Excellent service and customer service. Ron is insanely nice and a pleasure to talk to. I had a flat tire due to something in the road, I drove up and explained my situation, they helped me immediately by taking it off and putting my spare on. While that was happening we were already ordering a new tire. They were quick and very helpful!

Ive come here twice in the past month; once for four new Goodyear tires and once for brakes, which Conrads strongly suggested that get them soon. They were all friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area is a bare bones affair because of Covid-19, so bring entertainment. They were very quick with my car both times I was there.
Sent my mom there for a FREE Suspension inspection because she was hearing a noise, but ended up getting chargers $80 for the inspection that is not FREE of you are not going to honor free and instead charge someone $80 then I shouldnt be advertised as FREE

Their customer service was okay but after an oil change/inspection I went from 0 issues (besides a bad strut) to having an engine code and a stripped oil plug meaning I need a new oil pan. Cant tell you if its just bad experience or bad service.
Fast and affordable. Probably could of sold me a new tire but just patched me up for $25

Really disappointed in my last appointment at Conrad’s in Lakewood. Made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Was estimated around 1 hour. Sat there for over 2 1/2 hours. They also did a terrible job on the tire rotation. I had a really load vibration noise. When I tried to take it back to have the tires rotated back the employee made it very difficult to reschedule. I took it back a couple days later to their convenience and still Didn’t fully correct the issue and they blamed it on my new tires. Took it to NTB tires and they fixed the issue. So what seemed like an easy oil change and tire rotation turned out to be a real frustrating experience.
They give free air for your tires whether you are a customer or not!! 👍

Really disappointed in Conrads. They were recommended by a friend who had a very good experience with them and unfortunately we did not have that same experience. We brought my 2008 RAV4 in to have a radiator, condenser, and valve cover replaced as well as windshield replacement through a local company they work with. We brought it in on a Wednesday and we were told it would be a few days until they got to it. They sent us the video of our car a few days later outlining what they would need to fix which we really appreciated. We approved them to proceed. It was a Saturday and they were closed Sunday so they said they would work on it first thing Monday.Tuesday rolls around and we call to get an update. Were advised it would be fixed tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday). Wednesday comes and its not done. Thursday comes and we hear nothing. We call Friday, starting to panic because we are moving to another state in 3 days. They finally tell us that they ordered the wrong radiator and should have it completed by Saturday afternoon. At this point, it is now too late for us to schedule safelite to fix our windshield - they have no available appointments before we move - and we have to drive this car on our move so not having the windshield replaced is non-negotiable. To their credit, they called a local company and was able to have them replace it that day which we really appreciated. To complicate issues, the original employee we worked with the week prior, left on extended vacation and did not inform us or anyone there which likely also extended our timeline. Saturday afternoon we pick up the car and pay our bill.An hour later (if that), we get a phone call saying they forgot to charge us for the radiator and the labor for that radiator installation. Already at 2k, we now owe an additional $500 that they forgot to add to our bill.If there was better communication and they had called us when they realized they ordered the wrong part, perhaps I would feel differently. Mistakes happen and communication goes a long way. After several of these mistakes Im now left wondering about the quality of work on my car...what else did they forget or get wrong? Guess we will find out Monday when we drive the car 500 miles out of state ...
Free air if you need to fill your tires
In the past they were the ONLY auto service shop to ever tell me I didnt need a service that I thought I did. Thats true integrity.
Ive had a lot of work done in the past year,all done by Conrads in Lakewood:a new suspension, new brakes,two new tire replacements, alongwith routine oil changes and tire rotations.Ive never had better service anywhere,not even with the dealer whereI purchased my car.After getting estimates at a half dozenother places, Conrads gave me the best deal on the suspension and reminded meto return at a future date for thefree alignment check.They stand by their work and their word.I have never had any problems.Adam is the best!He has great customer service skills,is very patient with customers, and triesto do all he can to make each visit apositive experience.Ron is terrific. Very knowledgeableand someone you can count on to getwhatever car needs taken care of.Dave is very courteous to customersand works hard to fit them into theiralready busy schedule.Lately it seems they have been veryunderstaffed and apologize for any inconvenience, yet they accomodatenot only all their usual customerswith scheduled appointments,but all the many walk-ins that comein from opening until closing.This seems so unfair because theyall seem to do their best to makethe customers happy.Management really needs to hiremore help so the dedicated employeeswho do a great job there dont get burned outtrying to meet a heavy workload.

