Scammers. Came out once, took dishwasher info and said they would try to see if they could get the replacement part from LG. Charged me $75 basically just to drive out and ultimately doing nothing. Never called back, and dont answer my calls. Avoid.

Absolutely horrible company, please stay away and avoid at all costs. Told Whirlpool they repaired our dishwasher while doing absolutely nothing and accused us of putting dish soap into the unit instead of tablets. Will not help you, will not follow up, will provide poor customer service, will ruin your day.

Was referred to this company by Samsung for a repair that was under warranty. They were quick about coming out and getting the initial diagnosis done, but then nothing. We were told that they needed to order a part to fix our unit. That was 3 months ago. I had to call everyday for almost a month straight to get someone to answer. I was told again that they were waiting on the part to come in to fix it. I asked if they had an estimated time on when they would get get part and he said no. Ive never heard back after that. This is completely unacceptable. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have an extended warranty on my dishwasher and filed a claim for the door. Home Depot made the claim and gave it to appliance specialists. Once the claim is filed the repair service has to accept it within 24 hours. The appointment was slated for today between 8:00 and 4:00. I left a message this morning requesting an idea of the arrival time. At 2:00 today he called to let me know (lie #1) they they only received the request over the weekend. (Claim was filed Wednesday and accepted by them by Thursday) (lie#2) he claimed he called my phone yesterday. I have zero calls from them. Nice to have call history proving the lie. I refused to schedule another appointment since he was unapologetic for having wasted 6 hours of my day today. He said his schedule was full for today and wouldn’t have availability for two more days. I contacted Home Depot letting them know of his lies and my wasted time. A different company will be coming out to service my machine. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I would think during these times a small business man would care a little more about his reputation in this town. I will be contacting Home Depot again after reading reviews to make sure he doesn’t file a completed claim for my machine as it appears that is also his practice, filing false claims of job completion!

UPDATE:Since they were unable to help me, they were willing to refund my service call. I appreciated their willingness to try and make it right.Was referred to this place by LG to work on my refrigerator that was not cooling enough. He got there right on time, but spent only 5 minutes looking around the appliance and told me there was a refrigerant leak, but he couldnt find it, so the leak had to be in the inaccessible sidewalls. It was therefore not repairable, and I needed to just buy a new one, and then socked me for $110. I called them back to have them contact LG to confirm the non-functionality of the appliance, and they said they would follow up. However, two and a half weeks alter, I have heard nothing from them.I called LG, and then sent Sears Home Warranty out, who diagnosed the leak in the back of the appliance, got parts ordered, and got it completely fixed a week later.LAZY WORK. Made about zero effort and misdiagnosed the problem. Youre an Appliance Specialist- how can you not figure out the problem? Especially when the next company diagnosed it instantly.

I am one who normally likes to comment when I get great customer service. It hurts me whenever I have to give a comment when customer service is horrible. Unfortunately the customer service at Appliance Specialist, specifically the office managers performance, was exceptionally poor. My first contact with them was when they were referred to me by my home warranty company and I was told to call them if I did not hear anything in 24 hours. I called and called and called but there was no answer on the phone, and no return calls. I finally had to go to the store and ask what was going on. The owner, who is the technician, came out to the house eventually, and represented the company well. When I received the results from the home warranty company I called the company back and they did not answer. I called again, leaving a second message, and they did not call me back. I called a third time, and you know the story. Nothing!. So I went in to the store once again, a little hot under the collar to say the least, was told theres something wrong with the phones. Yet they did not call me to find out what was going on. In over a week and a half. The only thing I could say, is this is the worst customer service I have received in a long time. If I could give something less than one star, thats what this office manager would deserve. I give the owner five stars, but unfortunately hes represented by a less than one star office mis-manager.

Place is a joke. Dont even deserve 1 star to be honest. They were hired by LG to fix my washing machine. Took them a week to come out to look at it. I was told it would only take a few days to get the part in for it. 3 weeks later and nothing. LG said this place never even ordered the part. Absolutely the worst customer service. I wouldnt let this place fix a bowl of cereal. Avoid at all costs

I have used Appliance Specialists for years, for HE washing machine repair, refrigerator, and dishwasher service. I have always been pleased with their service and found our technician to be very knowledgeable.

If I could put zero stars I would! This place is horrible, dishonest and shady! We had a service man come out to look at our washer over a month ago. It is under warranty and the manufacturer sent them out. The serviceman looked at the washer for 10 minutes (at the most) said he wasnt sure what was going on and would research it and get back to us. He said he would call us back in a couple days. Its been over a month and still nothing! Ive called twice, left messages and still havent heard back from them. Avoid this company at all costs!!!! I am so disappointed with them!!!

