worse, when I tried to contact the corporate office I was met with rude and abrasive representatives who told me I could not speak to anyone higher than Kevin Siegel. Imagine, a foul-mouthed, ill-mannered 35ish-year-old is as high as I could go? I was able to reach a customer service regional manager named Bab McLagan who promised a call back that never transpired. Theres a theme starting to run through the company at this point, dont you think? Following up five days later, I left a message for Bab McLagans co-worker, Bridget. Later that day I received a call from Laura Messerli, (West Coast Senior Vice President) Kevin Siegels direct superior. After a cordial conversation with Ms. Messerli, I was surprised to be told that she would discuss the matter and see if it was acceptable for my wife and me to have our membership reinstated. I was now being made to feel as if my wife and I were the ones at fault?
Best Gym in Vegas hands down.
This gym is amazing. Indoor and outdoor pools. Equipment galore. Nice locker room with great shampoo and conditioner. I want to move in lol.
Pretty clean gym thats not too crowded. Staff can be rude at times...
Insanely expensive. Still charges full price even though all amenities are not available due to covid. Also starting to add an extra fee for using a credit card. Doing a great job maintaining cleanliness. It is absolutely not worth the price tag. Clientele is awful at putting weights away but I guess thats pretty much every gym.
I come to this gym because of the attention, care, and genuine enthusiasm of the staff members, working equipment.
Thats my gym. Though pricey as everyone says but its on a different level of all gyms. I think its worth it. I love it.
Ashley’s Spin was great.
From what i know....its a very good place to work out...has a lot of amenities....make it a ton.
Clean facility, friendly staff, nice selection of equipment and classes.
Awesome place
Amazing facility and great staff.
Awesome staff, safe encouraging environment, and amazing equipment!
Amazing place. Love the energy.
It doesnt get any better than Lifetime Fitness anything you need for physical fitness can be found here. Always super clean never crowded. You could spend the whole day here
Crowded with a bunch of high school boys that like to travel in packs and spend a lot of time checking themselves out in the mirror instead of using the equipment that they occupying. Otherwise its clean and there is everything you need
Beautiful location and facility. Great visit minus a few arrogant clients. Otherwise, staff was great, very clean, and there is not a single machine you will not find. Absolutely a one stop shop gym.
We have had a membership for years. I called to cancel due to COVID and they told me I had to come in and fill out paperwork to cancel. I told her I was not to going to come in in person to cancel and she finally relented and said that she could email me the form to fill out. This should not be this difficult to cancel. This is a very frustrating experience just to cancel a membership.
Rules make no sense. They charge for kids but dont let them do anything. Why would you close the pool at 6 p.m. when most people cannot get their kids and be at the pool by 6 p.m.? I understand if it bothers other people but in the evening after 6 or 8 p.m. there is nobody else in the pool so why not let kids swim in the pool if nobody cares or nobody is there anyway? Theres a lifeguard there 24 hours a day so what difference does it make if theyre not costing them any extra money or anything like that? I tried getting a massage the other day and a haircut and the massage was the best they haircut was truly the worst haircut Ive ever received in my life and I cant believe I spent $50 for the cut and I cannot believe that you did not even show me in a mirror my haircut or asked me if I was happy before leaving. When I got back to work everybody made fun of how butchered my hair was I cannot believe this. I even asked who the best person is that can fade here and this is what they gave. They advertise that they have a rock climbing wall but its only open for like 2 hours a day when nobody is available to go because theyre trying to cut back on overhead. Kids can not use the steam room or the hot tub even though the law says that if the parents are with the kids they have their own rules. Honestly I dont think its worth the $380 a month I pay for a family membership. Im just shopping around for what else is out here thats better before I do that period it would be cheaper for me to get a home equity line of credit and build a facility for my family and my backyard and pay $380 a month towards my mortgage at least I would own the building
Always clean and tidy. Pandemic has taken a toll on the availability of equipment and resources however the club manages to make everyone feel welcome and go out of their way to accommodate the members.
