Good service but extremely pricey $55 just to get medium length acrylics

My nails are way to thick! They made them way shorter then I asked for! Had to point out spots that had no acrylic! Asked for square and they still done round, I said something about and and the lady was like you have to tell us cuz this is how we make our say! They where in a hurry! I have acrylic all over my fingers! I will not be going back!

This nail salon is a little out of my way but definitely worth it. Friendly staff in a comfortable environment, though they do take their time to give the best results so I wouldn’t come in on your lunch break.

Everytime I take my daughter here it takes them 4 hours or more to do her nails. It ends up her having to wait 4 hours and it costs $70 for a full set.

Came in to get my nails taken Off and the man did them super fast. I am very pleased

Great experience. Lisa and Rhonda are great at their profession. Theyll offer beverages and actually take their time doing your nails. Lots of places rush you in and out to the point where you dont dry well, not this place. They didnt hover over us to pay or anything of the typical behaviors I have experienced at nail shops. The staff has conversation with you and were really open and provided great customer service. If youre looking for a nail shop, try here!

Extremely rude. Worst experience EVER!

Waited an hour to get SNS and received very poorly done nails. The man who did my nails barely acknowledge my presence. While doing my nails he pulled my fingers roughly and pushed my fingers down with the SNS container. He was obviously in a rush to get to the next costumer. There are noticeable humps and bumps in the SNS application. My thumb nails are absolutely horrible. I could have done a better job myself. He hit my cuticles multiple times and tore the skin around my fingers. He didn’t even offer to trim any of the extra skin around my nails that he caused with his tool, nor did he offer lotion or cuticle oil. I was very disappointed with my service today and will not be back in the future.

Absolutely horrible the man rushed to do my nails they didn’t simply tell me they couldn’t do the design i wanted they instead tried charging me for it and they refused to buff or put the gel i paid for on my nails after he took the design off that i didn’t want to pay for cause i didn’t like it so i respectfully asked for it taken off.

Not good @! They did not wipe down anything the whole time we were there!! Facilities were Nasty! The dividers they used to separate you from them were all dirty!! The place was just nasty ! Someone need to shut it down!

I moved to Kernersville the month of January, and Hollywood nails was by far the best nail shop. Until today November 8, 2020. I was scheduled a 3pm appointment with Lynn, it’s now 3:11pm and I’m still waiting. Besides I was passed the colors to choose and Lynn husband rudely came up to me and was rude and yelling, nevertheless slamming things. I was lost and she didn’t say anything. I did anything but as of today I will no longer be a regular. Rudeness is not professional when running a business, at any moment!

Pedicure was fine. However, the salon is way too lax on COVID-19 prevention practices. Employees and several customers were not wearing masks. In fact, all employees removed their masks before the end of my service. Not requiring masks for both employees and customers during these times for these types of services being offered (in such close proximity) is unsafe and definitely a no go for me. I definitely will not return during the pandemic. Very disappointed.

This salon has the worst pedicure service I have ever experienced. My feet felt the exact same way as I walked in. Now I take care of my feet so they are not even that rough and for her to not be able to get my heel smooth was an issue for me. The manager politely said they do not have the proper tools other salons have to removed dead skin 😳😳 that is beyond surprising to me since they offer an extensive package for their pedicures all of $60 just for the manager to apologize for their poor service.

They where very nice and helpful. When another nail Spa messed my nails up.... they where will to do what every they could do at a decent price and where careful to make sure I was satisfied with their services. I would most definitely recommend them to my frinds and family. Thanks :)

Lynn is wonderful. Very good at her job. She is fast and my nails always turn out wonderful. People are always noticing my nails and complimenting how great they look. I only have a fill in once a month and my polish never chips between fill ins. Keep up the great work!

I have been coming here ever since I moved from Jersey. They do an amazing job! I get SNS and my nails always look fabulous. Tried a few other places but I always come back here.

I have been doing simple manicures/pedicures from professionals for over a decade and have lived and traveled all over the United States. This little spa is by far my favorite to come to. I have never left disappointed in the whole two years Ive been coming here. My favorite go to gal is Tina! She does the best work for my natural nail look, gives excellent attention to detail, and her work always lasts the longest. I would highly recommend Tina to any one looking to get their nails done right!

Five Star Plus rating again my girlfriend came to the store and she said she was very pleased she had a pedicure great great job they did. Prices are really good and affordable. She was very pleased and will return again to this Hollywood Nails and Spa she goes there quite often I need to go there now I need a pedicure.

Me and my 90 year old Mother-in-law just left there and we had such a wonderful experience. She had never had a pedicure before and the two ladies who worked with us were terrific! Unfortunately I did not get their names :/ Highly recommend their salon.

