This company is a scam and they lie regarding instances with “their” customers. I had to go through them with AAA, which are amazing unlike this poorly organized company”. They do not abide by AAA guidelines and try to get money out of AAA customers for towing. They first said they couldn’t tow my vehicle from residence to residence and then they switched their narrative to the vehicle is working and I just wanted a tow. I specifically informed the tow truck driver, which I think it was a language barrier mishap, because he completely misunderstood me. The vehicle is NOT mobile because the steering wheel locks and the care shuts down automatically—it’s dangerous to drive it, but according to them that a mobile vehicle. Should I listen to them or my mechanic? Hmm lol Furthermore, my mechanic was doing us a huge favor by working it at his house with a relative, but again they didn’t want to tow for two different reasons which are ridiculous. I have contact and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because they are scammers(charging for outside towing that wouldn’t be associated with AAA), are putting customers at risk (forcing them to drive unsafe vehicles and not very far kind you), and construct absurd lies.

I would highly recommend AV Towing based on my experience with DJ today. He was so kind and generous in the way he took care to get my vehicle running again. I am an older woman with no family nearby and DJ treated me like a family member. I am so grateful for his compassionate care...it made my day! Thank you again, DJ‼️🙏🏼

I was having one of those days where every little went wrong. My car battery was dead so I called AAA only to realize my wallet was nowhere to be found. I was told I couldn’t get a jump without ID. I made multiple attempts to improvise with the situation but nothing was working. I called home for help and of course they called AAA. Two ladies were willing to donate their own AAA services to get me the jump I needed but fortunately “Joe” had compassion. I say this in quotes because it was his first day in the job and he didn’t have his own uniform yet. Chris Rabino helped me out of the jam I was in. He was very polite and he helped me get the jump I needed to get my car back up and running. He was willing to work with the donations offered to me and my customer service experience could not have been better! I would recommend Chris Rabino to everyone who has AAA.

Called AAA and they sent out Aliso Viejo Towing & Recovery. A wonderful young man named Robert arrived and changed my flat tire in the rain in only a few minutes. He was so pleasant and kept asking if I needed anything else. I would recommend Robert to anyone who needs roadside help. He was just great. Awesome!

WOW! Called this morning to make an appointment to pick up items out of my car and spoke to a very nice man. He said not a problem and to give them 30 min advance notice so someone could meet us there. Then I called to make the appt. and spoke to Lisa and boy o boy, she was SO rude! I told her we wanted to go to the yard to pick up items and she told me it costs $80 to have someone meet us there because the yard is closed. I understand that there is procedure, but really, need to be SOOO rude! Would never have picked this company knowing how unprofessional and uncompassionate this company is. If Lisa represents Aliso Viejo Towing, I think you should rethink who answers your phone!

Most disgusting, tow yard ever! I have been trying to get my car out all morning, because Instead of a fix it ticket for my registration a wonderful rsm officer decided to have it towed. The woman, Lisa, is a piece of work. I can show her fees have been paid, insurance, drivers license etc. I need a one day moving permit, which I can get but even though she said that is what she would need she wouldnt allow me to have my car. All because I live in riverside county and that paperwork is at home, not in my car

Ive read many of the reviews, and a lot were not good. We belong to AAA and the service we received from ROBERT on 4/12/17 was very good. My question is this: As a whole, are the triple A members/customers treated much differently (such as being given a superb, honest treatment) as oppose to those who are not members? It seems like it is, based on what Ive read on the negative reviews . At any rate, ROBERT was very polite, friendly and very helpful. I wasnt expecting so much niceties but I got it from him. Thank you ROBERT. I just hope this kind of niceties and honesty are accorded to ALL potential customers this company serve.

If there was an option to give zero stars I definitely would. I called telling them my father was missing and could not contact him, the only information I had was that his truck was towed there. After several attempts and begging to just say if yes/no the truck was there all I got was a rude lady who hung up the phone on me and told me to find another way to contact my father. Even after I told her I had talked to the police stating he was missing, even the lady at the police office thought it was weird that this other lady would not give me a simple yes the truck is here or no it is not. I understand they have a policy but there is no need to be rude when a person is desperate in figuring out where his family member is and they are the only hope one has to know if the loved one is okay or not. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS LADY!

AVTR Drive Josh was here quick to my location. However he mentioned that he call me four times and he did not call me four times. LIAR! when he arrive he asked me a few times what’s wrong with the car. all this information was given to my AAA membership. He asked me more questions than my AAA membership and According to my AAA membership the only thing they suppose to asked me is for my driver license.Honestly I do not wanna leave my review. according to rating of reviews they already have.

Service is hit and miss. Some drivers are great! But generally disappointed in leadership and the management of AV towing. Called for a tow truck: first they said 30 mins, then 45 mins and then 2-3 hr wait. The drivers seem to pick and choose the jobs they want and dont put servicing the customer first. Given a choice I would call another tow company

Someone stole a Starbucks card from my totaled car and used it for months. That wasnt cool.

I called AAA to report a flat tire. Your man Robert showed up within 15 mins. and he was excellent !He has a great attitude and he had the spare tire fitted in less than 10 mins. I highly recommend him ... a job well done !

We were stuck on the freeway. The CHP called them out and they gave us a price of $160.00 to tow us in. After getting to our location the bill turn into $250.00 Service was great, but changing the price is wrong.

These guys will rip you off. If they suggest you need a new battery then get a second opinion and if actually needed go buy a new battery because the one you get from them will not be new. They are extremely rude and I was told after asking you guys dont care at all do you? no we dont(followed by a chuckle).

Got duped into having my vehicle towed to AVT yard in Lake Forest by the tow driver that CHP called out after a hydroplane accident (Literally 20 mins after an accident the TOW truck driver is there trying to sale you on having them tow it to their yard).The TOW truck driver also had no clue how to winch my car out so he called another tow truck driver and waited for 2 hours for him to show. I then get billed for both trucks.They then refused to release the vehicle to me and wanted over $800 for the tow and 2 days storage. CHP did not impound the vehicle (the accident involved no other vehicles, no injuries, and no property dmg other than my vehicle and a road sign) but they assume just because CHP called them it is an impound. 4 days later and $200 storage fees later and they will release my vehicle after talking to a CHP officer. These guys are a huge ripoff and should definitely be reported to BBB and be taken off of the CHP call list. Please call CHP and BBB to report your experience with this business and its unscrupulous business practices. They do all of this for 2 reasons:1. Builds up the fees against your vehicle so you cant or wont pick it up and the can send it to collections after potentially thousands of dollars of debt have collected.2. Make it extremely difficult for you to get you vehicle out while they put a lien on your vehicle and let option 1 run its course.California Highway Patrol should be ashamed of themselves for letting a business get away with these kind of tactics.

They do not deserve their AAA account! After being dispatched around 8 pm they supposedly had two of their vehicles break down each causing an hour delay. They were dispatched around 8PM and the vehicle was dropped of at 12AM.

AAA needs to stop using them i waited 2 hours then they call me and argue they showed up lie

Horrible service. I had them tow my truck and the driver couldnt stay in one lane on the freeway, almost missed my exit. Then he was stopping at green lights and closing his eyes, couldnt stay in one lane drive on surface streets kept stopping in the middle the of the street. then when I called the main office after the guy left the man i talked to just blew it off like it was no big deal