I am a member of this club and I am giving them one star. The reason is because I have been trying to set up a personal training session for the past two weeks. I have not received any contact to set this appointment up. I have left messages with two people over the phone. I have also left voicemail messages and I have called the club a total of seven times. It is a very busy club, but this is ridiculous. Also, when I try to send a feedback message on the website, it does not work. For $200 per month, you’d think the members could get better service. The facility is great. Staff is good for the most part when you’re in the club but don’t try anything over the phone unless it’s at the salon or the spa because your messages go into a black hole.
I absolutely love this gym! The price to me is not unreasonable considering the amenities. The staff is always friendly, helpful and the gym is always clean. I have had memberships at most of the gyms in town, including some specialty ones and Lifetime offers WAY more than any other gym. The cheap smaller gyms have broken equipment and are filthy and the specialty ones only offer a small range of items. Lifetime has something for everyone... classes, basketball, smash ball, basketball, rock climbing, swimming, and a newly added crossfit area. If you are like me, you attend the gym 8+ times per month so the $20 drop in would cost me more than the monthly membership. My kids have a membership as well because they play basketball, rock climb and swim frequently. I used to pay $175 for a specialty gym that only offered a minimal selection of equipment and had restrictions on open gym times. The towels have always been clean and I never see broken equipment. Keep up the amazing work everyone!!!
The worst gym everrr GROSS!! this place needs new staff members
The best gym in Vegas.
I was visiting from a platinum club and they welcomed me to this upper level diamond club. I enjoyed the equipment, workout, layout of the club and staff hospitality. The keyless Lockers are excellent! Thank you LT Vegas!
Love this location. The layout inside is great especially machines and weights are well laid out and not on top of each other. I’ve been there at different times throughout day and it’s never crowded, no waiting for machines, very clean too. Staff is pretty friendly too.
I love this place. The atmosphere just give you more energy to keep working out harder.
I want to live in this gym!! I would love to have a membership but unfortunately I do not live in Vegas any more, nor is there a a gym remotely comparable where I live. When I visit Las Vegas (2-3 times a year) I always work out here. There is an amazing choice of workout equipment as well. Every time I work out here I feel as though Ive had a great workout! I actually WANT to go to the gym! The staff and management have been helpful, courteous, accommodating and professional. The staff in the cafe has always been quick and friendly. Last year I had a session with a trainer who actually knew what he was doing! I usually have an after- workout smoothie Some day Ill try something from the grill! I have not taken advantage of all the amenities, but from what I know they are superb. Cant wait to go back in July!
They have amazing equipment, two basketball courts and multiple squash courts. I have an workout plan which requires uncommon equipment and they have all off it. They even have oversized tires, tire flipping machines, and a climbing rope.
Great gym. Nice staff. Really pricey.
Great gym. Expensive but worth it if you go often and use all the available included amenities that come with your membership.
Do not give your money to this club. This location has a slew of issues far beyond repair. Lets start with the fitness floor. Between 4am-10pm, there is always a trainer taking space on the floor to train clients, mingle with each other, and play on their phones. Specifically, you have Oliver, Ian, and Jared all trying to one-up each other on the squat rack. How do I know there names? They wont stop showboating. This is daily. Machines are not 24-hour accessible and lifetime holds machines for the members who pay extra for classes. Its ridiculous to not be able to get a treadmill because a class has it reserved. I do prefer treadmills that are close to the air vents to get circulation and unfortunately, those treadmills have cards on them indicating hours that they are only in use for classes. What else? 1st floor. The kitchen has frozen foods and they advertise of it is here, it is healthy. WRONG. Most entrees are frozen and placed in a toaster oven: pizza, sandwiches, chicken tenders. Female locker room infested with dirty towels, smells awful, and cleaned with watered-down cleaners. Shampoo is also your body wash. CHEAPSKATES. 3rd floor sucks. Courts taken up by Uhoops or pickup games constantly running during peak hours. Not very family-oriented as lifetime advertises. I do not recommend the child care as employees did not take care of my 3 year old. Came back with scratches and bite marks. No one said a word. Spoke to manager Erin and she dismissed my issue saying my child never complained and that she watched her whole time. YEAH RIGHT. Everything about this place is bad. Go somewhere else for workouts and daycare.
