This job is indeed a scam. I found them on Indeed and I applied because I was looking for a job. The interview was done on Google Hangouts. But before that I called the number of David Simmons and he actually answered, but that was the last time I heard his actual voice. After that it was only through Google Hangouts that we communicated. When I asked if I would ever see him, since I was his “personal assistant”, he said due to Covid I won’t be able to see him and plus he is ill and won’t be seen. I still have the screenshots of our whole conversation even though he thought he deleted the thread. He said pay would be $1500 bi-weekly for the first month and then jump to $3,000 bi-weekly, just doing the bare minimum and doing research for the best products for his Airbnb rentals. My wife and I did research and we entered up finding the company that owns and rents the properties he claims he own. We drove down to the address in Reunion in Kissimmee and the address for his “office” was just the lobby of the hotel. We asked the front desk if they know this person and they checked their data and David Simmons doesn’t own property on their land nor does he have an office there. We did more research and went to the office building in Sand Lake that was another “office” Location we found and the person on the 3rd floor suite said they never seen them and they rent out the office just for mail and one person comes rarely to pick up mail but is never been seen. The number to David Simmons front desk lady is actually in on the scam and once they realized that my wife was asking too much questions and wanting to speak with David Simmons and they could never get a hold of him, they blocked my wife’s number. Not very customer service of them. They sent us a check through email and claimed they would help me pay for my rent that month because covid have been hard for my wife and I. This is also to state that I never got paid the $1500 that I was supposed to get paid for working those 2 weeks and never set up any direct deposit or W2 paperwork to prove that I was working. Whenever I asked him about it, he would just say “we will cross that bridge when we get there.” The final straw was when the check he sent up to print wasn’t sent in Proper Template and he said we would give us the money if I linked my personal bank account with him in order for him to send me the money because he “really wanted to help us pay rent” that month. I said no because that wasn’t very business professional of him if he doesn’t know me and I don’t know him. I told him to think about what we was asking and said if you’re so called making so much money with your rentals, why would you ever let someone you never even met have access to your business account so that you can send me money? He never spoke to me ever again after that. I guess he realized I wasn’t as stupid and gullible as he thought and I wasn’t that desperate to pay my rent. God ended up helping my wife and I and He made a way for us. But it just is sad that David Simmons and his little clique of scammers are willing to go this far and cash out money on an office space and google pixel just to seem legit. I reported him to the gov but they won’t do anything till more people come up with the same issue. So basically enough people need to be scammed in order for them to do something about it. But I did report him to many of the job sites and they started taking his job listing down and banning him, but there are still some job sites that still allow it. I guess it’s just for money, they get paid when he advertises his fake job listing. But all in all, don’t believe it. Also, one last thing, once David Simmons or whoever is on the other side of Google Hangouts realized that I wasn’t the easy gullible person he needed to scam he posted the job listing for “personal assistant” while I was still so called working as his “personal assistant”. Shameful and pitiful. Don’t fall for this scam. The whole company is a scam and isn’t real.

To anyone thinking of doing business with this company be carful this is a scam they stole $1500 dollars from me!!! They run false job advertisements and scam you into thinking you got a job this is a FAKE COMPANY the owner goes by the name of David Simmons and is a fraud just don’t want anyone going through what I went through!
