This is the best spa Ive ever attended. I love this place. It is a complete spa and the massage chairs are awesome. They really are good at everything. I got a 90 minute massage, pedicure and facial. The added aromatherapy, hot towels and hot stones for my services really mad a difference. I had wine and the massage chair for the pedicure was comforting. I definitely recommend this place to others.

Excellent service always and tasty mimosas to get you in a fully relaxed mood. I usually get Lily and Trish to do my nails. They also offer waxing from legs to Brazilian eye brow waxing and full body massages. Clean space and mask are require during this pandemic. I have been going to this nail salon for over two years and it only gets better every time. Great service!’

This salon THRIVES on the relationships they build with their clients. I can personally attest to this because some of these employees have become like family. Tracy and Trish are the best of the best. Even the employees I do not use personally are so friendly and genuine. They know everything going on in my life and I know about theirs. Not only do I go and receive amazing services but I leave feeling even more connected to them. When things aren’t perfect, they do their very best to correct the concern and make things right. Other people have made reviews and said that communication was difficult. If you even remotely feel that your message wasn’t properly portrayed, then it’s your responsibility to ask for clarification or verification. No one here would deliberately give you something incorrectly. They pride themselves on their service and providing you with a quality experience, ALWAYS! I will continue to come here and will continue to bring others with me. For anyone who gets their nails done regularly, you know how much more important it is to have a relationship with the staff than just going to some assembly line facility that’s only mission is to “crank out” manicures and pedicures. These people are the best, and you’ll be glad to come here!

I have to say first that the staff was friendly and that the lady did do a good job on my nails. If it werent for the concern below Id go back in a heartbeat. I give this place a 1 because of sanitary concerns and they are not Covid related.I needed new dipping powder. The lady put some acetone in a small cup-like container and asked me to dip my nails in it to remove the old dipping powder. Thats standard so it didnt seem odd. When she was done removing all the dipping powder she poured the acetone back into the little bottle she initially poured it from. I said wait..... Thats used acetone. I just dipped my nails in used acetone? She said dont worry, the acetone very strong. I said what if you used that acetone for someone else to dip their nails in and they were bleeding. I myself had very tiny cut on one of my fingertips. She said no I use it to clean tools. (That should not be done either. She proceeded to dip the tip of the tool she used into another little container where she poured the used acetone- the one I had dipped my nails.)This is unfortunate because this place had such good reviews and again the staff was very friendly, but the reused acetone was concerning.Response to owner: The issue is not placing acetone in a bottle. The issue is that the nail tech poured that used acetone into a small little bowl for me to dip my nails in and I did (not knowing it was used already). That is not following safety guidelines and I really wish you would just acknowledge that it happened and just make sure it doesn’t happen again to other people. Thank you.

I have been going to Mimosa for 5 years. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional. They take their time and do quality work. It is so clean and you never have a wait. Water and yummy Mimosas are always offered!

From the perspective of the massage side of the business. I headed over and walked in for a 1 hour massage. It was $60 and I was taken back to a room pretty quickly. Youre covered with a body-length cloth that covers the entire table and the neck rest is comfortable. I had a little bit of difficulty communicating with the masseuse, but ultimately we squared away the amount of pressure I wanted, etc. The style appeared to be a general swedish massage. Overall, the massage was very relaxing and enjoyable. The level of skill wasnt up there with an experienced LMT working in concert with, say, a chiropractor, but it definitely cured what ailed me this morning (stiff back/neck/pain under shoulder blade.). Overall, recommend.

I came in here for my first time two days ago based off good reviews. I wanted a unicorn horn on one of my nails( basically just swirls ) for my daughters unicorn themed birthday and they couldn’t do that. I did overall like what I chose. I’m also happy with the shape of my nails. I would come here again. I believe the lady said her name was Anna. If I’m wrong I’ll correct the review :) the purple and blue is the the one with the unicorn horn I wanted. The other photo is what I have :)

I went into Mimosa Nails for a manicure and pedicure today. There were only 3 women in the shop. One had a child. Water was prepared but was lukewarm. I asked for a change in temperature (hot water). The person that I thought would be giving me a pedicure, scooped out water from the tub my feet were in and placed the water into a bucket. She ran to the back and poured hotter water from the same bucket into my tub. YUCK!! I also glanced over and saw rat traps on the floor. I wanted to get up to leave, but the floor was wet and I was afraid of falling! I waited for 10 mins for someone to start my pedicure. By then, the water in the tub was now cold.After my mani/ pedi.. I was told the charge would be $54. But when the manicurist ran my card, He charged me $57!!! He stated he made a mistake by hitting a 7 and not a 4. DO NOT COME HERE!! The facility dirty, service is slow and horrible. There are better establishments in the Katy area!!

