I did not get the womans name but I will NEVER forget the birthmark on her right arm. She was upset because I asked her to cut my toenails down instead of just filing them. She was so upset that when it was time to scrape my calluses she did the most sensitive part of my left big toe with such aggression. It was like she lost it for a minute and then caught herself. She didnt even do that to the rest of my feet that actually have dry skin that needs extra attention. When I finally said that my toe was still hurting she insisted that she needed to do it that way to make it smooth and when I asked why she didnt do my heels or the other feet like that she just ignored the question. She half massaged my feet and half painted my toes. The whole nail isnt even painted on most of them.You can see where my skin is scraped on my left toe in the pictures compared to my right toe. It is two hours later and my toe is still hurting! I have been coming to this salon since the beginning of this year and have never had an experience like this.

What I asked for (but different color) vs what I got. I’ve only been here twice and both times my nails came out perfect. Prices were fair as well. Highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment to have a manicure with Amy. I arrived and the person was rude and forward for me to wash my hands and pick a color. She did not push gel or power, which I liked. When I sat down, the area wasnt the cleanest, yes, but yes, I stayed. The girl was very quiet, did not talk so, I asked if she was Amy since I scheduled with her, she said No, Amy was off work and continent working quietly. Next thing, my hands were in baggies with a solution, no explanation of what was in it till I asked, it was cuticle softener. Then, she told me to pay before the mail polish was put on so my nails wouldnt mess up. I said, what about the wax or sugar scrub. She said oh, You want that. Shouldnt you see that, since I booked online. So, I was put in bags with wax and the girl walked away. She started working on someone else and did not come back. The front desk girl came over, she took over. I asked if she was a manicurist, she said no, just does the front desk but continued to work on my nails so I thought well maybe she does both and is learning. No, She totally messed my nails up. This is what I got from this place. I will never go back!!

I booked online 24 hours in advance. At arriving, was not greeted, had to go to get attention of person behind desk, then was told to take a seat. I inquired if there was an appointment registered for me and she said yes. Sat there for 20 minutes, so obviously did not have a slot scheduled. Finally got seated 30 minutes after my appointment. Then it was the fastest pedicure ever done by a gentleman who was obviously under stress. My sister was attended to by the owner and had a very good pedicure . Lesson learned...appointments mean nothing

I really like how Tim does my nails. My fingers are twisted from arthritis and he is very gentle. I tell my friends about T&V.

Tracy always does a great job with my nails! They last even with working on an assembly line. I recommend this place to all of my friends.

We were taken to our pedicure chairs, no hi what’s your name etc. Two employees talking to each other through the entire service. My daughter and I not able to understand them. Not offered water or asked if we liked the service. My daughter had to ask if she would make the nails even on both feet. Her nails were not even and were angled. I asked for hearts on both great toe nails. They were 2 different sizes, one she painted back over the top making the heart square. On the other toe she dropped red paint down the toe nail. When checking out I asked if they could take the price of the hearts off and the owner refused stating she would paint over the heart. Our experience was not welcoming or professional. We will never go back.

Great place! So cute in there and the staff is super nice. They use individual tools on everybody - really clean! All (I think all, maybe just a lot) of their products are organic! They also have different discounts like for birthday months, anniversaries, and rewards programs. I just went here the first time for my birthday! If you want the friendliest manicurist ask for Christine and tell them I recommended her! This picture is 2 days after a french manicure with regular polish, and I only have minimal chipping (and I’m very rough on my hands)! ALSO, she did so well with my cuticles. That’s the worst part for me, and there was absolutely no bleeding or pain and I’m shocked how cleaned up she got them! And the salon as a whole is so accommodating. Complimentary drinks too! Great price overall.

I never ever leave bad reviews but i just feel like I should warn future customers... We waited 1 hour past our scheduled appointment time for the most rushed and worst quality mani/pedi Ive ever had. It was a bit on the expensive side and my nail technician was rude. I wont be going back.

I have been going to Nails by T&V for a while now and I always get such cute nails, Tracy is amazing at designs, no matter which picture I show her she always makes it happen. I have also had great experiences with the other nail technicians.

Flat out. Dont go here. Maybe for manicures but definitely not pedicures. Not nice and foots bleeding and have cuts on my heel from improper use of calluse remover. Just save your money and dont go here.

I went here and got my nails done. Extremely rude and my nails are not at all the same size. On my left hand one of my nails is completely pointed to the right side. I told her I thought it was crooked and she said no and kept going. I spend 55 dollars on my nails were as normally I spend between 25-45 and they look good. I expect perfect nails and I hate these. Not going back.

Tracy and Vicky manage the most capable staff in a bright, busy yet convenient location. I’ve been delighted with my manicures and pedicures at T&V for over 2 years. Their safety precautions are perfect for the current circumstances; but it’s still a pleasure to share a mani/pedi with friends 💜

This place was great! My wife had it done but I was there. Very clean and the people were really nice. The nail artist was really picky about how it looked and did an outstanding job! We will be back!!!!

I’ve been going to T&V nail salon since they first opened their doors. The girls there are so friendly and do a great job. I love the fact that they use organic products. They sanitize everything and are extremely clean. Tracy is my go to gal. Thanks for the great service and I would highly recommend.

Tracy did my nails and was very patient with me (i didnt know what i wanted or what i could do). She did an amazing job. She fixed my crooked nail ( from a different place) perfectly! Truly very happy! We will be back.

