I started going to USA Brake and Auto about 12 years ago for issues I was having with one of my cars. They were straight talkers and were fast. I have never had issues with their work so have stayed with them ever since. It cost money to take care of your car and their prices are reasonable. They also are good at explaining common issues with each type of car. I have learned more about my cars and truck through USA Brake and Auto than the places I buy them from.

I brought my car in with completely inoperative air conditioning. I am mechanically inclined and usually like to fix all my own cars. Lately, I dont have much time available, so i brought in my car to have it fixed. The communication is great here and its a personable experience. When in a situation where you need your vehicle repaired at a fair price, the owner will take care of you and get you back on the road. This is a good place to keep a business card in your wallet, when you need a honest mechanic .

I’ve known Mirco for many years and have always known him to be honest. I’m an ASE master technician for over 29 rears and normally do all my work. I recently needed someone to evacuate and recharged My ac system due to temporary illness. I made an appointment with Mirco and brought my vehicle into his shop. I was not surprised that after completing the service on my vehicle he took my temporary physical condition into consideration and DID NOT CHARGE for the service. Good, Honest Mechanics with a Great Front OfficeCan’t say enough about how quickly my car was diagnosed and repaired. I was kept informed and guided towards a cost effective solution the entire way. My AC was intermittently blowing warm air. I took it to USA and had the system recharged. Since it only took 1/2# to fill, they suggested I move forward with further diagnosis, which I did. The result of the follow on diagnosis was a failed relay and that got me out the door with my vehicle and an invoice much cheaper than a failed compressor all in a matter of a few hours.

Awesome place! My husband and I have been taking all of our cars here for a few years now, and they always do an amazing job. They never pressure you to do unnecessary things, and always take the time to show you and explain things if they think something needs done and why. Even for simple things like an oil change, its definitely worth it to go here! Its nice to have found a place we trust completely!

We have always been happy with the service provided. Maintenance and repairs are done quickly and professionally. I took my car to 3 other shops for suspension repair none of them got it right. USA had my car for half an hour and called me to explain what they found since it was beyond the scope of work to make sure I wanted them to continue. Within an hour they called back with my car complete. It finally goes down the road straight, no more buying tires for me. Woot Woot!!!

This place needs a new mechanic. I took my car in there for diagnosing an oil leak that happened immediately after having my oil changed at Toyota of Tri-Cities and again at Wal-Mart. The mechanic said it needs a new oil cap.Ive since found another mechanic that looked at the oil filter who discovered that it was the wrong filter and was hanging there. It wasnt stripped, it was the wrong size for cars made 1988 to 1999. My car is well into the 2000s. Both Toyota of Tri-Cities and Wal-Mart put the wrong oil filter on my car but that didnt give the mechanic at USA Auto Brakes a clue to look at that first, despite me expressing my concerns and the timeline of when the oil leak started.Needless to say I wont be taking my car back there ever again.

I took my vehicle in to USA Brake and Auto Repair. I dont know a lot about cars but Rachel took the time to go over everything with me. My repairs were completed in a timely fashion. I will definitely return.

I had my engine worked on by the Subaru dealership(valve recall, engine was removed and put back in). McCurley then said i had a popping noise coming from my suspension and may need work(which was never there before i took the car in). I took my car to USA brake Auto repair and they were able to find the issue that was caused by the Subaru dealership. Motor mount installed incorrectly(causing metal on metal rub as well as an alignment bolt not in place. So glad to have my car back to normal. Will be coming back for any automotive needs i need in the future.

Great service fixed my front brakes. I just moved here and wanted to find a repair shop I can bring my car. All the staff is friendly. They drove me home since I didnt have a ride and then came and picked me up when car was done.I highly recommend them for honest and professional car service.

Brought my vehicle there for an alignment and ended up visiting with the owner while it was being serviced. Great guy. Not many places with down home honest service but I believe I finally found one. Im the guy that doesnt bring my rig to a mechanic and will spend hours doing something I dont enjoy because Ive had so many bad experiences with these kind of shops.

Needed cooling system flush and refill. They had to order a special antifreeze suitable for old cars. Everything done quickly and efficiently.Had a breakdown, (not related to the service), and they responded rapidly and diagnosed the problem and called a tow truck. We ordered the part while we were waiting. A bit of a challenge to get parts for a 78 year old car but its on the way and USA will do the repair.

This is THE BEST place family owned to get auto work and especially oil changes. They use the best quality oil and have my cars running smooth for over 6 years. Im happy to live in a city with such good people to help me.

I have a 2002 Dodge Neon that was overdue for the timing belt to be replaced. So when it started jumping and sputtering on me after a fill up I finally I took it in. The guys here were able to fix the sputtering issue and then went on to replace the timing belt. They were efficient and nice and although timing belt replacements are always pricy the overall price seemed very reasonable to me. Id go back. USA Brake & Auto Repair is the only place I go. They are always honest and upfront with you about whats really wrong with your car. Thank you so much for all your hard work, it is greatly appreciated.

