Absolutely terrible first the original car i was placed in was so disgusting on the inside cigarette ash everywhere something that looked like blood all over the drivers side pannel and center console. I returned the car with in 5 minutes of having it. Was place into a more expensive car which shouldve been free of charge after being placed in an extremely unsanitary vehicle. Another thing if the payments on it are coming out of my account inconsistently and randomly charging me $150 anywhere between 5 days to 8 days seems kinda sketchy. I call and no help just saying once the vehicle is returned a manager will speak with you. Yeah right. I suggest anyone needing a vehicle find somewhere else.

No help at all. Was told I would have a car ready for me at 430pm and then when I showed up was told it wouldnt be available for a week beyond the day and time their customer service rep guaranteed to me. Then the manager of the store tried to tell me the customer service rep didnt guarantee it, and when I told him to pull the recorded call and check it, he said he would but then interrupted and said they never said that they would guarantee me a car even though he wasnt part of the call. Very poor treatment of a customer that was guaranteed something. Cant wait for the call to be pulled and him to hear her respond with yes, they will have a car ready for you by 430 after I asked if this guarantees me a car today since we need it for our insurance claim. The manager continued to tell me he could help me by getting a car to me next Wednesday when next Wednesday is when my car is out of the shop and I specifically told him we needed it for the weekend. Enterprise, especially this location and the Wheat Ridge location seems to be an utterly customer service poor business.

This is the first time I have rented from this location. We have always rented from Golden but they aren’t as good as they used to be. I am so happy we switched. Harrison was very pleasant, helpful and engaged. Thanks we will definitely be back.

Went to hertz rental car a little over a week ago they had no vehicles for us available. We called enterprise and they were more than happy to assist us. They picked us up within 20 minutes and brought us to their office. Megan was super friendly and very helpful with the whole process and Harrison and her got us into a car very quickly. I would recommend this rental agency to anyone. They’re fast, helpful, and very friendly!

This is the best location ever. After searching for 2 days Ross was able to find me a rental. Megan assisted me today with renting my 15 passenger van. She went above and beyond in making sure that I got a vehicle. She even provided us with different food spots and activities for us to do. Dropped my car at a repair shop and called to see where the rental car was that I had scheduled and confirmed to be there, only to be told that it was “automatically cancelled because it had been in the system for longer than 4 weeks.” I think that’s the point of calling a month ahead and setting up a reservation. No apology, no offer to help, no admission of fault. So bizarre.

I’ve used this location for work a few times over the last couple of years. The majority of the staff I’ve worked with have been superior. They’ve made it really easy for me to send someone else to pickup the trucks and have always been great answering questions. Most recently they noticed our company deserved a better discount because of information we had missing from our account. Top notch service.

I would strongly suggest that anyone returning a car to this branch from a different branch should be warned. Unfortunately for myself, I didnt have that warning prior and was simply returning my car before I could get my own car back from being repaired. I was referred to Enterprise via Progressive who is my insurance company.Anyway, heres what happened. I brought the car back in the condition that it was given to me. No crashes/accidents, no bottoming out of the front end, nothing. As you can see in the pictures below, there actually is no visible damage to the front bumper from an upright position. You know, the position that youre in when you do a standard walk around when you rent a vehicle. I have learned my lesson that apparently you must get on your hands and knees to observe damages to the underside of the vehicle, because you can and will be charged your deductible upon return if you dont. This was also only the beginning of the rabbit hole of poor customer service and management that was my recent experience with Enterprise.When I asked for the manager (Olivia) due to the ridiculous nature of this claim from the associate, we did a walk around. Once again, even the manager did not see the issue at first until bending completely down and getting her face close enough to the ground to be able to look upwards. At this point she informed me that she would have to collect my deductible for the damages on the vehicle upfront or that there would be legal repercussions. In a rush as I was about to be leaving on a trip for the weekend I agreed so that I could get out of that branch as quickly as possible thinking this would be resolved easily.At this point she informed me I would have the ability to dispute this claim via the Damage Recovery Unit but that I should contact the initial branch where I had gotten it from first to resolve. I went to that branch in person, and apparently there is nothing they can do for me. After that I called the Damage Recovery Unit who said that there was nothing they can do for me. They then referred me to the Claims Department. At this point the Claims Department said there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to speak to the Risk Manager for the area. I called the Risk Manager, left a voicemail (still havent heard back) and have tried calling approximately 4 times since then with no answer or returned call. It is apparent at this point that Enterprise is more concerned with their bottom line, and not rightfully returning my deductible for this ridiculous claim, then to provide even decent customer service.All in all, I would just suggest being aware of this branch. I understand that Associate Managers are trying to make a name for themselves and do whats right for the company, but at what expense? Ive used Enterprise many times before but never had an experience quite this poor but will definitely factor in my decisions moving forward when renting a car.