Former Retired United States Air Force Commander. Served our great country for fifteen years in many roles before being medically discharged. I fractured my femoral shaft (femur) during combat and have not been the same since. Upon leaving the USAF, I have been treated by the men and women of our great country with nothing but respect. With Lifetime, I cannot say the same. For the past few weeks, I have been attending Summerlin Lifetime. At times, I have trouble parking. This results from others parking in handicap spaces who do not have the credentials and a combination of those handicapped. I notice the meter maid drive by and write citations, but not anywhere as often as it should be. I was directed to the General Manager of the club, Chris Mitchell after many attempts to speak with a corporate employee. The ole run-a-round. I spoke to Chris about the parking dilemma and he danced around with sports euphemisms and analogies as well as anecdotes of his own life, not getting to the bottom-line. I was always taught to be straightforward, Chris is not. His unprofessional tactics to deal with problem-solving are on full display here:1. I ask Chris to enforce handicap parking. He says all he can do is have me file a report to non-emergency.2. I politely asked to have the combat wounded signs in his office to be posted. He says he will get then up. They are still laying in his office for all to see. Weeks later...3. Chris aggressively jokes about my leg and makes comparisons to that of injured football players. He will mock the way I walk or point out my stump of a leg in his words to others. My experience with Chris Mitchell is unprofessional, unwarranted, and disrespectful. I recommend those stationed at Nellis and retirees to steer clear. Chris Mitchell operates the club poorly and its reflected in his handling of disabled parking. In addition, I have many problems with this club: inconsistencies in the locker room (some lockers require cards, others dont, some lockers are compromised), an always closed steam room, and dirty weight room floor. Chris Mitchell should be fired. A new General Manager is in order for this location to succeed in respecting veterans, the disabled, and the elderly.
I love Life Time, it is a reasonable price for what you get. First off, I am disappointed that my friend/referral did not receive his LT Bucks. I am sure it will be rectified by tomorrow. (better be) On another note: I used to be an LVAC member and I cannot go back. LT has everything, never crowded, not snobbish, I am very happy with my membership. Very classy and family friendly! Love it! I highly recommend.
This gym is above all other gyms in the greater Las Vegas area. Many of these reviews are people venting about the price. It is an expensive gym but you are paying for a quality unmatched by any other facilities in Las Vegas. There are ample amounts of equipment. Even during peak hours, you are able to find a machine or equipment you are looking for. Highly recommend
The classes are so great - I like to mix things up and Life Time is continually offering fresh classes that maximize workouts. I also love that i have zero mommy guilt when I leave my child at their new Kids Academy, which is included with memberships - while Im working out my four-year-old son is learning Spanish and doing arts and crafts. Amazing.
All about the money. The daycare didn’t make me feel comfortable at all! When being dropped off, i noticed kids were not being paid attention too. He was also given back to me with a mark on his head and was not able to cancel my membership immediately even though there was no way I would return after that. Members were sent notifications that RSV had been going around as well as HFM. They take children when they are sick, and even a friends child got chicken pox! Needless to say,I canceled my membership . Waste of money.Edit: I did contact cooperate and wasn’t even heard out! Was placed on hold ... Not a care in the world. Just wanted the money! 👎
I was thinking about signing up, but after reading all the bad reviews about the customer service and how hard it is to cancel I have made my decision to stay away. Beautiful gym, I have been inside it’s a stunning facility I would love work out here; just so many bad reviews. I can’t stand going some where and being hard sold, reminds me of a used car lot type of sales man mentality.
