Unbelievable service! I stopped in to ask them about implants and my horrible looking front tooth that was chipped. They were so helpful and compassionate about the way it made me feel! They squeezed me in, I was very happy and thought I would be there awhile with no appointment, and low n behold I was treated like any and every customer! With care and my tooth looks so pretty!!!!👍

I chipped a crown- I was scheduled quickly so they could take a look and thought I was in for a replacement. Dr. Sawaqed took a look and offered an option to sand/polish the crown to get rid of the jagged edge. This worked perfectly! I was in and out in 20 minutes without a big bill for a new crown. My experience was great! I got a chipped tooth over the weekend. I called Monday and they were able to get me in the next day and get my tooth repaired! Everyone who’s works there is also friendly that’s always a plus! Definitely recommended.

I had to change dentists because I moved, and my daughter recommended Lakewood Dental. The office takes every precaution regarding the Covid-19 scare, social distancing, masks, disinfecting. The office staff is polite and helpful and I was taken in immediately upon my arrival. I had what I think is the best cleaning Ive ever had, the tech did a great job! And I was especially impressed with Dr. Sawaqed! He came in, examined my teeth and gave me information about them and the condition they were in. Best dentist experience I’ve had my entire life. Been coming here for over 7 years now. Started when I had Medicaid, & now I come in on a 6 month basis. Even without insurance, Dr. Tariq offers a program that makes it financially easy to get work done. Warranties everything-but no need, cause nothing ever breaks or fails!Highly recommended.

Lakewood Dental was great in taking care of my mom for an emergency tooth extraction and deep cleaning. My mom is an elderly woman and it was an uncomfortable experience for her. They made sure she was comfortable and monitored her recovery. We remained there for an hour or so until they were confident she was good to go! I highly recommend them.

Very good dentist. They take Medicare as long as you have supplementary dental coverage.Have been on time with little wait from scheduled appointment. Very professional and explains procedures so you can understand in laymans terms.

I had an appointment scheduled for noon but at 11:30 I received a text saying my appointment was cancelled. I called and they said they referred me to a surgeon for sedation because I seemed anxious. I said I’ve been waiting all week for my appointment. They said I could come in at noon for the extraction but after all that hassle, I called a new dentist that is willing to do it on the same day and who wasn’t rude to me at all. I would not recommend this place.

I was very happy with my experience. Had all my upper teeth pulled two days ago and have very little pain today. The whole procedure was explained to me before I had anything more then X-rays done. There were no hidden costs. I have been rather terrified of the dentist since I was a kid. I had enough of pain and infections and now it is behind me. I absolutely love my dental office!! Yesterday I Chipped my front tooth!! Called my dental office on a Sunday to get in ASAP to have it fixed!! They called me first thing Monday morning and got me in the same day!! It was chipped so bad I needed to get pre-approval from my insurance. In the meantime my dentist put a temporary filling till I get my crown approved.. My kids and I have been coming here for about 3 years now.. I would highly recommend Lakewood dental to all my friends and family. The staff here are so sweet, friendly, they walk you through everything and dont leave anything out. I am reading these glowing reviews of Dr. Sawaqed and I am quite surprised. My experience with Dr. Sawaqed was drastically different. Dr. Sawaqed was very abrupt, dismissive and frankly, quite rude in my brief interaction with him. He basically talked in circles about my future oral healthcare needs and provided no solid answers or a plan. He honestly gave me the feeling that he could not wait for me to leave his office. He had his arms crossed over his chest and was very short when I would ask what his recommendations were for my teeth and gum issues and what he would suggest to be addressed first.As a person who is very apprehensive about going to the dentist, I was terribly disappointed and felt very let down about the whole experience. In contrast, the office staff were very nice and helpful.

I went for a preliminary visit/long time coming check up and to address a bad tooth. The staff were all very friendly and happy to answer my questions. I was extremely nervous before coming here, and although its not a calm zen Im feeling now, they helped me greatly! I didnt get the feeling that I was being pressured into anything that day and got good referrals for a tooth extraction I DO NOT want to be awake for! Im coming back for some work to be done soon!EDIT: Just got done with some fillings and a good cleaning. Once again they did great! They listened when something hurt a little and addressed it, and the whole thing went way smoother than I expected. They also somehow managed to get done with everything before my last appointment officially started, so great job on the time too! Thanks guys!

