We had a great time on a back county trip. Captain George made it a blast! We’ll be back for sure.
This was our 3rd and 4th bookings with George. We always have successful trips and lots of fun. He does a great job catering to what your goal of the trip is. Lots of fantastic memories! His son, Wyatt, was a great asset to our trip! He filleted our fish to perfection!! Cant wait to come back!!
One of the best fishing trips Ive been on. Captain George is the best and knows the fish better than anyone. Caught all the fish we were looking for even a sailfish!
What more can I say that Fantastic?! Capn George is nothing short of a Fish Whisperer, and now I can say I am not a Backcountry Newbie! What a great guide, super-fun personality, and Fish Loving Fanatic! Loved it, caught a gazillion fish, and learned a thing or two about making the quick strike. Thank you thank you thank you, Capn George!! Best 60th birthday present EVER!!
Highly recommend Captain George Clark. My family and I fished with him in September, and it was a banner day of fishing. We caught nearly 40 fish over the course of the day, and George was a great captain and guide. He was great with my 3 kids (12/10/8 years old), and took the time to show all of them a great time.
Captain George was extremely knowledgeable and put us on fish for hours. It was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend him for any fishing excursions.
Awesome experience with Captain George Clark Jr. We have fished with him several times and always find something swimming in the ocean. Great with families and willing to help kids learn the sport.
Captain has been fun! What a neat history. Felt safe as he knows the environment and his equipment. Had a great time the few times Ive been out. If youre passing through, give em a try!
We had an Awesome time with Capt. George. The water was awesome and the fish were HUGE! The only downside was I forgot my sunscreen and got fried but it was worth it.
My family and I had a great trip out with captain George. In our half day of fishing we caught 2 wahoo, 4 black tuna and 3 Amber jack. The crew were helpful and the day was a lot of fun
Just called up the Captain to ask a few questions about a trip next month and he was extremely nice! Hell be my first choice for our groups fishing adventure!
Awesome time!!!! The Captain and crew worked really hard to put us on the fish.
Just had to post this to express our many thanks to Captain George Clark Sr. and his mate for a wonderful experience on the Gotta Mon fishing boatpf Key Largo FLWe caught 15 Black Fin Tunas and 3 Skip Jack Tunas. Ww also hooked 4 beautiful Mahi Mahi (dolphin) fish. We had them cooked 3 different ways at a local restaurant and they were great!!!Myself and my family highly recomend fishing with these guys for a wonderful and rewarding fishing trip with your friends and familyDoris McGeeFort Lauderdale, FL
The trip started off with only 1 of 2 motors starting. Then we were told we had to go catch bait. That wasted 45 mins! Then the entire day was spent bottom fishing (with only the 9 fish we caught for bait). When asked why we were only bottom fishing (at 300 ft depth) and not trolling deeper waters for dolphin and Tuna, Capt George said other captains on the radio were reporting no dolphin or tuna. The first and only fish was caught at approximately 2 oclock. Shortly thereafter, at our last drop, the boat transmission wouldnt come out of gear. So we rode back to the dock at 5 kts. SeaTow towed us from channel head to dock. Capt George said hed only charged us 1/2 day ($750) even though we were out for full day. The worst of it all, The neighboring boat came to the dock with a cooler of Dolphin!Summary, boat ran on one of two motors, we had to catch bait, bottom fished the entire day (even though we wanted tuna & dolphin), caught one fish (thankfully it was a keeper Snapper), the transmission broke, we were towed in by SeaTow, and charged $750.2 stars because George did produce fish on the prior two trips with him. I want to believe this trip was just a fluke, but idk. Hopefully your trip with Capt George and Robert is better. Good luck.