Clean gym. Locker rooms have all the essentials. Kids club is clean and the employees are well trained.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would give this gym zero stars if I could. The management and member services are the worst ever. They do not care about their members as long as they get their money and are very rude when you have account questions and try to cancel your membership. They will talk you into trying to hold your membership and then try to raise your hold rates without your permission and then when you try to cancel you hold because you dont agree to pay $30 a month for absolutely nothing, tell you are required to pay another month because they have to have a 30 day cancel notice for a hold that went from $10 a month to $30 a month without your consent or knowledge. I am now involved in a dispute with my credit card company because Lifetime drafted $30 without my consent for a Hold on my membership and basically laughed in my face when I confronted them about it...their attitude, too bad, so sad. And told me they were drafting another $30 next month because of my obligation for a 30-day written notice. Their gym is not all that. They nickel and dime you for everything. The showers were dirty and half the time the hot tub did not work. Overpriced for what you get. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
Love this gym. Super clean, nice equipment, overall worth the money. Only complaint: The WiFi sucks. It is just terrible. Ongoing for over 7 months, happens when the place is busy or not, sometimes you have to get on a call and poor service prohibits that. AT&T happens to have Zero service here also. Upgrade your WiFi!!!
Was a member for over 5 years and I just gave notice for a number of reasons. The first is a complete lack of interaction and customer services. In over 5 years I never had any staff even say hello to me (with the exception of the front desk), let alone create any interaction about how my experience could be improved. I attempted to bring guests on 2 occasions in the last 4 years, because of rules they changed after I joined, they refused my guests both times. Secondly, the number of machines in certain areas dont equate to usage in the gym (many popular machines are in constant use and others sit free at all times), when I asked about how they monitored usage to make sure they had the correct machines I was told that mostly the feedback came from trainers and it was admitted they were biased in what machines they want. If they simply monitored usage during peak times they would know which machines need to be purchased and which machines are only taking up space. Lastly, I witnessed a severe bullying incident in the gym where one man followed a man and woman around the gym then followed them outside, as it happened I voiced the response from the woman that she felt very afraid and asked her friend to leave with her, I filed a complaint at the time and specifically asked the manager to call me as I felt it to very serious. I never received a call, and two separate times brought this up to the front desk and still never was asked about the incident. I was working out six days a week and never saw that couple again, but saw the offender every night for at least a year. My conclusion after every interaction is this is a very corporate gym and you arent treated as a member as much as a transaction. Theyve had 5 general managers in 5 years and Ive never seen one on the gym floor interacting with members, I only see them as I walk into the building in their office.
I really love this gym, but some of the staff here is just pathetic. I wanted use my guest pass on my mom so she can bring my brother (He is adopted so he is a different ethnicity as me) and the lady in the front automatically assumes that i am lying and constantly throws questions at us making us look bad. This was very unprofessional and made my brothers visit here very unpleasant. Way to ruin what was supposed to be a fun day at the gym. Well Done.
I have been thoroughly impressed by this club. Every aspect is top quality. Includes a Rockwall, spa, café and juice bar. The gym floor has every machine you can think of and more. Along with my personal favorite a heated floor yoga studio and Pilates studio. Not only that, but there is a third floor which includes Group classes, racquetball courts and basketball courts. I like to think of this place more as a country Club is not just a gym. On a personal note, are used to sell gym memberships at this location and I enjoyed it very much and the best part was going to the luxurious locker room for a hot steamy shower.
