I just got into Vegas for the night, on my way to the Grand Canyon tomorrow. The last time I filled up with gas I noticed my oil was a little dark and slightly low. I tried to find a Jiffy Lube or some other chain lube shop, but they were all 20 or more minutes across the strip. I chanced upon Leavitts Auto Care (using Google search), located at 5359 Decatur, off of Hacienda, just south of the strip; which was right around the corner from where I was staying. The staff were getting ready to close for a staff/training meeting, but happily told me it would be no problem to handle my service and not just send me away. Not only were they friendly and willing, they were prompt and professional. Leavitts specializes in complete auto care, which as a full service shop can fix, replace and maintain all of your auto needs. Also I would like to mention that the cost of my service, a simple oil and filter change, was almost ten dollars cheaper than that of any of the larger chains. One more IMPORTANT NOTE, Google Maps has the address listed as right on the corner where the PitStop is, but its actually back behind PTs in the shop spaces at the far corner, so dont be afraid to drive back and seek it out, because it is not easily visible from the street while driving by. Give these guys a call next time you need an auto expert.

Even though these guys werent able to replace my engine, they were very friendly and accommodating in letting me figure out what to do with my car. They allowed me to use their parking until a flatbed arrived to tow my car back to San Diego and for that Im grateful!

We have been going to Leavitts for around 5 years. Great family owned and operated mechanic. They always get us in same day and are honest about costs. One time I took my van in because it was shaking horribly and I thought something major was wrong with it. They informed me that it just needed new tires, directed me to a reputable tire store, and didnt even charge me for their services to check it. We are always happy with their work and highly recommend.

In February I was unable to start my automobile. I had it towed to Leavitts and after several hours of trying to determine the cause, it was determined that the spare key I was using was not properly programmed, and the reason for my car not starting. All in all they were very courteous and supportive of the situation, and after all the hours they spent in trying to solve the issue, I was only charged a minimal amount. I would definitely recommend Leavitts Auto Care for all your automobile needs.

No Thank You!!! The 1st Experience was my wife started to overheat in our car on a 2002 Malibu, I said get it to Leavitts! Quoted me a price for $250... A year later the same thing happened and I decided to fix it myself! (All it was, was the reservoir and 4 minutes) Reservoir was $35 and time HONESTLY 5 minutes!!! Im LDS & thought for sure they were honest? I brought my last vehicle in, a work truck, they seemed needed a new engine but my Fire Extinguisher was taken! Come on?!!! Sad experience everytine!!!

I must say, this company went above and beyond my expectations of good customer service. I found Leavitts Auto Care online when my alternator started having issues. They quickly repaired my BMW with genuine parts and got me back on the road. Its not very often you find a company that treats you like a preferred customer the first time you shop there.

I have been going to Leavitts for the past 7 years or so and I would trust no other with my car! The Leavitt team is honest and will not try to scam you. I recently brought my car in for some transmission issues and rather than trying to sell me on a whole new tranny (costing over $3,000) they told me I should check with my dealer as my car has been known to have transmission issues and that it would probably be covered in my warranty. Well sure enough, they were right. I called my dealer and they put in a whole new transmission free of charge. This shows just how AMAZING and customer-service oriented Jim and his team are. They could have easily made a sale off of me, but they put my needs first and that is why I will only go here. Thank you Jim and your wonderful team!

I hate trying to find people take care of the my car. I am always nervous about being taken advantage of. I went to Leavitts Auto Care after being referred by a couple different people and was very satisfied. I had multiple leaks in my van that they addressed with me and took time to show me so I understood what was needed and what wasnt. I priced out over the phone with other businesses and they were very competitive with the going rate. I highly recommend.

HORRIBLE!!! I hired Leavitts to fix a simple window problem and I had nothing but problems. When I picked up my car they made me prepay for the repair (shame on me-never do this) and then when I got in my car I immediately noticed that the window still did not work. I got out my car and notified Jim and he looked at it, he admitted it was still broken, but he refused to refund my money AND refused to fix it. I explained to him that I had just paid him over $700 to have the window fixed and it still wasnt fixed at which point he grew into an absolute RAGE. He SCREAMED profanities at me (in front of customers no less), told me to kiss his you know what, and that I was full of you know what. So there I was, out $700 and my window was still broken. I then had to take my car to a different mechanic, a competent one, where it was properly fixed.

