Our sales consultant was Jess. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in. She went above and beyond to make sure our car purchasing experience went smoothly, and that we got the price point we were needing for our budget. She even toured us around the dealership and introduced us to the service department team, oil & lube team, and went through the vehicle in detail even after signing paperwork to make sure I was aware of all of the features the vehicle had to offer.
I’m 36 and as of tonight, I have my first ever vehicle note. I now have a 2017 Chevy Silverado thanks to Mr. Charles Miller. I was helped by Charlie and Jess, both were very helpful and knowledgeable. Charlie helped me set my apple car play, went over all the details about the car I was purchasing, Jess handled the paperwork and was great at explaining the warranties and very friendly and efficient. Both were really awesome, I’d definitely buy another car from them.
My husband and I are in the process of trying to trade in our truck for a smaller and more economical vehicle. Upon taking the truck in to be appraised for trade in value, one of the managers took the truck out for a test drive. Before the manager drove the vehicle there were not issues with any of our door handles. We thoroughly assessed and took note of any and every thing that would decrease value as to be prepared. However, when my husband went to leave the lot, he noticed the interior driver’s door handle was broken to the point that he couldn’t open his door from the inside. The response that my husband received when he reported this issue was very poor. The manager denied there was anything that occurred at all let alone his responsibility in having broken the handle. I know accidents happen, but I am disheartened at the response from this dealership. There was no attempt to reconcile the situation outside of someone saying they would review security footage. I appreciate they took the time, but logically, because this damage was done INSIDE of the vehicle, it is doubtful any ‘proof’ would have turned up on security footage. It felt like they thought we were trying to frame them! Far from the truth, and saddening. We simply went to get a trade in value and left with damage to our vehicle for which we have to cover repair costs. I am highly disappointed and won’t be returning to this establishment that treated us and our vehicle roughly. Ouch.

Giles was fine. However, I never plan to own another Nissan. So far, I have had to have the battery replaced 3 times, purchased new tires, and, now, have had the entire engine replaced. My Armada is a 2018 and has been driven 43,000 miles. No vehicle should have to have this amount of repair in such a short time, with only a few miles driven.
I had the wonderful opportunity to have met both Mr. Willie Lazare and Mr. Aubrey Warren. Mr. Warren presented as very knowledgeable personable and professional. While busy he remained very patient and carefully addressed all my concerns. I look forward to working with him in the future to meet my truck buying needs.!

This is the fifth Nissan that we have purchased from Giles whether new or used. My kids have driven Nissans and so have my wife and I. I believe the quality is very high but the service that we have received from Giles itself was worth the money. Our original pathfinder is eight years old with no mechanical issues and we’re hoping to get the same out of this to 2022 Pathfinder that we just purchased from Giles.
Jess was GREAT! She did everything she said she would and sold us the vehicle we wanted the same day! She also showed us how to set and use the Apps and how to use the portal to go back and refresh if necessary. We also came back a second and she helped us with learning things we did not pickup the first time Great Salesperson!

I visited the “Express” portion of the Giles Nissan Dealership of Lafayette, Louisiana on March 26, 2021 during the 10 o’clock hour. My service here was top notch from the beginning to the end. The 3 or 4 gentlemen that worked on my car to provide the services of an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection were professional and prompt. There was no inappropriate language, which I can appreciate, as I sat in my vehicle while all services were provided. To top it off, I received a vehicle inspection video, created in real time and I watched it before leaving the facility—this system is IMPRESSIVE! Thank you all for phenomenal service!

The people are very nice. The only thing I didn’t agree was that the diagnosis charge. I already knew that the door handle was broken, however they charged me $90 just to tell me that the door handle needs to be replaced! I don’t think that was fair. The service was fast and people are very polite, the lobby is vey comfortable too!

The express service area is very easy to get I and out of. They gave me an accurate wait time estimate which I really appreciate.
Very friendly staff and knowledgeable service dept. personnel. They do excellent work and will always try and work with you on fixing what needs to be fixed versus what can wait. They also honor and help their customers get warranty claims pushed through on extended warranties.

My wife and I were able to find a Volvo xc40 at Giles for a very reasonable price. We were treated very well by everyone at Giles Volvo. Heath Campbell was our salesman and was a joy to work with. I normally hate the car buying experience, but this was the best experience I’ve ever had at any dealership. Tyler was the man!!! I wish every salesman was like him. He was not pushy, no greasy salesman act and calmly moved us through the process. I would buy a car from Tyler any day. Finance guy was a little pushy but my wife took care of that. If Tyler representatives the dealership, then it’s an A Plus.

I called as soon as the business opened. I was told the vehicle was available and said I wanted to purchase it. They gathered all my information and said they were working on it throughout the whole day. At the end of the day they told me the president promised it to a friend of his. Meanwhile they ran my credit and everything. Terrible experience.As follow up...about 30 minutes after the dealership responded to my review, I did exactly as directed and called the number provided. I was transferred to the sales managers voicemail. I left a voicemail and have never been called back. Once again a negative experience. So, if you are reading the reviews, dont think that they are actually resolving the negative reviews.
My first Volvo I didn’t even purchase from Giles. I tried but they just weren’t able to get the car I wanted at the time. Everyone in the service department was very helpful and accommodating for the 2 1/2 years I brought my XC40 to Giles to have it serviced there, even though I didn’t purchase it at their dealership. I knew my next purchase was going to be from Giles, and it was. A new XC60. Salesmen are friendly and helpful as well. Thank you for always taking care of me and here’s to many years to come.🥂

Mike was amazing we went in to buy a used vehicle and he found a way to get us into a brand new vehicle with a note that was not much more than what the used one would have been! They even got the vehicle brought in from a sister dealership all in the same day!

