I take both my van and farm truck to Leonard and he always takes care of everything at a good price. He explains everything to me and always gets my vehicles back to me quickly. He keeps my 17 year old farm truck in good running order and my newer Honda Odyssey maintained. I don’t take either anywhere else, not even for an oil change. I never feel like he’s trying to rip me off or take advantage of my being a woman, which I really appreciate. He also makes good referrals for auto body and tires.I highly recommend Advanced Automative!

Car went in around April 14th and was told two weeks for repair. Kept calling saying they’ll have it done in a few days idk how many times. Got it back June 1st. Trying to charge full price. Would give negative stars if possible. Save your time and money and go elsewhere (:

I really liked how they took the time to show me the fuel injector that was bad and compared it to the good one. I have had really bad experiences with auto repair places but this one impressed me.

I am a repeat customer at Advanced Auto and all of the times I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of service. They are very transparent on the costs of repair and reasonable with prices, and I feel confident in saying I will be back whenever I next need repairs.

They are very good. He does all makes and ages. Including carbonators. The thing I like is they do a well check each time I bring my vehicles in so I know what is aging and that the kids and I are safe with our mechanicals. Highly recommend them!

If you want a company that give you a quote then comes back 2 weeks later to add $3000 this is the place to go. Leonard and his team are expensive, in that charge one of the highest hourly labor rates in town. But you get what you pay for, these guys get the job done, and get you back on the road with confidence that the job was done right.

My 1998 subaru needed a leak fixed, Advanced fixed that and found some other problems. I agreed to fix them. They did a fine job. Another problem appeared as I picked it up. They fixed it for free. Well done all the way around. I reccomend them.

I am so ecstatic with My experience here!!!! I had taken my car to C&C automotive prior to no avail. When I took my car in they knew exactly what was wrong and fixed my car promptly!!! I was extremely happy to pay them whatever as at that point my car wasn’t fixed for over a month. I was super impressed with the customer service, quality of service and the speed of service!!! I will never bring my car anywhere else ever again!!!

Would not recommend this shop for anything other than minor repairs. Don’t be fooled, most of the five-star reviews here are for very MINOR repairs, like taillight bulbs and A/C recharging.I trusted their diagnosis and ended up owing double what they estimated. Very poor communication (they never mentioned keeping my car for a whole week) and to top it all off, the problem was never fixed.I was hoping to find a dependable local mechanic to bring my vehicles to in the future, but I will never return to this shop.

This shop outright lied about what services I needed. I came here because my car was very loud when idling. They replaced my spark plugs, which seemed to fix that problem, but they also told me that my brakes only had 10% of life left in them and needed immediate attention. I took my car to another shop that told me they have upwards of 50%! Don’t fall for their scams!

Wonderful specialty service. Brought in an old van that died on the side of the freeway, it needed a lot of work including a carburetor overhaul. Leonard specialises in carbs. They provided an accurate quote, and we drove off three days after bringing it in.

Awesome, honest shop with fast service! They found a serious problem that Laramie GM and Honda had missed, and fixed it for a good price. I trust these guys and finally can say that Ive found a good mechanic in Laramie.

We were passing through when we lost the carrier bearing on the driveshaft we were able to limp back to Laramie. Called several places in town to see if they could press the bearing on for us but all were a week out. Purchased the part at Napa and on a whim stopped in and Leonard was honest and said he was a week out as well, but since we had the part and the driveshaft was already out he went ahead and said he’d do it for us. Had it all done for us within about fourth five mins. Awesome service appreciate all the help for getting us back on the road.

Leonard was so nice!!! My alternator went out. My car sounded so awful and I was afraid that if i drove it any longer, it would completely die. He let me keep my car there while I figured out how I would pay for the fix but as soon as I called him to tell him he could work on it, they got it done in a timely manner. I can honestly say my car has NEVER ran this well. I can honestly say I will be going to them from now on.

Ill preface this review with the fact that I generally rely on the other reviews and never post myself. Sometimes you come across service so exceptional you need to get the word out for others in need. We were stranded between Rawlins and Laramie looking for a tow and a place to go for repair. The Ford dealer and other repair shops couldnt get us in. Advanced was also booked solid but Leonard promised to do what he could to help get us back on the road. After a quick diagnosis (throttle body assembly) he had the part ordered to be in first thing in the morn. The next day he recommended a place to grab a bite (Prairie Rose) and by the time we were through with breakfast we received a text letting us know the repair was complete and we were back on the road by 9:15. The repair was perfect, the service was SECOND TO NONE!! Never fun to search out an auto shop, but if you ever find yourself in need, in Laramie....... Give Leonard a buzz.Kevin Holbrook

This shop used to be great, but it has degenerated, and I suspect this is correlated with the possibility that the review written above mentioning Rich Avery may be written by Rich Avery himself (try reading it again with that in mind, a nice story). This shop used to do excellent work at a very reasonable price. But since the hiring of Avery, I am not confident things are on the up and up. First, Avery comes across as a salesy slickster (Im just being honest) who seems to play the inflated estimate shell game, something I think owner Leonard Sinner has possibly become comfortable with. This shop used to not be a pushy revenue-pumping operation, and Im helping them pay for it by no longer doing business there. Second, their work is not what it used to be. I used to be a loyal customer, but noticed some very crappy work well over a year ago on something that was very basic, with what I discovered later to be very inflated parts prices---on a job Ive had to replicate on my own, in substantially the same amount of time, and at a fraction of the parts cost. I hire shops to save me time, because I know how to do most car work myself, but Im offended when I get ripped off for trusting what used to be a trusted operation.

Sent a Facebook message to them asking about repairs to my truck and they read the message then blocked me without a reply. Left a review on the FB page itself about this and they blocked me from that as well. I have never done business here so they cant even say Im a bad former customer. What a terrible way to run a business.

Poor, just a bad place in general. Inexperienced and overcharges for every service. Will lie to your face about unnecesary repairs. Avoid this shop at all cost. SCAM ARTIST!

Avoid! Hard to work with and force you to pay a 3% charge to use a credit card - which is against their merchant agreement. Do business elsewhere, and avoid these guys.