My car had over 150,000 miles and needed some work. I have AAA and used their coupon and saved money. I now love to drive my car, it used to be a drag. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store; however, I made an appointment for an oil change several days in advance. I told them my time was flexible, but that I was going to wait. I have been sitting her for nearly 2 hours and my vehicle is still sitting in the parking lot. “We are double booked” does not make it better.

Great experiences at Conrad’s in Lakewood. We take our car in regularly for oil changes and they’re always polite, timely and honest. It’s actually very hard to find legit places to take a car in for an oil change where the car shop doesn’t try to work in a high price fix that’s not needed, Conrad’s has never done that. As a woman, who knows cars and especially understand her own car, I know that the time they’ve recommended a repair (one time I believe) it was true. The only downside is their prices are high and almost equivalent to dealerships for repairs. If you’re like us and have a trustworthy garage who guarantees their work, it is more cost effective to get the car fixed at a garage. If they had better pricing they could become our one stop shop for repairs too. Their mark ups are a bit too high for us in that department. Otherwise, highly recommend them for oil changes and a place that will offer an honest check up for your car.
I went in to get my brakes checked out. Adam started working on it right away. He took me to the back to show me what he was working on and explained what needed to be done. I really appreciated being involved in each step and explanations. It helped ease my mind and I learned some things as well. He gave me a couple good suggestions as well. Overall, Im very happy with their service!
Conrads has always been great to me. Anytime I have the slightest issue with my car I go to Conrads and always get treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism, all at the lowest price. Next time I have any car troubles I will be going to Conrads and doing so with confidence they will get me back up and running.

Great place to get your car repaired. They were very accommodating and FAST. One of the mechanics sent me a video text of the inspection, pointing out everything that needed fixed before they began working on it. It was thorough and easy to understand what they needed to do. I arranged my appointment through their website, and when they called to confirm both the time and tire that had been confirmed online were no longer available. They said they could still take me at 8:00 but it would be 2-3 hours before they got to my car, and asked if I would prefer a 2:00 appointment. I stressed that I had to work at 4:00, and would prefer keeping the 8:00 time slot. Even if they couldn’t get to the car until 11:00, I would still have it done in plenty of time. They then recommended adding an alignment, I explained that I was on a budget and that I would not be interested at this time. When I dropped off my car, they once again tried to sell me on the alignment, and I had to once again had to explain my financial situation. They explained once again that they had a busy morning, and I once again explained that I understood and that’s why I was dropping it off early, for an ASAP fix. I told them I wasn’t planning on waiting, and when I got the call I would walk back over...and then the call never came. I called them at 2:48 to see if my car was ready and was informed that it was done, they just hadn’t updated the paper work, and asked that I pick it up by 5:00. Which was when I got irritated and said due to having to leave for work shortly (as I had now expressed a fourth time) I would be right over.I appreciate the thoroughness of recommending the alignment, but I shouldn’t have to tell you “No” multiple times due to financial restraints. I also should not have been told 3 hours, when it was going to take 6. It would have been nice if I received the call saying it was done before having to call myself to check on it. The work was done well, but the customer service aspect was frustrating.