Im going to be honest, they are lucky I even give them a 2 star. I got my 2013 Chevy Equinox from this company July 2020. Was told it had a 5 point inspection done on it, or whatever it is called. GREAT! Test drove it around the lot and it was PERFECT. Great for my family. Take it home, the next day the suv would NOT start, so I had it jump started and brought it back to Giles. They tested it and found out it had a bad battery, No big deal, just switch it out. Well they didnt have a replacement, so I had to wait. After 3 hours I had to get to work, instead of putting me in a rental while they waited on the battery, I had to PAY for their rental. Fine a little more than 100 dollars lost and a few hours at work. Get the suv back the next day, and everything is ok, except for the 2 recalls I get on it (one according to the letter was a recall from almost 2 years ago). I got those fixed. Well lets fast forward 7 months. Thursday (3/4/21 7:15 AM) my car sputters at a red light and wont move! Get it over to the side of the road, and notice a TON of transmission fluid all over the ground. I called Giles, and was told to have it pulled to the service center there. I did that using my roadside assistance program. At 4:20 they call me and tell me they cant fix it and I need to have it towed to a GMC certified service center. Which I did 120 dollars to have it towed. Well Service Chervolet just called, the connector that holds my transmission line on WASNT EVEN THE CORRECT CONNECTOR! IT WAS RIGGED ON THERE. They replaced it and put the proper connector, and refilled my transmission fluid, now the car is running again, but another 300 dollars out my pocket ON A CAR THAT SUPPOSEDLY HAD A 5 POINT INSPECTION, AND THAT IVE HAD LESS THAN A YEAR.. had to be in a shop 3 different times in a year.. hmmm.. I would NEVER go back here for a vehicle or send anyone there either!

Husband brought in his car. Was told it needed a 40pt inspection for $119. He asked if it included the oil change which he was initially going in for. He was advised it did. I know this because I was on the phone with him listening to his questions answered. When the service was completed he was given a bill of over $200. He questioned it & they “knocked” $20 off. This is absolutely terrible for you to mislead very loyal customers like this.

Normally my experience with Giles is awesome I’ve purchased a car a few years ago and everything was perfect however this current experience was awful the sales rep was rude and I did t appreciate her telling my 2010 nissian murrano was only worth 50 Dollars and didn’t know the the price of the used car she was trying to sale me . Jess was the saleswoman very unprofessional.

Really great experience! We had been looking online trying to decide to buy used or new and then what brand of SUV that we really wanted. I had gone and tried out a few others but kept coming back to the Muranos. We went to just look in person. We were not tackled in the parking lot and forced to buy. Chris and his team were great at showing all the features and helping compare the different models. With the rebates and already great prices we bought a 2021 Murano. When we picked it up again they were great at going over every inch with us showing any features we had questions about and making sure everything was up to par. I would and have recommended them!!

Sold us a vehicle with a big yellow “lifetime warranty” tag on it while the warranty actually expires at 100k miles (false advertising at its best) and covers next to nothing during the active warranty period. We had engine trouble with the vehicle within the first 3 months, they wanted us to pay up front to diagnose and repair “in case warranty did not cover it”. After going into further discussion, we were told they cannot even work on the vehicle they sold us, and we would have to go to Audi and pay to have the vehicle repaired with them. We will never buy from this dealership again.Edit: To add to this, a manager at Giles reached out to my wife almost instantly after this review was posted. (How convenient that they knew exactly who we were despite me not having my name posted publicly) She was told that is not how we should have been treated, and was asked for information about the sale and told that she would be called back with a remedy. Here we are, months later, no call back and still driving a car that is stumbling in cold weather. I guess it’s time to file a complaint and fix the vehicle out of our pocket. To make all of this worse, my wife was 7 months pregnant when we bought this car. The staff and the salesman knew we needed something reliable and secure. We traded in a smaller vehicle that was in near perfect condition and only had 23,000 miles. These people knowingly put a pregnant mother with 2 children in a problematic vehicle with a fraudulent warranty policy!! This company is awful and has no sense of morals. I’ve attached the screenshot of the vehicle with purchased. If you see a big yellow “lifetime warranty” decal on any of their cars, run for your life. It is not lifetime by any means and even if it was the company will not honor it.

Do not deal with this dealership. My daughter went here to have tow breaks put on her Nissan Truck. They sold her the part for $600 then told her that it would not fit her truck and will not refund the money for the part. Very Poor customer Service! If I could give them a negative I would. I love Giles Nissan. I have bought 3 vehicles from them in the past 10 months, because they have made it so easy to do so. First we got the truck for my husband. Daniel, our salesman, worked on that deal, to find the right vehicle, price, and financing. I appreciated him so much, I went back and traded in my car for a new Murano with him, and he really had to work hard to find me a vehicle. I wanted something specific, in a specific color, and they really came through for me after hunting it down. They worked with me on financing and got me the right deal. I was so happy with them and Daniel that I brought my son immediately over and traded in HIS car for a new one with them. Tommy helped us with that, and found him a great car that my son loves. I have had horrible experiences in the past with other dealerships, so I am happy to say that this dealership is different. The people are friendly, they listen, they really try to work with you. I really appreciate them and a big thank you to Daniel and Tommy especially for all the help. I have pestered them unmercifully, and not only have they put up with it, it doesnt seem to bother them at all. Theyre always happy to help. Thanks, guys, and thank you Giles!
Would not do my inspection sticker because my registration expired yesterday. I was never mailed a letter or anything letting me know it was expiring.
The salesman (Luke Boswell) met us in the parking lot when we arrived. He was friendly, engaging and asked a lot of helpful questions to assist us in narrowing down our selection. During the test drives, he proved to be a knowledgable source of information about the car features. Throughout the process, he was intentionally helpful without being pushy. He was also patient and sensitive to our needs as he guided through the purchase process.