Instead of refunding my deposit they charged my card $300 so now they have $600 and Im still waiting for the money to show up in my bank.Two days later I rent another vehicle and its falling apart (used my free upgrade). They tell me someone will call me and will drive to me to swap the vehicle out. They never called. The next day same thing except the lady told me they wont come to me. I still dont know what will happen..

Terrible experience with their customer service. We rented a car, which was very run down. The manager MR. Harrison is very unprofessional and not courteous. We were trying to get a cab for 40 minutes to get to the airport. Not only did he not offer any help, but he wouldn’t even make a phone call to the local cab to help us. All the years that I rent cara, 30+ years, never gave I had such service, unprofessionalism, and terrible car.

Like a few other reviewers I was hit with a claim that seems suspect. The bumper was a tiny bit separated from the body of the car - I didnt run into anything...and it seems very unlikely that that particular damage was done to it while parked.

I was recently visiting Denver from Dallas. On day 2, I had problems with my rental car from a different company. They didnt have a local car to replace the one I had, so I called the Enterprise Rental around the corner from where I was. They came and picked me up where their guy waited 15 minutes on the wrecker for me. It took five to get to their office, which they had me in and out off in less than 10 minutes. Nice car. The young man behind the counter even convinced me to take the additional coverage. I never do, but luckily I did that time. As it turns out, someone hit the car while it was parked and they didnt bother to leave a note. Ill be back!

I never leave reviews because it makes me feel like a horrible Karen but I guess I have to be now because I literally cant afford to accept their mistake. Enterprise has overcharged me by almost $400, which is pretty detrimental to me at this time.I rented a van for a week through Chase travel, and then after I found out the personal car I was going to use after fell through, I decided to rent an economy car for two days (Wednesday morning to Friday morning). That total was $96ish. Arrived the day of and was told they had no economy cars available because of oil changes but I could keep the van for what I already paid for through Chase travel, so all was good there! I used the car for the two days I wanted and returned it on time, so I pretty much thought we were done and I was pretty happy at that point.A few days later though, over voicemail, an account person claimed I kept the car a total of 6 days instead of the 2 and charged me this insane amount. They admitted to the mistake on the phone several times, but have been really reluctant to give me a refund or give me copies of the rental agreement -- I have a copy through Chase but I wanted to see what they have on file. Its been over 2 weeks and I finally gave up talking to this man (maybe Landon? Lawton? Sorry for forgetting your name!) on the phone over and over and just did a chargeback on my card instead. I definitely will never rent at this location again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone else, in case they make a mistake like this for you and make it hell to get the money back.Update: contacted the email below on Tuesday, was told the regional manager call me as soon as possible, and then never heard from them again :)

