On the way into Vegas on Tuesday our car lost acceleration power so we brought it to this garage they looked at it for two days assured us nothing was wrong, charged us nothing, and sent us on our way. As we left town today, Thursday, the car lost all acceleration on the highway we coasted into a gas station and are now waiting for a tow. A mechanic in Arizona at Greulichs (near our home) diagnosed it over the phone in two seconds, that it was a transmission issue and he just assumed it was a Nissan without even asking! I’m no mechanic but if a car can’t accelerate there might be an issue. This could’ve been resolved during our stay but now we have to inconvenience people at home who are looking after our house and pets while we wait for repairs.

My car drives like new... which is good because half of it is...

Skip this place. Not everything they say is true. So be careful. Its more of quantity for them and not the quality. The guy in the front desk needs to be back working. He looks miserable with his job as a front desk. He doesnt even wear mask even if its mandated

Not only did they give me a Veterans Discount, but when I had a small issue with my alignment they did, they came over, picked up my car, fixed it, did ANOTHER alignment just to make sure everything was perfect, and dropped it back off to me.Youve got a customer for LIFE! I called and spoke with a Cameron to ask him some detailed questions about getting my vehicle transmission flushed. I advised him i have a CVT and that i needed it flushed, he confirmed that they can handle the service. I called back about 20 min later to schedule an appointment and the other person on the phone advised me they do not do CVT transmission flushes so i told him that i spoke with Cameron and that he assured me that they do and asked if i can speak with him. The gentlemen put me on hold and when he came back, told me that Cameron was on the phone but that he confirmed that they can do the service and not just a drain and fill. Got there about 20 min after the phone call and gave them my car. I was waiting there for about 20-30 minutes when i got up and saw my vehicle was in the air but with an oil catch under it so i was just patiently waiting but nothing was being touched on my vehicle. I asked the tech working in the bay next door and he said the tech working on my car went to lunch. I waited for about an hour total when the service adviser came back to me and said that they in fact cannot do the transmission flush and that they dont have the adapter for it. I was livid because i confirmed with Cameron the first time, and then at the shop the second time when i brought my car in, they specifically told me they had the adapter but then went ahead and put my car on the lift and made me wait for an hour for the techs lunch break only to find out I had wasted my time completely. Would never recommend such an unprofessional shop. Their only excuse was that the adviser I spoke to was his first day, but it was his first day at that location, not working for the company. Never going back here or recommending this shop.

Had auto service today and I will not use this place again. No air conditioning in the lobby even though this is Las Vegas.Unfriendly staff. No employees wear a mask. Even though its a state mandate.Its over priced.They inflated the price as much as they could.The part from autozone, OReillys, Napa, ranged from $79 to $120.Here they charge $168 as well as an added on bogus fee of $12 for Shop Supplies.They also charged$15 disposal fee for a flat piece of metal. (Here they say its Hazmat.)They also left my vehicle sitting for 2 hours in the same place I parked.When I walked in I was told the part wasnt there yet and that I should find a ride. I found a ride and was on my way home. I get the call from them the car is done.It had been 25 minutes since I left.Also, the $149.00 an hour fee is insane.They also do not give you a printed estimate so that you may see their bogus charges.Skip this place!

The man I spoke with said he couldnt check out the issue was with my A/C when I brought a coupon for a free A/C check because it was for older cars though the coupon didnt say anything like that and try to sell me something that I very unsure would have helped at all. A bit false advertising if you ask me.

I came in when my AC went out, they did a full dye check and unfortunately the issue was extreme, involving a ton of work to fix, while I chose sell the car and upgrade, everyone I dealt with was direct, honest and zero BS, I hope I don’t have to come back to a mechanic with my new car but if I do I will be back here for sure.Highly recommended

Horrible place my truck broke down Monday I ask if could bring it in joe said yes we’ll look at it first thing Tuesday morning I kept calling and asking and they haven’t looked at it they said they had many cars ahead of me! If they can’t handle the work don’t take cars in anyway it is now Thursday and my truck is still sitting in the same spot it was when I drop it off don’t recommend this place!

