My furnace motor gave out, so AC froze up. Tim Martinez came out the same day and got it going. He was fabulous, went far beyond expectations. This was a huge job because the motor was installed in such a way that it was almost impossible to get out but he did it! He didn’t leave until it was fixed and he had to troubleshoot a lot to do it. I will always use this company, Thanks Tim!Update: A new air conditioner and furnace were installed this week by JL Anderson. I could not be more pleased. I was surprised what a difference it made. The guys who installed were great, explained everything well. Good to have things working properly and to find a trustworthy company. I highly recommend.

I am pregnant and was unable to even sleep in my own home due to it being 86 degrees i kept waking up drenched in sweat. my landlord called these guys around 11 or 12 and they came and had it repaired by 2pm. Jeremy was very professional and so fast! took him less than 10 min it seemed like! I am so thrilled to be able to sit in my home again!!

I was recommended to use JL Anderson by my sister and am glad I did! After another company determined that my AC and Furnace werent working due to a dying blower, and it would be better to just replace the furnace at least (and later the AC because it was also old and on its way out), I reached out to a few companies to come do an estimate on a replacement furnace and AC.JL Andersons price wasnt the cheapest option I was given, but it was the best value and had the best financing options available. Jacob, who provided me with a free estimate and came back a few days after the installation to check in with me and answer any questions I had, was very personable and professional. In addition to replacing the AC and furnace with top-quality appliances, they were able to move my 2 filters at the top of a 10 ft wall to the top of the furnace, which is easily accessible and is a better filter (they also provide one extra filter); provide a programmable, WiFi enabled, app controlled thermostat; and install a free plasma air purifier.This was accomplished over the course of 2 days. I was home the entire time as I work remotely and everything went smoothly. The technicians and I were all able to work with limited interruptions. They had to make some custom metalwork to properly fit in my new furnace and also wrapped it up in insulation to better protect it. The technicians (Ryan, Dusty, and one other technician whose name escapes me) were very friendly and professional, and walked me through what they did for the furnace and AC, how to change the new filter, and basic operations of the new thermostat. My furnace is located in my attached garage, and they even swept the floor of the garage after they were done to be sure they didnt leave any screws behind. I know my garage floor was very dusty and dirty, so this was even more appreciated since I had been unable to sweep up the floor before they arrived. They even installed a screw in the furnace so I could hook my garage screen door to it to hold it open, like the previous furnace had also done.Another thing I highly appreciate is the text messages and emails they send out when their employees are on their way. Both include the names and pictures of employee, so you know when theyll be there and what they should look like- something very important for safety reasons.I am very happy with my new furnace, AC and everything else that comes with them. JL Anderson is a fantastic company to work with, and I am so happy I went with them!

5 stars is simply not enough for this company.We went away for two nights, and came home to a destroyed house -- all three floors were flooded from a cracked toilet on the top floor. Our air ducts filled with water and literally fell out of the ceiling. Our house was over 100* with all of the water mitigation equipment running 24/7 for 4 weeks.I called 3 different HVAC companies for estimates. JL Anderson came out the same day as my call (and other companies were making me wait over 2 weeks for an estimate!). Their customer service is AMAZING all around, from the people who answer the calls and text messages, to the actual technicians who come out.I was lucky to have Kirt Bunch come out two times to give a complete estimate (once right away, and another after all of the flooded drywall was removed). While he was there for an estimate, Kirt adjusted several things for me to try and keep the house as cool as possible until they could come out and redo all of the duct work.Fast forward to 1 month after the initial flood -- and our HVAC and duct work was repaired in one day! Nothing else in the house is even close to being fixed, but thanks to JL Anderson and their amazing crew, our house will stay cool all summer during repairs.THANK YOU to JL Anderson and Kirt Bunch -- you guys made a horrible situation a little better for us.

We have a Geothermal unit “Waterfurance Brand” closed loop. Brent From Anderson’s is incredibly knowledgeable. He explains what’s he doing and why he is doing it. I would highly recommend Brent for any Geothermal unit. Anderson’s Heating and Cooling has been great to work with. This the second time in 3 years he’s been out and we have been extremely happy both times. The only way it’s get better is if they did it for free.

JL Anderson did a great job on our new HVAC system. Ryan and Jonny were professional, kept us advised on how long things were going to take. They left our furnace room clean. They also had the best overall price for the new system.

