Seriously awesome place and barbers! Got my cut with Max. I showed a picture of what I wanted and he cut with excellent precision, true professional and superb in every way.

Great atmosphere, price is real good based off barbers in the area. Service is good depending n the barber. Some are talkative and some don’t talk at all. Some enjoy cutting hair and some are just cutting hair. That’s the toughest part choosing who you are going to go to or just go to the first chair that is open. My suggestion is check out the barbers, before just hopping in any chair.

Best place to take your kids and men adults for haircut. Never had a bad cut from any of the barbers. Always went home happy. Some barbers are better than others but everyone does a great job and knows what their doing.

Very friendly shop they took in quick and service was amazing the barber we got was very personable and nice to my 7 yr old son.

The haircuts arent bad, maybe a 4 star haircut. I only gave 2 stars because of the entire experience. If you dont mind waiting an hour for a 20 minute average haircut then this is your place. Or you can find a barber that takes reservations and not waste an hour+ of your life.

Prior posts are spot on. I have been coming to this barber shop for nearly a year now and have never been disappointed with a cut and I have had nearly all these gentlemen trim my crown and beard.Unfortunately, prior posts are correct about wait times as well. Expect exceptionally long wait times especially during peak hours. Some times you may luck out and get a seat right when you walk in, but the vast majority of the time expect a wait.However there is a good reason why you wait, because you are guaranteed a stellar cut.

I always get a great haircut here. I am not sure I have ever left without giving a gracious tip for the quality of the cut. The only reason I dont give five stars is due to the way the line is set-up. There is no organization and it leads to several awkward interactions where people arent sure who is next. You also need to be prepared to wait. You WILL get a great haircut, but they take their time. I have waited upwards of an hour at times. Please dont let that dissuade you from going; just plan accordingly.

Went to this place 2 times.Several reasons I wont come back.1 - you cant book an appointment2 - every time you will get a random barber unless you wait an extra time untill they are free3 they turn you away from the mirror so you cant see what they are doing4 - only managers know how to cut hairs well. Other guys will give you an average haircut. I dont like averageBut if you are able to get to the manager and dont mind waiting - pretty fine place for a cut.

Walked in an waited about 5 mins to get a seat, the guy totally understood what I was wanting to get. We had a really good conversation about random topics without that weird barber and person awkwardness. The haircut turned out to be better than what I had originally had in mind. I wish I had got his name so I could mention him. The shop alone is cool enough to just go to for the vibe. The paintings and signs are awesome to stare at. Honestly this might be my regular place.

You need a haircut and perhaps a shave. You walk in. Several gentlemen are seated already and stare at you. Now you’re uncomfortable. You sit. You notice the barbers are all a unique bunch of sirs, but with something in common: they will NOT stop trying to make each other laugh. Soon you’re laughing too, but trying not to seem like it because then you wouldnt be the tough, masculine symbol of rugged manliness you are outside of the Golden Crown. Now youre getting called for your turn to get a haircut. You get a haircut. Youre pleased with your haircut. You gladly tip the man who cut your hair in such a way that you are no longer a scraggly mess of hippy-dippy, but a full-fledged gentleman, ready for anything life may throw at you.This is how it is EVERY TIME at the Golden Crown Barbershops. This place is outrageous - BEWARE! They change their published rates at will. We just went in for a haircut and their prices were 50% higher today ($30) because:1. Only 2 guys were working2. It was Black FridayHighway robbery! Avoid at all costs if price stability and honesty matters to you!

After being turned down by a barber shop, and having unsatisfactory experiences and other shops, I am so so glad to have found golden crown. Shay (hope I spelled that right, sorry if I didnt!) was my barber and he did a great job, he was friendly, and affordable. Ive told everyone I know in the area and highly recommend stopping in. Its a walk in only place so you might have to wait, but I waited maybe a tad over 5 min, so really a non issue there. Thanks for the great service!

Great hair cut every time

Some people have their barber which I get, Ive been one of those people before. What i love about Golden Crown is that I dont have to be one of those people. The line can get long so its great to know that whenever a chair opens up, the dude standing there with the scissors is competent and wont leave me feeling like a schmuck. Fair warning, Ive waited over an hour on a Friday evening/Saturday morning-afternoon but its worth it.

Ive been here many times and probably seen a different barber each time. To date, every single haircut and experience has been great. The guys who work here are fantastic.

Great group of guys, always very friendly and easy to talk to. The price is right and includes a neck shave.Even when the place is busy, the wait isnt too long. I trust all of them to give me a good haircut and have yet to be disappointed.

Worst Barber, wanted a low taper ended up looking like Forrest Gump. A good barber listens to what client wants. When you go to a restaurant and waiter asks you what you want (steak) then comes back and gives you fish whats wrong with that picture? Get atta here! Never will I go there. Anyone looking for a good barber shop go to American barbershop in Santa Ana. Worth the drive. They cut it the way you want it.

I took my son for a haircut, I always see men and children lined up waiting to open. I wasnt wrong taking him there they do a fenomenal job I loved my sons hair cut.

Terrible cut. Was very disappointed, barber rushed the cut and my crown is botched. The system for who gets the next available barber was just awkward. Customers were left to figure it out themselves which is fine but it wasnt ideal.

I went there once like 2 years ago and Ive never gone anywhere else ever since. Besides prime haircuts that are the best you can ask for, the people there are so friendly and cool that I would never go anywhere else.

Only reason its not 5 stars is because of the wait. If you get there 10 min. before it opens and wait you can usually get right in and out. It is first come first serve, so mornings can be crowded and you might be waiting for a while. They are also cash only.

Been here several times but I dont go there anymore, if you care about your hair you shouldnt go either, The last time I went there the guy gave me the worst hair cut and he screwed up the line that I asked him to make and it didnt look good at all even some other people noticed it too, after he was done I just gave him the money for the hair cut but i did not tip him so he started yelling at me in front of everyone( Im only 15 years old), really disappointed by how they tread their customers.
