We came here for AC service since it’s been very hot here in Las Vegas Nevada. The Gentleman asked if our truck is running warm. We said no…a few moments later he asked again. And we both said no that we are just for normal maintenance since it’s been hot. It might need a re-charge of freon or something. A few more minutes goes by and he came in from the shop stating since our AC is running warm the compressor wasn’t working and kicking in when the mechanic turned it on. Again we reinstalled that the Air Conditioner is running fine, we are just bringing it in for regular maintenance. To make a long story short. At the end he apologized for making us worry. A little too late for that but at lease he apologized that’s why I gave it a three star ⭐️. So far the AC is running fine. I was a parts Manager for WM so I know a little about trucks and maintenance.Will I come here again… I doubt it.

I have been a customer of this Midas repair shop for about two years. Ever since my first transaction at this particular Midas, I have received excellent customer service by professionals that provide accurate details on what was going on with my vehicle. The manager, Tom, is helpful and will explain any issues that have been going on with your vehicle, once it has been diagnosed. The mechanics here do a great job as I have had my transmission rebuilt, radiator replaced, and shocks and strut work completed in the past. If you have a vehicle that needs routine or emergency repairs, Midas is the destination that can suit your needs.

Tom was extremely helpful. Was in a crunch to get my brakes done because, without any warning, I was suddenly metal on metal. They got me in ASAP and did a fantastic job getting me back on the road quickly and safely. 4 new pads and rotors and an overdue brake flush for a reasonable price. I have already recommended them to a friend.

This Midas location is great. Tom T. is upfront and answers all my questions. I am picky because I do most my own maintenance. Anything I cant do goes to him. I inspect the work afterwards and I have never found any problems, if fact i noticed they fixed a plastic fastener I had zip tied. Not the case for other places I have used. Car repair is expensive, so make sure to get it done right with the professionals at this location. I hope your experience is a great as mine!!

I’ve been going to this Midas for years and have not experienced any problems. They’ve worked on four of my cars, have been upfront on pricing, and complete the work within a day. Make an appointment a head of time so you know how much time is needed. They have worked with me if i needed to drop of a car overnight and called me as soon as they were able to look at it to go over the issues.

Well, seeing as I work there as an automotive tech, I know the inner workings of the establishment. We dont cut corners on our work. And I dont associate myself with companies that do. Im their brake, suspension and alignment tech. And I strive to complete every job like it was my own vehicle. Safety and reliability is standard with us. We do every job RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!

Made an appointment request online, email I got back said Id have a response to my request within 30 minutes. Never get a response. Call next day, over 12 hours later, and make an appointment over the phone for the next day at 4. Arrive the next day at 4. Says Im not even in their system. I already purchased a Groupon for this oil change, so I guess I should go about a refund. Horrendous customer service.

These guys are the best. As a single woman, Im always looking for someplace I can trust with my car. My sister comes here and recommended them - she has used them for her service the past year and always felt confident with their work. I agree. The gentlemen at this shop have nothing but your best interest in mind. I had an oil change and tune up done by Jon, and I can tell that he takes pride in his work. A very thorough inspection was preformed before any work was done, and they even brought me out to show me their concerns. What honesty! I cannot recommend this shop enough! I sure do miss that kid that welded my exhaust, he did a great job fixing the mess under my old 60s Packard ;)

Went for a Oil change and they inspected my brakes they did a outstanding job I recommend them.

They have done everything on my 06 GT so far and have done a good job every time and didnt have me wait to long. Been a while since I found a shop to trust to work on my car lol. Axle back exhaust, brake flush,Spark plugs all done right and quickly.

Amazing service! They did a total inspection of the car which I was not anticipating. Checked everything out and went above and beyond. Even rotated the tired with just a oil change! I will not go anywhere else.

Worst car service I have ever had. I took my car in for an alignment and literally got my car back exactly how it was. I told them it pulled to the left and it still does. They didn’t even straighten my steering wheel to at least make it look like they tried. Just horrible. I could have done a better job in my driveway with a piece of string and a tape measure. Do not take your car here.

Don’t ever get your brakes done here. My brakes been squealing since the replaced the pads. I took it back and and they said the brakes looks good - but yet they are still squealing. Never go to another Midas. Went to one in Chicago gave them a good review but I take that back I had to go to a Midas here in Vegas and come to find out the one in Chicago did not change the hardware. I should have learned my lesson. I recommend DONT USE this place for brakes.

Highly recommended. Honest people. I have a 9 years old, 124,000 plus miles car that needs services, Tom and his crew take the time to show me the cracked belts, cracked engine mount, front brake rotors that needs resurfaced, I also have my brake fluid and spark plug replaced. I am very happy that that they did the job right, not like the last Firestone auto center I went to that did not put the Brake rotor set screw after working on my brakes. My parents, who are 85, went in to have a bracket on their muffler replaced. They were treated great and were given excellent service. The price was so reasonable! Im so thankful there are still honest people who dont try to rip off senior citizens. Thank you Midas!