I have been a customer of Conrads for 3 years since purchasing my brand new car. I never had a problem until I went to change the oil at home for my most recent maintenance. It was found that my drain plug was completely stripped (rounded off). Two family members who were former mechanics explained that happens when the wrong size wrench is used to remove the plug or just removed improperly. No other shop besides conrads worked on my vehicle since I purchased it. I returned to conrads for the oil change since we could not remove the plug on our own without more leverage.Two employees at conrads told me after my oil change, next time, the plug would need to be replaced. I explained to them that they are the only ones who have worked on my car, and the reason the plug is completely destroyed is on them. They tried to pacify me by saying the part is very inexpensive and easy to fix; thats not the point. They also told me this is normal for vehicles and everybody has to have their plugs replaced eventually. My father has gone to Conrads for years and has never had to replace any of his drain plugs on multiple vehicles. I asked why they cant just replace it for me since they messed it up in the first place and are clearly at fault. I understand the part is relatively cheap, but instead of listening to a loyal customer and rectifying their mistake, the manager instead decided they would rather be right and die on that hill.They again said that its not their fault and I would have to pay for the part and labor to fix the plug.I did not return to Conrads for that repair, and I will not be returning in the future. This business likes to say they care about the customer, but keep in mind a technician not doing their job properly (for a simple oil change) might cost you more than you think.
Love the Conrads in Lakewood. 2nd time in a row with great customer service. Adam was very helpful and knowledgeable. I needed brake pads and rotors which the pads had a warranty on it and were replaced for free. However, the cost to replace the rotors were high, basically Conrads sell their parts at retail meaning some parts can be almost 3x as high, they claim this is how their employees get paid. What I dont understand is why do so if you are also charging high priced labor? I do like the convenience of your car getting repaired the same day or next day. Love the video messages showing you the problems with your car. Highly recommend this location for car repairs
Friendly staff and good service. I went to the Lakewood location so I took a walk, being a lovely day at the time, to the Lakewood library while my car was being serviced. They also gave me an estimate for other things that needed to be done but I found the price to be a little outrageous because I have a mechanic friend who could do it for half that price.
I liked how this Conrads took the time to listen to my car concerns and did the work promptly even though they were super busy. I also love how this Conrads communicate their findings via sending a link to a short video so I can see what the issues were. Eventhough I had a large bill how they communicated throughout this process I felt listened to and understood. I like this Conrads much better than the one in Rocky River
Today I had drivers side head light bulb replaced. Due to it burning out. Also had the working passengers bulb replaced, at recommendation of an employee. I also had a weak battery replaced ( it is original and 5 years old) . And an oil change with tire rotation. While doing my running around, I was informed by local police that my passengers side head light was not working. Needless to say I went straight to Conrads. I was met by pleasant staff. The garage manager spoke with me right away. He showed me the faulty bulb. He has ordered a replacement. The plan is to return to Conrads at my convenience on Monday.I suggest a courtesy van. I live a few streets away. But due to grocery shopping and other errands I was unable to walk home carrying a car full of items. I was informed that I do not need an appointment on Monday. I can just arrive and the bulb will be replaced.The team at Conrads was very pleasant and offered a great solution.

The work done was fine. The main issue was the length of time I spent waiting. I made an appointment but it still took 2 1/2 hours to replace two tires. I was under the impression that customers with appointments had priority. I guess not.
Employees spend too much time socializing, on thier cell phones or helping another mechanic on another vehicle,when they were working on my car. I sat over 2 hours waiting on an estimate. I was charged 3 hours of labor when the mechanic was only actually working on my car at most an hour and a half to hour and 45 minutes. If this wasnt a dire emergency I would not have used their service. I wouldnt even give 1 star but thats not an option.

As a less-seasoned driver with little experience in car troubles, I must say my experience with this Conrad’s was wonderful! I walked in not knowing how to go about getting a new tire after I got a bad flat and Ron was so kind and patient in explaining everything to me. They even let me drive my car all day until they gave me a call when they were really ready to put my new tire on. Quick and efficient and friendly service. Win win win.

I called the other day to get a price on tires. The gentleman answering the phone was polite and respectful. I told him I needed something done asap and he said although they were down a employee or two they could still put 4 new tires on before the day was over and it was 345 before I got there.They were done at 5. New tires. Good mechanic, no issues so far. Good price on the tires and my car rides nice now. Thanks a lot guys!
Ive been coming here since I was 16, so for 15 years Conrads has been providing me trusted, quality service. I would have a difficult time bringing my vehicle anywhere else. The staff are also amazingly wonderful everytime I call or visit. Love you guys!

A lot of times mechanics are like doctors, you go in for one thing and they tell you 3 more things that are wrong! The staff here is very honest and knowledgeable. They diagnosed my problem and offered to just fix it. On top of that, while they were working on my car, they sent me a video of the progress they were making. It was next level! If you have to make the dreaded trip to get your car fixed, choose Conrad’s in Lakewood!

First of all, they have good people there- experienced, seemingly concerned about your needs. Ive been there several times. This time, however, they told me if I dropped my vehicle off by 11:00- it would be ready by end of day. Not! Unfortunately, I had to go back to get it the next day. Bummer. Not changing my 5 star review- but was disappointed.

