We had received damage to our roof around our chimney from a storm. We contacted West Michigan Roofing to see if they could make the needed repairs. Upon speaking with them we were scheduled a meeting to review the work that needed to be done. I was quoted a very reasonable price for the repairs and very quickly, less than two weeks later, they were able to get started on the repairs. It was completed on the same day they started. The crew led by Manuel was very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the repair process and even going so far as to take pictures of the process and bring them down to me on the ground. This was extremely important for me as I am disabled and cannot get up on the roof. If I had questions about the process or anything related to the job they were more than happy to answer them for me. The crew was polite and very professional. As they were wrapping up they were able to bring my husband up on the roof to make sure we were happy with the work that was done. We were beyond impressed with the level of quality and how the work was completed,it looks beautiful. Overall I am exceedingly pleased with their expediency, level of craftsmanship, and professionalism. I would and will happily recommend them to any and all who need roof work done.

I absolutely love my roof. It’s so pretty! Bob and his crew led by Manuel, were very nice, thorough, even nice enough to help me get kids across the street. Manuel made sure to ask questions often, update on the progress, etc. we even got a matching roof for our shed. (House will painted shed color come spring). Bob was awesome to work with. He met with the adjuster and walked through everything with him. And that’s before he was hired. Amazing work, amazing crew, just great people who care about their work and customers. Bob even helped us with with our Christmas lights on the gutters when he came by to inspect the work, just to be nice. They exceeded my expectations. Last year when we had the hail storm in Plainwell, I received dozens of brochures in the mail from eager roofing companies. West Michigan was the first or second company I called, but quickly stood out because Tony started connecting with my insurance company while I was still vetting companies. The other bidder had made little effort on my behalf in comparison, and Tony’s initiative made my choice clear. Everyone is super great and easy to work with. Brian young has been so helpful with the preparations of our new roof! It has been leaking and even though the installation is only a few days away,he took time to come out and tarp our roof so if it rained anymore that we would be good! He is so kind and professional and whenever we have an issue or question,he is very responsive!

West Michigan Roofing did an awesome job on replacing our old and stained roof with a new beautiful roof. We have a pretty big home and wanted to also get our shed, playhouse, and playset re-roofed as well. They did it all in 2 1/2 days and did a quality job. I really appreciated the help our project manager, Derek, provided. He helped us pick out a great color and even climbed on the roof to lay out shingles so we could get an idea of how it would look on the house. Derek made sure we were aware of all shingle and venting options and helped us pick the options that are right for us… and after I checked with a few other roofing contractors and saw the BBB rating we knew West MI Roofing was the right choice. The roofers were customer focused and although busy, they took the time to answer any questions or requests we had. Brendon, the crew manager, did a great job making sure the crew had what they needed, were doing quality work, and were happy. He even climbed up on the roofs to help wrap up the job. West Michigan Roofing and Construction recently replaced our roof and did an excellent job in every phase. We needed a complete tear off because we had two layers of shingles and plenty of bad decking. There was a leak that was causing water to run down the wall on the interior of our home. Since the work has been completed we have had no leaks or any issues and it looks great! Weve got piece of mind knowing that if anything ever does go wrong these guys stand behind their work. Bob Ackerman was friendly, professional and easy to consult with. He made helpful suggestions as far as shingle colors and explaining product options. They also offer financing which was a huge relief for us not having to come out of pocket for such a big ticket item. That being said, we found their pricing was better than any of the other quotes we received. Bob walked us through the financing process and made things easy to understand. The roofing crew led by Manuel were professional, fast, efficient and took the time to explain what was going on each time we interacted with them. The crew started on possibly the worst day of winter dealing with snow and sub zero temperatures and still had it completed in just a few days. Five stars across the board for Bob and his team!!!

We would recommend this company for anyone needing a new roof or repair. We had damage to our 20 year old roof due to winter and high winds. Joe came out and made a temporary repair quickly and at no cost to us. He got us an estimate within 2 days for a full replacement. I received multiple other quotes but this company had the best price with the best products and could get our roof done in 2-3 days (which was great because we have a 5 month old and a dog that does not like loud noise). Joe communicated with me throughout the entire process and returned my emails within hours each time. The guys completed the job in 2.5 days. They cleaned up after each day and were on time every morning. We appreciate how quickly they worked and that they did not leave a mess. Our new roof looks great!! The entire process only took a few weeks (delayed due to COVID restrictions). We are grateful for Joes patience with us and are very happy with the end result (so far so good, a few days in). :-)

The initial meeting was straight to the point; he listened to my exact needs and was able to meet them. He and his crew were able to work around my schedule, work with me on pricing, and did a great job with clean up and keeping me in the loop with any changes. WMI Roofing & Construction did a nice job after we had major hail damage. I wanted a contractor that worked with Owens Corning, did high-wind installations, and did both roofing and siding. Was a smart choice to pick them to replace everything.

