Came to Mike to get a general check on my car and make sure everything is working well. He changed my oil for me and let me know what repairs I might want to consider getting in the near future. Super easy to work with and would definitely recommend.

They are cleaned and the best homework garage in town

They replaced the power steering pump and hose in the car before as we were in the process of buying it. 2 months later the hose needed replaced again, 2 weeks after that the power steering locked up and started to smoke. We will never return to hometown garage for the poor quality.

Ive taken my vehicle to these guys a few times and have yet to be disappointed. My most recent visit was for a really weird issue that they worked hard to assist me with... they were very kind throughout the process and they charged more than fairly.

These guys are the best in town! They have taken care of two Subarus for me (both old and new), and they are always fair, honest, and timely. From replacing a hood to fixing my rack and pinion, they do a great job looking into the issue and making sure that you are aware of the cost before you commit to working with them. They are the only folks I’ll take my car too for those big repairs. They’ll do whatever they can to keep you safe and on the road. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a used vehicle, and was recommended this place from the person I bought it from. I took the vehicle here for a transmission service and was told it would be done the next day or two. One week later, I still had not heard back from them. So, I called them and they said they FORGOT to work on it! When I went to pick up the vehicle, the employee there did not say a word except to say the total cost of the service, which was more than we were quoted. There are way better auto repair places in town, just make sure not to go to this one if you value your time and money.

I am in town working and my starter went out. Hometown Garage got my truck in the bay and got me all fixed up the same day! Efficient and fast work from these guys! Definitely going back for other things while Im in Laramie.

I would highly recommend Hometown Garage. I took my f-150 there to have the rear axle seals replaced and rear brakes serviced. They were very helpful and easy to deal with. The rates were very competitive and they gave me an estimate before beginning any work.

Came here one time and one time only for a two tire rotation, very simply processes, only 20 mins. top. Man I talk to said no, cant do it got other things to do. Thats okay, took it else where and got very go professional service. Dont go here.

My son will be going to school in Laramie and was there yesterday. His car was acting up. We got his car to Hometown Garage. Mike was great to work with, we live in Cheyenne and knowing that if his car acts up again while he is at school and knowing that he will not be taken advantage of means the world to us. If your kids car needs any type of work done to it, I feel that you can trust Hometown Garage.

I was driving across the country from Seattle to Indiana. My 1998 Jeep grand Cherokee transmission gave out about 12 miles away from Laramie on interstate 80. I asked the tote truck driver for the best garage in Laramie for transmission work, he took me to Hometown garage. Please keep in mind this was a Friday afternoon about 3 PM. It took them about five minutes to diagnose the problem and about 30 minutes to fix the problem. There were two gentlemen working in the shop while I was there. Both of them were very courteous, understood my dilemma, and did their best to get me back on the roadfor as cheap as possible. I am not from Laramie Wyoming, but if I ever have a mechanical vehicle problem again I would absolutely take it back to them!

Unfortunately, they do not stand by or warranty their work. They also have no respect for their customer’s time and will take days to even look at your vehicle. We had a starter replaced by them, less than 45 days later the starter failed. We had to pay for the vehicle to be towed to their shop, they took over 4 days to diagnose that is was the replaced starter that failed and then charged us again for the same repair. Avoid this place at all costs.

So i needed i tune up in my car no biggie just to change to the spark plugs. I take it in and get it back and was like yes i found a great place in Laramie. Few weeks later I noticed the boot came off my passenger CV axel and I check my drive side one and it perfectly fine. the passenger one was missing the clamp and it seemed a little suspicious I take it in there have them fix it. i get back my car and guess what??? The driver side clamp was off!!! I take my car back in there the same day and the guy said the driver side was like that when I brought it in. I was like ok.why not fix? or give me a phone call about it or tell me when i pick it up why let me drive down the road with a broken part on my car if it was like then when i brought it in but it clearly wasnt. you think they fix your stuff but youll be back in there a week or month later with something else wrong and guess who caused it. i will not bring my vehicle back there. i recommend you guys go to Laramie Automotive and Diesel repair. great service and people and its cheeper so save you folks some money and not deal with the shady people.

I bought a car from this place 2 years ago. Ive spent so much money correcting mistakes that were made. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS GARAGE!!! ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

We were in Laramie for the weekend when our car overheated, but it was something small that he quickly found, fixed, and got us back on the road hours earlier than we had anticipated! Highly recommended!
