The guys I talked to at Budget Brakes were AWESOME and did a fantastic job working on my front brakes! He turned my rotors and put good quality brake pads on my ride for about $130.00 tax and all! I will definitely go back to that Budget Brakes when I need work done on my brakes again!

Went here to get a quote in my 2016 Honda Accord and was quoted 800 and something dollars. Rusty Wallace Nissan quoted me 275 for front and 275 for the back and I thought that was outrageous apparently I was wrong. This place just wasted 2 hours of my time because they lied prior to me leaving my car with them. Brakes starting out at 89.99 ended up going all the way to 800. Wow nothing budget about this place. I will say that the staff were nice that was the only plus

I was going to get my car serviced until I was told that they dont get paid for customer service and (Forest ) is what I was told his name was is not a people person. Ive never heard any (professional) business say that. Thats not a great mindset to have. I was disgusted by that statement. I decided to go with Ted russell for service. I recommend broadway location before this location. Management needs to remind those guys with their small mindsets without great service your status drops and so does your sales. Especially the one that stated, I will always have a job because everyone needs car work done. Reevaluate your mindset and do better. 😊

I previously had brakes installed at this location for my Acura. I thought I needed new brakes again but after performing the repair they explained that my brakes were still under warranty and didn’t charge me. These guys do excellent work and they are honest. I highly recommend utilizing their services if you need any kind of brake repair or maintenance. Besides the excellent work, they have affordable prices too. Highly recommended.

Friendly and honest review of the car. Went to a competitor and was quoted more. This place was a second opinion. They even showed me what was wrong or not wrong with the car. The other place didnt even bother to show me. The staff were all nice and enjoying their job. Even signing while working. I would definitely recommend this place.

I called before going down there to price rear brakes & rotors for my car. The person on the phone says $89 twice but refuses to tell me the price of rotors without an inspection.I drive down there and go through the inspection. The results are that I need rear pads & rotors. Then they quote me $417. The quote for the brakes is $140, the rest on the rotors.My top frustration here is that I could have saved 2 hours had they just listened to me. The second most frustrating part of this is they completely lied about the price of brakes. The person on the phone could have easily checked before I drove down there but they refused so that they could work some mechanic con artistry while my car is jacked up in the air. The last annoyance is that anyone who has changed brakes knows that replacing rotors requires less labor than grinding them smooth. So that extra charge is just a money grab.Im sure they do fine work but I dont work with people who arent transparent about their prices.

I have employed the services of this establishment 3 times over the past 4 years. I have used them for their advertised services as well as all services I needed for my 2004 Toyota Tacoma I thought would be too expensive for me from my dealer.This provider is as honest and forthright as he can be. If this guy tells you you need something, you can believe him. He will never pad your repairs and his prices a very favorable in my opinion. They have done excellent work on my vehicle from brakes, to alignment, to serious repairs on my suspension. Anything he says he will do, he can do and will do well.

I’ve used Budget brakes for new brakes on 3 of my family cars. Super quality product and professional and friendly employees.Last week we took my mom’s car in for new brakes and rotors. A mechanic at another place told her she needed the whole job done. We only wanted to take it to Budget Brakes. After inspection, the Budget Brake gentleman called and said that she had good brake pads and it just needed to adjust and smoothe out the pads. They could have taken advantage of the situation, but did not.They saved my 86 year old mom lots of money and I could not be more grateful.I highly recommend Budget brakes.Very honest and trustworthy.Thank you

I stopped by Budget Brakes on Kingston Pike in Knoxville thinking my front brakes may need replacing because I have over 84,000 miles on them. They gave me a very reasonable quote and after a 20 minute wait had my car on a lift. After removing all 4 tires to inspect the front and rear brakes I was told I have over 40% pads left on the front end and dont need to have them serviced at this time, the inspection was free, they told me to come back in 6 months for another inspection, and sent me on my way without trying to sell me something I didnt need. I shared my story with others and one friend told me he had the same experience. Its hard to find this kind of honesty and integrity. They have a great team working there and the manager is doing an excellent job promoting this type of ethics and behavior.

This location is professional and friendly. They are very efficient. Although google maps takes you to the back of the building not their fault of course but excellent service.