Highly recommended! Extremely professional and very easy to do business with! West Michigan Roofing and Construction has developed a very sophisticated approach to examining your roof and presenting options to fix or replace it, as needed. Shannon, one of their very experienced roofing professionals, took a video of our 25 year-old roof, accompanied by his narration, detailing the minor and major issues he observed as he walked along its surface. A short time later, I met with Shannon and he and I viewed the video and reviewed the PowerPoint slide presentation he had developed which outlined his recommendations. As soon as I saw the video, I instantly realized I would need to have the old roof completely torn off and a new roof installed.In addition to the video portion, the presentation slides covered shingle material and color options, shingle configuration possibilities, backing materials, proposed roof venting upgrades to improve the longevity of a new roof, labor and installation costs, warranty coverage, customer testimonials, a gallery of photos from previous roof installations and a brief history of the company. The last slide detailed multiple pricing options for my wife and I to consider. By the way ... one very helpful feature included in the presentation was a computer-generated, dimensional image of our home and roof, offering the capability of toggling through shingling options (primarily configurations and colors) and displaying how they would appear, installed. After reviewing the pricing options, I gave Shannon the go-ahead to proceed. A short time later Shannon visited our home with shingle samples so my wife and I could view the actual products alongside our siding and trim colors to ensure the roof would be compatible with the rest of our home. Yesterday, bright and early, the installation crew arrived. Well before noon they had the old roof completely stripped off and had the new roof entirely installed and the work area thoroughly cleaned-up by late afternoon. Amazing! The roof looks great and it will provide our home with protection for decades to come. If I had another property that needed a roof repair or replacement, I would use West Michigan Roofing and Construction again without hesitation! Great job Shannon and crew!

Derek Farrel made the experience of getting a new roof pleasant and easy. I love that he took before and after pictures (I was not going up there) and included them in a presentation that was also e-mailed to me for my records. I was having trouble deciding on a color so he made a special trip back to my house, went up on the roof and laid out a batch of shingles so I could get a better idea of what it would look like. I am so glad he went above and beyond or I would have been disappointed with my original color choice, but because of his extra efforts I love my new roof. I was amazed how efficiently the crew worked and the care they took with cleanup, completing everything in one day. It was time to replace our whole roof. They were priced competitively, great communication, professional, clean and most of all we got a much better warranty on the shingles and labor by hiring WMR. I suggest you do your homework when comparing who you are going to hire. The shingle companies have in network providers which means you can get a much longer warranty on the shingle and labor compared to out of network laborers that cant offer the same guarantee.

Joe Caton was our first contact and we felt confident we were dealing with an honorable person. We had several estimates, and Joe was not the lowest or highest. Joe called with a date, the crew was here a day and a half, cleaned up great. Roof looks great. Joe always took my calls and answered all questions. I recommend them to anyone needing a roof, a great group of people.

I had a great experience with the job these guys did. They were always available to discuss any questions or concerns I had along the way. Bob Ackerman was a text away and the job was done in a timely manner. The price was reasonable and they used high quality products. My roof was done, my garage fixed up with some new wood and new siding. They replaced a sliding door window and 2 garage windows. They fixed up an electrical box and a few other odd jobs. Im definitely going with these guys again for any future work.

I live in South Haven next to a home that WMR did a complete tear off and new install on Wednesday, 4/19/18. I was so impressed with the crew that did the job for someone else I felt if fitting to do a review.Being a former HVAC contractor that had on-going issues finding quality employees, I was blown away by the professionalism of the crew on site.As I share a driveway with the neighbors, there were roofing nails that had made their way onto my side of the driveway. As I pulled in, one of the guys stopped me and immediately grabbed a broom and leaf blower to clean the drive.They worked late to get the job done, with the stereo on for music at a low level, no loud talking, no yelling, just a great group of guys.They left NO mess and I even saw one of the crew wiping down the white deck rails to the house that they never touched.The next day another gentleman was out to inspect the job and did another walk around to check for stray nails.I would recommend WMR and specifically the crew on site that day without any hesitation.COMPLETELY IMPRESSED!

Our experience with West Michigan Roofing was very positive, The relationship began with Bob Ackerman West Michigan Roofing, branch manager. Bob clearly explained not only the roofing products, but also provided alternatives to the traditional roof replacement. He showed us an overview visual of our roof and how the roofers would handle our multiple peaks and valleys. Bob also suggested the color and style of shingle for our home. He used a design visualizer My Design EyeQ™ by Owens Corning Fiberglas® to show us what our home would look like with the shingle he recommended. We also had the opportunity to see alternative designs and color with a few clicks from his computer. When it came down to a decision, West Michigan Roofing was extremely cost competitive (OK they were the lowest cost). But what really made our decision to go with West Michigan Roofing was the confidence that Bob gave us that the roofing project would be done right, on time and on budget. Well we weren’t disappointed. Two days after signing the agreement there was a crew of roofers, tearing off our old roof and installing a new roof all in a single twelve hour day! The roofing team each had their assignments and worked in collaboration to minimize the disruption. Thy brought in a dumpster and all the old roofing and material were carted away and the yard surrounding the house was cleared up as well. Follow-up communication from Bob ensured that we were happy with the reroof and of course the value received.
