Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have moved to Lakewood recently, so I was looking for MY spa… looked online for reasonable prices and decent reviews online, and thought I might give it a shot with this salon!I called, scheduled and came…Faces are not friendly, in the “who s next” type of manner… ok no problem!I asked how much would be regular pedicure and shellac manicure… prices they told me was higher than on the website… again I said to myself they probably didn’t update the info online… the third thing I’ve noticed they didn’t even have the Menu of services on the wall, nor guided me to choose the colors to choose from!“Negotiations” settled; for hands $35 for shellac nails 💅🏼 and $25 for pedicure…I was pointed to sit at the chair, while the fill the tub…The water was BARELY WARM, closer to be unpleasantly lukewarm… for the pedicure, the cuticles was barely touched… what actually put me to the shock stopper that THEY DID NOT TOUCH MY FEET AT ALL! Like my money was not enough for regular pedicure! LolNo scrubbing or buffing my heals at all! No massage either! They messed up with the polish, and felt they were done ✅!moved me to the table to wait another 10 minutes for shellac!?I was shocked with the poor customer service, not only they barely spoke English, but they looked at you talking in between in their language and giggling, and when I asked manager to do look at the cuticles and paying more attention, she was like “ what do you mean better job, we can’t cut cuticles!” - is what she said….and she was very arrogant and unfriendly!Never will I ever comeback, and suggest people to trust the negative reviews, because they can get screwed like me!I am thinking if they expect people to throw hundreds of dollars on them, at least have diligence to do a decent, not even talking “quality” here ( even though we deserve a good quality service if we pay money), but at least include the basics that should be the part of the regular pedicure services!I do my nails regularly and my feet is taken care and not callus looking … I have never had a low quality service in 25 years living in Denver!what they did was just a pure ripoff, unprofessional and customer neglect!Asking $25 dollars for that! If they don’t have conscience I should have treat them the same and give them only $10 for their job!Disgraceful place!
Arrived @ 5pm on a random Thursday. They had one client getting a pedi. When she left, it was just me. Both technicians worked on my nails at the same time while I watched Judge Judy. Sweet ladies! I had a good experience. Shellac full set, shellac pedicure + paraffin wax. Fire Engine Red. Asked for round, got almond which I don’t mind one bit because they look fire. Will be back! Felt the need to write this after seeing so many terrible reviews.
I don’t know, I’ve been going here for 12 years now I’m not one to leave reviews. Just was looking at what time they open tomorrow. I’ve never had one unhappy job. I was a little surprised by all the bad reviews. If you’re friendly and you communicate kindly with what you’re looking for they’ve always done a really really amazing job with my pedicures and my manicures. I’m sad they’ve had such bad reviews. On the plus if you’re looking for a new place because of The bad reviews it’s not crowded appointments and walk-ins are super easy.I guess, I’ve always been very friendly and communicative if you’re afraid to speak up they can’t read your mind. Be friendly and ask what you’re looking for if it’s not going the direction you’re hoping for. I’ve never walked out of here dissatisfied and I bought my house 12 years ago up the street always have come here. Don’t know anybody by nameUnbiased honest review
I paid about $8 less than I typically have before. However, the savings were not worth the end product. The individual who applied my shellac made four of my cuticles bleed. Plus the end massage was actually painful. The nail color is sitting on top of my cuticles instead of a neat line next to my cuticles. Instead of making my hands look clean and neat they look like I did the job myself. The topcoat and nail color is also all over my finger tips. Which make them look even more terrible, on top of a shoddy nail job.One of my thumbs has the nail filed down to a place of discomfort and is now completely uneven with the rest of my nails.I’ve never been eager for a pedicure to be over and for the nail polish to wear off!
They staff are so sweet and nice.
The owner of this nail salon is such a sweetheart and does great work! Everytime I go in without an appointment Im seen quickly and my nails are always perfect. Also their prices are the FANTASTIC. I go once a month now because theyve always given me such a good experience. Highly recommend
Two pedicures and one gel French manicure cost $100. Specifically instructed technician that I did not want square nails. She cut my fingernails very short and then filed them square. Polish chipped on two fingernails the next day. Polish peeled off three fingernails after 2 days. Cuticles were rough. Pedicures were acceptable. Do not recommend.
All in all it was a very good experience. All of the staff was very friendly, and my nails look great. I paid $40 for a gel pedicure which included toenail clipping as well as cuticle grooming, a foot wrap, callus rub down with the pumice stone, calf and shin massage. All in all I am very pleased. My only slight issue was that there was a definite language barrier, and I could have used a little bit more work on scraping down the rough parts of my feet. (Only reasons that I rated 4/5 stars). All in all a good experience
Best nail salon around. They always do a great job. I have been going here for many years.