Not the best. We went to have services done for our anniversary vacation. my wife had to argue with the girl during her Brazilian and leg wax to get her to do the whole areas . The worker kept saying you dont have to do it all some hairs are blonde u can even see them. She also ripped several large areas of skin off due to her not holding the skin tight. Of course we paid and still tipped ( not as much as we normally would ) But we wont go back. we left and went directly to another salon just to get them to finish the job. Only wished I could remember her name. Sorry no photos due to the areas on the body.

Really enjoyed Hollywood Nails and Spa. It was my first time visiting, my husband surprise me with a pedicure. All of the texts were really nice and I actually met a really nice lady while I was there and we talked the whole time. Cant wait to revisit.

Love my nails! Never had any problems with my nails or pedicures, they last 3 weeks. Don & Lynne are super nice but Don is the funny one. I like this place so much I give gift certificates. Seen the other reviews but can only give my experience.

There are so many nail salons in Kernersville, but if you want your nails done right this is where you need to come. My manicurist did a great job of taking off the old gel and still keeping my nails intact. Thank you for making my hands beautiful. Certainly in love with this place!

Ive never been so disrespected by a business owner as I was today after Ive been spending my money at her location over 2 years. Did she forget that a poor reputation will cause her doors to close? Did she forget that shes not the only person you in her line of business? I promise on everything I love even if I was given a free ticket for service that I would never enter Hollywood Nails in Kernersville again!!!

A great Salon

I would not even given Hollywood nails and spa a 1 star rating but thanks to google I had to. So starting off when I first went into the store I already felt I was being judged. I picked my color and sat down at a chair to get my nails done and when I lady who was clearly free and could have done my nails gave me a look and went to another lady to help her instead of me and I was already ready to go. So then I had to switch my car and go to a man who had just got done doing someone else’s nails. He rushed my nails and cut a little piece of my thumb enough to make it bleed. He clearly could speak english but did not make an effort to speak to me even when putting my nails in the nail dryer or even to being my hand to him. I feel very disappointed and my 8 year old cousin could have done a better job and maybe my nails would not be sloppy if a manager sees this I deserve a apology and my money back.

This place is pretty horrible. First of all the stuff was weird, but you can get over that if you get a quality product. I did not! I was encouraged to try the new SNS powder, it chipped to pieces in less than a week! Found out when I went to Royal Nails that the technician did it wrong! My pedicure nail polish, that ship too, and less than a week! Normally that lasts for a month. I will not be going back! Royal Nails is my new spot!

I have been a customer there since they first opened. (About 5 yrs) I’m also in a beauty industry and have an amazing staff. I have observed the owner, Dan be totally disrespectful to his employees and his wife. He talk to his customers rudely and pushes your hands away hard. He yells instead speaking to staff, no breaks, takes clients at closing then rushs staff to finish and to clean up. Today was the final straw for me. I’ve spent my last hundred dollar with Hollywood Nails. I have recommended several of my salon guest there. Plus my four daughters to go there on a regular basis. They will not see any more money from the McManus family. If you feel that you want to spend your money where are you are not RESPECTED & VALVED, be my guest! Good luck to the current staff in finding better employment, they are phenomenal!

First time getting my nails done in Kernersville and I won’t be returning to this place. I gave 2 stars because the lady that greeted me was nice and the service was fast.

Only place I go and have gone in last 4 years. They are always kind and take their time. They do stay busy but you can make appointments.

I waited for over an hour for a pedicure... And then when I got help.. The employee was very rude. I stopped coming here for a reason and I forgot why.. But today was a quick reminder.

Good customer service...not so good experience with pedicure. It barely lasted a week. Will not return.

I sat and waited 50 minutes when someone came thru the door, said she had some place to be could they do it fast... they sat her next to me and the owner starts doing her SNS right then. I said I have been here almost an hour and now I have to wait for you to finish hers? He smiled and said I do both I waited another 15 minutes and finally left. I have also had them start my nails, then get up and leave me to do a pedicure. I waited because I thought she would be right back.she never came back so I left. I must have a sign on my forehead that says doormat because that is how I am treated there. Never ever going back. These people are not friendly in the least and will treat you badly.

Any place that cuts your nails is better than having to know yourself if you can afford it personally Ive only ever have one pedicure and want to go back

Extremely long wait time - waited for over 2 hours before I walked out because they took 3 other walkins ahead of me. Employee stated she didnt know I was waiting to be serviced. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Great work! Love my nails. Great pedicure make feet very soft after. Wait time is 30 mins on Sunday at noon to start. SnS acrylic and regular pedicure is 1hr 30 mins. One of my coffin nails is crooked but looks like an easy fix with a good nail file. Clean establishment. Skill techs - I’ll def be returning for sure. Very happy with my service

This place is horrible. People are rude and barely speak. When in there for a fill in and paint and 2 different people were bouncing back and forth doing my nails, someone elses nails an someones feet. Took a very long time to get done and when they was finally done I was very upset with the job. I expressed my feelings and they re did them...very fast and rudely. Still was not happy, I had paint all over my fingers and was a waste of my time. I would NOT recommend anyone to go here. If you do wanna try it for yourself, do it at your own risk!

