If you are a colored person with black people HAIR. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU. No No No. The people are nice, Danielle did mine and she was friendly and nice. But no skills with black people hair. I went to iron, soften and curl my hair, not even close. I wish they were more diverse on their skills.

Very pleased with Maria when she did my pedicure. She’s very pleasant to visit with.She does exceptional good work. I highly recommend her and will go to her next time I need her services.

Its actually for Ja Made It inside Pace Setters with Jason. Awesome job! He listened well and was able to go from my previous pictures. I probably wasnt the best client as I was late. He was upbeat, played some music in his room, and made me feel at ease.

I went to this lovely little place to get my haircut a month ago and they did a phenomenal job. Still loving it! So, I came back to bring my daughter to get her first haircut, and they really treated us like royalty. She didnt even fuss or anything! I will be back for sure, and I highly recommend!

I have to gush about my new do by Jason, Ja Made It. I went to him for the first time last Friday more or less on a whim; I am not unsatisfied with my old stylist Ive been going to for years. The change was apparently too long in coming. He gave me stunning blonde highlights and a fantastic cut, all without a whole lot of input from me. Thats the true artist. He just took the reigns and I am getting compliments and appreciative looks left and right! I work with mostly men and to be honest, theyre not the most observant gender when it comes to a womans hair style, but my boys are all abuzz! Im loving it and my hair cut. Thank you, Jason! I am yours forever!

Love it here! I usually see Tawny since she specializes in the crazy, fun colors. My color always comes out beautiful and my cut is the perfect balance between easy to maintain and sexy awesomeness.

Shannon had done a wonderful job on my hair twice. I called the week of my wedding looking for an appointment to get my hair styled. They had an opening the morning of my wedding. Shannon did hair beautifully.A few weeks later I went to her for a hair cut. So friendly and amazing work. Reasonable prices.

Mandi is my stylist and hands down shes amazing! Its honestly like she knows exactly what Im thinking with my hair. She listens to me, she also interprets me when I cant figure out how to explain. Shes great. I have very short hair and I know its her specialty and you can definitely tell!! Highly recommend!!!

Very satisfied with my experience at this salon. Tawney did an excellent cut & style on me in August. I returned in October for color, cut & style, she did a phenomenal job again. Id happily recommend her as well as recommend the whole salon in general. The atmosphere is so lively and energetic! I look forward to many more visits. :-)

Penny has been doing my hair for years, and I cannot recommend her enough! This salon is so much fun to go to. All of the stylists are friendly. The owners have recently made some really nice renovations and upgrades to the salon.

Amanda is my stylist and I love her! I have referred people to her and everyone feels the same. She’s great with color too - one of my daughters had her color blue ends to her natural brown. Beautiful!

Bonnie L. does amazing work! I have been going to Pacesetters for about 15 years now. Never disappointed! I usually get colored highlights and a few colored extensions. Tawny has done my daughters and my hair for the past couple years and we both love her. Tawny is personable, friendly, professional and a great stylist. My daughter has really curly hair and it took me a long time to find a stylist to cut it how I like, Tawny does both of our cuts perfect every time!

I stopped in to get to get a quick haircut and was very pleased to get a fantastic haircut by a very experienced and funny hairstylist. I was so impressed that I referred my girlfriend to see Lorna at the salon. You see, my girlfriend has frizzy, uncontrollable hair that takes a long time for her style. She received a keratin smoothing treatment from Lorna and now my girlfriend is thrilled with her shiny hair! I love it too! We are both very pleased that I stopped in and found this great salon in Lakewood and even happier that we found Lorna!

Tawny did a great job on my hair! This was my first ever experience getting a perm and I’ve had at least five friends ask me if my hair was naturally curly. To do such a good job that I can fake it as natural is a feat for my hair. I have stubbornly straight hair and I was worried it might not take well the first time but she was fantastic. She worked fast. Also just a great person to talk to, I did not feel awkward at all which is sometimes hard for me because I am a reserved person. Will definitely go back once this grows out/wears off.

Amanda is one of the most badass colorist Ive ever been too. I came in a mess and walked out feeling great. I got home and really looked at her work under light. l was just blown away. Her work is art, she nailed the color in low and highlights along with my natural silver. I cant say enough. Just wow.

Tawny did not give me the service I requested. She did not listen to my style request, leaving my hair incredibly uneven, too short and blotched highlighting. I brought it to her attention and she did not care I did not like it. She felt it looked good so my opinion did not matter. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!

Edited Dec 2020: The owner is selling this business to out-of-towners. 90%+ of the stylists have ducked out and its all a bunch of drama. Just avoid it. Even if the deal falls through the current owner is widely disliked and wears an out of date hair style from the 80s.