Facility is quite nice so it is up to the individual to decide whether it is worth $160 a month. i personally felt is was more of an $80/month gym. i am giving it one star b/c of its deceptive billing practices. i was assured it was a month to month contract and could cancel anytime. i canceled in the middle of the month due to the gyms cost and location (it was adding 30 minutes of driving to my day). i assumed i could use the gym until the end of the month, whereupon my credit card would not be rebilled. not so. i was informed i would be charged an additional 30 days. of course they dont need 30 days notice to cancel an account. it only takes 1 minute in front of a computer. when asked why, they just kept parroting its the policy. it is a very deceptive and underhanded way to extract more money out of people. i would discourage anyone from joining for this reason alone
I feel really sad to read these reviews. This should be a place to go to relax and feel good about yourself and our kids have begged us to belong and I feel you must be paying for the name and kids dont understand that, but I dont want such a hassle to belong to a gym. I guess it is a difference of owning a Nike pair of shoes vs. Asics. Asics are far better for your fee to run in, but my kids want the name of Nike to wear. I want to thank the people that posted because I would have never guessed with the amount of money paid that there would be such problems.
Great kids classes, love the variety of yoga classes offered. Definitely pricey, but if you use your membership you get what you pay for.
Great place, I notice some talk about they cater to money. If you walk in a high end spa, what do you expect, This is the best place to work out and have a family place to go. Its more a destination than a gym. If you want cheap, go to a gym,
I am really disappointed with my experience here, my husband scheduled an appointment to view the facility and discovered that our family had been bailed on this morning (OK is no one else capable of showing us around? People in lifetime polos are sitting everywhere...) Upon this discovery the front desk, Yolanda, impatiently asked if he had a special email with a QR code which he in fact did and told her and showed her that the image was loading. She had the audacity to ask us to try walking around the cafe for better wifi? and then was no where to be found when he came to show her the code. Yolanda was in site at the other counter obviously avoiding us - the other lady at the front didn’t even bother to acknowledge my husband or say hello. Neither asked if they could find someone to show us around or if we even wanted to reschedule! Yolanda nor the other front desk even tried to find a solution to make our first impression positive. Is my husbands money not good here? Is it because my husband is Middle Eastern? I want an answer as to why we were treated so lousy by the people who are supposed to have the best customer service. Your first point of contact are grouchy women who act like they hate their job and the people who walk into it.
This place is becoming worse than LV athletic. It’s very very dirty and lockers get broken into often. They allow passes for not-members and these ppl cone here to take advantage of everything. 150$ not worth it !
Love the pools. People hog the equipment. many people don’t know how to share.
Be careful before you sign a contract. Especially a corporate account. Once they get you to sign something there like lawyers corporate is rude mean and talk down to you and refuse to let you out of pain even after the contractor canceled . And of course like anything it’s blah blah blah didn’t you read the print. One of the worst things I did is allow lifetime to sign me upBeware they’re owned by a bunch of lawyers in my opinion. And they just want money. After you canceled I’ll continue to charge your Account, There supposedly month-to-month but I had to go to the point of canceling my debit card and starting new accounts with Wells Fargo and corporate has the nerve to tell me well we have a form that says it’s illegal so will just charge a new account
This place is a cheaply gilded pile of garbage... Everything is designed to look and sound great when you are on your tour. Then you start going there to use the place and none of the great amenities are available except at high peak times. Want to go rock climbing? Open a few hours a week. Your kids want to use the outdoor pool... Open only when school kids are out for summer or on weekends. Kids want to go on the water slide? Have to go back inside and beg staff to come out and turn it on. Answer is often “sorry, we don’t have enough staff right now”. Enjoying playing in the outside pool? Be prepared for frequent fifteen minute “safety breaks” where the pool is cleared so the one lifeguard on duty can go on break while everyone sweats in the sun waiting for them to come back from their break. Oh, and I haven’t even gotten to the best part... When you finally realize that this place is a scam and you call up to request that your membership be cancelled, “sure, no problem... Please send us a letter through CERTIFIED MAIL to cancel.” Are you kidding me? They say this is “for your protection, so you have proof you cancelled.” Oh, what about email? “Ummmmmm, sorry you have to send a certified letter or drive down and appear in person for what is essentially an exit interview where they only let you cancel after they try every tactic they have in their playbook to try to retain you... When I went in to cancel there was a woman who had driven all the way from Los Angeles to cancel... She was pissed!