The price was reasonable and the quality of service they provide is exceptional! The big downfall was that I was told l was going to have an hour wait for my 5PM scheduled appointment, which wasnt a big deal. I got there at 4:40 (promptly early for my appointment) and didnt actually leave till about 6:50. Had I know I was going to spend that amount of time waiting for my car I would not have stayed to wait.

I only have great experiences here. They’re honest and fair. My last trip was an oil change and admittedly I always choose the last time open so I don’t have to miss work which has to be frustrating for them but I would never know. Most cases with this appointment there is never an issue but this time they were missing people and very backed up. They called and canceled my appointment last week and asked that I reschedule for the following week so I did. They were still behind so my trip was much longer than expected for a scheduled oil change but they compensated me for my time and even though they already had me hooked as a customer now they have a customer for life who will always promote their customer service.
Workmanship, quality, courtesy, promptness were all fine. But a $43 tire ended up costing $84. I took the tire off the car and took it in and put it back on myself. Seems a little steep just to mount the tire on the rim.
Ive used Conrads for five services and have not had any issues yet.A few tips:1. No people in the waiting room does not mean that you are next. Despite what you might think, everyone doesnt wait around for their service.2. Call ahead. Walk-ins are definitely welcome, but calling ahead ensures you priority over others (as long as youre scheudling ahead and not calling day of).3. Courtesy: If you arent in any hurry for your cars service to be completed, let them know that. Being on the good side of a mechanic is never a bad thing.

We chose Conrad’s to put the new tires on our 2008 Toyota Sequoia. They were professional, knowledgeable about their tire selection and most important of all (for us) the price was the best we found for Bridgestone Dueler tires. We got a set of four tires and an alignment for under $900, while the local Toyota dealership wanted $1200 for the same tires. Definitely recommend them. They did a great job!
Easiest car repair service Ive eve encountered. Adam was extremely helpful and had my car in and out the same day. It was reasonably priced and was above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be going back for more repairs. Definitely recommend.
Always very helpful! Had a damaged tire under warranty, took it in on a busy Saturday. The staff fit me in and stayed late as I was leaving the next day for a 450 mile drive. Just really great service, super professional, helpful and friendly.
I made an appointment and dropped my car off at 9:30 AM. At noon they diagnosed it and I gave them permission to get started. After not getting a call that it was finished I called at 5:20 PM. They told me they actually couldn’t fix it but could fix something else the next day. They had my car all day and I had to call them asking for an update. The communication could have been better.
These guys are always very friendly and helpful. I dont shop around alot so I cant say anything on pricing. But what I will say is that they have always had great customer service and explain everything to me so I understand what is going on with my car. There extremely fast and efficient as well. Never had to wait more then 24 hours for my car to get taken care of.

Ive waited 2.5 hours for a routine oil change. I drive a standard car and made an appointment (that I was promptly on time for) in advance. There has been no one working the front desk consistently, so the only time Ive been able to see what was going on is when someone else came in to pick up their vehicle. When I gave my keys, I was told it would be no more than an hour wait. I thought sure, I have a book, a fully charged phone, no big deal. And now Ive been here for over twice that amount of time with no hopes of leaving soon.
Got new tires and had some front end work done. Repairs were done professionally, and the car was ready when promised. The price was pretty reasonable, too. Not only would I recommend them, id do business with Conrads again.
They did my oil change fast and gave me an great inspection but the estimated price to fix the problem with my car is ridiculous. I can take my car to private owned mechanic and pay a fraction of the price. they wont try to make profit off of the parts either.
My husband and I have been going here for several years with his car and my last car and always thought the service was great. Everyone has always been super friendly and helpful. They’ve managed to one up themselves by sending a link to video footage they took of my car parts in question to help me see and decide on the work. When I got a new-used car last year, I had taken it to the dealership a few times for oil changes to take advantage of the free car wash and they have been telling me all year I need new brakes and roders. The purchase and service at the dealership never sits right with me and it was punctuated by them not calling me back on a quote for a ton of work I needed so I decided to go back to Conrad’s and I’m so glad I did. The video they sent showed me I’m still good for a while longer and let me decide I don’t need to spend the money right now on brakes but when I do, I will get it done at the Lakewood OH Conrad’s for sure. Thank you so much for being nice. It goes a long way!
Adam, was courteous and very informative about the issue with my car. He made me feel comfortable and worked with me. Hospitality seems to be less an priority in customer service and I did not expect to find it a a mechanic but did!
Very professional place. They use the videos to show you what is going on with your car while they work on it. They tell you honestly what repairs can afford to be postponed, and which repairs need to be done right away. And there are Perks to being a regular customer
Everyone was very nice. What I loved the most was the video vehicle inspection where they recorded a full walk around of the repairs I needed. This is exceptional and above the bar! That alone will make me a returning customer.