Weve been using USA Brake and Auto repair for a couple of years now. They fixed one of our cars the same day after we were told by another company that they couldnt get to it for 3 days. Theyve fixed warranty repairs on our brakes from another company. Theyve given us the hook-up on tires. Theyve got reasonable prices for oil changes. Theyve even got a great online maintenance service schedule for your cars that you can use to know when you need to take your car in. Their prices are quite competitive and theyve always been quick and friendly. Weve tried others and they just left an oily taste in our mouth. These guys are anything but oily. They even gave our kids quarters to get some candy out of their vending machines while we waited for our car.

Even though today was the day before Thanksgiving, and it was lunchtime, they got me right in without an appoibtment and i was on my way in 15 minutes. Professional, friendly, great service at affordable prices. Will definitely be back!

Went here for second opinion. The team diagnosed the problem accurately. I used this independent shop and another one to build my case against a service dealership wrong diagnosis. First impression was that they are competent and honest, same goes with the other independent shop I went to. Try these guys first before you go to the dealership to service your car.These folks are great! Theyre not going to treat something unless they know for sure what the problem is... On our VW Beetle our check engine light came on and started running poorly. We took it to USA and I told them it acted like a fuel problem. They did diagnostics and said it needed both oxygen sensors and spark plugs for $850. We had them do the repairs. The next day the check engine light came back on and the fuel mileage dropped to about half. They had us bring it back in and said they could find nothing wrong but turned the light off, but the technician left his clipboard on the seat and his notes said the fuel pump was very noisy and would soon need changed. The service writer said nothing about that when we picked it up. Now, a week later, the check engine light goes back on and it runs really bad, then wont start. We had it towed to a different shop and they replaced the fuel pump. Seems to be great now. USA ignored the original complaint and cost us an extra $850 that may or may not have been needed. I have lost all faith in this shop.

I brought my 2007 Chevy HHR in for oil change, tire rotation and diagnosis on high RPM under a load... if I had 2 more thumbs.... these guys would get 4 thumbs up! Great service, honest answers and no trying to up sell or fix what’s not broken! They understood my situation and helped me where my car needed most! Customer service is stellar! Ive used USA Brake & Auto Repair for several years now. Theyve serviced a number of my clunkers and have always done excellent work. Mirko and staff are always friendly and honest. They dont charge you for junk you dont need or waste time trying to get you to fix stuff you can live without. They do let you know everything they find though and are very helpful in finding solutions for you to get your ride fixed up right! They are average-priced overall and sometimes a little high, but I have NEVER been disappointed with the service! Its sometimes hard to find a good mechanic (one you can trust) but these guys are tops! :)

Perfection Tire: Rip off on Air Conditioning they said 891.24 and a week later it was 1022.37 and it cost me 168.62 At USA Brake & Auto Repair off Clearwater the best place in town THANK YOU!!! To fix the problem not to guess and they fix only the problem. Perfection Tire wanted to replace the whole unit and lines. We have had a Credit Card with them over 3 yrs and Had 3 sets of Tires put on 3 rigs and brakes jobs on two vehicles and many other odds and ends so for them to treat us as if we didnt matter that hurt and when I found out they where ripping me off omg that is just greedy, How is Perfection Tire helping our community ?

I called and scheduled a brake service in a 1ton full floating axle. Obvious to the barely trained eye. Half way through they said they would have charged more for a full floating axle had they known. Then after 45 minutes of beating on the rusted drum they informed me it takes a special tool to remove the drum. Finally they were able to remove it. They quoted me $1800. Lesschwab wanted 700. I did the work myself in just a couple hours and cost me under 100. They need to take the word brake out of thier name.

Today Mirko and his crew of excellent technicians tackled the boots on my Dodge Dakota. He said he had hoped to get it done but wasnt sure it was feasible and that I might have to wait until Monday. This is on on a Friday mind you and I had no standing appointment. Well this establishment was really busy on this particular day but they still managed to get the job done and do it well. By way of Mirko and the crew at USA Brake and Auto Repair my family and I will be able to travel safely out of town on Monday to a very important engagement in Seattle with no worries. On a day when all was going wrong in my world, from back up toilet, on hold for computer apt. for thirty minutes... and then to see the geeks...then homeward bound.....(or so I thought). The day was sunny, I rolled down the vans window, and the shock when it fell right into the door..This might have been the last straw.... but not with USA Brake and Auto as my next destination. I knew that as bad as my day had been.. that the friendly folk at USA would be able to help me with my newest problem.From the receptionist, to the technicians, to the wonderful owner... all greeting us with smiles. I can honestly say they have that small town customer service feel and are honest with their prices.. I spoke to Angie and she was very helpful.. A man cane in about his alignment and ask how long the wait will be, she said, Ill pull one of my guys so we can get it looked at. after th e car was checked and there was nothing wrong with his alignment she said since there was nothing wrong youre free of charge.. I would not even give them a half of star. Took my truck in (F150) for a tune up. $300.00 they say, then they call me and tell me the spark plugs broke off and fell into my engine and that I would have to pay now 3000.00 to fix their mistake. Well I went down there and the owner detoured me and tried to get me in the back so the other customers would not know but yet would not let me talk to the guy that worked on it. No clue what to do. They fully screwed me over. Truck is now parked.