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!! I have been to this place multiple times and STILL have no dentures!!! They referred me to Comfort Dental Oral Surgery and so I did what they said. Then I was told to go back in today and get impressions done so I did. She did impressions and then the quack dentist came in and asked me why I was there because he can’t give me dentures that the oral surgeon should have shaved my bone down!!! All they are doing is trying to get more money. DO NOT go to this place if you expect quality care!!! I will be reporting them to the BBB. Please people these people are SCAMMERS!!!

This dental practice is wonderful. I have been going for a year and they are always on time and efficient. I had my first experience of anesthesia during a dental visit yesterday and the hygienist took her time and listened to me every step of the way. I have learned more about dental hygiene in the past year visiting this dentist than inhave my whole life.

This felt like a personal dentist. Everyone was friendly and quaint and I was allowed in about 15 minutes before my time and they got everything prepared quickly. I called just the day before and they were able to get me in just the next day, which is an incredible difference from any other dentist experience I had. I also had the overarching feeling of honesty and that I wasnt being lied to about anything wrong with my teeth. Highly recommended.

As general I like this dental office, the only thing that my wife and I would like to inform that the material quality of the partial we have is very poor that make our gum sore even my wife had come back to fix it several times and still make her gum pain and sore. I experienced the same thing too, so we better not to use them.

This was a first visit for myself and my daughter. We went for regular cleaning and exams. The gal at the front desk was very helpful trying to figure out my insurance. I interacted with a lot of people for x-rays and cleaning and the exam itself and everyone was friendly, professional and very thorough. Everybody had excellent protective equipment on and I felt very safe and comfortable the entire time.

So I want to start this by saying I’ve never felt the need to leave a poor review in my life but I come here with the hope of saving someone the pain and frustration I’m currently dealing with. I’ve been in increasingly worse pain for the last week. I’m losing sleep and can’t eat anything hard or even close my teeth together because of how swollen my gum is. My jaw hurts to touch. I called because of this severe pain due to my wisdom teeth coming through and impacting. It’s basically an open wound at this point around my tooth. The only reason I called this doctor was because on my last visit he told me he could easily do an extraction with local anesthesia. I was hesitant and needed to think about being awake through the procedure, which I decided I was okay with so I called to get it done. Well they didn’t even mention the extraction when I arrived and acted as if the visit was only a cleaning, I had to mention the extraction again to the receptionist, the nurse and then again to the doctor when he came in to check the cleaning. The doctor, who maybe spent 2 minutes with me total, 30 seconds looking in my mouth and 1:30 telling me he couldn’t do anything about it, really seemed to not care about any of his clients as I listened to a very similar experience happen to someone regarding fillings in the room right next to me. She sounded very bummed to say the least that they forgot her fillings because they just wanted to do the cleaning. The tooth he was saying he was able to remove last visit he deemed irremovable by himself and told me I needed to go to an oral surgeon. I could have just booked an appt. with an oral surgeon in the first place, gotten my X-rays sent to them and avoided this trip and more days of pain and lack of sleep entirely. It took me begging the receptionist to get me pain meds and antibiotics for the giant open wound next to my wisdom tooth to hold me over until my oral surgeon appt. If you desire an impersonal doctor who only visits you for a brief minute so he can say he did and earn his quick buck for the day, general lack of compassion, rushed service and the worst experience you’ve ever had at a healthcare provider then look no further, Lakewood Dental can fill all of these needs and is the place for you!!!

I had to go in for a “deep cleaning” which we all know isn’t fun! Jo was the hygienist who I had and she did amazing and made the experience manageable and she was extremely sweet!

Staff is very nice, however, found that this office fills cavities that do not exist. Filled a spot on my tooth that was previously deemed NOT a cavity. Filled a cavity on my daughter. And told my husband he had multiple cavities. He did not have them filled. He had zero cavities at the previous dentist and zero cavities at our current dentist. I did not realize this was going on until we saw our current dentist.

My first time visiting was 09/24/20. I was impressed with COVID-19 precautions that this business has implemented. Staff was very friendly and dentist was professional as well. I don’t get the impression that the dentist or staff just want in your pockets (money motivated). I will definitely return for my future dental needs.

I went in today at 10 am had some pain from fillings falling out because I grind my teeth at night, they where amazing told me the plan for me and talked to me and told me when I was going to get done and told me when they where going to do it all around felt grate with them all never nice and grate experience over all.