Im not normally one to leave reviews, but I cant help but to heap praise after my experience yesterday. I had damage to a side mirror that made my car difficult to drive and all of the other shops in the area were quoting a 4-7 day turn around time to repair. Out of desperation I drove into this Conrads on a busy Saturday morning and unbelievably they were able to source and install the mirror in under 3 hours for $100 less than what their competitors were quoting me. Adam was extremely cognizant of my difficult situation and really bent over backwards to get me taken care of. They have definitely earned my future business!

The staff is nice, and waiting area has complimentary beverages. It’s take about an hour for an oil change and tire rotation which is a little long for my taste, but it was nice sit there and and get stuff done on my phone without being interrupted.All in all my experience was about as enjoyable as getting an oil change could be.

Free in-depth car inspections with AAA membership or other purchases. It has been our experience that they dont try to sell us unnecessary services. Very good value much of the time.

I love this place. I asked them for a quote on tires not too long ago, thinking that it was getting close to replacement time. When I got back, the guy looked at me and asked if I was having traction issues. I said that I was not. He told me that I have at least another year before I should have to replace them. Oil changes are great and cheap; they always call you if they see something that needs to be done, and try to get you the best deal that they can. I really like these guys, and will definitely keep going for tire and fluid exchanges! As for the long wait that some seem to complain about, if you are able to drop it off in the morning, it is usually not an issue. Otherwise, you need to make an appointment. Walk-ins are first come first serve!
Quick tire change! Only took an hour and they have ample space for customers to wait. The free water, coke, and coffee is a nice touch. Great service and took less time than estimated. Will return.
After a scheduling mix-up, which resulted in my car not getting service, I emailed Conrads to let them know. I received a call within 20 minutes from the service manager, Adam, who was determined to make it right. He got me in right away, took care of my issue and demonstrated customer service above and beyond my expectations!
Took over 24 hours to even look at my car. They tell me over the phone there’s no major issues found. When I come in to pick it up there’s a list of things that are wrong with it. Hack mechanics at it’s finest.
I recently purchased tires from Conrad’s online and set appointment for installation 7 days later. Arrive for my appointment wait for almost 30 minutes and told we don’t have your tires and we will order them. Schedule 2 nd appointment for the next week. I have to call them just to see if the tires are there when I do they inform me that there are only 2 tires. Not once did someone call me to let me know this. I get a call at my request after my 2nd schedule appointment to let me know that all tires are finally there. I arrive and request to have them double check right rim and check it out to due a rim leak as well as wanted to see front and back breaks so I can determine if or when they will need to be replaced. I was there for the next 3 hours. When asked why they didn’t let me know to look at the breaks I was told this is a very busy season and we are busy, then asked about the rim leak. I asked if they checked the rim and the manager had a deer in the headlight look and told me no it is our busy season. This is such a bad customer service with this Conrad’s in Lakewood and first as well as last time I will use or even recommend anyone to this shop. Totally unacceptable, I am a customer and should have been taken care of even with the POOR service that I received from them

This was a terrible experience. They said they would call and tell me what needed done on my car. And they said the whole thing would take an hour and a half. I dropped my car off at noon. I called at 3 to see what was happening. And they said they would have it done by the end of the day. I got there at 5:30. The car was jacked and they said there was nothing to do. And it stayed jacked until 6. With no updates finally they told me that they needed to replace a tire which would have been fine but I dont know why they couldnt have told me that before they were closed. Finally when it all got done they half told me fairly rudely what was going on. And then I finally got to leave at 6:45. It was very frusterating since I wanted to just go home after a day of work.

Great service!! Had a flat tire and stopped in on a very busy day! Was able to leave the car and pick it up by the end of the day. They treat you with respect at Conrads!
