Considering the lvl of athletic ability in this place it was quite a surprise and pleasant joy to get it in at this humble spot.Fairly sexy bods galore and humble pie, even saw a beefcake help out a Cinderella with grip placement! Also clean through and through! Thx pfit!

For clarification I Signed up for a build your program, WENT IN to my appt at 6:45am and was told the trainer had something come up so I was rescheduled to the afternoon, I went in spoke to the trainer and 2 weeks later I still have not received it. Called in 3 times even spoke to the trainer and I never received my plan. Needless to say I’ve canceled my membership and will enroll else where. Best time to go is before 9AM.. after 6PM it’s hot, packed and cleaning stations are empty which is not ideal considering we are in the middle of a pandemic.

I have not had a bad experience any of the times Ive been there. Staff is helpful and people mind their own business. Its good overall

Cool, clean, welcoming environment. It does get pretty busy at certain times, but you can download the app to help with that. I wish its parking was in a better position.

Love that its open 24 hours staff is great and equipment is easy to use and theres enough sanitation products so we can clean our equipment before and after.

Been going since October 2020 and I have never seen this gym dirty, they are always cleaning and sanitizing everything. I love it to be honest. It is helping me a lot in accomplishing my health goals.I dont know why people like paying 70dlls for a gym membership when you can get the same quality at Planet fitness (Not sponsored, I just dont know why people pay so much for a gym membership elsewhere!!).

Plenty of exercise machines, good hours 24/7, very reasonable prices, shower when needed, very clean.

Good sized gym. Has three different fitness areas as well which is nice and one has the jungle gym setup. Tons of treadmills and it has the VIP lounge as well. I didnt take advantage of that since I was in town for a short period of time for work but had a good experience at this gym. The one thing I will hit them on and reccomend they get more of are the smith machines. There are people who will get on one and stay on it for over an hour and while this may not be an issue at gyms with power racks, with a gym the size of Laredos and the fact there are only four of them...its an issue.Post My Review on Google

I only do cardio, Planet Fitness has enough treadmills and stationary bikes that you dont wait. I only wish they play 70s & 80s music. Ive noticed the people that go workout at the time I go the age ranges from 45 - 65... overall it is a good place to go workout.

This is the best planet fitness I have ever been to! It is bright and large enough where you don’t feel like you’re bumping into people. I love the Precor weight machines. The staff are all very friendly and helpful

Came to sign up my son and I should be the one working there instead, I was the one giving him the tour and showing him the gym. The 2 girls(Erika & Krissy) in the front desk were more busy standing there not doing anything but searching on the computer for pasta and talking to each other while Im over here telling him where everything was. They were fast enough to make the agreement and taking my money then actually helping us. Customer Service wasnt there but overall the gym itself is great.

I drive a truck and have national membership to Planet Fitness thus visit many across the country. This one is probably the best. Always clean. They did require masks to be worn but got over that nonsense thanks to Gov Abbott.I would like to mention staff member Angie....what an asset she is to your organization. She is very professional. After I worked out, I sat and read some of my book on France post Revolution. She inquired what I was reading and we talked about Napoleon briefly. Conversations like that are extremely rare. I was enamored.I shall return!

Equipment is usually clean, but make sure to wipe down before using. The “wipe down after use” rule is not enforced by the staff and you tend to notice it when every machine has wet butt marks on it. Manager Ryan(?) said that “posted rules aren’t enforced and that’s the way it is in Laredo. People don’t care.”All in all, it’s worth the money. It’s clean-ish, never too packed and has lots a amenities. You just get what you pay for.

Cassie help me with my membership she was awesome and later on that day I came into work out and Maggie was super nice and introduced herself and let me know that I am welcome there. I appreciate the professionalism and I appreciate the kindness I will be going to Planet Fitness on a regular basis.

Great facilities, great attentive staff, everything is always clean too to bottom. And unlike other gyms they offer WiFi so it’s easier to stay connected and even work while your there. Top to bottom worth every penny. Puts all others gyms to shame.

