They did an excellent job with my car. driving it away i noticed a much better and much needed improvement in handling and steering with the alignment and replaced parts. the staff was kind and easy to get along with. My only complaint would be when i got my quote for how much everything would be i asked the worker what my total cost would be for everything to get done and he told me the number but didn’t inform me the number he gave me didn’t include labor which is what i was asking. So i wasn’t prepared for the cost i had to pay considering i could’ve done the part replacements myself. At the very least they did a great job and i’m happy my car is handling better. hopefully in the future they can give a little bit of a better answer when anyone asks what the total price will be. I still recommend the place for quality! just check into the numbers more than i did. :)

I has a very pleasant experience at Star Tire. The appointment was very easy to set up, and they changed my tires within 30 minutes. There’s a Starbucks nearby so I got a coffee while they changed my tires. Would recommend them for the good service and competitive prices!

Went in to get a quote for new tires and an alignment. John at the counter was very helpful and made me feel like my business is welcome. I have been other places that just seem like they cant be bothered to help you. After receiving the quote I asked to schedule an appointment thinking it would probably be next week since it is the day before thanksgiving and they were pretty busy. They were able to fit me in that day and have my car good to go an hour later. Will definitely be returning here for future car needs.

An auto shop you can trust. I have taken my cars here and have always been happy with the quality, speed of service, and politeness. But my top reason is trustworthiness. The manager has been my mechanic for over 20 years and I trust him to tell me the truth and not take advantage of the fact that I dont know anything about cars. They do a great job of communicating when they find the problem and when the job is complete. It is the only place I will take my cars because of the trust and the quality of service I receive.

My Good Sam Road Assistance sent Star Tire to replace a flat tire I had just 4 miles north of Lafayette on I-65 South. They arrived in 45 minutes and after another 30 minutes to replace the flat with my spare I was back on my way to Prophetstown State Park just outside of Lafayette.I asked them to take the blown tire and wheel with them and put a new tire on. Made an appointment two days later to replace the mounted spare with the new tire and put the spare back under the RV where it is stored.When I got my bill, they charged me for the new tire and a few misc small items (tire disposal fee and shop supplies) but did the mounting, balancing, installing, and replacement of the spare to its storage rack at no additional charge.Extremely fair pricing.Very friendly staff.Very knowledgeable about tires.No attempt to sell me an expensive tire I did not require.Fast service.Great and satisfying experience.I left happy!What more can I say?

Very friendly and very thorough. I have all my tire and brake work done here. Only complaint is they source parts from Napa, and the markup is painful. Recent set of ceramic brake pads were invoiced for $80, when the equal quality pads from Advance Auto were $48. I would do MUCH more preventative maintenance if the parts were not so prohibitively expensive. All work is top notch though, so the labor charges are well earned.

Quick service but overpriced. The price of the calipher, pads and fluids are the question versus Autozone and Napa store prices. Labor cost was good. I realize that most places put a 30 percent mark up on parts to better explain. Labor was not the question.

When the other shops failed me... Star tires® took my problem by the horns and completed it right then and there! Took them some tires that I needed work done to and I knew it was late and didnt expect them to get to them.... Worst service ever. Took my car and truck there and they broke the key to my locking lug nut, the wheel weights feel off in less than 100 miles, I had a bent rim that they didnt tell me about. They also tightened the lugs in my truck so tight the dealer had to cut the studs off and replace them.

WARNING FAULTY SHOP, If I could give zero stars I would. My girlfriend needed a simple front end alignment, with a $30 coupon not a bad deal. It is a bad deal its just a gimmick to get you to the shop and lie to your face about what needs replaced before they can do a proper alignment. When asked to see said failed parts they will deny you access to see your car in the shop. Any shop that tells you that has horroble customer service and is 9/10 lieing just to make money off you. Just like they quoted a ridiculously high price just for the tie rod part. As calling around at the same time I found it to be drastically cheaper. Also claimed that the previous work I did was wrong and incomplete. I have more knowledge than any of them there think I do. Im not an idiot I could disassemble and reassemble an entire vehicle no issues. They also claimed there was a bolt they couldnt break loose sorry but if you can get a rusty bolt loose with some pb blaster and a torch then you shouldnt be under a vehicle. Ill be glad when this place closes up shop from all the stealing they do from unknowledgable people who dont know much if anything about vehicles. Also just got a chance to jack the vehicle up myself, remember they wouldnt let me see the vehicle, the said rusted bolt that wont break loose was loose I moved it with extreme ease. And im going back tomorrow super heated because the tie rod rusted bolt was tampered with. They set her up to get into a severe car accident because the backed the jamb nut all the way out.....wont break loose my ass. EVERYONE PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING!!!!