What a great place. My husband brought his truck here after the dealership screwed it up and they had to figure out what they did wrong and fix it. They did a great job. They have awesome mechanics with amazing customer service. We will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend this place. Their prices are great too.

Well room ac unit went out 112 degrees out side and rest room was dirty. Moved to another room went good till 0800 and the ac unit went down also.

Wasnt booked as email said. The person I talked to wouldnt even look at my car(brakes)only wanted to charge me $150 more than the coupon that they mailed to me stated, which brought me there in the 1st place. Maybe they were too busy making extra money off other customers? Gladly walked out. Never will go back. And I am a very passive person who has just posted my 1st negative comment about any local business. Thumbs down guys. Handle your bizz better, I would preach....

I hardly ever write reviews but these guys deserve it. Notice the good reviews are from basic services people can do themselves. If you need actual help for your car do not waste your money on these guys. They fixed a CAT in my accord a year ago for $1000+ and in 2020 my engine light has yet to turn off or pass SMOG. Every time these greedy piglets try to quote over $1000 dollars repair on a mid 2000s Honda. They tried it again on my wife recently, but another shop on Rainbow verified my suspicions of these guys. AVOID at all costs unless u have money to waste. Im spreading my experience with these guys as much as I can.

Workers are great but Ive had to go back to have the alternator replaced again. 3 days later the alternator is already squealing. Obviously they you Shawty parts. Going to replace the alternator myself.

I needed an issue with my oil checked. They were do kind and had me on my way pretty quick dispute having cars in the bay, and 2 other clients. They were recommended by Jiffy Lube and I recommend them as well.

My worst nightmare with an auto shop. What a simple glass window repair turned paying >$600.00, broke my door panel, chipped my switch panel then delayed the release when i requested them that i wanted the broken part back. They initially quoted me for a discounted $70.00 to open & diagnose but after diagnosing, i disagreed but i was told that it’s another $70.00 to put it back, I ended up having them do it. I was in a hurry then to go back to bay area, was not able to file a formal complaint for i lost my receipt.

Got my wheels aligned ($89.95) and they did a great job with it. They also offer coffee there. Jimmy was very helpful and showed concern for me and my car. Informed me of what needs to be done ASAP and didnt push me to have it fixed right there and then cuz it would cost me so much. All in all everyone is so nice here and answers the phone on time whenever i call them. Thank you

It was a horrible experience they had use drive 40 minutes with no air in our suv to tell use all these different things that would cost us like 1500 dollar that they could have tell us on phone when we call them they were over priced and unprofessional

Brought my jeep SRT in for issues with my brakes vehicle when I go to slow my vehicle down it pulls to the right took it here to get them inspected and was brought a 1500 bill saying it needed pads and rotors which I thought ok but then I see they are saying it needs a brake caliper for 675 I decided to get a second opinion at a meineke showed them the estimate I got from sunauto turns out all my jeep needed was new pads and rotors problem solved manager and tech at meineke said my brake caliper was fine no need to change it and now its been months still brakes great and no issues whatsoever very disappointed in this shop considering the front desk people are very nice but this place is overpriced and I feel I was lied to for whatever reason I dont know but a good shop I can trust will get my business not this one

Oil change was great and customer service is always good, but not one employee was wearing mask, not even the one who got in my car to take it back. Also they did not wear gloves while inside my car. They also were not enforcing that their customers wear masks.

After calling on a Friday about a road ready inspection and was told I didnt need an appointment, I brought my vehicle in the next day and was told I couldnt get in until Monday as they only had 2 technicians. First person in the door on Monday morning and I was told that I needed to make an appointment and one wouldnt be available until Friday. Does anyone know what is going on in this shop? Ive come here 2 times for my vehicle needs and have been happy. But after this incident, I am reevaluating my choice. It only takes one bad experience.

Went there last week. Service was great but low and behold no one who works there is wearing a mask. None of the employees who worked in the back from what i could see was following the mandatory facial covering.Kind of disappointed, wont be back here.