It is a great place after receiving 99 therapy at opt and having 60% of my shoulder moving I have increased the movement almost to 100% because I had a full shoulder replacement . The machines are great the cleaning is great and the solutions for the client is awesome which makes it an exceptional place

Good place for cardio and dumbell workouts since there is plenty of equipment. Staff keeps the place clean but arent very friendly. There is long wait for the machines and people hog the benches. If you have the comodity to work out out of the peak ours its a good gym to go to, otherwise probably not.

This place is a really good for a workout...but since covid is still going on I did not feel comfortable with the amount of people that were there...the place was absolutely packed. Every machine had at least one person on it but other than that I would definitely go again after covid

Great to workout on weekends, few to no people at all. Can easily move around and use all equipment.

Not sure why this place closed on valentines day. There are tons of single people with nothing to do including myself. If that wasnt bad enough, i go back the next morning at 11 to catch up on the workout i missed the prev night only to find this place still closed. Is this place closed on presidents day too?

Today I was approached no greeting or hello and told very rude manner that my bag wasn’t allowed with me before I was able to explain I have my ppe in bag for lifting I was cut off aggressively and was told those are the rules and mean mugged by this staff member if your a serious weight lifter do not come here or u will be harassed for being your own safety items

Im a driver and I go around all the gyms in the US no one had such measures at the time of the crown I put the padlock immediately they cut The showers didnt work

The gym is clean and the employees are awesome!. Everyone here does wear masks 😷 and would recommend it.

My favorite gym, took advantage of the tanning bed lastnight. Very relaxing... only issue I have is the scale in the womans locker room is always broken so I just invested in a home one no biggy though.

The worst club. masks have been canceled throughout the state. people continue to be killed here, its terrible

Its a very friendly place, they have a lot of new equipment. Even though theres a lot of people equipment is available

The facility is clean and well lit inside and out. I went after midnight on a Saturday, there were very few people which was to be expected. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is a bit small, but has a decent number of machines for the size. I definitely recommend this facility for beginners.

Super clean. Maintenance is on point. My only real complaint is the weight machines, everything is too damn close to each other. The leg press is super close to the pec deck machine. But its worth getting a membership here.

My go to gym! I love that they are open 24/7, the equipment is always in working condition and the outside is well lit at night. The place is always clean and they have very friendly and helpful staff!

I love how attentive the Trainer (Edgar) is when he is directing a class and/ or in the design your plan. He explains everything and makes sure that everything fits us individually.

Equipment hurts more than it helps. Staff is amazing, none of the machines are centered correctly so you end up with one side of your body looking more built than the other, all sideways mnah.

Planet fitness has lots of machines from treadmills to weight lifting and very friendly and polite staff I usually spend like 3 hours every time I go which is almost everyday I really love it there very clean and lots of lockers great place to work out I love it❤️❤️

At first the computers were not working so my membership couldnt get pulled up. Then we were not greeted and a walk through the facility wasnt done. Staff seemed occupied amoung themselves. We felt not welcomed. Machines are great and ease of use. Ive been to other gyms and always had that feeling of being welcomed. Also when we left no one noticed. A thanks for coming hope to see you guys soon would have been nice. A simple good bye even.

Great place to exercise and great customer service, and a very clean environment. You could also get tans and lay on a chair massage while watching TV or relax on a couch watching TV. My only issue is that majority of people dont wipe down after there done with their machines.

Its an okay gym. They have new machinery and the atmosphere is nice. I dont like that they dont have other certain workout equipment that helps you build your nalgas! They also, the crew didnt give me a tour nor did they rush to help me understand certain machines or when asked they didnt show any interest in what I had to say. Poor customer service.

I love planet fitness in general as a gym for all the perks I receive like going to any location and the locations being 24/7. And this particular location is really close to the highway that I am able to park my tractor trailer in without worry but I really wish they had alittle bit better machine selections for abs. Considering thats my only wish this location is really great!!

Tried it since I was coming in from out of town and needed a gym. Not for me. I like to strength train. More for the cardio crowd and low weight/high rep workouts. Nothing against the facility or staff.

I think its ridiculous you dont take credit cards & only our bank account or take checks or cash. What kind of business are you running. Why cant we pay with a credit card monthly . I guess you lost a member!