The tech was honest about my brake situation and let me know I didn’t need to change my brakes. They explained how brake squealing had to do with rust and even recommended when I should change the brakes. They brought me to the back and showed me the size of the pads too.Other shops may tell you to change them anyways to make money. They didn’t even charge for the inspection.

Went in for brakes and my car was making a noise. They not only helped me save money on my brakes because my back pads were fine, but spent a reasonable amount of time and LOTS of TLC making sure my car was safe to drive (axel threading was worn out and rotor was bad). Every step of the way they showed me what they found, and explained it in a way that was helpful and educational, not condescending (like some places have treated me in the past). Everyone eas amazing and my car drives like new now!! Their prices are also Very Reasonable, especially considering their expertise and how great they were! 10/10 recommend and I will be going back yearly for my brakes for sure!

My wife and I pulled into Budget Brakes with front brake pad smoking. This was near closing time on a Saturday. We had never been there before, but was lucky enough to be right there when we noticed the brake smoking. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly, obtained the necessary parts, and repaired the brake. I believe that he worked past the normal closing time. We sure appreciated the friendly, courteous service and will continue to use Budget Brakes for our needs.

Budget Brakes, and Rick specifically, went above and beyond to replace my front wheel bearings and front brakes on my truck. From the time I called to get an estimate until I picked up my truck after repair, I felt like he was honest and I could trust him and his service team. Rick did not tell try to up sell me on things I did not need and I appreciate his honesty when it came to work being done. I left feeling like my money was well spent on the repairs completed. I would definitely recommend Budget Brakes and look forward to going to them in the future.

In returning with my fiancé van they pulled the same stunt. We wanted the 89.99 pads installed, and they pulled the same thing as my truck last time. They said they were out of X part, and now its gonna be 160$ish instead of 89.99 plus taxes and fees. Came here a year ago, and got 89.99 pads installed and with the taxes and fees it was barely over a hundred, now they use terms like labor charges, or were out of x part so its gonna be more. Whats worse is I asked before dropping off the van if everything in stock. Its false advertising as your not getting pads installed for anywhere close to 89.99. In reality its close to double that its either false advertising, or the employees are pocketing the difference 🤔 . I probably shouldnt post this because they still have my and, but Im furious

I went to budget brakes because the Kia dealership told my wife that she needed new brakes and rotors turned, also brake lines flushed. For $650 give or take a little. Upon taking them to budget brakes i was told that my brake fluid was clean and did not need flushing and that my brake pads were at 50% so come back in six months or 20,000 miles.I asked how much did I owe for the inspection, and was politely told YOU OWE NOTHING.I would recommend THIS PLACE to all of my friends and family and anyone looking to have your brakes done.I will return.Thanks for great Customer service.

Ended up not being the cheapest price by quite a bit.

I used Budget Brakes once before for my wifes car, and recently took it back for an alignment. They checked it and the alignment was fine. Turned out to be tires. There was no charge. I took our old Jeep Wrangler in, knowing the alignment was bad. When I went back to pick it up they told me it was a difficult job, having had to heat the tie rods to loosen them enough to realign. Even though there was extra work they still honored the coupon I had brought in. There service was above expectation and they have earned my business and my referral from here on out! Great job, guys! And by the way, the Jeep drove like new. Couldnt believe what a difference they had made!

I never had issues with Budget Brakes in the past, but as an Deaf individual using Relay Service to contact hearing people, they keep hanging up on me. Ive called them before without issues. Filed complaint with FCC.

Brought the van in because it had warped rotors. The rotors were no more than two years old. I was quoted $135.00 over the phone. After bringing the van in, it jumped to $600.00. I was told that the rotors could not be turned. I instructed them to install new rotors if needed but to try to use the old bearings over to save some money. I paid over $500.00 and took the van. I went no further than a mile and noticed that the front was still shaking when I applied the brakes. I called them and was told by the manager that I had instructed them to not replace the rotors. This was untrue. I was told that for my $500.00 they replaced the front pads and a brake line. If I wanted the rotors replaced it would be an additional $250.00. I have been a mechanic for 40 years and know what parts cost. I purchased new rotors from Rock Auto and installed them myself for $99.00. If you want it done right dont take your vehicle to these crooks!

