This is a very nice community, close to everything, well kept and just beautiful.

Everyone you see posting about it being nice here is doing so cause the apartment offered them a discount for doing so. Ive lived here for 2 years now and have had my car broken into two times (front office told me tough luck both times) and on top of that on our second year of living here the rent actually went up. This place is terrible as far as how they run it. The maintenance guys are cool theyll always be ready to help but the ladies at the front desk are absolutely horrible. I literally would give zero stars of possibe.

This place is amazing!!!! I’ve been living here for over 2 years and my family and I love it. We feel safe and the neighbors are friendly. My townhouse is spacious and beautiful.The amenities are great, pool is very clean with a very nice jacuzzi. there’s a beautiful patio are where you can bbq with beautiful lighting.They have a gym that has all the equipments you need and it’s well kept and very clean. We take morning walks and night walks and it’s just wonderful. Anytime you need maintenance they are quick to respond and fix the problem. Angel and his maintenance team are very nice. Kelly, who works in the front office, is amazing at what she does and goes beyond and above to help, she’s just like family. Jamie, the manager, is one of a kind, very nice, understanding and goes beyond her job. I’m very sad to leave this place because it’s been nothing but a wonderful experience for me and my family here.

I moved into this community 2yrs ago, I have had a wonderful experience all the way around. Initially I was introduced to a sister community but felt Sahara West’s location was absolutely perfect! If I was not looking to downsize and escape the increasing rent price I would definitely have renewed my lease for a 3rd year.I have never had an issue with maintenance or leasing staff, the property is always clean, and from building 14-18 there has not been any issues of vandalism or domestic disturbances that I have personally witnessed or seen reported. With any community there will be some negative experiences and stories but from my 2yr experiences with such a great location it’s almost like a hidden community.Covid-19 has made everyone very cautious, the staff and leasing office have still been incredibly helpful and informative with any additional information for renters struggling to make rent. Thru email communication I have seen several different program options offered to current residents to help stay as current in rent payments as reasonably possible.There are many options to choose from but I would give this community 5 glaring stars for the great experience I’ve had here. There were holiday events and raffles as well as opportunities for decreased rent with simple resident survey submissions.Only complaint would be about the continuous issue with parking, however as my lease is ending Sahara West has addressed the issue moving into the new year. I believe the lack of resident parking will be addressed with new restrictions for leasing terms.Sincerely,~~ Satisfied Past Tenant

5 stars because from the moment I called to inquire about the place, all the way to move in date, they have been nothing but the best! I moved in right around the time everything shut down due to COVID. They’ve been so understanding and helpful. My ac went out recently, I put in an order and the maintenance tech was knocking on my door within the hour! Got it fixed super fast and he was super respectful.I originally came here to inquire about the 2 and 3 bedroom apartments but I fell in-love with the townhouse! I only wish I went for the 2 car garage because my SUV is huge but complex is beautiful and well kept. My neighbors are respectful, DHL once left my package at a different apartment building and my neighbor walked all the way to my apartment to make sure I got it.My townhouse is super roomy and we can’t even hear our neighbors. Great place to live!

This lovely Apartment complex has amazing amenities, spacious and updated interiors, a great maintenance team, and great management! I love how quiet it is here and how respectful everyone is of one another. This complex has a lovely fitness room, jacuzzi, heated swimming pools, a mini park for children, lounge areas, and a little area with REAL grass for your fur babies! I looked at several apartments but the moment I stepped foot into Sahara West Leasing office I knew this would be my new home. I would highly recommend the Sahara West Apartments to any looking for a new place to call home.

I drive by almost every day, on my way to the park. Im looking to move when Im current lease expires in December. They look well kept from the outside. I especially like the townhouses on Torrey pines. Im going to have to check them out.

The property management team is the best I’ve ever experienced. Maintenance requests are easy and handled quickly. The property itself is well maintained and I feel safe in my home.

Management is on top of it! Unit was extremely clean upon move in and the grounds/facilities are well kept. A had a couple of minor things that needed to be fixed during my lease and it was taken care of the same day. When I moved out, I was not over-charged for cleaning, etc. as some shady places will do. The location is convenient, and I felt safe living there. Occasionally neighbors were loud or a dispute took place, but hey, that is apartment living (unfortunately).

If we werent eventually going to be buying property of our own, we would live here forever!

I lived at Sahara West for 15 months, and would have stayed there indefinitely had it been an option. The landscaping/amenities were FABULOUS, and the staff? Both office staff and maintenance staff were AMAZING. I have rented for many years, and never have I rented somewhere where I felt like i was more than a monthly payment. This is a great property with a great staff!

