I had a file that was very important for my work I delete it a few months ago and after several weeks of course someone at my work needed it and I really was in the pickle so I contacted compudoc.And these guys are terrific I dont know what kind of voodoo they did on my computer but they were able to find some long-lost mirror image of the File and they really saved my bacon . They are terrific I love them and I highly highly recommend them.

In my case, I was not always sure we would get the outcome I hoped for, but I knew from the first time I spoke to him on the phone that, whatever result we got, it would be the best for our computer issues. I highly recommend Compudoc as I was very scared at the damage I did to my laptop & all the years of data that I thought I lost. He was able to recover all the data and he provided several hours of 1:1 training on how to best use the laptop without damaging it again, provided simple instructions on how to care for the laptop and provided instruction and advisement of what to purchase to have a back up system, which he strongly encourages that I did not have before. When I had new issues that were of concern, unrelated to the previous issues that he fixed that I had already paid for, he free of charge, responded to my text asking for help by calling me and doing remote repair work. Gareth is very passionate about computers and his customers feeling comfortable without any worries. He kept saying to me, no worries while I expressed my anxiety over the frustrating experience I was dealing with. He kept telling me, he knew I did not know the damage I was causing on my laptop. I like that he told me to rely on him to repair my computer like I rely on an Auto Mechanic to fix my car. Although I felt guilty and very appreciative of the hours after his business day was over that he helped me, he kept reminding me that he enjoys his work and enjoys helping his customers feel comfortable with their computers. He told me when I left his business that he would always be available to assist me when needed and he has proven it. I highly recommend anyone who has any issues with their computer or laptop to go to him because he will find a solution if it means him taking several hours to troubleshoot to find one. My Dell Laptop developed a faulty power jack due to flimsy design. After spending months of buying new cords and a new battery I had resorted to having to hold the cord at a certain angle and push down on the connector to get it to charge. I have never been able to run it without the battery charging. My adaptive methods eventually stopped working altogether. It was either buy a new laptop or see if it could be repaired. I took my computer to Compudoc and they fixed the connection and the broken wiring that prevented me from running my computer without the battery. The connection was far more stable and solid than the original design. They also gave me update recommendations for improved performance. This whole process took a couple of weeks because they had to order parts and the shipping was slower due to Covid 19 issues but they told me this upfront. They also stayed in contact with me through text and provided progress updates so I was never left wondering. I am happy to say that I have my Laptop back in better condition that the original and the price I was quoted was exactly what I paid, much less than purchasing a new system.

This is probably one of the best places I have ever visited. Gareth the owner is the most professional person I have ever met in terms of computers and stuff. He built me a PC that was affordable to me and gave me no BS. He told me the pest products for the best prices and talked for like 2 hours until we picked out the best products, I gave him the money and it took about 3 weeks for the pc to be built mainly because delivery was a bit late with a product. Those 3 weeks were the most suspenseful weeks of my life but It was worth the wait because it blew my mind how the PC looked and performed. I tested it out for like 2 and a half hours and it was the best thing I have ever played on. There was no stutter, no lag, no nothing. Gareth definitely lives up to his word and would recommend this place 100%, definet, definitely coming back to get upgrades for my pc in the future.

I needed to transfer some files from an old laptop to a new one. It could have been simple but the program I used was to old to transfer on window 10. Gareth is honest and gets straight to the point. I came in to increase my Ram because I thought that would speed my laptop up. He took the time to explain that the ram has nothing to do with it and showed me how new SSD Drive would speed it up. I told him I want a 1 TB Drive and he mentioned it is not needed since I currently only had 160gb used and suggested to go with a 250gb. He could have sold me one but didn’t. Gareth did a great job with my computer. My computer would not start up, and I didn’t know why. I brought it into Compudoc, and Gareth the owner told me that my hard drive had crashed. He explained to me that technology has changed, and it might be advisable to put a much faster hard drive in my computer. He explained that the original person that put My computer together did it wrong, because my hard drive was slow, and it was slowing down my computer badly, before it crashed. He explained that I have a very powerful computer, and it would be a lot faster with a solid-state hard drive. All I can say is wow! The speed is unbelievable!! I could not be happier. My computer died... I was distraught. I went to see Gareth and he looked at my situation and said.... I CAN FIX IT! Well.... It was more a metaphor. What he did was build me an AMAZING replacement, transfer all my data AND add in Malware Bytes.... and Ive had ZERO virus or malware issues!!! I am familiar with assembling computers I have put together roughly 4 to 5 computers throughout the years. When I ran into an issue I was having with a new build I was hesitant to call an expert. 1. I was concerned I was going to get criticized 2. I was concerned I was going to get gouged for the troubleshooting due to my predicament. I made the plunge and gave a call here. I was immediately impressed with the friendliness and professionalism over the phone. I was able to get the PC diagnosed as having a faulty power supply (Brand New), and was able to get it running with a new higher quality power supply unit. All said and done I must say that I am very impressed with the quality and knowledge here. If you are having any computer issues be it a custom job or a general issue; I would certainly recommend you start here.

Tony looked it over and said he could build a better machine for a better price. The next day he gave me a quote for $1,799 for machine that is superior to the magazine in many ways and I save $1200 and get a 1year warranty. I was having some trouble with my SSD booting up my operating system. Gareth told me the possible issues and that he would let me know the price before he did any work. In the end, he was able to fix it within an hour and had me out the door with a fair and honest price. He even fixed some issues in my BIOS that I didnt even know about--which made my computer run even smoother than before.If I ever have trouble again, I know where to go.

