Southwest Management Group has been my property management company for the last 9 years. In that time they have screened the best tenants an owner can have! The service I received was nothing but the best and I always recommend them to my friends and clients as well. If you want a company you can rely on and get quick responses from, then this is the right company to choose!
Not even worth one star. I should of done my homework a little more, I figured all property management companies are a like. I am constantly being bothered with trivial issues of our rental property. The tenants they rented our home to are very questionable. We are getting frequent text from our old neighbors about the disruption they are creating in the quiet neighborhood. Recently they have moved and are now taking quite awhile to distribute funds. It took them 22 days to distribute rental funds that was supposed to be certified funds from the renter. Explanation from our property manager...they were waiting for funds to clear. Certified or not that is ridiculously long. Our property manager, Tessa, is not very helpful. I did most of the work to line up vendors to maintain the property. It takes several attempts to contact her to get a response. Definitely look elsewhere. I can not wait till our agreement ends with them.
I am horrified Southwest Management Group for failing to provide air conditioning in a home with a small child. We have been renting a house from Southwest Management Group for three years now, and each year the air conditioner breaks as it is nearly 30 years old and we live in the desert. Each year they throw a new compressor in and call it done.We have been without air conditioning now for 6 full days. They have finally decided to replace the unit, but Southwest Management Group is not providing anything to help us get through the hot days and uncomfortable nights in the meantime. There were promises of a swamp cooler - that was the last email Jay Silva the owner decided he would reply to. No one ever contacted us about actually bringing one by. I am disgusted with his lack attention to this matter and outraged because my two year old son is involved, and no one at Southwest Management Group seems to care.
Jessica is the best. Very responsive and helpful since the very beginning. Love SWMG.
Unfair policies and unsympathetic to common misunderstandings/circumstances. Also they will conveniently not mention problems until youve already signed the lease.