Had them out for our new fridge in May. Technician told us the part would probably be a month to get, if he could even get it. A few weeks went by and no word. We called at least 7 times and left voicemails. Not one return call. This is the only company is our area that is certified to handle warranty work for our brand refrigerator.To. This. Day. No return call. It has been 3 months!Edit: Called Whirlpool Corporate to get another company to service our fridge (that is still not functioning), and found that Appliance Specialists filed the claim and was paid for fixing our fridge! SCAMMERS!Filed a complaint with Whirlpool corporate.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! This company has truly earned their 1 star reputation. They will not work with your schedule; after taking a day off to meet the repairman (who was nice) the washing machine is still not fixed, no improvement at all. I called back to report this and was not offered an apology. When the dispatcher called to reschedule and I attempted to explain the hours that we are available he interrupted and became defensive. there are other appliance repair companies in Lafayette, I highly recommend you do not use this one.

Arrived for warranty work contracted by Whirlpool. Had to assist in troubleshooting and after the repair became more difficult than the original work order the tech never returned or answered phone calls.

I called Maytag for repair on brand new fridge in May. I am still waiting on this place to bring the part & fix it. Late Aug. I was told it would be repaired mid Sept! I just called about the part & to set an appt. to have it fixed & no answer! Seems Im another of several unhappy customers! I reported this business to Maytag. Not worth 1 star; DO NOT USE THEM!

Worst customer service. Tech came out to the house to look at my washer. He said hed order the part & be back to fix it. Its been over 3 weeks.. no part has been ordered & now LG cant get a hold of anyone at the store. Why take business if you dont care to work? Dont use this company - there are others out there who are willing to help.

Had factory warranty work done on a brand new range. Warranty said parts and labor were covered. Technician came out and instantly said it would be a service charge. Then performed most of the job and said he couldnt finish and had to get more parts. Said that another trip was needed to finish the job. Bill for first visit was almost $300. Mind you that this call was paid for by Whirlpool for a factory issue. This company gets paid from both the factory and the consumer. Company is a ripoff and shouldnt be in business.

Came to look at dryer I had for one month. Bought at Lowes with warranty. Said would order part. Was here 5 minutes Two months later still waiting. Whirpool can not get them to answer phone. Terrible service. Did not give me anything about part number etc. zero stars

I have a warranty from Lowes for my washing machine that needed repairs. Apparently Appliance Specialist contracts with Lowes for their warranty work. I had no problem scheduling an initial appointment to have their technicians come out and look at the washing machine. They were here on December 20th. It took about 10 minutes for them to determine the gears needed to be replaced. They said they would need to order parts and would call back with a time to come do the repair the following week. As that following week was between Christmas and New Years, I wasnt surprised that I didnt hear from them. Towards the end of the next week, I called to check up on the status. The receptionist reported that the service request was closed because there was no further action needed on their part. And that they could not even send the technicians back out because the call was resolved. I had to call Lowes back and request ANOTHER appointment! When I requested to speak to the actual technician who was here, I was told that wasnt possible. I informed them that they were wasting my time and that I would certainly request Lowes use a different company for the repair this time. I did follow up with Lowes, they are using a different company this time and I was sure to express my displeasure with Appliance Specialists to them.

They came to my place once, to check on my brand new refrigerator. And the two men who came were quite rude and seemed sexest when I tried to ask things about it.Its now a year later and my freezer is at 10° and things have thawed. Therect has been a date set for the 28!! And I was told that they would call me first thing Monday (today 11/20/2017) but I went ahead and called yesterday and foubd that they werent open on Sundays, so I left a message thinking I would hear from them today. Well morning came and went, nothing. So I called them and there was no answer, so I left another message, but still no return phone call.From what Ive already experienced and by reading the reviews, its quite a shame that were forced to leave one star which isnt deserved.Ill be seeking for another repairman.

We have a washing machine purchased from Lowes and AS is contracted out for repairs. When we called Lowes to report the malfunction Lowes scheduled the service appointment through AS. It took two days for AS to call for confirmation of scheduled appointment (which they needed to reschedule) yet never left a message informing us as such. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional. In the multiple times we have used them we found the service time to be very long, communication to be poor, and quality to be below average.

Been dealing with this business for 2 months. Would never recomend to anyone. Had to deal with them because of whirlpool warranty. They have done nothing but give me the run around and to top it off argued with me in my house, I kicked the gentleman out and will never do business with them again.

Have the extended warranty through Lowes on a dishwasher. Repair guy looked at it for four minutes, then four weeks later they finally come back with the parts. For being a business based on customer service they suck at it.