This is the right place to get fit and you wont be disapointed. Recommended.
Great gym with lots of extras. Indoor and outdoor pools, massages, great food/smoothie bar.
I went to lifetime fitness in green valley about a year back on a 3 day pass and I believe I was racially profiled by the gym manager and his assistant. I asked to step off of the basketball court in the middle of a game and come down to an office where I was notified that a member suggested that I had stolen things from his locker. The manager then interrogated me on why a member would make such a claim and I replied I had no idea. He then searched through all of my belongings all to find no stolen items. I am an African American male and I do believe if I was a non minority person I would not have been treated this way. It was completely embarrassing. Would never return to this establishment. This place completely deserves every bad review it gets.
Today was my first day in the gym I came register yesterday was very smooth and any thing I ask can be done and they have available time for any class I want for me and my daughters I just came the next day I ask this girl setting in the desk to register my daughters to swim class she say we don’t have any available time till next month I say what the point my daughter she have school next month and she give websites to register which is not working I want ask again she say oh I can’t do nothing for you you have to register online she was very rude I don’t want even bring my daughter close to her or train her any way her name is Annie if I saw her again I will differently canceling my membership
Price is high of course but I joined. On my third visit another member or the locker room attendant broke into my locker and stole my wallet. Not good! Reported the incident to Management but they never got back to me. There are plenty of other good Gym options in the area which do not have these problems.
Its just another big gym, lots of ego walking around, phony instructor, and influencers taking pics/videos of themselves. I would rather save myself the money and trouble and buy my own gym equipment. Or better yet Ill just head over to TruFusion because I hear they have childcare now, and the best group fitness instructors in Vegas.
This place is so nice and so is Dominic the account manager there.
We were lied to.A young man named Castro signed us up gaining special permission to have our grandson sign up under us. The grandson spends much time with us as we watch him all day Saturday and most days during the week after school. For us to join, we had to have the grandson be a member and our membership was contingent upon his acceptance.During our meeting with Castro the grandsons membership was understood. Castro left his desk stating he was off to seek special permission to allow this to happen because Lifetime accepts children only under their parents membership. He returns with the glorious news that our grandson has been given permission to join. With this news, we joined after being re-assured that should it now work for us, we give 30 days notice and our membership can be cancelled without problems.LIfe Time has collected two months of dues for our grandsons membership and this morning he was denied entrance to the facility. At check in, the young lady at the front desk gave us the news. It is Saturday so no management on site to discuss this with only salespeople and service personnel. This is Fraud. They also came up with some charges that we are unaware agreeing to.The posted asking to call them to take care of this. I called. They did nothing. Their post is to look good, not do anything.
I love this place. The showers are clean, the equipment always works (except jacuzzi thats a hit and miss) the spa staff is amazing. Management, in my experience so far has been great! My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the Life Cafe staff. They just dont look like they wanna be there. When you try to ask them a question they give you an attitude and make it seem like they are doing you a favor by answering. Thats why I avoid the cafe. Too bad, their menu looks good but I refuse to interact with that kind of staff.
I am member in lifetime since 2014, i love the GYM but recently they have a black girl in kids club that is unprofessional at all she is always have a sad face and yelling to the kids. My son want me to cancel the membership because of her. My son start to call it as aBAD TIME NOT LIFE TIME he is being mad because this girl always complains about his 3 years old brother and he got mad at her . My kids are so honest and friendly no one complain about my kids before at ALL even before she came to the club
I am really disappointed with my experience here, I scheduled an appointment to view the facility and discovered that my family and I had been bailed on this morning (OK who else can show me around) Upon this discovery the front desk asked if I had a special email with a QR code which I did and told her and showed her that the image was loading. She told me to try walking in the cafe and then was no where to be found when I came to show her the code. She was in site at the other counter obviously avoiding us - the other lady at the front didn’t even bother to acknowledge my family and I or say hello. Neither asked if they could find someone to show us around or if we even wanted to reschedule! How pathetic. Is my money not good here? Is it because I’m Middle Eastern? Do I need to park my car in the front in order to receive attention? Absolutely ridiculous.