The Anderson team are always professional and provide great service and timely. The spring service was very thorough and yet performed in a very reasonable time. A faulty outside temperature sensor and a firmware update design flaw were both solved and discussed upon completion. Great work and safely performed !

I called them up for a small residential A/C repair and they were able to make it out about in just 4 hours. They not only replaced the part, but did a quick check of the rest of the system to make sure things were in working order. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. The only drawback is it was quite pricey for a simple repair. I can definitely recommend them if you want quick service.

After previously being told that our whole unit needed to be replaced, Joe from Anderson Heating and Cooling came out and gave us an easy and far cheaper solution. I called JL first thing in the morning after waking up to a cold house after my furnace went out. They said they would be able to get someone out sometime...probably in the afternoon, and received a text to confirm my appt. between the hours of 8am and 5pm. I immediately called a competitor who was willing to reschedule a service call to address my loss of heat in the middle of winter. I received a call from JL saying they were ready to head my way just as the other technician had finished. JL lost my service and lost my word of mouth.

Anderson heating and cooling has been providing service to my home for six years. The folks they send out (usually Nick) are knowledgeable and thorough, prompt and quick, and nice to deal with. Their prices are reasonable and on one occasion when I needed an emergency call, they quickly came out and fixed the issue. I strongly recommend them without any reservations.

Before the Covid shutdown we had Anderson come out and give us an estimate. Last week after things started to open up I contacted them and they had an opening for Thursday. They were prompt on getting here and the installation went very well. The unit runs quietly and is more efficientthan our old unit. Pricing was in line as well. I would recommend them for all my heating and air purchases.

Scheduling a visit was easy and all the employees we worked with were very friendly and helpful.I asked several questions and had fairly specific outcome sin mind. Even when I thought I was being a bit of a pain they were accommodating, patient and helpful. They understand that replacing furnaces and A/Cs are expenses that cant just be jumped into. They offered several different solutions and provided info that helped us get to our final decision. I didnt feel any pressure buy more than we needed or the high-end equipment. In the end we got a system that was the right size for our needs.On installation day, the employees were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to complete all the work much faster than I anticipated and well ahead of their own schedule. This was done while still doing an excellent job of installing everything.Weve been using the equipment for over a week without any issues and it is working much better than the old stuff did.

Technician Bo was amazing at not only diagnosing the issue, but also was friendly, courteous, responsive to answering questions about the issue with the A/C unit.Then he fixed the issue on the spot and made sure everything was working without immediately recommending to replace the unit. Which especially in todays world of covid-19, I greatly appreciate him trying to fix it rather than just replace. And speaking covid-19 he also kept his distance and also wore a mask.

Tim was knowledgeable and very thorough. He answered several questions I had about sensors, automation, and filters. He also encouraged me to change the batteries in the thermostat annually or so to avoid corrosion damage. I have used JL Anderson several times on my heating and A/C units. I called to ask if they service water heaters. She said absolutely and scheduled Mike Cox to come out to service it. We recently had our very out dated all electric furnace and a/c unit replaced. We had contacted A few companies before choosing JL Anderson Heating And Cooling. They were not the cheapest, but Joe did such a awesome job with our quote, that we had to go with them. He answered questions we didnt know we had. He pointed out tons of helpful ideas and one of which was moving our a/c unit from the back yard, to the side yard. Im so happy we did!We had gas put in and they did all the work required for that. It was a two day process and went very smoothly. The two workers that we had, did a great job. They layed protective coverings over the carpet to and from thr furnace. They worked smooth steadily, and left no mess at all. Its been a couple weeks, and we love our new units. The updated thermosate is awesome too! We are very pleased with the work they did and would not hessitate to recommend them to all our friends and family.