Went to address a bad tooth with severe pain, and was given 3 different stories over several weeks as to why the pain was there. Called in ourselves to scheduled follow up several weeks later, since no one called up back, and when asked why it took so long to schedule, was told we were going to call and schedule you today. This was already 3 weeks after the initial appointment. We had called back because of major swelling in the gums near the affected tooth- which subsided before the scheduled appointment where we were told it wasnt possible that an infection had healed without treatment. This culminated in being told there was a cavity present causing the pain- we ended up going to a different dentist who immediately addressed an infection and a molar that was split entirely in half. Why we were told there was just a cavity when there was an active infection and an entirely cracked open tooth present is beyond me.**Edit for clarification: I was not the patient, my husband was.

I have to say that this was my second visit toLakewood Dental,.The doctors staff Is very professional, very comforting and caring both of my visits there required the most regent care. From the first step in I was very impressed with the way I was given treatment for a very bad tooth that needed direct attention. Doctor Tariq sawaqded and his professional staff has by far the best of the best for me . i will definitely recommend lakewood dental at 84 garrison to all my friends and family..I work in construction where every day is a challenge. This day 3/16/2021 has put me back to where Im very impressed with my visit and future care. The service was pretty quick and the doctor seemed very knowledgable. The first time I came in he was very patient and explained everything to me when I was nervous about getting a filling. The dental hygienist Angelica was SO nice, the sweetest lady Ive ever met, made me feel very comfortable. The second time I went for another filling it seemed they were short staffed, kind of impatient, a little more chaotic. Not sure what was happening that day but overall Id say a great dentist

Had my initial visit there. Definitely making this my new dentist. Dr. S was a friendly guy. Realistic. Didnt make me feel uncomfortable (have had a lot of work done on my teeth). Staff was nice. Overall a pleasant experience to a place I get anxious about. Been a patient for over a year or two now, still a great place, clean, good technology, great staff from the ladies up front to the assistants and hygienists . Such a disappointment. Waited an hour in the parking lot trying to get my insurance confirmed since it was not done prior when they called and received my new insurance card. they couldn’t let me move forward with my scheduled appointment time even though I had been coming here for three years) Then a dental hygienist I had not met before gives me a detailed gum assessment and recommended an elaborate treatment that is 700 out of pocket. After an hour and half, after declining the scaling and lazor treatment, I finally got the cleaning. It was all of 10 minutes and I still have stains on my teeth. I’m puzzled that I would be offered such an expensive cleaning. treatment, yet the hygienist was unable to give me a basic cleaning. Glad I didn’t waste my money there. There was also Multiple people in my mouth. One person polishing, another cleaning, and then the dentist. Why couldn’t just one or two people be in your mouth during a pandemic? And the space I was in seemed to be the storage closet as multiple people were in and out getting things from the station I was in, practically stepping over me. I’ve always gone to the dentist every 6 months and while I was underwhelmed with the practice as a whole, the previous hygienist at least did a thorough job. Now I will be going to one of the top rated dentist in Denver and they will get my business. Thank you for giving me a reason to go to a better and top notch dentistry. The dentist there does Invisalign too, so I’m happy to support them. Do your self a favor and shop around. Ask your friends who they go to. I’m mad at myself for going back to this dental practice.

Had a fantastic appointment if you can believe that from a dentist appointment but it was a great day had to get a tooth pulled, Dr. Tariq is a wonderful dentist and I’m scared to go to dentists office but I had no choice he pulled my tooth out gently I did not even know he was done. My Edda was fantastic I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name even though we talked the whole time I was there, that was how nervous I was to not catch her name. They offered to clean my teeth too! Receptionist is very rude and nasty. Left me on hold foe over 20 minutes. I have been calling foe over a week for an appointment. Ive been going here foe years, but they lost a client. Hire professional people that can accommodate your business needs.

Staff are nice and Dr Sawaqed as well. Its clean and usually fast. The reason three stars is because their billing/insurance is atrocious.I have a unique health insurance with no dental however they cover two cleanings a year and xrays every 3 years. Ive never had a dentist have difficulties in the past with the billing but Lakewood Dental takes the cake there. My wife and I have been twice, paid our copay, and still received multiple bills afterwards. Ive only been twice but have probably had no less than a dozen phone calls to their office and my insurance trying to get everything straightened out. The first time, ok, I get it but after the second visit as well, now Im angry.I bordered on two stars because we may not go back after the headache and frustration and I dont want to deal with this yet again; however, everyone is nice and professional so I gave them three.

This doctor is able to do bridges but he refused to see me because another doctor did the work. The other doctor has retired and no longer in practice. I saw this dentist for a routine cleaning in June and came under his care then.
