Had a leak from slave cylinder and came in for a repair. Was quoted 3,000. I told the mechanic that I am a mechanic and the quote was outrageous; he just looked at me, shrugged, and said we are very busy.This place is a family owned chop shop for all the used car scum bags in town. Absolutely unbelievable that they would turn down a $500 job because I wouldnt pay $3000. The used car business must be very profitable.I feel sorry for the hard working people of kearney that they have to put up with these extortionists. Absolute trash.

Took my truck in to get a transmission coolant leak fixed and they cut the like and put new line over top of it and put clamps on it. First the coolant wasn’t leaking from the line it was leaking from the connector 2 now I’m stranded on the interstate

Did not mention that I had three transmission mounts that are bad after replacing my clutch and transmission case... Not to mention it took them more than a month and a half to receive my vehicle back. And it was giving back to me WITH TRANSMISSION MOUNTS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED!!!! Not to mention they dont call you if something else needs replaced... 100 percent would not recommend this transmission shop. Go to someone else if I were you.

They left my key in the on position and fried my glow plugs as well as lift pump and they will not feed up or work with me at all on it even tho I have video proof. Would not recommend your vehicle being work on here

These folks should be five or MORE across the board! I was traveling from western Colorado to Detroit. I had a truck I’d purchased only four days prior from a dealership in Colorado. 800 miles into my ownership of the truck the transmission had an issue that was in the 3000$ range. Limped into here because they said they understand travelers. Yes they handle locals well, but they know what it is (personally) to be stranded. I had a new truck, new wife (married that weekend and this was a Monday) and they did everything they could to get me fixed as quickly as possible.Wayne rocks. Simple as that.And, the lady at the desk? As solid gold as you could as for in a rock solid Midwestern Gal.Thank you Stacy and thank you TBK!!!

This is a long one but worth the read!I am moving from michigan to colorado and my car blew a drive shaft about 5 miles from TBK. I got a tow there and was greeted by Stacey and Wayne, right off the bat I knew I was in good hands. Wayne and his crew identified the problem and he immediately started making calls to get me back on the road. The only way I was getting back on the road same day was if the part was picked up 2 hours away in Lincoln. Wayne’s wife went and picked up the part for us with no hesitation and they were able to install it promptly and get me back on my way. The customer care I was provided was unmatched to anywhere I’ve been and I highly recommend TBK if in need of repairs. Thank you guys!

I personally would not even give them a star ... I took my vehicle there for a quote they gave me the quote 3 different times. For $2100 I got the loan only to call them to bring it in and they tried to jack the price up $700 more dollars stating they gave the wrong quote... So I took it else where and they did the job for less than $2000 and I am happy with the job done. Moral of the story if you own a business and quote someone a price. 3 times . You honor the quote

Pros: .... the parts work.... now.They told me they parked my C7 corvette in the garage at night BUT when driving by during the day my car was sitting in the street daily.Cons:1) Deceitful about the work necessary and warranty terms when telling me they wont warranty just the 1 synchronizer after they had pulled my transmission and removed the synchros. Thus already trapping me into their labor costs.2) Wasted time / incomplete repairs... had to bring the vehicle back 4 different times for the work to finally be properly fixed. Wasting my wife and Is time and gas / mileage on 2 vehicles. (We live out of town) Also, I told them I wouldnt drop it off until repairs could be started that same day but when I dropped it off it sat for over a week before being worked on. Total time was a month for return on work that should have been done in less than 2 weeks.3) I cant and wont recommend this transmission shop. They wouldnt even give a %10 or %20 discount off the bill... which was more than double my originally quoted bill of 1,800.

Highly recommend. Will not find a more friendly, honest and fair shop! They went way out of there way, even when they could not fix my truck. They took it to a shop that could, gave me a ride and did not charge me for the work or transporting my truck to TWO shops. And even shopped for the best deal for me.

I had the misfortune of having a transmission issue, stranding me 20 miles outside of town. TBK was so amazing throughout the entire process. Instead of trying to charge me a large amount of money, they worked with the manufacturer to help me get it covered under warranty. They then helped me transport my vehicle to Lincoln, NE for manufacturer repairs. I would recommend this company to anyone and am incredibly grateful for the professionalism and extra efforts, going above and beyond to help the customer.

I had an old school TH350 transmission rebuilt by TBK a couple years ago and Im just writing my review now to tell you that it still shifts great and have had no problems. Theyre very affordable and provide you with a great warranty.However, if you have your classic TH350 rebuilt, I recommend buying a new Speedometer Gear Housing because theyre cheap and the original ones go bad from age.

They always help when Im in need only place I really like to go.

Fred and I were stuck on the road with what we thought was a failed transmission on our 2001 ford truck and camper. Stacy, the wonderful office manager reassured us that we would be taken care of and to come right in. After getting a tow, Wayne the owner got right on it. He could have easily said that the transmission need to be rebuilt and charged us thousands of dollars and we would have never known the difference. But he discovered that the axle had broken. He ran to the parts house and picked up the axil. A short time later we were on the our way, having paid a very reasonable repair bill. These are the nicest people who put everything aside to get us back on the road.

We were returning home from Denver, after 4 hours the automatic machine box was in emergency mode, we called these guys, they sent us a tow truck, upon arrival at the workshop they gave us the keys for his pickup truck, without taking a penny for it. There were suspicions of a malfunction of the transfer case, the masters ordered it, reinstalled it on my car, but the problem did not go away, since it turned out to be different. The guys put our car back in working condition and did not take a cent for work, plus they gave away a new original transfer case. Thanks

Had transmission fluid and filter replaced. Good experience.
