The treatment by management and staff at this location is becoming unbearable. I cant take my mask off even on the sidelines, but if I cross over to the pickle ball side I can watch without my mask 🤦🏼‍♂️ we have 47 people in our private FB group🧐 that we use for communicating about when we want to play together. We were playing 3-5 days a week prior to the pandemic. We Just Want To Play Ball and this is how its going to be. Maybe its time for a change?

Have not been to the place in over a year. They say they will stop charging me $9 month to “hold” my membership. Then the next month I am charged $9 every month. Would not recommend anyone who doesn’t plan on going to this gym for life to sign up for a membership.

Unless you want to get COVID I would not even come close to this place! They have anywhere between 5-20 people playing pickleball not wearing any type of mask and no concerns for the general publics health. In addition- the reply & information provided below is false- I have evidence of 15/20 people using the same ball playing pickleball with ZERO mask- meanwhile myself & 3 others playing basketball have our mask on... local law enforcement will be notified by the others to ensure safety protocols are met by these business’

Pretty nice gym. The facilities are nice - not the fanciest, but good enough. Employees are friendly. There are plenty of classes to join. The spin classes are fun.

I have been a member for years. Over the years structural improvements as well as equipment upgrades have been made. My reasons for belonging are:1. Quietness. I do not go to the frequent classes that are very popular. I enjoy working out myself and it is quiet! No excessive talking. Those working out are serious and focus on the task at hand and do not stand around talking.2. Equipment has been upgraded and easy to use. If you need help on using the various machines....the training staff is happy to instruct the correct usage.3. The staff is friendly and very helpful.4. Trainers are well trained, enthusiast, helpful, and explain WHY they are asking you to master various exercises. Are there issues...yes. But over the years suggestions by members have been valued .On my own wish list is a blood pressure machine for participants use.I do not play tennis but the program looks to be extremely successful.I congratulate them for a relationship they have with a special needs program where, along with a job coach, these special young adults work around the gym cleaning .The membership fees are fair as are the rates for long term lockers. So, if you are looking for a friendly, effective, and reasonable price health club....this is it.

Court One North is a great place to exercise, play tennis, play basketball, and drop your kids off for a fun time in the AMAZING new bounce house! All of the equipment is new, functioning, and in great shape. Along with the great equipment, the staff is very friendly, and the CEO is always willing to help with any issues regarding the club. I would 10/10 recommend this club to anyone looking for a new place to not only exercise, but have fun!

This place is awesome for my dance team and I to practice! The staff is very friendly. The room we practice in is very spacious and has wonderful equipment. They also have wonderful accommodations in regards to exercise and they have amenities such as a sauna. I recommend this place to all!

Have been here for over 2 years now and love the gym. The staff is friendly and everything is kept exceptionally clean. The membership is fair and contains access to both gyms and almost all of the amenities (minus some tennis/pickelball stuff). Its cheaper then the mac but more a little more then powerhouse. However, its quiet for the most part and you never have to wait long for any workout equipment.

Our family has been a Court One member for 25 years! I play tennis with two travel teams. They are the greatest group of welcoming women you could find. I highly recommend joining if you are a tennis player. The club is not too big, and not too small but just right. You can take advantage of the many exercise classes - pilates, yoga, spinning without feeling you are being judged. I love the outdoor swimming pool in the summer. When I developed Plantar Fasciitis, Kirk, the physical trainer, cured me with special massages. Hey, this is the best kept secret in town!

There is a good mix of cardio and strength equipment, plenty of gym and court space, and an outdoor pool. The facility is well maintained, the staff are courteous, and membership fees are reasonable.

I was once a member here. They continuously tried to over charge me and I had issues with my membership the entire time as one of my family members passes would never work. I have not been back since. Also, my kid got hurt once when they were watching her and they had no idea what happened. Despite this, I was thinking of trying it one more time (mostly due to convenience of the location). They tried to charge me more than 50% more per month than what they used to charge me and I would have to repay the application fee, again. No thanks...

After moving last summer to the DeWitt area, I found myself searching for a new gym, after trying a couple out and finding them lacking I was extremely pleased with the facilities and the staff at Court One North. The staff always greets me with a smile on their face and usually a laugh or two, the equipment is top notch, and CLEAN!!!! Sal and Micah, you guys are such an asset to Court One, thank you for always making me feel so welcome!!

My family and i love this facility. My daughter is ten and because of her meds she is overweight. Its hard to find a place where i can workout beside her. She could use all the cardio equipment with me right by her side cheering her on. It made her feel so much better about herself. The staff is very informative and friendly. The child care option is great for the little ones and with the huge glass wall, my son is always able to see mommy is not far away. I would recommend this facility to anyone as it fits the needs for everyone! Thank you again corey!

The facility in East Lansing is of decent quality (much better than Okemos other than the hot tub/indoor pool because it doesnt have these). However the staff do not treat everyone fairly. My family was constantly harassed on our unique arrangement. This gym is very biased in their definition of a family household. We showed them our lease and that should have been it. My family and I did not feel welcome when working out here . The staff typically chats among themselves at the entrance. Seldom even a friendly hello or goodbye. Coffee was subpar. For what you pay, you get bare minimum - a gym and the occasional exercise class.

I was a member for several years about 20 years ago. I moved up north for all that time so had to drop...I recently moved back to the area and joined up again. I did check out other health clubs, but Court 1 North is 8 minutes away, its a beautiful facility, the membership includes fitness classes, and there is a pool. The studio where the classes are held can be used when there is nothing scheduled in there - we use it all the time to work on gymnastics. The basketball court is very nice. We play occasionally. There is something for everyone, child care at peak times (and its a very cool room!), of course racket sports and classes, summer camps for kids (east). We plan on heading to the east side facility to use the beatiful indoor pool. The hours of operation are convenient for about anyones schedule. Its clean, the staff is friendly and helpful...I just cant say enough about how pleased I am with Court 1 AND the membersip is very reasonable. We just love it!!

Very unenthusiastic at the front desk, we are members but still the guest charges and tennis court fees are quite hefty. On a Sunday night at 8pm it still cost over 60$ for four people to play tennis.
