The guys here are great! Always nice and courteous. Amazing customer service. They do good work and are quick about it. They make sure you are taken care of and don’t take advantage of you. I’m a regular, as I’m sure a lot of people are, but when I come in, they acknowledge that I’m a (regular) familiar face. The literally welcome me back. I feel super comfortable and happy knowing that I have a trusted establishment with awesome employees to help with my car maintenance. You won’t be disappointed!

Worst experience ever! I will never go back! I would give zero stars if I could. Said they checked everything, but they clearly didnt. Made my car stall and my check engine light come on. Had to go somewhere else to see what they did wrong. They were clueless! Manager didnt care. No help at all. Stay away!

Didnt feel very professional. I waited for a while while 3 men working on 2 cars ahead of me were shuffling lazily around in sandals and vaping inside. Most of the time looking like they were waiting for something to do. did the same thing during my oil change as well. I had to ask the young man several times to repeat himself as he begrudgingly whine/whispered/asked me to start the car or flash lights. I wasnt expecting anything flashy but this was my first visit to this location (been coming here for years) that has me scouting a new one.

I stopped for a car wash last year with my Toyota Sienna. It was just over a year old at the time. The car wash pulled my passenger side bumper off partially. Immediately following, when I attempted to talk to them I was made to wait a long time inside their work area, given a blank piece of paper to provide information for an incident report (they were out of forms for some reason...) and accused of trying to scam them repeatedly. I was assured I would hear back from the owner the following week after they reviewed their camera footage. I never heard anything from them and couldnt get anyone to discuss on the phone. I gave them ample time and opportunity to handle this appropriately. I dont have time in my life for this kind of treatment. Never again will I give them a penny.

Quick friendly service. I had a light bulb for the right turn signal replaced. Only $12.99. price was less than Ive paid at other places in the area for the same thing.

I came in this morning for an oil change. Every single person I interacted with had great customer service and I left with a smile on my face. It came out a bit higher than expected due to a few reasonable, though added, charges. It would have been nice to know these ahead of time.

I recently went in to get a difficult to reach light bulb in my 2008 Honda Fit and as always they were happy and kind people and new their stuff. They replaced it in seconds. I had some questions about clearing up my foggy headlights too, and they had me step out of my car to see how they did it. They are very transparent about everything and gave me a free car wash afterwards! They also wiped down my car of the small amount of water droplets that weren’t blown away by the dryer section at the end of the wash. They are amazing and know what they are doing. Great service!

I visited Penzoil today and I have to say that my experience was very pleasant compared to other location for oil changes Ive been to. Especially Alex and Rob were so kind and polite. The manager Rob, and Manny and the rest of the crew here are nothing short of awesome. They are quick, efficient, and extremely courteous. They’ve been helpful to let me know when I need a new part or filter, but have not tried to aggressively upsell me. These are the people that you want working on your car… They instill trust to me as a customer,and definitely make me want to come back to use them in the future. Would happily recommend to anyone without reservation.

There are no other mechanics in town I trust more than these guys. They genuinely care about their customers and and go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. Special shout out to their assistant manager - really stand up guy.

The car wash is great and the price is competitive for the area. However, I wouldn’t recommend any other service other than getting your oil change. For example when they put air in my tires every single one of my tires at a different psi ranging from 5 to 10 psi difference. There are other services that they always try to upsell and they are usually not needed. If you do need them go to a different automotive place that you trust. They change my transmission fluid but all I got the old fluid and replaced it. They did not replace the filter or flush the transmission like it should’ve been if it was done properly. Also it cost nearly $200 and basically wasn’t worth it.So Only use the car wash and get your oil change, that’s my recommendation. Use other services that you’re at your own risk to your wallet and your vehicle.

Left streaks on car. I liked how fast the car wash went but I was not happy with the results. This is not the only place that fails to wash the back of the car, but this is the first place where we had soap on the car after the car wash was finished.

The team is so friendly and knowledgeable and work like a real team. I started getting my oil changed at this location about a year or so ago and have been going back ever since. They go above an beyond with what they check. I know this because I had been going to Valvoline and was never told that my transmission fluid was bad. The FIRST time I went to Pennzoil, they noticed my transmission fluid was WAY passed needing to be changed (apparently Valvoline doesnt check transmission fluid, or at least hadnt checked mine). It was so bad that they needed to flush it twice, so even though that cost a little extra, I felt VERY thankful that they caught it and corrected it.I really trust the team at this Pennzoil location and will continue my business with them.