The locations in other states are cost 1/3 of that in NV. What a way to sour such a great brand...if you standardize a system and image all over the country, the pricing should also be standardized. They are banking on the fact that the people in NV have not been members in other states before and do not know how much they are getting overcharged. They came up with cleaver rating system to justify it, but they are all the same clubs, all as nice.
Locker rooms and spas were excellent and very clean at all times of the day. Biggest problems are the price for a membership and with the Lifetime Bucks they are always wanting more money out of your pocket even though you have enough bucks to cover the service.
So many things wrong with this gym, where do I start? I live in Laguna and travel back and forth for work and let me tell you there is a noticeable difference in the way the gyms are run. Why is this so Lifetime? For starters there is valet parking at Laguna. At the Summerlin location, you run the risk of getting your car broken into, whether it be parked in the garage or in the main parking lot. I know several people who have had their cars broken into and they tell the management at the Summerlin club and they really could care less that that happened and they do nothing about it. In fact a colleague of mine cancelled his membership today because his car got broken into in the parking lot and when speaking to the management about it they were perfectly fine to accept him cancelling his membership over this. Does your corporation really care about the people you are accepting money from? It doesn’t seem like it. I can only imagine what would happen if this same scenario happened at the Laguna location. Membership is $165/month for now, but they put a bunch of new equipment in the gym, which was much needed, but I’m sure a rate increase is in the works. The management and customer service people are not there to help you, when you confront them with concerns they have this “oh well, deal with it or leave/cancel your membership attitude”. Night and day contrast from the Laguna gym. The Summerlin gym location is suppose to be a “diamond level” gym whatever that means but the service and quality you get at this gym is so awful, no where near a diamond in my opinion. They also seem to care about you signing up for personal training/group classes cause the management is completely fine with blocking off groups of treadmills/equipment during peak hours. Why would anyone pay $165/mo, risk getting your car broken into and then go inside deal with unfriendly front desk and staff and management who could really care less about your experience and then pay additional money for group classes/personal training? It’s a cash grab for this corporation. The location is great and they capitalize on that. I sincerely hope another nice gym opens up and gives the Summerlin location some competition cause this lifetime location does not appreciate your patronage. Bad management, bad gym, not worth the money, risk getting your car broken into.
Honestly this is a nice gym, they have a lot of different amenities and its a nation wide gym so you can go to other locations in other states, but in my opinion its better to just pay for a 20$ day pass when you want to go.The people who work here are most con artists. They get commission so they have the demeanor that if you dont sign up under them they arent interested in talking to you, and the fine details of the contract are designed to completely screw you. There are little things like if the location you are going to is nicer than the gym yoilu signed up under, you have to pay more. Or you get three 1 day passes per month for friends and family, that can only be used on different people and after they visit they have to pay and if you show up past 8 oclock they wont sign them up to visit for free. And have to be in person to cancel the membership, and even though they are 24 hours, if you dont show up during normal business hours you cant cancel. You have to also give them 1 month notice for cancellation, as if this is a job and we need to put in our notice. Just because a lot of places does this, doesnt make it right.I dont normally write reviews but I just called to try and cancel the membership and I asked about canceling over the phone as I am out of the country and will be for several more months, and she said the stipulations then said well too bad for you but when you signed the contract you agreed to this in a very condescending way.
The gym is 3 stories of amazing and clean!
We have been to lifetime more than a year now. Their group classes are not bad, but the management seems like dont care about their members as long as you are paying the fees. My 3 years old caught athelic foot from the pool and I filed two times complaint to the manage wishing they could speak with me to avoid other kids getting it, never heard from them!
I absolutely love this gym and everything that it offers. Great workouts to keep you going .
Best club in Vegas, great outdoor water park too
