Ive had an appointment with Kimmy today. After so many years without seeing anybody,I was really nervous but excited at the same time to meet my hairstylist.  Kimmy was on time and really sweet and welcoming! She heard me,  she totally understood what type of hair I wanted and how I wanted it. She did magnificent and I honestly feel like a new person with my short haircut. My bridal party and I all had our hair done at International Hair Design on my wedding day, and they did such an amazing job.I worked especially with Maria, who I had seen for a consultation and then the hair trial beforehand. I looked forward to seeing her everytime since shes just so great and easy to talk to.She also did an amazing job. The only service I had done was a hair cut. I called them when I got there before going in. They sanitize between customers, wear masks and have plastic up at the check out desk. Not many people were in there. Good to be back!

IHD is such a pleasant place for getting hair done. Everyone is SO friendly and accommodating. Kimmy has been doing my hair for years and she is the absolute best. My Artistic Designer, Mare, is simply the very best!!! Mare always offers ideas for hair coloring or sometimes suggestions to consider a different hair style. All of the staff are very friendly and it is obvious that Dawn, the owner, is top notch!!

Ive been going for more than 15 years now and have never been disappointed. In that time Ive had multiple different hairstyles (going from elementary school, middle school, high school, and college) and have been seen by different stylists. Where do I begin to express my love for everyone in this salon. Every staff here is wonderful and will take care of you like a princess ( or prince). I had my wedding hair done by Julia and make up done by Stevie and I couldn’t be more happier with my choice. Also with all the stress my skin took a turn for the worse right before my big day. Kelsey, Irina and Nina are my go-to gals for services.Much to my moms (and dads) displeasure, I’m as big of a tom-boy as one can be, so I suck at doing my own make up... Kelsey does a fantastic job! She’s done my makeup for 3 weddings now and is amazing at giving me a natural look!With every facial that I get, Irina gives me new tips on how to keep my skin healthy and moisturized... and blackhead free!Due to my avid obsession with running, my toes and feet take a beating. Nina helps me keep free of ingrown nails and, again, because I’m a tom-boy, I don’t particularly care about the color of my nails (as long as it’s not pink!).. Nina does a fantastic job of choosing colors that best suit my personality. Nina also surprises me from time to time with placing designs on my nails which is pretty cool.Thank you ladies for at least making me look girlie!

Karl is a fantastic barber and I could not recommend anyone more! He is a really friendly guy, fun to talk to, and he has a great memory for what is going on in your life/ what you have talked to him about prior. He is so great at what he does that I even drive down from Milwaukee now just to get a haircut every month or so now that I live up here. I highly recommend getting your hair cut by Karl to any guy who is looking for a hassle-free experience and a great haircut. My son first started going to Karl and kept telling me how nice the experience was. As a guy, I don’t really know what I want my hair to look like and I don’t have a lot of direction to give a hair stylist. With Karl, he asked a few questions on my first visit and now every time I go the only question he asks is: Same as last time? Then when he’s done, I have another great haircut.Karl is also very easy to talk to. He remembers what we talked about during the last visit and genuinely sounds interested in seeing how things turned out and inquiring on anything new. I’m not sure how long the haircut takes, but the time flies by. I actually look forward to getting my haircut now.

She is kind and knowledge with all skin related topics (and a great ear to listen about your life :) ). Maria is the one and only for my hair. She is a master at coloring and many many people have told me they didnt know I color my hair :) She is a great stylist as well as a great person! The salon as a whole is relaxing and welcoming- I love my salon :)

I have been coming to International Hair Designs for many years. I cant say enough about Irina and Nina. I wont let anyone else touch my eyebrows except Irina, she is expert at shaping. She always gives me great skin tips as well. Nina gives the best manicures and pedicures around. After filing, soaking and cleaning, her expert nail application makes my nails look terrific. She even provides some special artwork if that is what you like as an accent. Her pedicures always leave my feet soft and beautiful. She is very good at helping find the best colors for your skin tone or for a special occasion. I dont know what I would do without either of these two ladies!

I am new to town and this salon was recommended to me and Pam was the stylist who cut my hair. Pam is excellent at mens hair cuts and the salon itself is clean and modern. I started going to International Hair Designs when I moved here about 8 years ago. The staff is so friendly and inviting. After my initial stylist moved away, I started seeing Julia. Shes been fantastic. Shes so sweet and knows how to work with my naturally curly hair. She also makes great suggestions when Im trying to figure out something new to do with my hair. Always does a GREAT job!

I am allergic to hair dye and have had some bad experiences. Pam was very cautious when applying the color. I had no reactions at all. Will definitely be booking again with Pam.

