Great halibut experience.Thank you Tyler .

Tyler and Redman took us for a fun day of fishing in the Inlet. The Kings werent biting, but we all caught our limit of Halibut. Ninilchik is a great location for fishing and the Hooksetter is a great boat. They do a Hailbut/King Salmon combo charter out of Ninilchik for May and June and it is a great price, especially when compared to fishing out of Homer or Seward.

Such an amazing adventure with Dave and Tyler! You guys were absolutely awesome!! I felt like we were family when we left on Friday. Over 120# of Halibut and Salmon between our 2 families, I would say that was a successful fishing trip!

It was raining all day, we got soaked through, but we both brought in a beautiful King Salmon, and had a great time. Thanks Dave, for what you do for wounded warriors, may you and yours be blessed!

Atrocious fish handling techniques for catch and release species. Keep the fish out of the boat when handling a world class rainbow. As a “guide” you should know this as it is a regulation. I’m honestly shocked you’re still in business with the fish I see in the guides and clients pictures. Hopefully you’ll learn and practice proper CnR techniques.

Tyler was our guide for the day and did he put us on the fish. Our boat of 4 all filled our King salmon tag for the day in fact we were done by noon. Tyler was also helpful to arrange a Halibut charter out of Deep creek where we also filled our limit. For our first trip to Alaska and fill our tags also was a great experience. Tyler has the experience, equipment and secret sauce to GET THE FISH. On our way in we noticed how many boats were still out with all poles in the water. GREAT JOB Tyler Thanks

One of the most experienced guides out on the river. The Goggia family have guided my family and I on numerous occasions and each time we have left much more successful than any other boat on the river. I have been guided for the illusive trophy King for 4 years and my father 15 years. The family record was a whopping 69 1/2 pound king. Hook-y Charters is the way to go.