Update:The below comment from the owner requesting I email AGAIN is lip service. I’ve emailed and called dozens of times without resolve. I’ve never received a reply to my email and every time I call, Im told a manager will call me to sort it out but a manager has never contacted me.It’s been almost 2 months and enterprise has yet to file an insurance claim with the party’s insurance who hit the rental car. This place is a scam.... they want to keep the deposit and bill their own customer rather than doing the logical and ethical thing and filing an insurance claim with the party at fault for the accident. The other party accepted fault and their insurance company has been calling enterprise begging to pay but only getting the runaround.I will never use this company and advise no one else do either.... this is bad business. I intend on filing a complaint with every relevant regulatory agency.——————————————————————-————I called the reservation line and reserved a sedan for a long road trip. The manager Basara from the Lakewood location later called and said she only had a huge van to rent me. She was rude about it, clearly couldn’t car less that she was changing my car reservation to something absurd and impractical. The change was Curious since the corporate reservation line can see their inventory and reservations! She was not helpful by phone and I knew the whole thing was sketchy. I got the super fake over the top customer service voice that is so ingenuine and did a terrible job of hiding her disdain for customer conversations. I go in, they try and send me out with this van which is not only absurdly big but also filthy with strong cig smoke odor. I beg for another vehicle. I have to go to the end of the line, wait an hour, but MIRACULOUSLY they have multiple sedans and send me out with one. Why didn’t they just give me one to begin with? The sedan I got was also filthy and smelly but at least not a cig smell. I drive out to see family out of state. While at family’s, my mom backs into the rental. Not a lot of damage, but a dent so we file a claim with her insurance. Upon return with the vehicle, I have to interact with sketchy rude Basara again. She can’t explain the claims process to me, doesn’t give me a copy something she forces me to sign, refuses to tell me her name so that I can follow up with corporate and mocks me throughout the conversation... in front of other customers. A guy literally laughed at one point... not sure if he thought her high pitch fake customer service voice was funny or he was just as uncomfortable witnessing the interaction as I was being a part of it. Anyways, go to the Wheatridge enterprise... they are nice, helpful, and won’t lie and try and screw you over (like Basara will at the Lakewood location). I usually go to Wheatridge and will be sure to next time.

Bascha Klein at the West Colfax location in Lakewood, Colorado is very professional and very well informed regarding all aspects of the services, regulations and requirements provided by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.Having used a ride share (Lyft) to go to the Enterprise location nearest me, I was disappointed to find they had recently closed that particular location permanently due to the pandemic. I then went to the West Colfax location and even though my reservation was not through her location, she pulled up my reservation and made it happen....all while tending to two other rentals and two returns. This location was weird... When I picked up the car and dropped it off there were people complaining about the car, being charged more than agreed and paying for damages that did not happen. To top it off, as Im signing documents the representative asks me what happened to my car that causes me to need a rental? Which is not his business, however as a visitor in the state, its common to get a rental car. This location need a complete revamp. There are plenty of enterprise rentals in the city, Id suggest to find another one. I was charged correctly and had no issues except the weird question.

I had rented an SUV Toyota Rav 4 they didnt have one but my up grade was super and for the same price it was just awesome I would have never known what it was like to be in a BMW loved it. I will never rent a car from Enterprise again. I reserved a car from this location weeks before my trip to Colorado in which I 100% needed a vehicle to get to my destinations. I got the confirmation email the day before and ordered an Uber to the location to pick up the car. When I got there they informed me that they had absolutely no vehicle, didn’t even call me to inform me of this fact, and offered little to no help in finding another vehicle. How does one run a business of renting out cars and not inform the customer if they ran out of cars?!? There was a supposed hail storm that took out their ‘entire’ fleet yet other car rental agencies in the area had cars, interesting. They rushed me out the door saying that I can find a car at another car rental agency without looking to see if this location actually had vehicles. Thankfully this new location was competent enough to have vehicles and get me a car in a timely fashion. I wasted my entire morning finding a new car due to this company’s incompetence and had to pay more money due to the last minute rental. Unbelievable.