Tony is a great guy, very knowledgeable, and he wont take you for a ride. He helped me out tremendously in a difficult circumstance wherein my HP laptop had a cracked hinge and was on the verge of completely malfunctioning. Ended up buying a higher-end Asus laptop and Tony was kind enough to install Windows 10 on it and all the drivers as well. He also did other work for me after that to fine-tune the laptop. I highly recommend this location.

I gotta give these guys mad props. I was in the vegas area on a project when my RAM went faulty and I hadn’t backed everything up yet! I called Compudoc and got a few pointers over the phone and a quote to come in and get it repaired. Once i determined the issue on my own I went to Frys, grabbed the part and the tools and set off to go replace the RAM on my own... Until i realized i was only 10 minutes away from Compudoc and I really wanted it done right. No short circuiting the motherboard, I didn’t want to stir the pot and cause further damage. I went in and Josh, the tech, literally stopped what he was doing and was fully invested in helping me figure out which stick was bad and tossing in the new stick.And to top it off when i tried to pay them they refused! I had to drop this review to at least pay some debt back. mad love to the whole Compudoc team! i’m back on my project!!

It reaks of cat piss and theres cat hair everywhere as well.Yes he is a nice person and very knowledgeable about computers as well, but he is misleading and tries to pathetically upsell. Im not even sure why this business is rated so high (4.8 Stars) when it clearly shouldnt be. I think he creates fake accounts and goes on Google to rate himself?

I brought my MacBook in to Compudoc which I found on Yelp, and saw they were a reputable Computer Shop. Tony checked in the machine for a $75 diagnostic after spilling Dr. Pepper all over it. The Machine did turn on, but I was doing weird things and of course the Keyboard was sticking on some of the keys. They called me back the next day and said all of the parts were functioning but the keyboard would need to be replaced. I had them order an new keyboard and the cleaned all the sticky stuff from in the machine and my MacIntosh is running like new. I cannot Thank Tony and Compudoc enough. Best computer tech in Las Vegas!

Tony IS a true professional. A master Communicator as he walked through a nightmare repair as the geek squad had written off my computer as a total loss because they could not diagnose the problem, as it ended up being three simultaneous problems and lesser technicians couldnt understand why the computer was malfunctioning. I found Compudoc on yelp under computer repair and I was still uncomfortable with trying them despite really good Yelp reviews, but Tony is a Savior and he fixed everything in two days when Geek Squad hat my Laptop for four days and told me I needed a new machine. Compudoc is a great SMALL business in Las Vegas that actually cares about customers, not a giant corporation pushing me to buy something new. Thank you

I suffered severe spill damage to my Gaming Laptop, so bad that sprite oozed out the side when I picked it up. Last year I payed $2700 for it and I owe two more years of payments. I found Compudoc on Yelp and brought it in to Tony and I was told the diagnostic fee was $75 to find out how extensive the damage was. He had it for 24 hrs going through everything as I waited for dreaded phone call to find out how hard my bank account was about to be blasted. I was ecstatic to find out that the keyboard took the full brunt of the damage and no other parts in my notebook needed to be replaced (thank God!) as I feared the worst when my machine wouldnt even boot up after the spill. I still cannot believe that a sprite tsunami inside my machine didnt cost me hundreds of dollars thanks Tony you are the best computer technician in Las Vegas!!

I needed a used Laptop, I found Compudoc on Yelp and my MacBook was down and was in to the Apple Store for service. I went in to see what they had and Tony picked one out and was able to load a few programs on it so I could use it while my MacBook is down. I am so glad that I didnt go to a pawnshop where I thought I may have saved a few bucks but not gotten the Notebook computer setup properly so I can use. The knowledge of the technician in this store is formiddable.Many Thanks

These guys are great. I had a Laptop which would not connect to the internet so I had a friend refer me to Compudoc. They are not in the greatest part of town. However, Tony made it all worthwhile when he quickly fixed my internet card driver $27.50 and I was out the door. I then took a APPLE MacBook that I wanted to upgrade and they were half the cost of the Apple store although I did have to wait 5 days for the ordered parts to arrive. Now My MacBook is screaming fast....Thanks to you Tony. If you need computer repair in Las Vegas then these guys are the ones to take it to!

My go to guys for Computer repair as my MacBook Pro had a virus? I heard that Apple products were Immune to viruses, but apparantly that is not true. I brought my machine in at 10 am, and left my name and number with the folks over there and received a phone call 2:30 pm telling me machine as good to go. I even runs faster not as they did a cleaning/optimization on it while they have the machine as well. Although I was disappointed that MacIntosh are not invulnerable to Bugs and Worms I know that as long as im here in Vegas Compudoc is the place that can and will help, and for very fair prices.Thank you Guys!

My Email would not send properly as recipients couldnt open my attachments which are PDF format but they would not open for the people I sent them too. I found them on Yelp and went to Compudoc on Jones (they also have a Henderson location at Eastern ans Russell). They looked at my laptop and apparantely a Virus had changed the default file type my files were being saved to and nobody could open them. Tony quickly diagnosed the problem and had to keep my Laptop overnight to facilitate the Virus removal. The next morning my computer was running like it should and they had to remove the ineffective and corrupted McAfee anti-virus and installed a new one called Kaspersky, which is supposed to be very good protection. They are knowledgeable and customer oriented in addition to having reasonable rates.