I have been going to Leavitts Auto Care since I moved to Las Vegas 11 years ago. I will not take my car anywhere else. They have always been fair and have done excellent repair work on my car. Ive had a few different cars checked out and worked on here (Acura MDX, Honda CR-V, Lexus ES). Work has always been good and explanations were understandable. They let me know what my options were, including what kind of timetables I could anticipate (ex. how long I could get away with putting a repair off before compromising something). I have only had great experiences with this shop.

Was just going through old paperwork and came across an invoice from 12/2012 for these guys. They fixed a wheel bearing and I drove from LV to WA before the squealing came back. I took it in to a shop in WA and they said that my wheel bearing had gone out again. How? Because the person who worked at Leavitts didnt put a part back on when they worked on my car. Thanks guys you should probably take that Service with Integrity off from your invoices. I dont remember much because it was in the middle of a move and I was still a kid, but I believe that I tried to get a refund and the owner never got back to me. Rotten service.

Best experience ive had at a repair shop. Danny was friendly and included complementary diagnostics with my visit. He even dealt with questions i had not concerning my visit. He oferred me honest opinions with honest interest. A great business with a great family atmosphere.

Leavitts Auto Care is the only place in town I trust. They arent necessarily the least expensive, but, for example, if you only need brake pads they dont tell you that you need rotors, etc like a lot of the name repair places. They are the most ethical auto shop in Las Vegas.

I had just driven my Sienna from NYC and wanted my car to get a checkup before I drove it back. I was worried that I had damaged the car while driving it. Not only did Jim check my car thoroughly, he explained to me that services that I thought I needed were unnecessary. And to top it all off, they didnt charge me. This is a great shop for out- of-towners who are worried about getting ripped off in Vegas. And thanks to Linda for fitting me in without an appointment.

I originally brought my 2000 Buick LeSabre in to diagnose and resolve an ABS light that turned on 40 MPH. Also, there was consitent and constant noise and vibration that came from the vehicle when it accellerated at high speeds 70-80 MPH. On Christmas weekend 2016, I brought my vehicle in to the shop; after 3 hours I recieved a call about the issue and the price of the wheel bearing needing to be replaced. I was told that the ABS is completely resolved and that noise and vibration is sort of fixed.After two days, at 70 MPH, the issue is there. The ABS light came on consistently at that speed. What is worst than that, is that violent vibration is no where near resolved, and it made worst noise than when I first came in there. During New Years holiday weekend, I brought it back. I spoke to the owners son, and he acted as if he did not want to take my vehicle. I was assured that my issue would be resolved.The owner, Mr. Leavitt called me, and had hostility in his voice. I asked him simple questions; Why wasnt fixed in the first place?, Is it the wheel bearing still?, Does the ABS light come on at high speeds past 70 MPH?, Did you fix the vibration (that is obviously caused by the issue)?. I was told by the owner, that it was tested at 90 MPH, and the ABS light did not come on, and the mechanic working on my issue did not notice any vibration at higher speeds. Also, he thought that I was looking to argue (I did no such thing, I was very respectful and polite) he gave a poor rebuttal that Dont you know that there are other issues with this vehicle? I am aware that the vehicle is 17 years of age, yet I asked you to fix the ABS light and the vibration, nothing more. It was not fixed after 2 visits across town.I was treated poorly, and I was looked at as some dumb Black kid that has no idea of taking care of his vehicle. There was no explaination of the vibration, if the issue was not fully resolved, or could not be resolved, I expect honesty. Especially from a Mom and Pop business. I am more dissapointed than anything, that this family business from Canada is just like every other shady auto place here in Las Vegas. I did not ask for kind of fixed, I asked for the car to be maintenanced for the ABS light, it was not. I gave them 380+ dollars that I worked hard for, so that it could be done. It was not. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! If you are new to the Vegas area, or were referred, they do not care about people, only money!

Fixed my radiator same day. Everyone was extremely friendly and the price was fair, I was quoted the same by another auto care place.

I went into the Leavitts to get a CPS (crankshaft positioning sensor) on my Honda Civic. I paid them and part was fixed and I returned home to California. 30 days later the part breaks same part. I call the shop and they say they need 4 days to send it to me. So I pay my local repairman who I have been going to for a few years to fix the same part. Leavitts says send the parft back and we will issue you a check. My shop not me sent the part to them so I didnt have to cover cost to ship. 3 weeks later Leavitts still says they have not recieved it and I cant get a refund. So Im out 300 for the first repair then 300 for the same one again. Scammer scammer scammer shadey shadey shadey yall are just like tipcal horror story car repair! Bewares Californians these creatures will do you wrong..