I highly suggest looking and marking EVERYTHING ON YOUR VEHICLE! I mean take pictures I mean the FULL 360 they are out to get you. When I first got my rental we did a walk around and everything was solid HOWEVER I did not check the top of the vehicle during the walk through which I wish I did... signed the paper went about my day. When I went to return the vehicle I went out of my way to clean the inside, wipe it down, vacuum washed the outside, you know return it the way it was given to me .... (which was actually cleaner than when given to me) so I went to return the vehicle and right away customer service was terrible. I sat in a chair waiting for the lady at the desk, a gentleman walked in after me and she proceeded to ask him how she could help him... I’m like okkkkk, anyway I go up and she goes to inspect the car which she inspected it harder than the First Lady even did seemed like she was looking for ANYTHING!! I knew right away great we are going to have a problem..... and when she comes in she tells me “I just need my manager to double check something real quick and we will get back with you” she comes back out and tells me that there is “hail damage” on the top of the vehicle ... They charged me my deductible which is 1000.00 but I didn’t have the whole amount because I am a mother for two supporting a family ..... she proceeded to tell me that I could just pay “500.00 and she is doing me a favor and helping me out” and THEN ENDED UP CHARGING ME 575 and when I asked her about it she said on her end it only charged me 500.00.... THEN I asked how does a car only get hail damage on the top of a vehicle and not on the hood or any other area... she said “oh that happens sometimes” so at this point I’m ticked...... I didn’t even realize when she handed me the paperwork she WROTE ON THE PAPER WORK THE HAIL DAMAGE WAS ALL OVER THE VEHICLE !!!!! Mind you I washed it before returning and NEVER SEEN ANY DAMAGE, I wish I would have taken pictures you guys I highly suggest you do not come here, I am currently battling this with my insurance. I straight up feel robbed. I couldn’t even enjoy getting my own car returned to me after my accident. My family is also suffering because of this so just keep this in mind.Thanks.

Yesterday my husband had an accident in his truck at 7:30 am At 8:15am we made a claim and set up a rental reservation for a truck for 4:00pm. Later, just before our reservation at 4pm we were told they couldn’t get him a truck after he stressed to them how much he needed the truck for work to carry tools. We get there and they have a little Audi SUV we asked for something bigger and they didn’t have anything. My point is we called at 8am to set this reservation they had all day to call around and find a truck or a bigger SUV and didn’t . But then made it a priority for the next day to find us a bigger vehicle. It should’ve been a priority at 8am when we called and if they couldn’t do it they should’ve let us know sooner so we could’ve went somewhere else.

Very accommodating. Followed up with phone call prior to reservation. Great service. I would suggest they try and find a way for customers to add a driver to a contract without stopping at a enterprise location. There should be a way online. I needed to add a driver in a remote area and couldnt without driving 100 mile to an airport. All other locations were closed

The only thing that I wish they would do better is wash the inside of the windows as a regular step in preparing the car for the next customer. All rental companies seem to have this issue but this is another way for Enterprise to distinguish themselves above the others. They are pretty good at it in most categories.

Had some trouble getting a car because all my stuff is out of state(got in an accident and I guess the persons insurance didnt figure thatd be a problem), but they worked with me and got every taken care of by letting me put in my moms name. Then had trouble finding a car that was able to be rented right away, and them upgrading my rental for free, and ended up being there 30mins after they closed but the guy was extremely nice and helpful.