I took my 04 dodge ram in again to get some coil spring spacers installed. There were some issues but there was ample communication about the work being done and parts needed to complete install. Tom, the store manager, is a pleasure to work with and I am again a happy customer.

I went to the Midas located at 3400 N. Rancho in Las Vegas. They fixed my break problem but ripped holes in my leather seat. Now, the district manager did call me but seemed to want to clear is mechanic more than help me and claim my seat was like that when they got it. This place is horrible!!! I may have to conduct legal action to get my vehicle fixed!!!

01/9/2020Dropped off my 2018 silverado this morning for a muffler delete and I love the outcome. First of all my truck is stocked and I wanted a little rumble to it and so I decided to bring it to midas for them to do a muffler delete and replace it with a pipe and I am beyond stoked on how my truck sounds. Way better when I’m driving gives it that loud rumble sound. Definitely recommend this shop, I will be returning later on to have a full exhaust done here!!!!

Fair price and excellent service

2007 Mercury Grand Marquis GS: Had an issue with my struts, gave Tom (manager) a call had me bring it in the same day. Jon and Montgomery (hope that’s his right name but starts with a “M”) worked on it. Drove like a new car, VERY honest and to the point.

Had an expired Groupon but they honored it anyway. In and out without issues. Highly recommend bringing your vehicles here, will come back.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and after leaving noticed a strong shake in the wheel and odd noise. After returning to the shop they told me the tire was loose and had been replaced incorrectly and this ended up stripping the bolt that the lug nut attaches too. I was told to come back in the morning the next day and they would replace it. I showed up at 0730 at the stated opening time, but no one showed up until 0740 and then the manager said the workers don’t get into 0800 so I’d have to wait until then to get everything fixed. Definitely don’t recommend this Midas shop.

Employee quoted me $20 for the job was on the rack manager came out later and then said it would be $50 not right wont be back not upset just want me back

Very nice at the front office. Did take a very long time/ over an hour and half. The manager did compensate me for the time though. A day later the sensors on my car said all my tires were low on pressure. Not sure if that was them or my sensors, I reset them and they seemed/looked ok.In short,Manager very goodPeople working under him not so much.

Knowledgeable thorough, and reasonably priced! Brought my Jeep in on a Groupon for oil change with maintenance. They did a Full inspection and found everything I had noticed for the last few months. I was shown everything as they went and was given good advice/info on what was important to replace and when. Ive been driving second hand vehicles for 20 years and can say this is a good honest shop.

Great service, good guys. Tom and John took the time to thoroughly go over my vehicle, making sure the repairs were to OEM spec, and did what they could without requiring dealership repairs. The job wasnt rush, and I didnt get the feeling at any point they were trying to upsell me on services or parts.

The worst place I ever went to they over charged me for an oil change. I would not recommend this place to no one.

Extremely unprofessional. Didnt even bring the vehicle, and two phone calls later I am disgusted. First call I was told she had to find out the price, took all the vehicle info and my contact info. Never heard back. Second call, I was given the run around about the price (there is a $60 cheap version of the catalytic converter that I know will break in less than a year and the good one, which is discontinued and may cost anywhere between $1000-$1600). I gave him the engine specs and was STILL told he has no way of knowing unless I bring the vehicle in. Dude, Im a chick that KNOWS engines. If I had the equipment, Id do it myself. Dont talk to me like a dumb bimbo. The best he would do is say $350 and up, which is bs. Any garage can do this in about an hour and there is no catalytic for this vehicle that costs $250. Con artists.

I was really impressed with the service here! They were quick, friendly and professional. I really needed to get some repairs done, so that I could pass my smog check, and renew my registration. They got everything done in one day, and they weren’t obnoxious about upselling me. I was really happy with the service, and the price- I felt like everything was fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who needed to get their car repaired, because they made the hassle of getting my car repaired seem pretty painless ☺

Only place I go to get car work done

Stopped by after phone call with Tom about front end vibration at higher speeds. Tom got the car right in and there was a wheel weight im balance of 2 and 4 ounce on both front wheels. Technician rebalance, checked on the tire balancing machine...Drove for a extended test drive to ensure theshimmy in the front end / steering wheel was resolved. Recommend!

I had a check engine light come on and went to a few other places. They all said I needed a catalytic converter. Tom and Jon trouble shot it for me and it turned out to be only an O2 sensor. They saved me alot of money. All the other places wanted $1200 + for the repair. I will always bring my cars to this location. Great people!

