I have been to Daves a few times and believe them to be honest and fair. Its so hard to find honesty at these auto repair shops but i think Ive finally found one. Took my car in to have the radiator looked at and the owner told me to make sure it wasnt under warranty before he did anything cause I had it done elsewhere. He could have just taken my money without that information but he didnt. Ends up he installed a new radiator at a decent price and a fair amount of time. Definitely recommend this Auto repair shop. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this auto shop! I used to take my vehicle to Honest 1 auto in Henderson but after new ownership I decided to shop around. After many calls, reading through reviews, I decided to give this shop a go, I got in contact with Armando who was very helpful, honest and attentive. I told him what was going on with my car which happened to be on a Saturday, he told me to bring it in and I did, turns out both axels needed to be replaced, rear brakes and rotors as well. My car was repaired 100% with quick efficiency. Not only have they gained me as a customer but I would recommend this shop to any and all of my acquaintances. I cannot recommend Daves Auto Repair enough!While I am a California resident who has a mechanic back home, I spend quite a bit of time here in Las Vegas for work. This week, I found myself with what was only a semi-functional air conditioner, which is no good in the desert heat. Needless to say, I immediately got down to trying to find a reliable, honest shop I could go to that wouldnt take advantage of me just because Im a woman (or because Im not the most auto-savvy person myself). This shops amazing reviews sold me, so thank you, fellow Yelpers, for leading me to the right spot.Not only did they get my AC blowing cooler than ever in record time, but the nicest, most straight up guy Ive ever met. His pricing was more than fair and he explained it well, even telling me that he knows he could charge more, but he wants to be able to sleep at night knowing he takes care of people and treats them right. How amazing is that?I am thrilled to have found an auto repair shop near my place here in Vegas, but I am absolutely also going to be referring all of my friends and family. Seriously: this is a great shop and you wont regret going for your car.

Definitely recommend Daves for your auto repair! I had them fix my AC last year July 2017, reasonable price nice friendly service and quick. Yesterday my AC just started blowing hot! I was upset but called about 10 mins to 4 and said I was coming. They waited for me and started checking the AC before I knew it they where replacing the compressor and no hesitation to fix under the warranty! Stayed late for me what a great place to go!

I should have done this review a long time ago. I was coming through town hauling my fifth wheel with a pickup that had seen better days. When I finally got to Las Vegas in the middle of the night on my cross country road trip, I knew I wouldnt make it further without help. I found this shop the next day on Google and they were kind enough to squeeze me in. My problem ended up being relatively simple but the expert advice was well worth the visit. Nice, down to earth guys that run an honest business! If youre ever in a pickle, give them a call and you wont have to worry about being cheated. They are more than fair.

I have used Daves Auto Repair four times and Ken is one of the most honest men I have ever met. The air bag suspension system was going out on my older Lincoln Mark VIII and the dealer wanted thousands for the repair (which I understand) but never mentioned an alternative.Ken suggested that we just replace the air system with normal shocks and for around 75 % less I had my car back with as smooth a ride as she had the day she rolled off the showroom floor. The other services were all normal maintenance issues and AC charging etc...Great job and very fair pricing each and every time....I recommend Daves Auto Repair at the highest level.Robert S. I was recently quoted almost $900 to fix my car - stating that the diagnostic report indicated various things I needed done; took my car to Daves and the diagnostic said my car was great, nothing a simple idle adjustment didnt fix. Unlike many shops, he doesn’t over charge. Probably the most honest mechanic I have ever come across. He not only gave me a reasonable price for the work that had to be done, but he also advised me on how to fix little things myself to save money. It would be foolish to bring your vehicle to any other place.

I went and got my brake pads replaced and oil changed. They did a great job and worked fast with that. The next day one of the brake pads came off while I was driving (faulty pad, not mechanics fault).I called and they sent a mechanic out to fix it, had me bring it back and proceeded to replace my rotors and give me upgraded brake pads free of charge. Great people and have gained a long time customer.

I am NOT a car savvy guy. Anyway I had a steering fluid leaking faster than i could top it off. Took it to Daves turns out the hose popped loose, after identifying the issue and explaining it to me they charged a great price. Im so happy to have a mechanic nearby who I trust NOT to rip me off like other shops would!

Great & very helpful service. I came here for two days on a car that I bought which was a lemon car. I had been ripped-off at a local used dealership. Bought a car with a dysfunctional transmission. Daves Auto Repair helped answered all my curiosities about my messed up car & even did free diagnostics. This is a place where they care about other peoples safety & money. I think one star is too much for this place. No friendly and no professional. I took my old car over there. They told me, I need spend 2 grands to fix my car in a very rude manners and no gave to much chance to ask for alternatives, I dont know why treat me like that, I am Latino with dark skin, I been living in USA for 30 years and never before I felt discriminated like they treat me. I took my car over other shop and I spend $ 800 and my old Kia Spectra 2002 now running smoothly like a new car. Thanks Daves Auto Repair for deny me the service of my car.

I will only take my cars here; they are absolutely the best. Responsive, honest, do excellent work, etc. They dont try to sell you a bunch of unneeded extras, but give you a range of solutions (if there happen to be a range) to fix what is needed now vs what might be needed in the near future.