I love the people here! They recognize me when I walk in and treat me like family. Owners are so sweet! The accommodate me when I walk in without an appointment and they always do a great job on my nails!

I have been going to Mimosa for two years. About two weeks ago, I was in the salon for services. I could hear a male employee telling another customer his opinion of a few racial things. 1) African American women always get pregnant by multiple men. 2) African American women are always getting welfare. 3) The kids of those African American women then repeat the cycle. I cant change the way that people feel. But I can change where I spend my money. Mimosa will never get my business again.

YVONNE is the absolute best. I’ve been having her do my pedicure for years and each time it’s the best. We’ve moved stores when she moves because it’s that good! I had LILY do my first ever facial and it was amazing . She cares so much about the work she does and takes her time to make sure you get the best serve. Ive been a customer for over a year here but had to make the change. Everyone is friendly and the salon is clean. However, twice now I had asked for the more expensive pedicure in order to get a shoulder massage. And twice the ladies never did the massage or even the warm neck wrap but still wanted to charge me for that pedicure. Im not one to make a fuss but after the second time, I dont feel like this is the place for me.

The lady who takes care of my nails and skin care is Lily, she is a total package. She spends time on what she is doing, very knowledgeable in everything. She goes by quality, thats why she always gives great service. I am also comfortable with this place, the owners are nice people.Another good thing about Lily, she is honest in giving beauty tips and tells you the right products that is suitable to your skin.

I had been to mimosa spa for the last 4 years I liked their service and atmosphere, until last Saturday I went and a new girl treated me, She damaged all the nails on my hands, I told her that I wanted shellac and she proceeded or do it when I saw that my nails all bad I told her that my nails were not right, Her proceeded to do it again which left my nails very weak, the next day I had all the broken nails, this happens when they hire people who have no idea what they do. Ill never go there again.

This place is great, Yvonne did shellac on my nails and the first color I choose was too light and she suggested a different color and it was bette then the first! She took her time and made sure each nail was perfect. This is the place to come when you really want quality nails. I didn’t feel rushed, as I do in other salons. This is my new go-to nail salon! The wax job was good. I like how it turned out, but the lady and I had a miscommunication. I went in asking for my eyebrows and lip to be waxed and she asked if I wanted my face waxed. I said yes (not knowing she was asking about the whole face. I didnt know people get their whole entire face waxed.). After she waxed my eyebrows and lip, she started waxing the side of my face, but I told her I did not want that. Just be clear about what you want if youre going in to get waxed. Also, on the way home, I realized there was some wax in my hair! 😬

I went for my first time yesterday and it was amazing! I got a massage, mani pedi and a facial and I cant tell you how great I feel! It was perfect and well worth the money! They also gave me complimentary mimosas which made it even better! Theyre so nice and do whatever they can to make this the best experience! Highly recommend.

My daughters and I love MIMOSA NAILS AND SPA.The staff is very friendly and concerned with our needs. We try to go every 2 weeks and I love getting a massage there. It is quite and very comfortable atmosphere. If you havent tried MIMOSA you are missing a real treat.

I went in for the first time.... I get pedicures/manicures regurarly but this isnt my normal places I just needed an emergency touch up for an event. I felt like they did a good job on my pedicure and manicure over all, just some lack of attention to details... When I would point out something, she seemed very upset and like she didnt want to fix it even though I asked very gently and nicely ? I was confused why she seemed so upset? Just wish I had a different technician... There seemed to be really nice people working there and then some people who were kind of rude. The lady who did my toes was different from the nail technician and both were not friendly and kind of rude. I did see other nice people who were very friendly to their customers so I I guess it just depends. The lady who was doing my nails kept signing loudly exasperated every 5 minutes as if she didnt want to be there and talking the whole time laughing in a way that made it sees like maybe she is talking about you. I saw other technicians try to talk to me and by their face they seemed embarrassed of her behavior ... I dont think I imagined it... Unfortunate experience for me ☹️

Mimosa is a great place for your nails and skincare. Trish, the owner, is very welcoming and the staff is professional and friendly. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. TV is on but no sound. Ive been coming here every month and have always enjoyed my visit. Ms. Trish keeps her nail colors updated and new.** Update: In 2019, I started having painful ingrown toe nails issues. My toes hurt to the touch and I cant wear pumps anymore. Trish says a lot of her clients have the same issues. She knows how to remove them. She would dig deep into the nail beds and remove the hard nail pieces that have grown out & got buried deep into the sides of my toe nails. I now come to see her every few weeks for the ingrown nails as well as her wonderful massages.

