Tim was super helpful when it came to getting new wheels and tires for my truck, and when I bought the wrong size tires from a separate dealer, he helped me get the right ones. It also inspires a lot of confidence knowing that he is a car enthusiast himself, you know he cares. Thanks again bud!!

I took my car in for an alignment and to have 4 tires mounted and balanced. The alignment and tire work came out great, very happy with the allignment, however the reason for 3 stars is I was told I needed new brakes front and rear, pads and rotors in the front and shoes and drums in the back, however I had just installed new brakes all around less than a month prior to going to pep boys. You can imagine my surprise when I was told that.So lesson learned is basicly just be aware of what you need replaced before going in. Its a shame because I like to try and keep my business local but this has ruined any thoughts of wanting to go back.

I had an appointment and they told me to call in a few hours. So 4 hours later I called and they said they didnt have the part yet.If you know you dont have the part dont let me drop off my car.

Great service. Cant complain. Make sure to have an appointment so as to have your car in and out in a quick second.

Went for a tire rotation and oil change. Car has been stalling ever since and they couldnt do a tire rotation due to the size of my van. Wouldnt go there again

Unlike other service shops, the guys here -- Tim, George, Edward -- always have a friendly, cheerful, positive attitude. This makes a huge difference. Tim at the counter was just delightful and enthusiastic. He expressed interest in my requests and presented me with similar information I had heard over the phone the day before coming in. I am thankful for Souls such as Tim and...Edward! Hes very attentive and explains everything throughly and to the point where I understand and makes suggestions. I actually stopped going to my Toyota dealership and come here to this Pep Boys location for my cars maintenance due to Edwards,George, and Tims phenomenal customer service! Thank you! They deserve recognition, these qualities are hard to find anywhere nowadays, they are keepers!

I got my car serviced here for an oil change. The guy told me it was an hour wait and then I ended up being there for 3 hours which was longer than I expected. I had a job interview that I needed to go to so I was getting impatient. I addressed my concern with Edward and he give me a discount for chathe oil change. I got out just in time to go to my job interview. He was very friendly and professional. I understand that sometimes its hard to work with lots of customers when youre sorry staffed.. That was not in his control. I think Edward did a great job and I left a happy customer.

Ive been going there for years. Always have a wonderful experience! The staff is very personable, honest and professional. Ive used them for both my jeep and Mazda and have had great service in a timely manner.I HIGHLY recommend!

Can’t speak on the service but please price shop before coming here. First the lady I spoke with was reluctant to give me an estimate until speaking with my boyfriend then it was no problem.... I needed a battery replaced and new cables/terminals and she quoted him $150 to replace battery, NOT including the battery, and $270 to replace the cables, not including the cables. So $420 + parts and I’m sure they overprice their parts. Called brakes plus also in Lakewood, $240 out the door and didn’t haggle me to give me a quote. Why spend double the price if you don’t have to? Highly recommend price shopping and avoiding this place all together

The quality of the work and service has down in the last couple months. Been coming for years, dont know what changed but my last service was a really bad experience. Will not be returning. My advice is to look at the recent reviews I am sure I am not alone.As an example me and my sister took similar cars for the same service but she was quoted 60 dollars more. As for me, they didnt address the issue and just masked the symptoms. Had to take to another place to get properly repaired.I had my wife take the car for a squealing belt. They didnt replace the belt but charged her for one and just sprayed some lubricant on it to stop the squealing for a bit. Two months later, everything is as bad as when she took it there.There reasoning is keep bringing it back in until we get it right but who has that kind of time. Get it right the 1st or 2nd time. Dont ask me to keep coming by for your lack of workmanship.

I have to say terrific service by the whole team for tires! Great price, clean store, good employees! I found the tires cheaper the next day and they still matched it for me! I have 4 other vehicles and they have totally won me over! I have ran retail stores for over 10 years and they went up and beyond for me as the customer! You don’t see service like this anymore! They officially offer Lifts rides home if needed, Neither good nor bad, They gave me a 15% off my entire bill!and service they provided, I liked the work they did.The lobby area is clean and nice, restroom are available. Free coffee and water, and there isA/C here. Plenty of parking and the customer service is sparse but effective.

Been going to this pep boys fir a year now. Last 2 visits I asked for an oil change and tire rotation. Last 2 visits they did not rotate the tires. The first time they did not tell me they did not rotate the tires but it was indicated on the paperwork that it had been done. When I got home I looked at the tires and noticed they were not rotated. The second time I took another car and when I called I asked if they had rotated the tires and he said yes. Went to pick the car up and noticed no tire rotation. George told me they couldn’t rotate because of tire tread. But only said that when I caught him lying. Now I wonder if they even changed the oil. List my business!

Customer service sucked, really really really really ghetto. People hanging out playing music enjoying themselves.Very few people work. Go to Pep Boys on PCH if you’re looking to party but don’t go if you’re trying to get work done on your car.I made appointment for 1 no one spoke to me until I spoke to them at 1:45. Walk-ins were help before me. Will never go there again.

Definitely make an appointment for weekend servicing. I had an appointment for an oil change at 10am & dropped off my car. But they were done in about an hour!

Extremely unprofressional and rude even when politely given the benefit of the doubt.Long story short I had gone in for a free AC evaluation and wasted almost 3 hours of my day off when I was told the process would take 30 minutes. To add insult to injury, when I went out to the bays check their progress, I caught the manager and two technicians wasting time, looking at my aftermarket exhaust manifolds.I was spoken to in a very condescending manner when I asked what they were doing. The manager affirmed my suspicion when he said Is it an issue to check out a nice car that comes into our shop?Yes, it is, when you do it on the customers time.

I just called this location to ask a few questions about services ND make an appointment. Its 5:40. The store closes at 6. They didnt answer and the automated answer system says they already closed.

Installed new windshield wiper blades that I purchased at the Pep Boys store. The blades were on sale too. They installed the blades right away. They practice social distancing at this store.

Took my car in for an oil change and they told me I had to replace my stealing rod. Took it to my mechanic and he said they were perfectly fine, just the bolts needed tightened.

Quick service, got me in and out super quick for an oil change and everyone was really friendly.

I bought a battery on 10/10/19 to replace one that failed after 41 months that had a prorated 72 month warranty. I could not get credit for the remaining 31 months.

Very untrustworthy mechanics, they tried to get me to do a 2000 dollar fix for stuff that was in completely good condition they just thought because Im a kid with a nice car that they could trick me . I will not be returning amd I advise all of you to do the same . I only went there because they usually arent too busy and now i see why .

Terrible experience. I came in for an oil change and only after 90 min did my car finally get lifted. Again this is for an oil change, totally unacceptable! The manager Vic told me about 20-30 minutes into my wait that my car was next... An hour later it finally did. He never apologized or seemed concerned to check in with me during the wait. He seemed disorganized and the techs displayed a lack initiative to get things done quickly... I literally saw them come into front office discussing time cards with Vic and other things while wait times just increased. Cmon it was an oil change! This location runs inefficient. Save your money and time elsewhere. I will not be coming back. No one should have to wait over 90 min for an oil change, especially after I arrived an hour after opening. No one!

They messed up on a sensor kept it for 6 days before taking it to a Nissan dealer. My daughter was without her vehicle for almost a week. The store manager assured me this problem would be fixed the day I took it in 6 days later at closing I am barely gonna pick it up.

Did not rotate my tires, although they put they did. Tires were in same position! I marked them.

Dealer said there wasnt time to put it on so I found a Pep Boys in my childhood neighborhood where the ols @Vans store was and the put it on and for about $15-20.

Inconvenient location. Should be near the mall like it was years ago.
