We were traveling through the Tri-Cities with our truck and 5th wheel and spending a couple of nights there. I am a do it yourself kinda guy. Saving as much money as I can. But sometimes I cant do the job. And when that happens, I go to Tri-cities Automotive. They have helped me fix the A/C in my 2008 Saturn. By diagnosing that the condenser was bad and not the pump. GOOGLE REVIEW READERS- There is a review on here for one star that is bogus in my opinion as I was the person that asked for and paid for the inspection that they are referencing. I am sorry that it did not turn out the way they wanted, but I can assure you Tri-Cities Automotive had nothing to gain by assessing the car for me and finding things that needed repair. I live in Western Washington and was going to have it trailered here if it checked out and would have had repairs done at a local shop near me so that they became familiar with the vehicle. I am grateful for Tri-Cities Automotive for sending me a comprehensive report that potentially saved me thousands in repairs and lots of headaches. I would use them again if I needed a pre-buy inspection again.

They seemed to do ok work, but I was not impressed with the customer service. The first time I called, the lady answering the phone was not very nice. A friend recommended them, so I ended up calling back later and making an appointment. Still not nice, but not rude either.My appointment was supposed to be less than an hour. I ended up standing out in the cold for an hour and a half waiting. I finally had to call and ask how much longer it was going to be.What really bothered me was that no one there was wearing a mask. When they saw that I was wearing one, they didnt comment on it. Didnt put one on. Didnt ask if I wanted them to put one on. The waiting area is tiny, and unmasked people kept coming and going. I decided to wait outside and freeze.

They were friendly, accomodating and got the job done:) highly recommended !

Great service. Finding facilities that will provide chassis service for class A motor coaches can be difficult at times. They were ready & willing to provide requested services while working with me to return the coach quickly. Highly recommended!!

Timing belt and water pump was replaced. They didnt charge me for a part that broke during disassembly. They were very apologetic when they called saying it would take more time to get the replacement part.I give them high marks on their professionalism and will go their again when a repair is needed to my vehicles.

Our car was brought into this shop for an inspection for a possible sale. Not only did the mechanic want to over charge for the work that he said needed to be done, he also quoted work that didn’t even need to be done. Not only did he make almost $200 on the inspection he was also trying to make money on a job that didn’t need to be done. $800 on brakes, you’ve lost your mind. Take your stuff to Cronks in Richland if you want an honest mechanic shop.

Tri-Cities Automotive Repair helped me with a used car pre-purchase inspection, which included typical car interior/exterior/mechanical checks and a 4-mile test drive. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodated my request for photos of the car since I couldnt see it in person!The inspection report was easy to read and included many high quality photos. Kayla (the service manager) was super helpful and knowledgeable when I called with follow up questions about the inspection. Overall, the entire process was a pleasant experience and I really appreciated TCAs friendliness and willingness to thoroughly answer questions!

Tim and tri city motive did an awesome job on my f250 superduty. After taking my truck to several shops with no luck on my parking Brake, Tim was able to figure it out! He also went through and replaced my hubs and hub seals, tie rod ends and steering arms, steering shock and other misc. my truck has a bit of a rust issue and I can tell you that without Tims help I would have been into the work for much more and/or it would not have got done. Last minute oil change, rotation, alignment and accessory belt on an Infiniti and ive still got both arms and legs.I mean, come on.. Thats awesome. They even made time for me even though it was close to closing time. Even cooler still, was the fact that even though the data said it wouldnt be able to completely be aligned .. These guys are the absolute best. I have never been treated as honestly and fairly by a mechanic as I have when doing business with Tim and his staff. I take that back, they dont always treat me fairly...Tim will often times try and NOT charge me for extra work that he does. Thats not really fair in my book but thats the kind of guy Tim is. I would not hesitate to ever take anything with a motor in it to these guys. Ive told all my friends about them and now Im telling you...Let these guys take care of you, youll be glad you did.

As with most people I never got a honest feeling from other shops with Tim and his crew I could tell from the first phone call they were there to help and that was a good feeling. Didnt get the owners name, he was slammed busy. Made time to greet me as soon as I walked in anyway. Asked me what was going on and I told him to the best of my ability. About 45 mins later he called me back, let me know what had went wrong, explained how he was going to fix it. Then did it. Extremely honest and thorough. Wish I lived closer. This would be my go to shop. 10 out of 10 all day.

How can you rate a business that doesn’t provide a completed repair project? For me, it is pretty easy. My company’s driver was in the Tri Cities doing some marketing reconnaissance. We are interested in returning to the area with our specialty services for dry cleaners. About a third of the way into his research, our truck had some obviously serious issues. Someone recommended Tim at Tri Cities Auto Repair. Ultimately, after about six hours of testing, Tim discovered that our truck was on its last legs, having only one half of its V8 engine operating properly. The verdict: DOA. And Tim, ultimately feeling badly about the situation, only charged us a minimum amount. His empathy, professionalism and integrity came shining through. I have no doubt that if it could have been fixed, our truck would be on the road again. I am confident that if any vehicle can be repaired satisfactorily, Tri Cities Auto Repair would be up for the challenge.