The gentlemen who work here are just that, gentlemen. Very polite, thorough, not pushy. Very honest. Sometimes, as a woman going by yourself, you feel like youre being pressured by the employees at oil change places to do things youre not sure are really necessary. Not the case here. I honestly felt like treated me as well as they would their mother or sister. If I could rate 10/10, I would!

They were fine, but no one was wearing a mask, which I feel is very unprofessional and dangerous right now. They also seemed unorganized and a bit confused on who was doing what.

I am not very happy with the service that I have had lately. I called in March to cancel my membership. Due to COVID I couldnt make it down so I had to talk to the manager to have my membership canceled. Well I thought everything was all set. Well now I have noticed in my bank account that money has been withdrew all this time. I havent used the carwash a single time because its 50 minutes from my house. Anyway I called to discuss the issue Monday. Manager was out until Wed. Called Thursday and the manager was out and would call me when he got back in. Well I never got a call back. Tried to call this morning and he isnt in yet. I need this canceled and would really appreciate the refund back to March when I had canceled. I may start membership up again when we go back to our office, however I will not if I continue to have issues.EDIT: I see that I missed two calls but no messages. I emailed the contact us in the website my address. I appreciate your quick response.

Great service that is quick! Had to get an air filter that they dont carry. They ordered one for me and it was here within 5 mins! Highly recommend stopping if service is needed for your vehicle!

My wife took in her car for an oil change this morning and they charged her $80 (its always been 50ish w/that vehicle in the past). She asked why it was so much, and they said b/c of the oil they used (again, same exact vehicle has always been 50ish there). I had her send me a picture of the invoice, and there seems to be an added $29.99 fee w/no description as to what that was for. They took advantage of her, and we will not be back.

When someone goes above and beyond, they should be recognized. Alex was off his shift but wanted to be sure I had what I needed to clean my car...found the owner and got me some Armorall cleaning wipes even though they were closed. We need more Alexs out there!

My husband and I love the smart and hard working crew that works here! Always ask for Alex or Tim! Everytime we leave here, were satisfied and theyre always polite!

Fantastic service. The staff were friendly and efficient. When it was discovered I needed an air filter and transmission fluid flush along with my oil change they immediately offered a discount for getting the work done today. Later they also threw in a pair of all weather windshield wipers for free (currently 1/2 off). It was unexpected and appreciated. The staff also are very good at explaining/demonstrating what they checked, what they recommend and why, and the work they are doing. I highly recommend.

Noticed my back light was out and needed air in my tire. Guy changed the light and said no charge for it. Not originally from Grand Rapids but, just like the one in Saginaw, their attitudes and ability to do work is always on point especially for a free service. Will forever to come back

Horrible horrible horrible customer service!!!! They don’t want to return my money and they say “If you didn’t want to continue the membership you’d have to call and let us know.” They did not explain it when I applied It last year in April and they also not mention about monthly auto payment too. They did not give this information not at all! How could I know it!!They just think about money not customers! Money is all for them!!!!It is the way that they treat customers!!!Be careful!!!

Quick and friendly service for an oil change!

My family has been taking our vehicles to this location for years! The team is always super helpful to our entire family. Yesterday I was having car troubles and we brought it here to ask the guys to check it out before I brought it back to the dealership and Alejandro and Tim filled up all of my fluids under my hood, checked my tires, and checked underneath for any leaks. They even offered us a car wash. Super professional and kind! Highly recommend!

Im currently at the shop and they sprayed the hinges, offered to clean the windows (even with it raining outside), explained the whole oil change process (yes, Im one of those people who likes to know) and gave great service. As a first time customer I also got their special which was an added fun surprise ☺️ very helpful family run business and will come again.

Excellent free vacuums, but I stopped by at 7:20pm and they were already closed, when their hours stated they would be closing at 8:00pm.

I have been using these folks for oil changes for over a decade. Generally, they provide top-notch service, and attention to detail, which justifies their somewhat premium pricing. However, on my last visit, July 7th, their attention to detail had disappeared and I was frankly disappointed by my $96 oil change and little else. I did let management know, and will certainly give them another try, in 3 months. Will see - hopefully just a COVID related aberration.