My experience at Mimosa Nails & Day spa was refreshing and nice. Everyone there was kind and helpful and always wanted to know were you fine did you need anything. The ladies there do very good work nails and feet were excellent as always. Keep up great work Mimosa .

I am new to Katy and was struggling to find a new nail place. This is by far my favorite! I came in super late and they immediately took great care of me. I had two people working on my hands and feet at the same time! It was a very relaxing environment and gave me just what I needed to forget about my day. The spa is very clean and has lovely decorations. The service was incredible and my nails look amazing and for a great price! I will definitely make this my go-to spa.

Friday morning I went to Mimosa Nails and Day Spa for a Shellac Manicure and Paradise Pedicure. Lucy’s team did an excellent job. Linda performed my pedicure, while Becky executed my manicure. Becky helped choose a fun, summery color and was very sweet and helpful throughout. Linda gave the best pedicure I’ve ever had! The paraffin wax treatment is wonderful for both feet and hands. It is so relaxing and comforting. It is not a rushed service where I felt they are trying to hurry me out the door to get to the next client. They are very attentive and concerned with my relaxation and enjoyment during my entire stay. The spa is spotless with a peaceful vibe, and great lighting/décor that add to your overall experience. I highly recommend Mimosa Nails and Day Spa for a weekly or monthly treat. Pamper yourself often. You deserve it!

My first time here and Tammy did my facial. She did an amazing job. It was 90 minutes. She didn’t rush she didn’t do a crappy job she did a awesome job. I loved having Tammy. My face is smooth she rubbed my shoulders and everything. She showed me all the dirt that came off my face and everything she was very polite I will be coming back to her.

The atmosphere is very relaxing. The massage rooms are a nice size. I went to get my eyebrows waxed and the results were beautiful. I tried nail dip for the first time and the results were amazingly natural. I love them. I think they have created another regular customer.

I’ve been to this salon twice and it will not be a third!!! One day I came for a soak off, full set with clear tips and I paid $35 ... today I went for a “refill” and was charged $30!!!!??? and I got a pedicure and was charged $25! the same lady who done my nails the first time did my nails today… (I won’t mention her name because she is so sweet and was in tears because I was so upset) However, no one could give me an exclamation on why my refill was more expensive than a pedicure. So of course they made it seem as if I didn’t have the money and told me I didn’t have to come back lol. So I tipped them both and told everyone to have a great day. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. DON’T GO!!

This is the first time Ive ever gotten my nails done at a nail salon and the employees here are absolutely amazing, extremely nice and professional. The manager, Trish, was very nice amd friendly as well the lady who did my nails, Vivian. I had a great time conversing with them the whole time and she was very meticulous, spending a decent time carefully doing my nails to make sure theyre perfect. Vivian and Trish was also understanding and kind in explaining the process to me. This place also offers great prices for the amazing service. Overall, great service with these awesome, kind, and easygoing ladies. I would highly recommend Mimosa Nails Spa :)

I brought my best friend here so we could have a spa day and it was great!! We both got the teen facial which was the best facial Ive ever had and it was so relaxing. The products they used didnt irritate my super sensitive skin at all. I also got a manicure which was nice and very reasonably priced. Definitely coming back!

Lucy did an amazingly wonderful job on my permanent eyebrows. She made me feel very comfortable. She said that she would take care of me and made me feel like I could really trust her. It was very relaxing. She turned on soft music to make me feel relaxed and talked me through the procedure to let me know what she was doing. I actually had no idea how to draw my eyebrows and she drew them perfectly for my face. She asked for my approval and she did it. I love my eyebrows! I would go back for eyeliner. This place is also good for massages. My sister went in for a 60 minute massage and came out feeling great. They are great on making time to fit you in as well!

Very nice and clean salon. The staff seems to be attentive and they can easily fit you in without an appointment. I went in for the SNS dip powder and the gentleman that serviced me (Andy) seemed to be in a hurry from the start. The powder from my previous appointment was not completely removed, he cut me during drilling and I went in with almond shaped nails and now they are ALL different. Please be vocal about what you want and make sure you get what you want before you pay!

Ive been here many many times and I absolutely love it! Their prices arent that bad and I got the most amazing massage here! The inside is very clean and fashionable, the ladies are super nice and friends, and it has an overall relaxing aura. Definitely check this place out whenever you get the chance :)

My daughter referred me to this salon. I was greeted at the door, and taken to a pedi-chair where I received a warm and relaxing pedicure by Ms Van, She was extremely attentive to my needs and comfort. My french manicure was done by Tom, who shared a wonderful conversation with me. He was a delight, so warm and friendly! I will be going back and hopefully be able to have them take care of me again.