Lovely place. Great for massage. Beautiful pedicure. Thx
Asked for Dip and the filed my nails to thin, horrible job. Felt like she just wanted me out the door.
Was looking for a nail salon that was on my way to work and opened at 9:00 am,almost gave up as I wasnt finding anything.. I noticed online it opened at 9:30,happen to pass by since its on my way to work and saw the door opened,it was 15 min till they opened but they still helped me which was awesome.. it was very clean n beautiful inside.. she did a good job with my pedicure and wasnt too pushy which I like.. She did a great job n was done in enough time for me to make it to work! Will definitely be back to do my nails more often
Reviewing waxing: my daughter whom gets her brows waxed every 3-5 months for the last two years. We normally go to a different place but recently moved and figured we would give this place a shot....bad mistake, the technician ripped of several layers of skin from my daughters brown line both top and bottom being the worst of the injury. DO NOT GET WAXING DONE HERE! I have to keep a close watch on the injury to make sure it doesnt get infected worse of all the technician made her pay gave her a 2$ discount for the inconvenience!! Never have I experienced such a horrible injury of eyebrow waxing before or customer service. after 4 hours of icing and triple antibiotic cream (advice given by her doctors nurse) still very inflamed and bruised. She has cried several times and didn’t wash her face because of the pain this evening.
Horrible. Worst pedicure on all of us. Cut our skin under our big toe nails. Somewhere that shouldnt be cut. Hurt to walk for days. Dont ask for designs. They are horrible at designs. Will never go back.
Worst salon ever! Nobody should ever go here. Went in to get my acrylics taken off and was charged $30 because she apparently gave me a manicure. Never going here again. Only if I could give this place zero stars.
Been here a couple times. Very pleased with their services. Actually have now changed over to this salon. Rebases are good and great shellac paining. Staff is super quiet. No complaints here.
I paid $50 for a dip powder manicure that ended up goopy, with white powder showing underneath the polish. I went back the next day to either get a refund or a shellac instead of another dip but the lady that was working told me she couldn’t help me because her hands were all bandaged up from burns she received from acetone. I had a big birthday party to attend the next night so I really needed my nails redone that day. I then asked for a refund, hoping to go somewhere else, she said “no” and told me to come back the next day so that the owner could redo my nails or offer me a refund. I asked if another technician could just remove the dip, but again she said no because she was the only one working that day, apparently the other nail tec did not show up, again she told me to come back the next day. As I was leaving, a nail technician was walking in therefore I asked her if she could remove the dip, she told me no as well. She also told me to come back the next day so the owner could redo my nails or issue a refund, they could not do anything that day without the owners permission. Reluctantly, I left and came back the next day at 5:30 pm, I showed the owner my nails and asked her if she could redo them but this time in shellac or issue me a refund, she was extremely RUDE and told me that she would not give me a refund, that the reason why the powder was showing through the polish was because of the light color I chose, WTF??! She then told me to wait 1/2 hour until she she could deal with me. I brought my 8 year old son, we sat down, it was 5:30, my party wasn’t going to start till 7:30, I had time. THE OWNER WORKED ON 3 OTHER CUSTOMERS NAILS BEFORE SHE FINALLY GOT TO ME at 6:45!!! At that point the salon was closed, it was only us 2 in the salon, she then started screaming at me, telling me that if I wanted shellac, she would charge me $10 to remove the dip powder, credit me $25 and I’d have to pay an additional $20......if you do the math, that would mean Id end up paying an additional $5 for the shellac medicure...OMFG I told her “no, way,” and at that moment she then told me she’d do another dip powder manicure using the SAME COLOR at no charge at all, to that I said “no way” again, I did not trust the dip powder or the job she did, I wasn’t going to take that chance again, it was risky. While my son and I were in her salon, she then began raising her voice, telling me she would not issue me a refund under any circumstances. I begged her to just take the horrible dip powder off and give me a shellac manicure, because my nails looked disgusting and she at least owed me that. She continued to tell me she wouldn’t and that I’d have to pay extra $$, I kept refusing and wouldn’t leave until she finally agreed to remove the dip, the entire process took 45 minutes, which could have been done when I initially arrived, sitting and waiting. I ended up leaving the salon at 7:45 pm, 2 hours after we arrived, with the powder removed and no manicure despite paying $50 for one. I’m shocked and disgusted at how I was treated, it’s unbelievable that a business owner would treat her customers this way, I literally was at their mercy. I’m a single mom and school teacher, manicures are a treat that I work so hard for. I literally cried in my car on my way to the party afterwards. This owner was abusive, unprofessional and unethical. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!