The worst experience in my life. I had an issue with my breaks and as i was driving i realized there is absolutely no breaks which means i cant stop so I drove to the nearest break repair shop usa auto breaks I went in and asked for the owner Mario i believe anyways I asked him if he can take a look and help me he looked at me as i was bothering him and profiled me as i did not look at my best, after talking to him for long time i was able to convince him to just get in the driver seat and confirm my concern he got in the driver seat and pushed on the breaks he got out and looked at me and said oh wow you have no breaks you should not be driving it!!!!! I had explained to him as i recently lost my job and i can make payments threw my savings and if he could please work on it or fix it or give me an estimate he refused and i was beside myself as he just told me i should not be driving its not safe at this point we both were outside im still trying to have him fix my truck and work out a deal to pay he gave me a look as I do not care just take your truck and leave as a matter of fact he had his phone headset on and said my phone is ringing and i have to go and left me in the parking lot. i decided to get a tow and get my truck towed to les schwab my experience with les schwab was above and beyond satisfactory as they got my truck in and out same day and I was approved for credit I am thankful for les schwab and there concern about my safety whether i have a job or not they just wanted me safe and willing to work with and they did an amazing job and the 1100 was well worth it and they have my business now for life. Never ever would i recommend this place as its all about the dollar no compassion or even cared about my safety very poor customer service

This shop wanted to charge $600 for a repair that the Subaru dealership in Pasco estimated and did for half the price. The owner of USA said they had to mark up the prices on their parts to stay in business (in this case they wanted $237 for an OReilly part that the dealership priced an oem one at $140) and that the labor amount was by the book... the same labor estimate (and actual job time) from the dealership was a fraction of the time. My personal feeling is this is standard practice here, and they were counting on my not knowing or not taking the time to look around.

When my Dodge Stratus lost power coming home from work, I called Mirco at USA Brake and Auto and took my car in. The service I received as usual was top notch and well deserving of a (FIVE STAR RATING)!!

I called USA Brake at 4:00 PM not expecting to be able to do an oil change and tire rotation because it was so late in the day. I spoke with Mirko (The owner), thinking I would have to set an appointment. Mirko said bring it down and I will squeeze you in! Wow! The service was done and I was back on the road in 20 minutes! That is service above and beyond the norm!!

I attempted to do business with these people. I had high hopes considering all of their positive reviews..the appeal of their business was very high, However after a very long and repetitive phone call to get an estimate I realized I could never do business with these people.The person on the phone made me repeat the same numbers at least ten times, and even then still got it wrong in the end. I hoped Id get a quick estimate like all the other businesses I called in the Tri-Cities but didnt hear back until a day later (when you need a vehicle fixed you dont really have the time to relax and lollygag around for people to call you back..)Perhaps a visit to the actual place might have been a better route to go.. maybe thats some advice for people looking at these reviews? the people on the phone seemed very nice though just a little confused/perhaps hard of hearing?

Murco and crew are very nice and respectful to work with. I was in the Tri-Cities to visit a relative at Kadlec Hospital and my car started making a moaning sound. I called 3 dealer shops to see if I could bring it to them and they were all booked up. I called USA Brake and Auto just from seeing their ad in the phone book and they said bring it in. The sound got worse just on the 3 mile drive there. I walked in and explained what was going on. Murko took it for a test drive and then put it up on the wrack right away. Within 45 minutes I had an answer to what it was. Transfer case was shot. He gave me an estimate and said he could have the part in 4 business days and fixed in 5. I gave him the go ahead and he was off and running. We received all the follow up calls to let us know the part had come in on time and we were called when it was complete and everything worked out just as promised. I would recommend this shop to anyone that is in the area.

Spent over 3,000 and they still dont know whats wrong with my car... dont go here they dont know what they are doing and they are very disorganized.

Theyve done some work for me, and I ran into a lot of issues, the unfortunate thing is they were buying PCM computers that were not being rebuilt correctly, and I happened to get stuck with two bad ones out of the gate, this ended up being a huge inconvenience and cost to me, and there were also a few misunderstandings, in the end he gave me almost a full refund, and he truly felt bad for all my trouble and inconvenience, the owner is actually a very nice guy and he made this right with me, I will definitely do business with him again, he even threw in a free oil change for my trouble, most important the car is running great and we can put this behind us