Its a great gym but, the trainer (Josie)Would not let go of her phone.She wouldnt even look at the people she was training. She just sat on the machines, not even seating on it properly; just sitting on the poles of the machine and using her phone. I feel bad for the further people she will train in the future. I have photo proof and video proof.Im from San Antonio so this isnt an issue i have ever seen.Its very disappointing too see what Laredo has too offer, help wise.

I personally love and respect this place. And why real clean & how they maintain cleaning. Coz why i saw a lady cleaning on the top of machines & you cant see this kind of thing happening other PF. And travel and i know that. So if you go there please respect everything.

Very new location. They have two electronic vending machines with touch-screen to order simple items like headphones, gloves, protein bars, etc. Very good temp shower and spacious shower stall. Blackcard membership area is ok. Its new but very bright and not very relaxing. Otherwise, great place to join!

I really enjoy going to this gym to workout. Especially that it focuses on Cardio and there are PLENTY of machines to use. I even went at one of the busiest times and there was still an abundance of machines available. The previous gym I used to go to, I had to wait to use a cardio machine. It is a comfortable environment especially for big guys like me that are self-conscious about their appearance. I always thought that the Lunk alarm was total B.S. until I saw, first hand, that it worked. There was a guy that was doing deadlifts and he was lifting a lot to the point where he would drop the weights after the lift and started yelling because he completed the lift, like you do, and the alarm went off, lol.I have recommended this gym to many friends and family and as long as it sticks to its No Judgments rule I will continue to do so.Edit: What I meant by Lunk alarm being B.S. was that I thought it did not work until I heard the alarm actually go off because of that one scenario. I think its a great idea because I would get discouraged at the other gym that I used to go to because of the people that would go in and be grunting at the top of their lungs because of the heavy weights they try lifting.

Its awsome ... To go for a massage.. Just chill in the lounge and watch tv... Do cardio or weights.. The people and staff are awsome super friendly... Worth every penny...

Update 3/11/20 - I spoke to the manager twice (on 1st & 2nd day) and the comment regarding the make up, etc was made in from of another PF staff. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to speak to two executives - a man - from Corporate and a lady - regional manager in regard to Andys being late and the issues it could possibly create for customers and the other staff having to pick up his slack after the 2nd incident of him being 20 minutes late.I havent returned after my 3rd visit - the day the comment about make up, etc was made, based on the lack of acceptance projected by the trainers pre-requisites. I opted to go to another gym as a guest of a friend vs stepping into the PF of Laredo Judgement Zone. I realize I am only one person and that it is highly probable nothing will be done to change the culture of exclusion & prejudice created by your employee.New to PF, in Laredo, TX - in the area for 2 weeks. Motto is Judgement Free Zone, but last week I heard a lady state that the trainer Andy has told them he wants them to wear make up, fix their hair and something about their attire when they attend his classes. I have an issue with his dictated pre-requisites, which are totally not in line with the PF motto. This is the same trainer that arrives 10-20 minutes late (on two separated occassions - back to back) to the scheduled classes he is assigned to oversee. I did get to observe Andy for two class; one that he was 20 minutes late to...he took over for the last 10 minutes and opted to extend the class. When asked about the next class he indicated as a trainer, he could modify the classes. He gave no direction, did not correct form and took out his own speaker during one class to play his own music - over the PF music.Its unfortunate how the actions of one employee can leave such a blemish on an otherwise, great facility and nice group of staff.

WATCH YOUR ACCOUNT!!After cancelling my contract, this planet fitness continues to charge my account 26$ after almost six months of not attending. Turns out I was lied to. My contract wasn’t terminated despite me signing and paying a cancellation fee. It was “frozen.” I’m very disappointed. I’ve been to many gyms across Laredo being a huge fitness junkie and beginning my journey in bodybuilding recently. I hope my problem is resolved in a timely manner as I would hate to have to warn friends in fitness circles about this place.Edit: I’ve talked to the manager and was informed that I wait for a call and that nothing could be done. I left this place in tears, and as of now, I’m still in economic hardship from the fees.