When you walk in they tell you it will be 15 minutes that is just to keep you there. I requested a certain person they then took someone that came in after me and let me sit there for 30 minutes. Their product that they use is not good very cheap. I wouldnt recommend any of these salons much better nail salons in Lakewood to choose from.
Was charged for services that I wasnt informed of prior to them being performed. Was charged for shellac removal despite having regular polish and no shellac. My nail lady completely denied charging me for such services the next time I went in calling me a liar. Ill never go back to that place. Completely unprofessional.
Their sign says 25 dollars for a fill but when I went in today I was charged 45 dollars for a rebase. My tech was very rough and was burned a few times with the tools. I will not go back they don’t honor what their sign says.
Amazing experience! Liz was a very knowledgeable tech! The salon is very clean and everyone was nice! Im somewhat a germaphobe and I was completely comfortable with this salon! I will go back! Thanks Liz!
Ive really tried with this place I wanted to give them a chance, I am a forgiving and loyal person but I cant anymore. They over charge and/or lie on pricing, and they are extremely rude. My husband knew I went there a lot so he got me a GC for a gift for a mani pedi they said it would be 45 when he bought it and they charged me double. I get that I upgraded a bit but they charged me DOUBLE! Way out of line. Im talking a 15 dollar upgrade at most places. Ive never been charged so much. Way out of line expensive for mediocre service. They makes mistakes and then make you feel stupid, on more than a few occasions this had happened to me. For example- Theyve literally made me cry. One time a lady was using the bottom of the barrel of a nail polish and it was just goop and bubbly and digusting and when I said I didnt like it they blamed it on me for not picking the right color! But I LOVED the color I just didnt like it because it was all thick and bubbly so I said maybe should open a new bottle but I guess that was Gel so I had to pick a new one and after that the lady working on me painted one toe and the lady in charge turned to me and said so are you sure you like THIS color? And then they all laughed and spoke in their language shaming me. It was disgusting. Now I know why there is no one there when I go in. Sadly used to be a great place. I keep hoping for better but always terribly rude and charge more than they advertise. No more.
Rhonda does a great job. She stayed 45 min after close just to finish me up
The Techs are quiet. The nail work I have received for several years has been excellent.
Beware dont go for nails with powder I need to go to a different place pedi was awesome.
Great service and they take their time so you can relax and not feel rushed
This was my first time here and it will be the only place my daughter and I will come to get my manicures done.Kimlee is the best!!
The lady yelled at me and was very rude. This place was ok years ago but is run down now. The place was dead with 4 or 5 employees sitting doing nothing and they made me wait. Then when i told her the fake nail was too short she got defensive and yelled YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT! at me. So i left.
I really like this place but wish they had a better color selection for gel nails.
They are nice, but always rush through my manicures so my polish is never on point.
It was very hot in the salon. No AC. My Pedicure was done ok. But when it came to the design it looked like my 5 year old put flowers on my big toes. My Manicure was the absolute worst. The polish bubbled and you could see all the brush stroaks. The Nail Tech tried to fix the bubbles by putting another coat on. This only made it worse. When I complained they wanted to change the color for me however, I didnt have time and did not want to sit in the heat anylonger. So I declined I asked if I could have some of my money back since I was clearly disappointed. The Manager wss only willing to give me my tip back. 50 bucks for a Mani/Pedi that looks like a 5 year old did it is a bit steep.
I went in for a pedicure. I will never go back. I asked her just to shape the nails and she cut them completely off to the skin. She was so aggressive with my cuticles that I was bleeding and crying. And when I left, very disappointed and embarrassed and in pain from the experience, as I gave her the $25 for the pedicure, she just stood there with her hands out waiting for a tip while blood is oozing onto my flip flops.
Wanted something simple and they screwed it up. Not going back
Service was okay they were nice for the most part but a few of them were encouraging my young daughter to beg me for things and it was getting obnoxious also I feel it was pretty overpriced Ive been to nicer places that do a better job and charge less...
Over filed the nails and to make it worse all the supplies where unclean. I could tell because I saw her use them on another client than proceed to set them aside not even caring (as well gross polish still stuck). Was agressisive with my cuticles and to top it off my nail beds were bleeding....bleeding yet she waited for a tip??
Me and my boyfriend were cut horrible in our pedicures. Still hurts and bleeding a day later
Clean and very nice staff.
They charge 40 for a rebate which they did a horrible job at it cause they dont know how to do and ombre look dont NOT COME here rude stuff if you ask for what you want!
Great place for a pedicure!