We had a couple of companies come out to give estimates on a furnace/AC/water heater/humidifier replacement - pretty much the whole thing! JL Andersons rep, Joe, was very professional, took his time to make lots of suggestions, and told us honestly where we could get the most bang for our buck, even talking us out of other expensive upgrades the others suggested, since it would be easy to add on later if we decided we really wanted it (but its been about a month now and we really dont feel like we even needed it). We got the price estimate that day (while the other company took about a week to get back to us). After hearing the estimate, we decided to go with JL Anderson, but I got the feeling that we were welcome to wait and think it over if we chose. It was absolutely zero pressure.We ultimately went with JL Anderson because we felt we were getting a lot more for a better price. The work itself was very well done. Even though there was some rather extensive work (running new duct-work, relocating the AC condenser, etc) they cleaned everything up and made it look like it was always set up this way. I really appreciated Joe coming back out to do the final walk-through to make sure we were happy with everything. There was one small issue, something to do with a metal part vibrating, which was promptly remedied.Overall, I feel that JL Anderson was the best company for the job. The price was right and the workmanship outstanding. We will definitely use this company again.

This is my second time calling them for a problem of mine. They are reasonably priced and do a great job every time. Give them a call for your needs! Very responsive and professional.

Called because the A/C was no longer putting out cold air. Richard was able to come the next day, and was able to determine that we were quite low on refrigerant. This was most likely due to leaks around caps on the unit that were loose. Hopefully that will fix it, but they will check again, as we got set up on the yearly maintenance plan which also saved on cost for this service. JL Anderson also installed the system 6 years ago, and working with them has always been a great experience.

The technician was at least 45 minutes late for the appointment. No phone call to let me know!! This is very uncharicturist of Andersin H&C. He was very apologetic about it. I have in the past done a lot of business with them and will probably continue to work with them. They have a very good reputation.

Anderson replaced our old HVAC system with an entirely new system. We had a great experience with everyone from Anderson, and the new system is fantastic! Kirt really listened to us describe our HVAC needs, and then helped us design a new system that was right for us. The gentlemen who installed the system did a fantastic job removing the old system and installing the new one. They fit, installed, and sealed the new system into place perfectly, and it operates quietly and efficiently. They were punctual and very professional. We have been a customer for many years and the customer service and technician workmanship is excellent. We recently had both a new furnace and air condition systems installed. Our old air conditioner was in the front of the house and they moved the new system to the back of our house. They did an excellent job, this company and employees are A+++. We are very satisfied with the cost, installation, and workmanship. We highly recommend this company and Trane equipment.

Anderson has been doing my furnace and AC service for several years and I always appreciate their honesty and friendliness. I just had to put in a new auxiliary furnace. They didnt push the biggest and best but what would work best and most economical for my situation. Again, honest, easy to work with, and dont leave a mess. Good company to work with!

The day we discovered our AC wasn’t working, we called JL Anderson. They arrived that same day within a few hours after making the call, and they conducted a thorough inspection. After deciding to go with a whole new system, we met with Jacob to discuss our options. Being new homeowners, we had no idea what to expect. Jacob was very helpful and explained all of our options. We were very impressed with the customer service we experienced and how quickly they completed the task. From two people who know very little about the HVAC systems, we appreciated all of the employees we encountered. All of our questions were answered without judgment. Highly recommend in the area! When our A/C unit quit on us a couple of months ago we called JL Anderson, since we had used them in the past. Joe came by, evaluated our A/C needs, including the current duct work and suggested a change to the existing duct work which would make the upstairs much more pleasant. The price for the new A/C unit and the additional duct work was very reasonable. On the day of the install, Joe stopped by along with the crew and went over the days work with us. The work was done impeccably and the place was left in very good condition after the job. Joe stopped by a few days later to ensure that everything was working fine. Our upstairs is so much more comfortable after Joes duct work suggestion!!!! All in all, were very pleased with the work by Joe and the team at JL Anderson.

Anderson does great work and stayed in communication about ordering parts and scheduling work. They also responded quickly to an urgent situation on a holiday weekend.

I do not recommend if you live in Rossville. While the staff was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable they charged us $119 just to come see us. Then, after screwing on a piece of scrap metal (see pic) to fix our issue, they charged us $86 which was the cheapest service code.

Experience was good. Installation was much quicker than I thought it would be. Workers made sure everything was neat and clean - no debris - when they left. The work outside looks great. Good follow up after installation to answer questions and make sure I was satisfied. They were very professional, Im very happy, and would recommend them! Yea, Ive got air!

Great experience from beginning to end. Jacob and the service team were very professional and courteous, attentive to the needs of the house and pets, and added a feature beyond the estimate at no cost. System is amazing and very efficient - and the app to operate it is very helpful (and pretty cool).