The guy in this salon is rude, hot tempered and refuses to acknowledge any requests or concerns you have. I will NEVER go back, he applied the SNS over my cuticles which is not good for cuticles nor appealing to the eye. He was basically very insulting. He is rough as well. I can see by the other reviews I am not the only one. Its too bad because the other technicians are on point.

Not the best mani/pedi in the area. My nail tech was very friendly and I did come in on a busy day, but they were really understaffed and I ended up spending 2+ hours there (this is from nails soaking to paying the bill) on an average manicure and pedicure.

Call on day this week to ask what time they stopped seeing people and I got hung up on, then made in today bc I work not and don’t get off until now (got here 7ish but not passed 7;30 yet) and they told me they weren’t taking ppl. Why have a schedule if they won’t take you even before they close

Very nice hot paraffin for pedicure.

Not a good experience. Ive been a couple of times for pedicures and they were not relaxing at all. One lady used her nails on the soles of my feet during the massage portion of the pedicure. It was so irritating, to the point I asked her to stop and please move on to polishing. I will not be back.

I only get pedicures here, but they do a great job. The only issue is its sometimes difficult to understand some of the techs

Personally, I will never go to this nail salon ever again. I took my sister with me a little over a week ago and my nails are already coming off. I got SNS done because they are the only nail salon near me that I know of that does SNS. The guy that did my nails didnt even know what he was doing and other women that were in the nail salon with me said that they have never seen him here before. I asked for french and when he did them they were crooked. They were messed up and they were uneven. I also asked for short nails because I cant have king nails at work and he left them long. I even asked him multiple times to shorten them up and they were still left long. They were also crooked and I had to ask the owner of the nail salon to fix them. Because the man knew they were crooked, he wanted to put a line of silver finger nail polish so that he could cover up his mistake. I am not happy at all with this nail salon and it definitely wasnt worth my $65 for me and my sister.

This place is very clean. The staff here are very nice and sociable.

Went in for a fill, and the lady did an Awesome job shaping my nails, after the last salon I went to totally jacked up the shape. She fixed them and they look fantastic. Only downfall was that for just a fill it was $17 not a huge thing, but a tad pricey. I guess you pay for what you get though. Also I like my acrylic a little thicker and she really thinned my nails out im worried theyll break pretty quick, then ill be upset. The atmosphere was quiet and the technician hardly spoke which to me isnt a bad thing, but if youre looking for a chat I dont suggest here. Other than that it was a good experience, I would recommend.

*RUDE* does not do justice to this place or the main guy who works there (Don is his name). So I looked up a few synonyms to describe... DISRESPECTFUL, BRASH, INSULTING, OFF-PUTTING, HARSH, NASTY, CURT, INSENSITIVE, & LOUD -- DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE (suppose its because he (Don) owns the place and feels he doesnt need your money because other people will come... though the wife will try to fix things after her irrational husband has just yelled at you for no apparent reason.. ). Lets add BIZARRE to the list.If you care about where you spend your money -- DO NOT RECOMMEND -- you go here, much like other reviewers have shared. I suspect the 5 star people are those who the wife (while smiling and handing them bottled water) may have dealt with. Things start out nice at first, and then drastically change... you have been warned.

Got SNS last it a whole month going back

Received a manicure/pedicure about 1 month ago from Hollywood Nails and Spa in Kernersville, NC. Id been going to the salon for about 1 year on a every other week basis and was always satisfied with their services. However on July 9th, I was talked to as if they were doing me a favor or perhaps I was getting services for free! The Owner and/or Manager was absolutely rude when I told him that Id requested a clear polish on my nails to the tech that done my pedicure, as he was to do my manicure. Whats bizarre is the fact that I told him my color of choice before he got started and asked if I could see the color chart for SNS. That seemed to ignore him and once he got up to get the color chart, I pointed to the color of my choice and he begun shaking the color chart firmly and quickly.. yelling and pointing that isnt clear!!!!....this is clear!!! I found myself apologizing to him stating that I considered the color to be clear and didnt think it was a huge deal because he hadnt started on my nails yet. I could have kicked myself for allowing him to continue, while everyone around looked in disbelief. Yes, I was a loyal customer who never once complained or asked for redos and also sent new customers to the salon. I dont know if the owner was having a extremely bad day or what... but it wasnt because of me!! Im sure the lost of one customer doesnt matter to him, but I will take my money to another salon. To be yelled at and embarrassed by someone who is providing a service that I can get on every block is not how I choose to spend my money and time. I would never turn to this salon! Base off the other reviews, Im not alone and it doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason for the mistreatment.

Theyre rude and he cut my fingers (3) and they bled and he ignored them and continued to paint over the blood. Then, he left nail polish on my hand. Dont go. Just dont.