I dont know anything about this place.I was doing a research and when I read about peoples comments.....I was shoked that after all that complains.....The management respond was just saying ..... sorry.....How about trying to work so hard to change the things around and make people happy.

I lived there for 3 years and the office staff and maintenance staff are beyond great. The problem I had were the neighbors lack of consideration for others, neighbors who think they are the only ones who live at the complex and its hard to relax at the pool. If you are in a building with considerate neighbors you should really have no problems.

The walls are thin and you can smell neighbors who smoke like chimneys. There is a pleb neighbor who moved in below me and all he does is chain smoke. The smoke rises and has no where else to go but up! The smell gives me a stuffy nose,itchy throat,and shortness of breath. I’ve had issues with my lungs when I was a kid and the burn pits overseas didn’t help but none of that matters because the management is absolutely useless in this situation. I now have to find another place to live where they don’t smoke and have respect for neighbors who don’t want to inhale the filthy habits of these smokers.When people smoke indoors,that means they disable their smoke alarms and that alone is a danger to the rest of us. If they actually start a fire,how will the rest of us know when a fire is happening ? I am disabled and cannot jump out of an upstairs window if a fire starts below me and unable to exit out the door. My other upstairs neighbor is an elder man and he is at risk too because smokers have a higher chance of starting fires. Once again,management is useless and having these people in the building is hazardous to all the tenants in the building.

My roommates and I have lived at Sahara West for about 16 months now and we absolutely fell in love with the community at first. Maintenance was quick, staff was friendly and the neighbourhood was okay for the most part so we even renewed our lease for another 9 months. We ran into a number of issues shortly thereafter including having to replace personal items due to faulty installation of the master bathroom mirror, as well as some confusion around our lease renawal. However, Lauren quickly followed up with my roommate regarding this and was able to address our concerns. Im super thankful for that.

Will be back for sure. my family just enjoyed our stay and will definitely tell everyone about this place

Do not rent an apartment here! I’ve been here for two years and the first year was fine, but this year is awful. I got my bag stolen at the pool, loud neighbors, lots of homeless people around, I always smell weed during the evening. Parking lot supposed to be only for residents but during the late evening there is no space, lots of cars without permit. And today they’ve been doing some work at sidewalk near the parking without any warning. I washed my car yesterday and it’s fully covered with dust. I went to the leasing office. No apologies. Just “ok”. I wouldn’t renew my contract here. It’s a great location, close to everything but awful office and it’s not safe.

This is the best complex in vegas that Ive lived in. Very clean. I cant stress that enough. Ive never had any issues other than a smoke alarm and maintaince was very efficient and timely. The office is very nice and helpful.

I love the floor plans and I also love the management here! To be more specific the Apartment Manager has a wonderful attitude which makes this moving in experience a lot more comforting!

Ive been living here 10yrs.I love living here and anyone would too.Great staff who are always there to help in anyway they can.Grounds are kept really well.If anything goes wrong in your apt there are competent maintenance available all the time and I really appreciate that you dont have to wait.Sahara West always post activities at the mailroom so you cant miss it if you want to participate. The pools are always clean.The area called the Plaza where entertainment can be had with Friends or family and in some cases the office will have a social event.The work out room(gym) is always clean and available with good working equipment. The area is a convient location to anywhere.I Love where I live and one more thing if you have pets they provide poop bags to pick up after your pet and garbage cans in various convient locations where the path to walk your pets.RHONDA SAYSSAHARA WEST A NICE PLACE TO LIVE !!!

Recent burglarys in the complex they say we have security but i never see them, used to be a good neighborhood now not so sure

Very nice apt!Until you are forced out with your family.Neighbors complain about noise violation, walls are paper thin construction flaw.No music can be played at reasonable level without problems.Upstairs ac does not work all that great.You cant work on your car in garage.Management is bias to new renters over longtime stay tenants.Townhouse is overated an no place for kids to play.My truck was vandalized also becuase theres no real security on the property.This complex is mainly for the management and staff that lives here.ITS CLEAN BUT NOT WORTH THE PROBLEMS.

We love this place! We moved West Sahara Apartments. Leasing office staffs are very friendly and kind, especially Vivi and Kathy. Angel from maintanence helped us a lot. Fitness room is clean, conplex is clean in general, our apartment is comfortable. Good choise.

Terrible . When we moved in the carpet was so dirty that walking barefoot would leave our feet black. One year after, when I left, we were charged for the whole carpet in the apartment because, according to them, we left it very dirty and they had to change it all.