I just had my furnace and AC replaced by JL Anderson and they were very thorough and polite. They took the time to show me how to set up the fancy new thermostat and even filled out the energy rebates for us. My old furnace had not been installed properly and they custom fitted some duct work and cleaned up the mess and poor job that the other place left years ago. I really like the way they treat and truly care about their customers.

Furnace went down on one of the coldest days of the year and they had a tech an hour after I called. Less than an hour later and my furnace was running again. Very polite and professional.

AC died. JL Anderson came out the day we called to assess it, and then topped it off with coolant (free of charge), and helped it limp along until they could come out to install the new one. New install was painless, and the guys were very friendly. Answered all of our questions. The house is cool again just in time for summer. Excellent customer service, and they installed a solid system. Well be using JL Anderson again.

The last visit did not fix my problem.Im beginning to think that the hot water heater you installed within this year is a dud. It does not get the water hot enough even though it is turned up to high. My dishes are not getting clean in the dishwasher. And I called because I have to wait over a minute for hot water to come to my kitchen faucet, whereas with the old water heater it was almost instantaneous. I would like this water heater removed and a new one installed. Also, when you installed the present heater, you said the old one was under warranty but still it cost me over $600. I have never understood why.

Mike made a service call to my home, diagnosed the heater problem explained the needs and after the explanation he completed the repairs. He was punctual, polite and very knowledgeable, we will use them again when the time comes.

Always great to work with. Their work is top notch and they take the time to make sure you understand all the details before, during and after an installation. They did an excellent job with a new HVAC a few years ago so I knew they were the right folks to call when I chose to go to a tankless water heater system. Highly recommended!!!!

Truly a wonderful company. There were some hiccups with the repair process, BUT the company handled everything wonderfully. I think it says so much more about a place when they can make a customer happy after something comes up much more than when everything just runs smoothly. A great, reliable place you can trust.

We have used JL Anderson for many years doing our maintenance on our unit. We knew for the last two years we were going to need a new system both air and furnace. Jacob came and gave us a few quotes and guided me in making a good choice for the right system for us. The installation crew were efficient, prompt, and cleaned up their mess at the end of the day. J.L. Anderson did a great job installing our new furnace & A.C. units. They anticipated it would take two days, but were able to finish in only one day. The installers were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, & explained each step of the process. After the work was completed J.L. Anderson kept in touch with us & returned a few days later to be sure everything was OK.

We had an excellent experience with JL Anderson Heating and Cooling. They recently installed a new Trane furnace and A/C system at our home and we were very satisfied with their work. Joe is very customer oriented and clearly explained the different systems available to us, making many suggestions that helped us decide. When they installed the furnace and A/C, the workmanship and demeanor of his crew was professional and courteous. Their experience was evident when they crafted the sheet metal ducting and piping for the furnace. I highly recommend Joe and JL Anderson and will continue to use them in the future.

I am familiar with JL Andersons work, as they have been the ones that service the office building where I work for at least the last ten years. They are always incredibly responsive when there are issues, and they get things resolved in an efficient manner.Beyond that, I will have a hard time justifying using anyone else at home due to a recent interaction I had with them and a competitor. This competitor, while incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, quoted me what seemed to be a very high price for replacement of a part that was still under manufacturers warranty.Knowing the quality of work that Anderson does, I called them for a second opinion. They independently confirmed the initial diagnosis but were able to make the fix while avoiding several hours worth of work for which the competitor was going to bill me.All told, JL Anderson saved me 60% over the competitors reduced service contract pricing. I will be using JL Anderson exclusively going forward, and I will not be looking back.A big thank you to Scott and JD, the tech and service manager with whom I dealt! You guys know how to get and keep loyal customers!

I called for a non-emergency service call to check out my air conditioning. They came out in a couple of days because I wanted first thing in the morning. Everyone was friendly and kept me informed on my appointment. Richard called me to tell me that he was on the way even though I had a first appointment scheduled for the morning. When he got here he was friendly and professional.

Anderson Heating and Cooling came out to do a HVAC evaluation for a new house we were considering purchasing. Jacob Day did a very thorough inspection of the air conditioning and heating systems. He was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. He also gave us information about Andersons service plan and types of humidifiers available. I would definitely use Anderson again and recommend them to others.