It was good service but I was quoted my front breaks to be $100 after a break pads and the labor. It ended up being $450. I understand their advertising is brake job starting at $89.99 and go up from there, and my certain car needed more expensive parts, but when I called to get a quote they knew what kind of car I had and I feel as though they should have told me right then. I feel like they gave me a good quote over the phone to trick me to come in and THEN tell me I need all these special expensive parts. Disappointing because the people were SO friendly & whoever rang me up could tell I was disappointed because he gave me $20 off, which I appreciate, but it didnt make up for the price difference

They are honest. I have been to other places on 2 different occasions, and been told I had to have new rotors because they would not turn. I came to Budget to get a second opinion both times, and my rotors were fine both times. There aren’t many honest repair shops around anymore, but this is one of them.

I went in to get the front brake pads changed on my xterra. I chose this place because they advertised $89 brake jobs. I called and that was the confirmed price for what I was looking for. Half way through the job I was notified that my right caliper was siezed... I can find that part for 40-65$ online. But knowing I had no other option if I wanted to be out of that shop with my car today, I paid $159 for that caliper. I walked out of that shop paying $345 total.. after my break. Dont get me wrong, they had the whole job done in exactly an hour, and I was spoken to with pleasant, professional attitudes from all of the team members that crossed paths with me... But Im LUCKY that I didnt go in there with exactly $90... I feel gouged.

Got some work done on our Honda Element. Was super happy with work done. Glad to have new front brake pads before the rain started for the week. They quoted us some other things we need done which was awesome. We will be back for sure. Thanks for not draining my bank account in one go. 👍🚙

Had an appointment for noon they didnt get me in until 1:30. They were just checking my brakes. I noticed 2 other customers came back after being serviced and had to be serviced again. Very disappointing didnt get to leave until 3 and when given qoute mu coupon not utilized. Work was not performed here.

They put brake pads on, recommending the rotors be done also, but as I didnt have the money for that at this time they just did the pads....was $100 after they knocked off $10. Meineke would not just do pads saying I must also do rotors and was going to charge me over $400. I appreciate the service and the not trying to force me into a much larger cost at Budget Brakes! I didnt go to budget brakes with a brake problem. I was stranded at the laundry mat next door cause my car wouldnt start, but I asked if they could help me anyway at first they didnt know what they could do. After they closed a guy from Budget brakes came and looked at my car anyway and was able to help me get it started. So though I cant say how their brake service is I can say that this place cares about people and they know their stuff. Very unhappy. Went in for inspection. Minor repair. I have custom rims on my vehicle. Was gave the lug lock key box back. I went on my way to find out that the key wasnt in the box. I returned to see if they still had the key. In which they had 5 other wheel lock keys. Now im out of pocket for the locks to be removed and a new set of locks. I wont be using this service again. As the customer service guy recommended me to go somewhere else to have my lock removed, because they cant.

When I called Budget Brakes I wanted a brake light switch replaced (its on brake pedal). They acted like I didnt know what I was talking about & said they needed to determine what was wrong. I insisted, they agreed to put it on. I left.They phoned me & said they put it on & it didnt fix the problem. They removed it so I wasnt charged for the part.But when I went back to retrieve the car it appeared to me that nothing had been done! Yet I was charged $20+tax.Days later, I had someone else put on a brake light switch. And guess what?! It fixed the problem!I will NEVER go there again! And if I was able to give zero stars, I would! I feel like I was treated like I was some dumb girl who doesnt know what shes talking about. And I paid $20+ to have them turn my car around in the other direction-so that I would think they did something. A total rip off!

My car needed new brakes after their useful life and after some light squeaking etc I decided to bring it to these guys.Everyone at the shop was very friendly, welcomed me at the door and got all the info they needed to begin.After inspecting the brakes they took the time to take me out to the shop area to show me exactly what was going on with the brakes, rotors, etc. They also gave me options on if i wanted to replace just the pads or rotors as well. None of that uh well our company policy says we HAVE to replace your rotors and calipers if we change the pads garbage you get at Midas.Anyway, most people expect to get ripped off on car repairs because of a bad experience or another. Id take my vehicle back to Budget Brakes anytime.

It doesnt what car you bring them. I recently spun out in my Infiniti sedan in the rain, hit a curb and bent the axle. i didnt give dealership a second thought. Instead took the car straight to Budget Breaks. The car is now running better than before for half the repair cost of what Harper Infiniti would have charged. Speaking of Harper Infiniti; they suck.