I have been to this salon a few times, and every time I leave, I am not super satisfied. The quality of work is okay, but not as good as other salons. Most of the time, the staff isn’t bubbly or friendly, so it leaves you feeling like you are a nuisance. They seem to have a lot of “regulars” that come in, which is great, but they seem to not treat their more random customers the same. As of today, I can say this will be the last time I visit this salon.

Update- I gave this salon another shot and I was much more impressed and happy with my service. I have found my go to nail tech with Davy, and the pedicure was amazing. I will be a return customer from here on out.Just okay. The pedicure was nice, but expensive at over $1 a minute. They clipped my toe while trimming my nails. Accidents happen, no big deal. I got a dip refill on my nails immediately after my pedi. My toes dried in the sandals they provided for over an hour while my nails were getting done. I put my shoes on and they instantly smudged. My dip manicure is pretty pathetic. The enamel is incredibly thin and cracked after one day. That technician, a different one from the pedicure, also clipped the skin on my finger. Cant say I will be back.

Came in with a friend for pedicures and I got a French dip... they were not the friendliest and the pedicure was just so so we purchased the #3 they didn’t message our feet at all (most of what I look forward to in a pedi) they were rough and I didn’t get the lotion finish but my friend did 🤔🤔 and they seemed to just rush us through to get us in and out... the gentleman that did my nails was even less friendly then the ladies in all We spent $140 they and overall was not a pleasant experience and most likely will not be back.

Tracy and Vicki are so professional and go the extra steps to keep you happy. They will also keep you laughing and make sure your experience is outstanding. The shop is absolutely clean and sanitized.

UPDATE 2020:Still going to Nails by T&V and they are still AMAZING If you havent been there please try them out. Tracy is my favorite and I appreciate everything she does for me 💖💅I have been to alot of nail salons and Nails by T&V is by far the best place Ive ever been to. Not only do they do a phenomenal job they are honest and very friendly and I appreciate that. Tracy is my nail tech and I can show her a picture and it always looks exactly like it, but Vicky and Sarah are also amazing. They always have all the newest color, products and can do any design you want. I highly recommend coming here.

This place is great. The environment is calm and welcoming, everyone is very friendly. When I had questions they were answered nicely. The nail care was the best I’ve found in my area; NO bleeding, NO uneven nails. There is a variety of polish and there was no clumping at all. Will definitely go back. :)

This nail salon should really be a nail spa. It is probably the cleanest nail salon in all of KCMO. Never worry if the foot tub was cleaned before you. All tubs are lined with liners, all tools and files are one time use as well as sanitized in a professional machine. This salon uses organic products as well. I love the hot stone foot and leg massage! In addition, I noticed after several visits that I do not have an itchy nose or sneeze while my nails are being worked on. I inquired to the owners about this and they informed me that they had additional, special vents installed when building the salon. The purpose being to suck out all the impurities in the air. They told me that this benefits both patrons and their employees... I completely agree! With all the upgrades and extra care you would think youd pay more for the professional services but this is not the case. Competitive prices and weekly specials. This is an amazing nail spa!

I had THE BEST Organic Signature pedi by Davy! The foot massage was incredible and relaxing! He paid attention to detail and my feet are happy;)

Ive been going here for a year and Im consistently pleased. The owners, Tracy and Vicky, are great and the salon is clean. I also love that when I make an appointment I dont have to wait. Ive had issues with other salons ignoring appointments when theyre busy and having to wait 30 minutes despite having an appointment - but never here! Im not in to nail art but there are some really talented people at this salon who can recreate any design you find on Pinterest too!

Receptionist may have been training, not sure, but she wasnt friendly. Only spoke to ask if I had an appt, when I told her no, she responded with pick a color. No other greeting. Nail technician seemed to be rushing through the entire thing. Definitely not a relaxing pedicure.

Gave me what i wanted but charged $55 for a fill and that was the total after they took a percentage off for paying in cash instead of card. I know people who charge less for the same quality they were just booked and i had a flight. Also i feel like the staff is a little under experienced. One lady prepped me for the fill but because she didn’t know how to do the unicorn nails she passed me to someone else. I think it’s personal preference but i like for only one individual to work on my nails.

I went and got my nails done at Nails by T&V for the first time yesterday. My experience was nothing short of amazing! The workers were very friendly and welcoming and the lady (I hate I didnt get her name) that did my nails did an amazing job!

I drive 40 minutes to get there because of how amazing Vicky and the entire team are! Everyone there does an incredible job and hey are so professional, polite and SUPER sweet. They’re artists!

The owner has been doing my nails since before she had her own salon and I am so excited for her! A salon with pedicure spa liners, new tools for every visit, and organic products as an option. Finally a nail salon in the northland thats consistently clean with great service!!

I visted Nails by T&v last week on the 5th and on saturday the 8th my acrylic nail lifted on 2 fingers like there wasnt enough glue. This is very disappointing. $50 down the drain.

My appointment for a mani/pedi was for two people and it was at noon. We didnt get a chair will 12:15 and then waited other 15 minutes to be helped by somebody. When we walked in they were not busy. When I finally did get helped it was very rushed and I got passed on to somebody else for my mani, She also seemed very rushed. People with appointments started walking in and they werent even ready for them either! Whats the point of setting up appointments if your going to have to wait to be helped? It seemed like they had no organization or time management. At the end I was waiting for my coat to dry and another lady walked up and put cuticle oil on my nails, lifting a small peace of the coating. She then told me to have a good day, as in rush me out.