They dont want you to use groupon so they can sell you stuff your viehcle doesnt need. They told me I needed calebirs just because they saw what appeared to be oil but it was WD40. They didnt do a real inspection just visual. From $120 just for pads price went up to almost $500++. I went somewhere else and got it done for $180 brake and rotors. Didnt need calibers. Do your research and get second opinion. DONT GET PLAYED. the Asians dude thinks he is slick

Wouldnt you know when visiting Vegas in my buddys car, we haveproblems with the radiator overheating. We were close to this Midas when it happened, so we figured we would be safe getting the repair done here, since they are a well known nationwide company.The staff was nice and very professional. They had the repair done in no time at all. The most surprising thing is, it was not too costly, considering we were from out of state (California).We had a very positive experience here and would recommend them to other potential customers.

Worst experience ever. Bought a Groupon and went in for oil change and rotation. Guy had no clue how to perform a rotation on a 4x4 and they snapped a lug doing it, then blamed it on discount tire who put the wheels on. Tried to charge me to fix it...I have since been told by the shop who did my oil change AND the parts store that the replacement should have been at Midas’ expense. They were beyond rude about the whole thing including the condescending “sweetie” and “honey” while explaining whyI didn’t know anything.Now I will be rotating my tires and fixing my wheel myself tomorrow night so I can off road this weekend. #midassucks #technicianfail. 1st off they have a GF on the door.. For my local GF friends not 1 person there can tell you what it means. Dont trust them based off that sign. 2nd dont purchase service from their expecting them to honor warranty. Double check any and all estimates and receipts. Luckily Im meticulous and keep everything but sometimes its just not worth it to fight with a mechanic its like yelling at the fast food worker before you get your food. I will have the work done elsewhere and file a complaint with Midas corporate.Update..thanks for responding. No thank you I will follow up with Midas direct and let them know what happened. The mechanic misdiagnosed what was wrong. It was a $20 cable not the master cylinder anyway so he can keep his $400 estimate i paid almost $1k for an entire new brake system and nobody thought to replace the recalled cable that catches fire. I had my 2 little ones with me who drive daily in that vehicle. For $20 your shop could have spoken up instead they put scamming me above my childrens safety.

I drew 40 min from my home to this location, just to be told, oh sorry I dont have time today to take in your car (oil change and regular maintenance). Pergaps he has to get a better understanding what appointment means and start act responsibly towards customers. I would NOT recommend this location!

Midas Oil Change at 3400 N. Rancho in Las Vegas Nevada is a total scam. I bought a Groupon for my wife so that she could get her oil changed. The Groupon was for, and clearly states good for one synthetic-blend oil change. According to the Groupon, you must make an appointment first. My wife called numerous time over the course of two hours. Finally, she was able to get through and make her appointment. When she arrived at the N. Rancho store, she was greeted by a very rude employee with grey hair, when my wife asked for his name, he refused to give it to her. He then proceeded to chew her out for bringing in the printed version of the Groupon. The Groupon clearly states that the printed version is perfectly acceptable. Once this mental midget got beyond the fact that he was presented with a paper copy of the Groupon, he proceeded to tell my wife, that the synthetic-blend would cost extra. This is beside the fact that the Groupon specifically states for synthetic-blend. In addition, this so called “technician” told my wife that her vehicle takes 7 quarts of oil. Really? I have changed oil in her 2012 Camaro V-6 many times. It’s obvious that they were trying to scam my wife for an extra quart. It is quite apparent that this is a common practice for this particular location. There was another female customer present, and they were pulling the same scam her as well. My wife asked for the technicians name once more and which he refused again to give her his name. She immediately left without her oil change completely discussed with this establishment.In closing, this location seems to be scamming women. Take this advise and stay away from this place of business. I am 100% certain that this review will be deleted in an attempt to continue their scam. However, this is only the beginning. I will continue with blasting this location until there is an apology from the manager.

I do a lot of driving for my job, so my car needs regular maintenance and this place is my go-to auto shop in Las Vegas. Service is consistently prompt (every job Ive sent their way has been completed in less time than I expected). Their rates are very competitive and theyre staffed with top-notch mechanics who are willing to answer any and all questions. For both maintenance and repairs, I trust these guys implicitly.

Had an excellent experience with this shop and would highly recommend them to anyone. Tom answered every question I had, even the ignorant ones, and he did so with honesty, integrity and respect. We brought our car in after taking it to another shop (who didnt diagnose or fix our issues properly) and Tom did a great job of explaining what was wrong, what needed to be done, and didnt over sell us on anything. I wish I knew the techs name that worked on our car (4/3/19) and Id give him a shout out here as well. We brought the car in with numerous issues and when we left the shop, every single issue was resolved and the car drove like new. The quality of work and timeliness of the repairs was superior. Not to mention, these two guys went above and beyond and stayed 20 minutes late just to accommodate our schedule. My hat goes off to these two guys, they have made us customers of this shop for life!