This is the second time my family has used this Enterprise location and Im sure it wont be the last. Our car was ready, excellent and friendly staff, and easy to find. We didnt want to rent a car at the DEN airport because of the extra cost. We simply hopped on the city train and got off at Lakewood. Within 5 minutes Enterprise picked us up in our Jeep rental car and we were soon off to beautiful Steamboat Springs. The $18 dollar round RR trip from the airport saved us over $200. If youre flying into Denver and want to save money, go to this Enterprise location. Highly recommended. JHM

EDIT: Ive used these guys many times when having my car worked on, going out of town and while on vacation. Until this last time I always gave 4 or 5 ⭐. But the last time I brought the rental back she did a whole white glove magnifier inspection on the car. Which would be fine if it happened every time, but it NEVER HAS!! So I dont kmow if the mark on the car was bc of me, but either does she. So now theres a claim to my insurance meaning her car gets fixed and Im paying my $500 deductible AND have a mark on my insurance and my monthly bill goes up. So why on earth should she be doing a 287 point check when the guy that handed me the keys only does a 7?

I didn’t have the best experience with the manager mike, but when I went a few miles away to another location (Littleton) they were super helpful and took care of me right away -without assuming I was ghetto or a thief which is how mike treated me, having a credit debit card that not only has a lot of money attached to it but also a credit line. I run my own business so don’t have a 40hour a week paycheck to present. It shouldn’t be an act of Congress or interrogation to rent a basic car. Probably best to avoid this office as the manager was not accommodating and quite frankly rude to me. It seems so hit or miss with enterprise locations and seems to depend on the staffs mood how they treat their customers. I run multiple businesses and would fire people if they acted that way.

Driving to the dealership I call down to request that they bring the car there. Devon told me that they could not spare a person, and that I would have to wait until I arrive at the dealership to call them. I said, so when I get to the dealership and call you I will have to sit 15 minutes for you to come and pick me up? Devon: Yup, thats about right. When I arrived the dealership I call them right away. 45 minutes later someone finally arrives. They then drive me over to the enterprise where there are no less than five people including the person that drove me over there sitting around doing nothing. This includes my dear friend Devon. Devon had next to him a sticky note that someone had drawn the middle finger on. Very classy Devon. Devon then puts me in Chrysler 200 clown car that is filthy inside and looks like someone took their drink and just threw it on the ceiling in the back. The car also had less than a half a tank of gas. I called customer service who told me they would be getting back to me in 24 hours and that they did not need my reservation number. 24 hours later I get an email from the customer service telling me they cant locate my reservation because they dont have my reservation number. I call back and give them the information and they tell me it might be not until Monday when I hear from them. Absolutely, positively the worst car rental experience I have ever had in my life.

Ive always rented from here. They are so nice and workable. Ive rented from here 5 cars from them since 2016 maybe a couple of more... But i have driven two different Tahoes, charger, jeep Cherokee, Mitsubishi highlander I think thats what its called... And tomorrow going out of town and really hope it s the same employees Ill see tomorrow... Reservation already for early a.m.

Honestly surprised at all the 5 star reviews this store is garbage and the staff and management is rude! They are unwilling to help and the previous reviews about them trying to get money for damages is very accurate, they tried to get me on “hail damage” - liars, and scammers.

Havent rented my car yet, but Ive had to call up today because i messed up reserving my car for the proper time 3 times today and everyone I spoke to on the phone was very kind and informative. Im not from the area and they told me exactly how to get to them and offered to pick me up from a nearby station. Wonderful experience so far and Im excited to pick up my car this week :D

I rented the car through Travelocity and was never told I needed a credit card to pick it up. I use my debit card for everything and didn’t think twice about it not being acceptable. When I presented my card the employee ran off a huge list of things they need in addition.... proof of insurance, proof of employment, 2 references, my travel itinerary and a deposits charged to my card for 2 full days, plus this that and whatever else. Honestly I made my head spin! I was traveling, who carries all that with them? Luckily I’m pretty organized and found ways to access it all and provide it but it was the most frustrating part of the trip. Apparently they’re in a bad neighborhood and cars get stolen all the time... Hmmmmmm.So I guess this review is to tell everyone make sure you bring a CREDIT card.