I am extremely selective with who I let do my Shellac Nails and I can honestly say you will not find anyone better than Lily. Yvonne gives the best pedicures of all time. I will certainly be back.

Went in for back waxing, the lady was very nice and took care of me well. In and out quickly. Best part is the price, others wanted to charge $100 or more, Mimosa charged me $40. Can’t beat that.

People tell me it looks natural they cant even tell they are tattoo on.Lynn is my nail tech .. she is a wonderful caring person. My nails look so beautiful and they last long they do not lift. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. I have been here before but only for manis & pedis. The prices are worth the service, you get what you pay for! My Daughter purchased a Full Body Massage for me Christmas 2017 and I finally was able to use it a few days ago. I walked in without making an appointment and the staff was accommodating. Trish was my masseuse and she was amazing!! Very strong but soft hands, hitting all of my pressure points. I felt very relaxed and almost fell asleep. This spa is very clean, the staff is kind, and the place is relaxing. Five stars !!!!!

Manicure was good but I also got a pedicure. Two toes on my left foot were bleeding. Now, my right big toe is infected. I will have to see a doctor for antibiotics. It is swollen and spreading down my toe. Unfortunate. I was looking forward to returning but not anymore :(

The staff here does an excellent job on pedicures and manicures, especially the French shellac. The best time to come is during the week, you can be serviced immediately. A very relaxing environment where they also offer complimentary mimosas.

Took my mom here to spoil her for a while. The place is clean, personnel are very attentive, nice. The massage was really good and most of all my mom was happy.

Just moved to the area and looking for a new nail place near home. I had a gel shellac. After a few days, my nails started breaking under the shellac (which Ive never experienced), the color of the polish was yellowing, the polish was chipping off, and Im picking at cuticles all day. Overall not worth the price.The atmosphere was a bit off too. When you first walk in, it seems like they were going to update the place, but the front of the salon and the nail area/walls looks beat up. Its just a bit messy and overwhelming... not necessarily a relaxing atmosphere, outside of the music playing in the background. I wont go back here.

I had trouble finding a reasonable priced nail salon being new to the Katy area. I tried Tiffany nails & was not pleased with the price nor outcome.. so I tried this place for a new set! And let me telllll you! Vivian is the best in the area! She will do exactly what you ask and usually there wont be additional charges for all the little things!! My wife is a regular and went in couple of weeks ago to get her pedi and mani w/ shellac and her polish/shellac only lasted barely 1 week. It would just slip off. Shes had it done before and it would last on about 3 weeks. The work and attention is always great, but this time they were quicker to finish than usual. Also, they had a new worker doing my wifes nails🤨.Im sure she is awesome too. Shellac shouldnt fall off so soon. A couple of days ago went tried another local business and so far so good the nails still look damn good!

I have been going to Mimosa Nails for almost 2 years and I wouldnt go anywhere else ! Mimosa Nails and Day Spa is the best nail shop I have Ever been to ! The people are very friendly and professional..They do an excellent job! I get compliments all the time on how pretty my nails are.Tom does a great job on my nails,he takes alot of pride in doing a good job ! My nails dont lift are break,he always makes sure they look natural!! They are the Best of the Best !!! Alice Z.

First time visiting Mimosa Spa and Nails. I went for a 1 hour massage and a paradise pedicure. I personally felt that the paradise pedicure was way over priced ($50) for what you got - I think the deluxe pedicure ($30) would have been a much better value. Oh well, I will know for next time. The massage was wonderful. Great price and she even used hot stones during my Swedish massage. The massage rooms were very clean and smelled nice. I have been to massage envy and other massage chains, but I found the massage I got at Mimosa Spa and Nails to be just as good. She actually spent a whole hour on the massage and the price was great. Very comfortable massage beds (very, very comfortable). I think I will try the facial next time. Be sure to go to their website and print out coupons. Also, there is a young girl there (not sure of her name) who does amazing nail art!! I showed her a picture on my phone of nail art with shooting stars and she did it perfectly. I live in Richmond, but I would say this place is worth the drive. Bring a book because they dont have tvs going like some nail spas have (very relaxing environment to read in). Also, they have water to drink or mimosas (you can get just the orange juice if you want). You may have to ask for a beverage, but dont be shy - they are all very nice!!

Very bad. I schedule an appointment for my wife. They made her wait for about 30 min then she said she needed to leave. They said they could do a simple procedure faster for $20, but after doing the procedure (facial cleaning) the boss said it was $30...Worst of all the procedure was not even well done.Horrible. Will never use it again. It was a gift for my wife turned sour..