Not recommended. The waiting area is filthy, and they add extra service fees. Weve gone here twice, first time they almost lost a part while doing an oil change and the second time the guys doing the work got very very rude, almost confrontational with my boyfriend. They could not rotate my tires because they did not have the correct socket, and some how he thought suggesting we go to discount tire to have my lugs was the answer. Lol!! Really???? Beware! They caught my Cadillac on fire and was charging me to repair! I have video! I took my 1970 lemans sport and they crashed it! They didnt tell me anything until I went sears for alignment and noticed damage. Now I had re replace the front end and radiator. They put stop leak in my radiator that they damaged in the crash. The Midas headquarters and they did nothing!.. They told me i need to stop complaining! They stole parts from me and destroyed my cars!!!!!!

Where to begin. Stopped by and explained my situation with my car to them prior to making an appointment to make sure they would be able to fix it. I am a retired mechanic while in college for 15 years. So, I was very aware of the situation with my MGB. So, I took my MGB into them, talking directly to Jon (Midas Mechanic) and Tom and explained exactly what was required. Was told it would cost about $100-150 but they would let me know exactly. I never got a firm price, I never got any correspondence about what was going on, if it was repaired so I contacted them. They told me he worked on it for over 3 hours but couldnt or didnt do anything. My first thought was it should take 20-30 minutes at tops to realize weather or not you can fix something. Not 3 hours. So they said they would get back to me later and come up with a new game plan, or research it. Never heard a word from them. It never happened so a day later, I go down to their shop and my car is sitting outside. I go in and was basically told they couldnt do anything or they would have to do this or that. So I told them I will just take my car. They charged me $100 for doing nothing, and after I got back to my garage I noticed that the bolts on the exhaust manifold now were completely stripped........and it cost me $100.00 for them to do that. So you be the judge. I personally wouldnt have even given them a one star if I could have. For simple things that are easy, oil change etc. this is the place. For anything technical........take it to a professional mechanic with proven experience.And Tom, before your boilplate response, yes I am not happy and your correspondence and truthfulness is terrible.

Walked in for an oil change. A fairly obese man told me they can fit me in. When it was time to checkout, I inquired about any coupons. The obese man stated he didnt know what was out there. Once I found a coupon, which was supposed to include a tire rotation, I was told that I need to call ahead for that next time. Rick (manager of this location), your mechanic did not do me any favors by changing my oil today. I couldve easily gone some place else if Id known the service was going to be this crappie. Thanks for nothing.

I went to the one on Rainbow with the last Groupon I bought to get an oil change and a week later I had an issue with my car, the air compressor clutch is stuck. Im not blaming them for this but my oil was checked while we were discovering the issue with my car and I was told that I was extremely low on oil. I emailed the Midas and never received an answer back.

I took my car here because its close to my office. I took it in for a oil change. They told me they would do a inspection on the vehicle, vacuum it out, and top off fluids. Great! I knew my power steering and wiper fluid were low.Noo.. not great. When i came to pickup my vehicle they told me that my automatic transmission was slipping and needed service. My vehicle is a manual transmission. When i mentioned this he said. oh the guy who worked on your car is new my bad and crossed it off. Then he went down the list and said they topped of my fluids and how much they put in of each fluid. I asked if they filled my power steering and he said yes it took about half a bottle. I asked if they used the Audi approved power steering and he kinda fumbled around. I opened the hood and .... no power steering fluid was put in. hmmm lets check the washer fluid. nope nothing in there either. check inside of vehicle. nope didnt vacuum. I asked him, how can i be sure you even changed my oil? he said dont worry about it and gave me $20 off my appointment.Needless to say i took my vehicle to a different company the following week and had them do a full oil change and check the fluids and so on. They did a great job and funny thing. they didnt think my auto transmission was slipping in my manual transmission vehicle like Midas did......Wish i could give them negative star review

As a single woman, with no knowledge of car maintenance other than put in gas, I was always afraid I will be taken advantage of by mechanics. I started going to Midas about two years ago and have never been worried since. Just last week I went in for someone to look at my brakes because they were squealing. The mechanic took a look and came back to tell me that there was nothing wrong, they had just gotten wet in the heavy rain we had. I was really surprised. I have always been treated fair when I had an oil change or tune-up but thought for sure they would say I needed all new brakes whether I did or not. I like feeling confidant that I am not being ripped off when I go there.

If you want honest and quality work, this is the place you will find it!

I scheduled an appointment at this location for Monday afternoon, before my road trip, with a gentleman who confirmed 3:30PM with me via telephone. I arrive at this location at 3:30PM and they tell me the appointment has been canceled and because my appointment was at 3:15pm and that the only person that could do the oil change left for the day!! And they don’t “close” until 6PM! I know for sure I was told 3:30PM because I put it in my calendar as he told me the time! I now had to push back my trip and scrambled to find another location who could do my oil change. Very disappointed!!