.On May 8, 2017 my area was hit by a major hail storm and, along with hundreds of other residents, I had to have body work done on my car. My insurance company, Geico, arranged with Enterprise for use of a rental.I would like to say that my experience with Enterprise could not have been better. Of course the car itself was great (new Impala) but what stood out was the excellent customer service I received from Enterprise from the initial briefing on the cars features to the shuttle ride back home after the return.I refer specifically to the branch at 8200 West Colfax in Lakewood, Colorado. Every single employee who I dealt with at that branch was friendly, courteous, informative and very professional... I was completely satisfied with Enterprise and recommend them, especially the West Colfax branch, without hesitation...

I rented a Chevy Sonic (Compact) for an entire month, using it extensively in the mountains to photograph changing aspens in September. I got surprisingly good gas mileage (37 MPG) and it performed well even at altitude. The only issue with the car from the start was a broken latch on the glove compartment, and Enterprises fix was a strip of duct tape, which worked for about a day. But if this type of minor issue helps keep the cost down, Ill deal with it. Being off-airport and nearly new but not brand new (33,000 miles), it was an excellent deal. Id come back to this location in a heartbeat.

The lack of communication for my Colfax location was very poor was not able to get a hold of anyone after picking up my vehicle to try to extend it I had a poor experience even returning the vehicle because the doors were locked and nobody was at the door very slow process not very happy about it probably would choose a different location but I do understand the covid 19 probably have a lot to do with it as far as the customer service with the girl there It was not a problem at all and the long wait time from customer service was trying to extend it was horrible So overall not very satisfied for this particular trip

The worst experience of my life at Enterprise- dont ever go to Enterprise on Colfax in Lakewood Colorado- they are the worst managed car rental place Ive ever rented from- they lie about the car that you have reserved, that they say is waiting for you- they want to give you a free upgrade -thats a scam to give you a big car- midsize gas hog that some people are not even physically able to drive, I am one that cannot drive a midsize car, conflicting information from Peter, Marley & Customer Service-false promises- they totally wasted my time and my money-I will never go to Enterprise as long as I live -I encourage you not to use them either. Peter is an ineffective Manager totally cavalier with the inconvenience on me, wasting my time & money. I made the reservation 3 months ago & Enterprise cannot deliver. It use to be a decent company but not anymore - they have no customer service anymore.

If I could make a lower review I would. The word numb comes to mind when I think of the special people who work here. Told us they had a car and paid extra to get it a few hours early. Paid for an Uber to enterprise. Come to find out they must be stoned and can’t do their job. What a joke thanks for wasting our last day of vacation.

They did not have a car ready for us, an hour past our scheduled time we ended up having to leave because it still wasnt ready.They ended up showing up in a different car than wed be allowed to rent and told us to go back to the office with them where we could wait for the car to be ready. With a baby and a car seat to deal with we didnt want to swap the seat out more than once, and it was getting late and we had other appointments to go to so we ended up leaving.

In case of emergency, such as a horrible hail storm, DO NOT RELY ON ENTERPRISE. DO NOT RELY ON THIS FACILITY. THEY WILL NOT PICK YOU UP. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES. THEIR HOLD MACHINE DUMPS YOU AFTER 5 BLOODY MINUTES. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE HOLY, USE SOMEONE ELSE.Havent been able to talk to a single human at this location, with over 2+ hours jumping into the cactus that is their holding machine. Corporate cant do diddly squat either. Utterly pathetic.

Originally I rented a Buick Verano. When I arrived, I was given a Chevy Cruze which was too small. It was also full of animal hair. I was upgraded to a Dodge Journey after I complained so the trip was pleasant. I felt like they only made it right after I complained. If I wouldnt have complained, I would not have had as good an experience. My rating would have been higher if I hadnt had to complain to get good service. As it stands the service was only fair at best.

We had excellent customer service at this location. Our representative was responsive to our needs and was able to swap out the car they had assigned with a car that had a cd player so my kids could listen to their books on cd. When we returned it a day early, they happily discounted our total by one day... another rental agency charged us extra for an early return.