Tim and the rest of the crew did a great job for me! I usually go to another place but was in the area so I stopped. I really like my other place but since I received such great and honest service I will go out of my way to come here from now on. They also gave me a free carwash to boot! Called because my oil light was not reset after my oil change. The gentleman I talked to said I could either youtube it (which I did and it did not work) or come back in and they would do it for me. I said great! Thanks!! Went back in to be told they “can’t do it because of Covid 19” thanks for wasting my time! Won’t be back!! Don’t appreciate liars and lazy employees. Come here and that is what you will get! “Free car wash” is free because it’s garbage, don’t waste your time here!

Terrible car wash, be careful! I used car wash here last year just for one month. Then I did not used it not at all but they have charged monthly charge for whole year without my agree!I want them to return my money back but they don’t return it.When I signed last year to use one month, they did not explain about automatic monthly charge. Now they say there was an explanation on the sign sheet about monthly payment. But when I signed up they said just fill it out and sign up. They should tell about monthly payment but they did not!And now they don’t want to return. What a terrible car wash! Be careful you don’t know what they will do. Untrustworthy!

Ive been getting my oil changed here for a few years now. The staff here are always professional and helpful. They dont push me to purchase things I dont need, which is nice. But they will let me know if its a serious issue and needs attention. I had Mike, hando, and Emmanuel help me today and they were great as normal! I love how quickly I get in and out as well. Overall a great place to get your oil changed.

Some friends and relatives swear by this place. I started taking my brand new van here for service (oil changes) for nearly a couple years. I’ve been getting full synthetic, along with Lucas products (which they offer). My van is always humming along smoothly.They only recommend services that you need. Last time I had air filter change. This time they said my air filter and wiper blades were looking perfect.Today, I had my trans fluids serviced. I’m a former DIY auto service guy, so when they showed me the color of my trans fluid, I was floored. So on top of oil service they flushed my trans fluid twice (for good measure) and filled it along with Lucas.Super communicative. Tell you and show you everything that they’re doing. And being a car guy myself, I would know if they’re trying to pull a fast one on me. They’re honest, knowledgeable, and do a good job. I’ll be using these guys for years to come.Thanks Ryan, Emmanuel, Mike, and Alejandro! You’re world class and deliver old school, personal service, with care.

It’s not everyday you get a friendly staff to work with. Tim, Bryce, and Cruise answered my questions I had related to oil health and my cars health overall. If you’re short on time and need to get a quick oil change I would recommend swinging by their location for a change.

I have always been treated very well at this location. The employees are quick and check a wide variety of details to make sure lights, filters, fluids are all in good order. I dont feel heavily pressured and get great information and care. Ive been happy with the car wash as well.

Went in for a routine oil top off and the staff mentioned I had an oil leak and gave me a card to see “their guy” at Big Rays Auto Repair on Division saying tell them we sent you and that they will take good care of me. Told me they would get the car in there ASAP. I head right home and call my long time trusted mechanic to look at and next thing I know there is oil all under the car in my garage. I take my car right to my guy only to find that they left the cap off and that oil had then blown all over my engine and subsequently dripped on to the floor. Come to find out, it seems that they also own Ray’s and are pushing work into their own repair business. Watch out!!

Incredibly fast service, and when our oil was leaking last night, the manager CAME TO US stranded on the road, to do a brand new oil change on the spot. I have never received such good service in my life. Every time I have gotten my oil changed, the reps are kind and quick. Highly recommend!

First experience was top notch. Second visit I told them the oil I wanted (higher mileage motor so lower viscosity than standard). They filled it with the standard oil. I confronted them about the tag and rather than offering to fix the problem, they pretended to replace the oil after telling that they didn’t want to drain the seven quarts that they’d just put in. Should’ve just owned up to it and took the hit. Lost a customer and I’ll not recommend their location again.

Got oil changed 10 days ago. Started getting oil spots in my driveway so I had a local shop and discovered the drain plug was not in all the way.

Ive had great service. They do more than just oil changes... wipers, light bulb replacements and fluid checks / top offs. Keeps my car running well.

Alex was great to work with, he was not pushy and didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need, which for anyone that gets their oil changed knows that EVERY TIME you’re told you need a new air filter 😂He was helpful and professional, I will definitely go back!