Praise and more praise to Nina, my favorite nail artist!! So glad I found a true craftsman and a caring person whose attention to details and integrity produces truly beautiful results. My nails are healthy and strong due to her advanced techniques and high standards.I only wish that the business owners realized that the room she creates miracles inis way too small! A dated pedicure chair and overall cramped space with no natural light do not belong in the 21st century. Coloring room right next to the nail “salon” is not a great idea for people with allergies, either. Really hope business owners can make necessary and long overdue changes to accommodate modern equipment in a bright well ventilated space both your wonderful artists and their grateful clients deserve!

I have visited Irina at International hair design for waxing, and my experience with her has always been exceptional! She makes you feel extremely comfortable, she is so personable, and your time there is beyond amazing! She answers all of your questions, is knowledgeable about all of her products, as well as what would be best for you and your skin. She is gentle and is tentative to your specific needs. I recommend you use her for ALL facial, skin care, or waxing needs! Irina is FANTASTIC

This place was amazing. Seriously, some of the best customer service Ive experienced in a long time. I had Stevie cut and color my hair and she was phenomenal. Super sweet to talk to and she made sure I was getting exactly the color and style I wanted. She was wonderful. This will most definitely be my go to place from now on (after searching for quite some time) and I would highly recommend it!

Mare has been my stylist for about a year now and honestly I couldn’t be happier! She’s easy to work with and has a great time helping me explore my style and adventures in hair. The best bit is that there’s no awkward forced interactions. None of the “wow the weather is weird right?” Bull you have to try to pretend you’re okay with. Everything felt very organic and simple working with her and I plan to keep coming back for as long as Mare is there to take care of me!

Chris was outstanding with my daughter!! She took the time to personally go through the step by step process of the color, look, and technique that my daughter wanted for her hair. Ive gone to enough hair salons to know that many of them arent all that relaxing or friendly... they just seem a tad fake and perhaps also rushy and uptight. Not at all how it is in this friendly, relaxed salon! I actually enjoy the experience of getting my hair cut here. Pam has been cutting my hair, and what Ive noticed is that her cuts look great for a LONG time, and they dont require any styling at all (which I refuse to do anyway). Also love it that I can just get a cut without paying for a blow dry! Anyway, because Ive been growing my hair out, Ive been waiting 4, 5 months between cuts, and Ive been amazed at how the intelligence of the cut has survived the growing out process. Just got a fresh cut yesterday and it looks fantastic. Finally, Pam is smart and relaxed and lovely to be around. In short, a GREAT salon and I am so glad to have found it.

I have been going to International Design for over 30 years. Over the years I probably used each stylist at least once. Ive always been pleased with the services no matter which stylist did my hair. As ahouse client, I never have had to worry about getting an appointment even at the last minute.The philosophy of the salon is obviously one that fosters integrity and quality. The atmosphere is tranquil and I always feel relaxed and pampered when I leave. All the stylists appear to get along and care about each other which makes it feel peaceful. I have never heard an unkind word or any unkind conversations while enjoying my time at International Hair Design.

With a sigh of relief I can happily say I have found my new Salon and Stylist, Mare! I arrived early to my appointment, during my lunch hour, and just observing Mare I knew she was a seasoned expert Stylist. I couldnt wait for her to make me beautiful again. I love going to International Hair Designs. I walk in feeling shabby and unkempt and walk out always feeling fabulous. I switched to Julia after my first stylist moved away. I was very nervous initially about my switch because at the time I had very long (to the small of my back), very straight hair that was difficult to cut smooth. She never gave me an uneven cut. When she colors my hair, it always looks and feels very natural. When both my girls decided to cut their waist length hair for locks of love, I knew she was the best person. After seeing the fantastic results, I had her cut my hair short the very next day. I have never been disappointed in all (6? 7?) years she has been taking care of my hair. I had never had my hair colored before - and wanted something fun. Jen did a red ombre and it looked amazing!! I have Auburn hair and was a little nervous about how it would turn out, but I was IN LOVE with it! Going back soon for her to do the roots, might try going a little lighter on the bottom. Jennifer S has been my stylist for a few years. I started going to International Hair Designs when she started working there I was pleasantly surprised how great the salon is overall. Not only is Jennifer a great stylist (she is professional, knows her color, is so down to earth and easy to talk to) but the rest of the staff there are so friendly and professional. I highly recommend this salon and Jennifer as a wonderful stylist. My daughter also goes to Jennifer and her hair is very fragile Jennifer knows just what to do to care for her hair and get it healthy. She also makes sure to fit us in at our convenience which is rare these days at other salons.

My stylist was Pam, who was absolutely wonderful! She listened to what I wanted, explained everything she was going to do, and took her time to make sure I walked out with the look I wanted.