My 2013 Hyundai Veloster had a oil leak in what I suspected was the oil cooler. When discussing it with the technician he mentioned a price to replace it while I was dropping it off and we ended up finding out it was in fact the oil cooler. They did the repair, same day, and had the car back to me. It had a lot of oil build up but they cleaned it up and made sure no more leaks were coming from the car. I usually do the repairs myself on vehicles but I was very impressed by this shop.

Took my 1999 Honda CRV to Sun Auto for broken control arm, axle etc ..charged me $1,100.00 after stating my budget was $700-$900 and when i drove away my car had a terrible loud squeaking noise i tried contacting the head mechanic letting him know about squeak he never returned my call...NOT HAPPY T ALL

Sun Auto on Blue Diamond rd has been awesome, several times I have taken my truck to them each time they fixed it right, the first time! I have never had to take it back for warranty work. They LITERALLY SAVED ME $3000.00 on a transmission rebuild!! These guys are worth every penny!!!!!!!!

I let my brakes go to where they failed, so my truck needed to be towed. I brought my truck to sun auto based on good reviews. Theyre diagnosis was that I needed new pads, new rotors, new calipers, a new brake booster, new master cylinder, and new fluid for $1600.Absolutely not, so I declined all the work, and told them Id do it myself. I didnt want to have to do it, but $1600 wasnt going to happen. I asked them how much for the diagnosis and Id be on my way. They said the diagnosis was free, but it screwed whoever checked it all. Too bad, shouldnt try to screw people. I fixed it myself and found out that it didnt need the brake booster, master cylinder, or one of the calipers. Just another shop trying to pad profits doing unnecessary work. The 2 stars is only because they were fairly nice, but also dishonest.

I have been following the GM of this location since he was at Firestone. He moved to another Sun Auto before opening this location. It was clear on the other side of town so I made the mistake of getting something fixed by someone else and regret it to this day. I’m still dealing with issues.Cameron, Jimmy, & the rest of the team are not your typical auto shop staff. They excel is customer service and don’t unnecessarily charge you for things you don’t need. Everyone knows the story about charging women who don’t know any better about cars. You won’t have to worry about that with this team. They are honest to their core. They are fair and know the foundation of what customer service is all about.I won’t make the mistake of going to anyone else again & will drive all the way across town to come here for it’s worth the service I get!! I recommend to anyone and everyone to take their car here. You won’t be disappointed.

I have brought my work truck into Sun on Blue Diamond twice now. 1st time they fixed my alternator in a quick and timely fashion at a great price. 2nd time my work truck was having issues with the battery keeping a charge. It ended up just being some bad connections due to the aftermarket parts I have in it. They looked at it and fixed it at no charge. Probably the best customer service I have dealt with at any auto repair shop. Extremely friendly and honest. A+

Incredible service! We are from California. My wifes car broke down while in town. All the dealer service centers we called could not get us in until the next week. My wife had only a day and a half left on her trip. Sun Auto Service was able to receive the car immediately, it was diagnosed and repaired that day! When she first arrived, she called me right away. The first thing she said was they are so nice. Not only did they make a stressful situation more comfortable, they were honest and fair with everything. They were a life saver.

I had a great experience with this shop. My final bill was a few bucks lower than what I was quoted. Jimmy was my point guy on this, great customer service.

Excellent customer service. My dad comes to this shop so I decided to stop here to get a second opinion on my tail light that wasn’t working after replacing the bulb with one I bought from autozone. The guys checked my car and said that they replaced the light bulb with a dealership quality light bulb and didn’t charge me for anything. They said they’re a family shop and to come back next time. It’s nice to know you can trust your repair shop. The shop I went to first tried to charge me $180 to replace a wire and that there was only one in the entire country.

Not very good customer service, tells you one thing and then does another. Also came in for an oil change and the guy told me its a 4hour wait you may just want to come back another day. He didnt offer me an appointment, ask if I wanted to wait, offer an apology, nothing... And there werent even any cars in the garages! Place is super clean though...

They lost the ps tank cap and I got a $&@ squirt all over... just picture that! then I asked what happened and say “ we don’t know... Anyway with all due respect when you bring back customer’s vehicle, make sure they are as they were.
